We had our boiler go out in 17-degree weather. I called Sideris, and Kimona was on top of the emegency request and responded quickly while providing updates on their eta. They got to me within 2.5 hours of that call. John Jr. came and assessed/resolved our boiler issue promptly. They are licensed and verified to work with Weil-McCain boilers, and it shows. As a matter of fact, I found them on the Weil-Mclain official website of contractors. John fixed some issues our previous plumbers never knew with speed and professionalism. I highly recommend Sideris Plumbing.

WONDERFUL PEOPLE! WONDERFUL SERVICE! I have a unique plumbing situation in my Manhattan apartment. My water system is separate from the building I live in. I have struggled for years to find a company that will work on my water system at all-let alone do competent work. My Super found Sideris Plumbing for me after a different plumbing company, a company who installed a pressure pump for me only 3 years earlier, refused to service that same pump! I called and Kimona (who I assume is the office manager) promptly returned my call for service and she was professional and pleasant and kind! Kimona arranged for John to come out and fix ALL my water problems. I had a real mess on my hands. By the time everything was fixed, I met 4 different guys. ALL friendly and ALL professional. And my water pressure and hot water has never been better. I really had no idea that I had been living with poor water pressure and poorly working hot water. It was a complicated job and they did amazing work in miserably hot conditions. Kimona did a wonderful job of both communicating when the guys would arrive to work on the water system and the cost of parts and labor. I have never been happier with a company hired to work on my apartment. I would give them 6 stars if I could.

Referred by a trusted friend, I am very pleased with the exceptional service. They asked for a video of the issue and was able to provide me a solution + cost before they came over. Then they came within a couple of hours from my initial call. The length of repair time for the toilet issue was shorter compared to estimated time which I appreciate due to my busy work schedule. They showed me the end result before leaving which I was able to visually confirmed that the issue was solved. They took the broken part which avoids me from having to discard it. All in all - I’m a happy customer.

Sideris has done work for our Coop and its individual owners for over 5 years. They have the unique ability to give their word and to deliver on what they promise. This type of business integrity is rare and they combine both practical and technical knowledge to delivery stellar service in solving problems. They have a wide array of competent services and people. In our building they have worked on gas leaks and repiping, boiler repair and maintenance, thermostats for individual apartments, and leak repairs on our connector to the underground city water main. When I had an emergency leak in my apartment their quick response and ability to solve the real problem saved me and another apartment major damage and expense. Lastly and most importantly, Sideris shows up with answers to difficult problems. I feel confident that I can reach them at all times and when they arrive I know they will give me their best effort. High praise for this honest and well managed company.

Ive used Sideris Plumbing a few times over the many years - once to install a Nest thermostat in my own apt which has hot water radiator heat, other times for high urgency item in our coop building for an outdoor water pipe repair or a gas re-piping for our water heat. Outstanding professionalism, courtesy and quality. John Sideris Jr. came by to fix several kitchen sink and bathroom items and handled each of them thoroughly and also skillfully. He goes the extra mile to make sure he picks up the proper parts and also explains what he is doing as he does it, so you understand the work and the challenges involved. He will also think through or tackle anything unique or unexpected in the job - and not depart until everything is as it should be. Would use again and anyone out there should as well. After snapping a few pictures, they understood exactly what needed to be done, sent over the warranty information (which expired) of my current one, quoted me for NEXT DAY install. Just had an emergency gas leak detection service with them on a Sunday and couldn’t recommend this company more. I had been trying all day Saturday to get other companies out to my location but everyone kept ghosting me after the initial call. I found Sideris Plumbing on google and I will say that it might be a higher price than the other services (which by the way never showed up) so after all you get what you pay for. Excellent service, great customer support, and most importantly a very prompt response. They had someone to my location within 2hrs. I would definitely recommend their service and will be reaching back out to them for any other plumbing issues that might arise. It’s a company you can reliably depend on so look no further!
