I cant say enough good things about Gunthers! What a great company - from the sales people to their installers! Gunthers recently replaced our 10 year old furnace in our place in Park City, Utah that was still under warranty for the part that failed. The original installers failed to tell us a warranty was still available but Gunthers came through quickly and were so helpful! Use Gunthers if you have any heating, cooling or plumbing problems in the Park City area!

We were told by One Stop we had pin holes in our heat exchange and our blower motor was going bad on our furnace. Also that we needed repairs on our air conditioner.A friend had a great experience with Gunther’s and told me to call them. They came out for a no charge 2nd opinion and found no pin holes in the heat exchange and that the blower motor was fine. They did a $143 repair on the air conditioner that One Stop quoted more than double the price. The moral to this story is call Gunther’s for any HVAC needs if you want honesty. We didn’t need to spend $7k on a new furnace or even repair anything on it.

We replaced our own furnace almost a decade ago, using Gunthers. They did a great job! Our daughters furnace gave out on Saturday and she received bids from another company that felt high to us. The problem was that it was a weekend. But Gunthers sales person Jason responded to our requests and was able to get them into a much better, higher energy rated system for the same price as they were quoted by the other company for a much less efficient model.And then he went out of his way to find loaner space heaters to help them out until the installation is completed. We have only ever had good experiences with Gunthers. They do good, honest work.

Just shared the serial number of our water heater and they came in just a couple of hours with the parts needed. Replaced it and everything is working fine. UPDATE: Gunthers immediately followed up and made things right- they fully refunded the $119 fee from the initial visit and asked if I still needed service. I think my experience (below) was uncommon for them.ORIGINAL: Lots of positive reviews here and Im sure they do great work, when they do it. Unfortunately Ill never know. I called for help sealing off some attic vent covers that birds had torn off. The receptionist was polite. A guy came out and assessed the situation while I wasnt home, and called me afterwards. They charged me $119 for the visit, which I promptly paid, and quoted me $800 to come back and fix it, which I agreed to. They never followed up, so I found an alternative way to fix it myself. Many things I would have rather spent $119 on than a quote for job that was never followed up on. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This was terrific service provided by Gunthers. Several things worked well. First of all they arrived exactly on time, when they said they would, for the initial estimate. They were then able to schedule our repair sooner than they originally thought. The repair was started 1 day after we confirmed the repair and accepted the bid. Again, they arrived right on time to begin the repair and then actually found a better solution during the repair that ended up being less expensive and quicker. The repair was completed that day and since then our furnace has worked great and we are much more comfortable.I am fairly conservative with my compliments for contractors, since weve generally struggled with them, but Gunthers was very professional, helpful and innovative. Basically what you would expect and hope for. Great service.

I had just sold my home to my daughter when the furnace began acting up. A friend at her husbands work recommended Triple T to repair it . They came out slapped a sticker on it deeming it unsafe and turned her gas off leaving her with no heat and 3 small children. I was out of town but she called and I immediately told her to call Gunthers. They responded quickly and did a pressure test on the unit and found no leakage! The found a needed minor repair and a part that needed cleaning. The guy even returned the next day to get everything working properly and running smoothly! Triple-t continued to call wanting to do an expensive new install and had tried to manipulate them by shutting off their gas. It is so refreshing to know there are good people in this world! Gunthers are fast, dependable, honest and quite frankly the best at what they do. They can sell you a new unit but only when it is completely necessary! GOOD HONEST Service! Don’t let anyone else work on your HVAC!!!

Ive used Gunthers for servicing my air conditioner for many years. The unit is ancient, by todays standards, but they never have any trouble servicing the unit. Surprisingly, some of the techs are very conversant about the AC unit and the quirks/foibles of the condenser, etc. They know their stuff.Edit: I decided to replace my aging furnace and air conditioner. I called Gunthers and Jamie Schumacher came to my home to discuss the options. His sales pitch was really just a chalk talk about furnaces and air conditioners to help educate me about why I might want certain features and not want others. I wasnt in a position to buy right away and he was fine with that. No pressure. He sent me a quote for the models we discussed and left the choice to me. I called him 2 months later and we scheduled the install. The installers were very professional and they answered all of my questions as the proceeded with the install. They were also careful to review everything they did and ensured that I was comfortable using the new, more advanced thermostat. I would recommend Gunthers to anyone. Good product and good service.

Talk about profession experience. I am extremely impressed with Gunthers and their willingness to ensure customer satisfaction. I received 3 bids for a home furnace replacement. 2 came in $800 more expensive than Gunthers, and all for a name brand furnace with the same efficiency rating. Best of all, throughout this experience, was the companys desire to ensure everything was properly taken care of. From and engineer coming on site to properly evaluate and design the new furnace fittings, to calls from management to follow up to ensure everything was working as promised. I was shocked how well they dealt with a minor problem during the install. On the second day, one installer accidentally knocked over a small ladder onto my water softener--which broke off a valve part. When the accident happened, the installer quickly told me about it and said they would resolve the problem. It took a few days without soft water, but the company made sure they sent off my device for repair and to ensure the cost was covered. Senior management even called back several times to ensure everything was working properly. I am extremely impressed with their attention to detail, overall customer service and solid knowledge of all-things HVAC--and willingness to repair the accidental damage that was done--and without hesitation. Again, very impressed. I would use again, and without hesitation.

Gunthers worked with us on short notice to entirely replace our HVAC system with a new AC unit, furnace, blower, and reconfigured vents. They came in with the best bid among several companies contacted, offering a two-zone system with high-end Lennox products for substantially lower than competitors offering one zone. The job ended up being more complicated than expected, but they stuck to their original bid price. Their technicians were very pleasant and highly professional. We could not be happier with the service. For the first time since we purchased the home 15 years ago, we are comfortable in every room of our three-story house even on the hottest days of summer. Highly recommended!

I really appreciated how Gunthers and all their service staff helped me out yesterday and today! They worked with me so we could go pick up a parts from Trane warehouse, this allowed us to get our furnance running a day earlier. They do have an upfront $99 service fee, but their estimate was several hundreds less than other companies, and gave me after showing up. They were willing to give an approximate estimate even over the phone, with the assumption of what I needed was correct. I have always found them honest and are well respected by other HVAC companies. I did some of the work myself and they were willing to come out and inspect it afterwards! They really went out of their way for me. We have a working safe furance again! Most companies wouldnt do what they did for me and it is greatly appreciated! The next day our other furance had an issue and I had a similar experience. I plan to have them replace my furance and AC when that time comes.

I appreciated this service. First the company called with a cancellation and got our service done early. The technician, Nathan,was friendly and thorough. He listened to our concerns with our furnace and what has been going on. He looked at many parts of our furnace to diagnose the problem. He found some prior issues we weren’t aware of. I also appreciate that he explained things to me as he was going through. I am now much more knowledgeable about what is going on. He found our capacitor was running low and had one on hand to replace right away. I am very hopeful now that our furnace will run better than ever before.

Gunthers was great! The way my condominium complex was built required Gunthers to access my neighbors unit for the work I hired them to do and due to the Covid-19 stay at home order, my neighbor decided she wouldnt allow them to access her home mid installation. The crew did all the work they could and came back to finish the work as soon as the governors stay at home order ended over a month later. In the time in between, they were extremely flexible with payment and worked hard to get things resolved for me.On top of how they handled the circumstances, they fixed some major issues that were not part of the original estimate without adding any costs. Dwight and Stenson were awesome and the receptionists I worked with were very accommodating to the situation. There were two other people that came on to my place for the job whos names I sadly cant remember but were just as great as all the other people I interacted with. I would highly recommend Gunthers to anyone.

After another company came to my home and informed me that I needed a new furnace because of high (850) carbon monoxide readings, I called Gunthers for a estimate to match the first company for a new furnace. When the Gunthers salesman came out it was determined that in fact I did not need a new furnace at all! It seems that the first technician opened the gas valve and then falsified the carbon monoxide readings in order to sell me something I didnt need.I like the fact that Gunthers technicians are clean cut and honest. They do not work on commission and that helps them maintain their integrity. They explained the process of the furnace as a stood by and watched them and they showed me what had happened to have the high reading. They helped me understand the importance of carbon monoxide monitors in my home and I ended up having them install two of them as I did not own even one. They took the time to make sure everything was working properly and were up front with the needed work and the costs involved. I was so impressed with the company that I will be using them from now on. I trust them to do what is needed and no more.

Since moving to Utah 3 years ago, and on the recommendation of a neighbor, we’ve used Gunther’s for all of our plumbing and hvac work. We’ve had really outstanding experiences with them. Their prices are fair, their people are great to interact with and the work they do is very professional and courteous.We recently chose to preemptively replace our furnace, air conditioner, compressor and hot water heater because once a unit goes out, your choices are very limited in getting replacements on short notice.For these jobs, I called Gunther’s,of course, but I also requested a quote from the vendor that works with our local Costco. I also called two other vendors but never got callbacks.Gunther’s bid was several thousand dollars less than the Costco bid for exactly the same Lennox equipment, even after considering the Costco gift card one receives with this type of project.Nathan and Jason, from Gunther’s, spent almost two days getting everything done (which is what we were told to expect), they were very neat in their work, cleaned up nicely at the end of day 1 and at the end of the project, and, most importantly, their work was very meticulous in fitting everything together and having everything look neat and clean as they finished up.I can’t recommend Gunther’s highly enough for plumbing, heating and cooling repair or new equipment, including their nominally priced Spring and Fall tuneup services for your heating and cooling equipment.

Ken was extremely conscientious and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain how/why our air conditioning units were not working properly and then fixed them completely. He is honest, hard working, highly intelligent, polite and clean (even making sure to put on shoe covers whenever he entered our home). I would HIGHLY recommend Ken at Gunthers Heathing and Air! I am very impressed and grateful for his attention to detail!
