Calling John with 8thirty electric, Inc to fix my electrical problems in my 5 year old house was a great decision. I had a problem with my dishwasher turning on and off. I also had some other minor problems with wiring in my house and John exchanged my fuses and fixed a couple amateur wiring jobs done by the prior owners. I appreciated that he gave detailed explanations to everything he did so that I actually learned a lot of things. An other bonus is that John charged half the price than other businesses. John also charged fairly according to the time he spent on the job.

At 5:30 PM on a Monday, I found myself in urgent need of an electrician. I reached out to 8Thirty Electrical, the only 24-hour electrician service in Alpharetta. By6:38 PM, John was at my door and immediately got to work. His professionalism was unmatched by any other tradesman Ive had in my home, truly setting a higher standard. The issue was complex—a direct electrical short. However, with his tools and knowledge, John quickly pinpointed and fixed the problem. We hired 8Thirty Electric based on the numerous positive reviews we saw on Nextdoor. During our initial walk through, John clearly understood what issues I had and proposed a solution that I was happy with and that was very reasonably priced. On our scheduled service day, John arrived early and quickly got to work. He was very professional and kind, explaining what he was going to do in great detail so I would know what to expect. There was a minor issue that presented itself, but John was able to effectively troubleshoot and find a work around. I would highly recommend 8Thirty Electric and they will be my go-to for anything electrical related moving forward.

Highly, highly recommend 8 Thirty Electric!!! I needed an EV plug installed in my garage. I originally got a quote from one of the big electric companies but was shocked at the cost they quoted. My husband ended up finding 8Thirty Electric through a Google search to get another quote. Setting up a consultation visit was very easy and they were so accommodating with our schedule. They also gave us a specific time for our appointment which was a refreshing departure from the usual we will be there between time x and y. Then when it came to the actual appointment day, John showed up on time. He was so professional and personable. He was quick but thorough and gave us options to solve our problem that saved us so much money. Though we had 2 other local companies lined up to come give us a quote, we knew 8Thirty Electric was the one we wanted to work with so we booked an appointment for John to install our EV plug. We were given a specific time for the install and again John showed up on time on install day. We requested he install the plug 15 ft from the electrical panel so he had to cut through dry wall to do so. He was very meticulous and neat with the cuts he made and placed everything back just as neatly so the drywall repair would be easy. He installed the EV plug in no time and cleaned up afterwards. It had to be over 98 degrees in our garage but John plugged away all with a smile and cheery disposition. My husband and I are so impressed with 8Thirty Electric and recommend them to anyone in need of electric work. We are so glad we came across them and are happy we were able to support a local small business. We will definitely be calling 8Thirty Electric for all our future electrical needs. The friendly individual who answered the phone and scheduled me for same day service was amazing. Found out later it’s his lovely wife!We needed our new oven/microwave wired properly and were so grateful he came over when our contractor was there to make sure everything went smoothly taking the old one out and installing the new one.Great service and pricing…will definitely use them again!!

Loved 8Thirty. John was on time and very professional. He found multiple problems that have been there since our house was constructed 20+ years ago. Electricity went out in 2 of our rooms last week. He found a faulty socket that had a fire apparently last week which caused the problem. He found another socket that was not grounded. He did a great job and explained everything along the way.
