Greg and Tanya have been helping us with our 100-year-old Juniata house for five years, starting with new HVAC system in 2019. Their work is always superb -- no shortcuts or half-baked work results. Whether the job is small or big, it gets high-level professional attention.Yesterdays project was a new kitchen sink to continue our gradual update of a 1990s kitchen. Greg took out the old stainless-steel sink, adjusted the plumbing under the sink and put in a totally modern black granite-composite sink with truly-practical industrial-style faucet. I bought sink and faucet from Amazon, pleased when Greg announced they were high quality.That change draws the eye away from the outdated cabinets (cannot afford to change them) and also gives us a more practical sink-style. We had Caporuscio plumbing do a concrete driveway job for us. Thats right, they also have a concrete department. Bob Larderi is the concrete foreman. During our first of two pours, a unexpected thunderstorm stopped the job 3/4 in for two hours. This affected the finish of the concrete. The 2nd went perfectly. When we noticed a issue, we called Caporuscio, Mr Larderi came right over, he wasnt happy with the first pour. He came back and ripped the whole driveway out and redid the whole job. Were very impressed and happy with the job we got from Caporuscio. It really improved the curb appeal of our home.

The 2 gentleman that came to my house were / are awesome .I have used these guys several times , They are easy to get along with which means alot to me . I have been a customer of Caporucio Plumbing & Heating for 30 years! When I built my home in 1994, Patsy and his crew installed the plumbing, all duct work, furnace, air cleaner and Lenox air conditioner! Because of the excellent yearly routine maintenance service Caporucio’s performs, my 30 year old air conditioner is still running like a champ today in this 90 degree weather!! Also, a big thanks to Kaleb for his kindness and his knowledge of HVAC!!

Ive used Caporuscio Plumbing twice now: once for an emergency service and once to replace a hot water tank. He gave me additional information that helped me understand why my water line burst--and not only fixed the issue, but put in measures to prevent it from happening again. Very happy with my experiences.

At the beginning of March, during the Covid-19 shutdowns, I had a sewer back up at one of my rental properties. The tenant called after it was up over the hot water heater, washer, dryer, and furnace. Called our warranty company and they sent out Caparuscio. The guys showed up timely, and had all the CDC protections in place. They had to replace trap, 15 ft of pipe, and put a clean out in. They also replaced the hot water heater and fixed the furnace. Of course the warranty doesnt cover a lot; however the price was very fair, especially in a time that others wouldnt come out.

My inducer went on my furnace I called these guys up because with a furnace, I have no idea what to do.These guys. Showed up in less than 30 mins to diag and order parts. It did stink waiting on the part to arrive, but thats not their fault.My tech Jason was very nice and I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone.

My experience with Caporuscio was nothing short of outstanding. My family had to place my in-laws from Johnstown in assisted living which is very difficult thing to do. We were forced to sell their house in Johnstown but found out we couldnt sell it until the sewer system was completely replaced and pressure tested. The realtor provided us with several companies that did this in the Johnstown area none of which would even return our calls. Caporuscio had done work for me in the past and I was always pleased with that so I called them and they said they would help me. Considering the fact that they are based in Altoona and drove to Johnstown to do this job says a lot about how much they really care about you as a person. You will not find nicer people to work with then Greg and Bobby. Thanks to them I can now try to sell the house so we can pay for our in-laws assisted living. Caporuscios has been my HVAC and plumbing team since I moved to Altoona in 2021. I have had EXCELLENT service including installing new AC, furnace maintenance, clogged external sewer line, duct cleaning, moving plumbing, and gas hookups for the washer and gas dryer. They have been courteous, kind, on time, efficient, respectful of my home, and friendly office staff. They came the same day for repairs and scheduled the maintenance and installation within a week or two of my request. During my furnace cleaning this summer, the tech found water in the bottom of the furnace due to a clogged drain. He cleared the clog and realigned the piping to the drain. Problem solved and no extra charge. Estimates on work were spot on. I am loyal to Caporuscios because they are loyal to me. Highly recommend.
