I found Ryan and Knightly Electrical Services from their glowing reviews and recommendations on Nextdoor and they did not disappoint! Their office was easy to work with and the appointments for the quote and getting the work done were kept and times were exact with a 30 min notice before arrival. Ryan was knowledgeable, professional and kind and his work and cleanup were A+. I had 8 new outdoor fixtures for my home replaced as well as a new ring doorbell. Install was perfect and he set-up the ring doorbell on my phone as well - what a nice extra step! Pricing was good and I look forward to using them again in the future.

Based on other very positive reviews I have seen regarding Ryans work, I asked him to evaluate a particular intermittent power issue I was having and to inspect the condition of my overall electrical panel and service systems. My home was built in 1954 and its clear the electrical system has not been fully upgraded in many years. Ryan addressed the intermittent issue and explained to my satisfaction and peace of mind it was not a significant safety issue. At my request, he then proceeded to educate me on what issues were involved in the upgrade of the panel and service, taking into consideration the homes age, the fact that it is a tear-down, and how long I anticipate remaining in it. His explanations were extremely thorough, easy to follow and understand, and there was no hard sell aspect to any aspect of the conversation. Based on everything we discussed, I requested a proposal for what it would take to bring the home up to code in my jurisdiction. That was provided to me very promptly and was clearly detailed. All follow up questions were addressed promptly, and I have great peace of mind with the level of understanding Ryan provided me regarding the pros and cons of moving forward with this project. The potential unknowns of the permit inspection process on a project like this is the only remaining matter I continue to weigh in this decision, as such matters are left to the discretion of the individual inspector, but if I do move forward with the upgrade, I will most certainly engage Ryans company to complete that work with absolutely no reservations. I also echo comments by others as to Ryans level of professionalism and personability in dealing with his customers.

We have been using Knightly for about 3 years now - they have been incredible partners for us as first time home owners. Their pricing is excellent, the service is always amazing (and very prompt) and they take the extra time to care. This most recent visit was the hardwire our walls for ethernet so we didnt have loose cords running everywhere, and they worked with the internet fiber tech to have the best install and set up for us. We even got a reduced price because they found a simpler way to install everything! Super trustworthy and incredible people to work with. Book with them!

I highly recommend Knightly - Ryan is the man. He came out and gave a free quote for several projects I had in mind. The prices were fair and he was transparent in what would be the most cost effective options. He installed a ceiling fan and fixed an electrical outlet in about two hours. I was pleased with the work and had him come back for some bigger projects. He installed another ceiling fan and two light fixtures, all required new wiring. Ryan and his staff were very responsive throughout the process. He’s also good with dogs, which is a plus.

Ryan with Knightly Electrical is a stand up guy really looking out for customers and not just the bottom line. Case in point: he came out to diagnose a series of outlets that had stopped working at my house. Ultimately, he traced the problem to a failed older breaker. He offered me a range of options - from just enough to address the problem to a full house rewire (my house was built in the 60s and hadnt ever had its electrical updated). Even the minimalist option was too rich for my blood. He asked how comfortable I was with basic electrical work and I answered pretty comfortable and he offered to tell me what he recommended and I paid only the diagnostic fee. The work was simple and Im back up and running without spending an arm and a leg.

After having had 4 electricians over the past dozen years, I finally found one who performed excellent, professional, and reliable work. He knows the electrical codes inside and out, and made worthwhile and honest recommendations in my 34-year old home. He notified us of his arrival time each day, was very polite, considerate, and cleaned up daily. His pricing is very competitive, and he had no hidden fees. My wife and I highly recommend Ryan for all your electrical needs! He will be my only electrician I can trust for the years ahead!

I scheduled a day and time for them to come out and when they had to reschedule, they did it in enough time (3 days) for me to also reschedule my work. Ryan let me know when he was 30 minutes out from my residence which gave me enough time to be ready. Ryan was very professional and attentive to what work I wanted to have done. He was thorough in checking out the devices/receptacles I need work on. He sat done with me and gave me a quote and explained the reasoning behind the quote. I had him replace an outside floodlight on the 2nd story eave. He was fast, thorough, and efficient in that replacement. Particularly when he was analyzing issues that I reported, and his in depth answers and suggestions for sensible additional features, like installing a dedicated 4pin outlet so my generator could be hooked up into the breaker panel and actually power the whole house without running multiple extension cords. He is very thorough, chose state of the art new parts, like hot-swappable breakers.He loves what he does and gives great customer service!

Had a whole bunch of miscellaneous electrical work to be done at my house. Bad GFCIs, lighting fixtures to wire and install, new outlets to install, outlets that just didnt work, and so on. Ryan showed up for a quoting appointment on time (with a heads up, Im on my way call beforehand, which I like). After quoting the work, he was able to get to work right away. Finished two days later! Ryan was a pleasure to work with: professional, but friendly; and knowledgeable, but willing to explain all the details in a language I could understand. His pricing seemed fair, and he discounted some of the work because of the volume of the tasks at hand. He also made recommendations for solutions to problems that I hadnt thought of. This was a repeat call. ryan came out for a small job post drywall being installed. i used knightly again because of intrgrity. ryan made a mistake the first time, but owned up to it and reduced the cost as a result. he didnt try to make an excuse and did right by me. on the april 4th visit, he even pointed out some work i could do instead of having him do it. while his services are not cheap, he does price fairly and doesnt try to screw you over. for me, he represents the kind of contractor i would recommend to a relative or a good friend. i will use knightly services for any electrical work i am not familiar with and always recommend him.Andrew

Ryan did a great job and was a pleasure to work with. We had him do a 2nd story chandelier, a cathedral ceiling fan replacement and 2 other smaller fixtures elsewhere in the house. We couldnt be happier with the new fixtures! Everything about the process was easy and his prices are fair. I would definitely go back to him for additional work.

I can not say enough good things about Knightly Electrical Services. My Father-in-law had the outlet for his refrigerator suddenly go dead. Ryan was able to trace the circuit upstream to locate the faulty plug in wiring connection in another outlet, breaking the circuit. The fix was to replace / rewire the faulty outlet. He provided an estimate for the diagnosis (his time on-site to isolate the fault), and a separate estimate to replace the faulty outlet, and a comprehensive estimate to replace all outlets in the home (citing that this was an age related problem with the push in connect outlets made 25+ years ago, and that other outlets are likely to fail in the future). We chose to pay just for the diagnosis, as changing out the outlets was within our capability set. Ryan was prompt, polite and very professional. I would not hesitate to contact him in the future when in need of a qualified electrician.

I have recently purchased a home built in the late 80s. One thing that need attention was replacing the attic stairs.
