We started having issues with our heat and finally called Atlas for an inspection. Ethan, initially came out and did the inspection. After having this unit for 22 years, we determined it was time to replace. Before he left he did repairs to get buy unit the new unit arrived. By late afternoon we received confirmation that the unit was available and would be installed the next day. Noah and Levi arrived at the time we had been told to expect them. They went right to work and in about 4 hours the install was completed and the work area cleaned. We went over the paperwork for the warranty and we were instructed on the new thermostat.These guys were very respectful of our home and worked in a professional manner. I do not hesitate to give Atlas Home Service a 5 star rating and would recommend them to my friends and family

Herman came to start up, system check, and give us a tutorial on our newly installed generator the day before a hurricane was set to hit our area and possibly his home area as well. He had already had a long morning with two clients remaining after us. Nevertheless, he took the time to be extremely thorough and professional, answering all of our questions as if we were the only clients he had for the day. We have been impressed with Atlas from day one.

Got our Cummins Standby generator installed at our home. Have to say the two installers, Kade and Levi, were on time and professional throughout the process. From Mr. Keith at the initial visit, to Mr. Justin and Ms. Trina for the financing, to Mr. Kevin for the sales paperwork, to Ms. Frankie and Ms. Magan for scheduling and permitting, to Kade and Levi at the actual install. We cant say enough about how pleased weve been with the process. From start to finish, Atlas has proven they take the service in customer service seriously.

Not one Generac certified dealer in the Lafayette Parish area would come out to give me a quote or do an installation. Generac contacted Atlas Home Services out of Alexandria, La. From the quote to install was painless for me because how professional their representatives are. Atlas Home Service came out and installed my Generac 22kw generator. The team of Levi, Jerimiah, and Marcus arrived on time and immediately began working on the install. All three of these young men were very professional, polite, and respectful. Levi explained everything to me step by step and showed me what I needed to do. I can honestly say my home was in good capable hands. These guys treated my home as if it was theirs. We recently had to have our inside and outside unit replaced. Also our ducts need replacement and two new ones installed. We called for them to come look at our old unit and it resulted in replacement. They came out the next day to replace everything in one day. Levi and Kenny did a great job installing our Kohler Generator. Levi was very knowledgeable about our system and how it works. He did a great job making sure we understood how to use our system. Theses gentleman were professional and very respectful. They worked side by side with our propane company to make sure everything was good to go. Unit worked really good as our lights went out this very night for a short time. Generator kicked in within 6 seconds and when lights come back on generator kicked off. Thank you all for getting us up and running before any hurricanes.

From the get-go, I knew Atlas was the place that was gonna get my business from the minute I called. I was greeted by the most professional sounding young lady named Tori. She was very helpful with answering all the questions that I had. She actually recommended a few services to me that I did not know that you provided and I gladly went with it. Definitely one of the most professional people I have had the opportunity to speak to. They gentleman that came to my home were very nice and professional as well. I believe it was Noah and Garret. They were very quick and were working hard on my install. It had also been rainy weather the day before and they even put on little shoe covers so they did not track any dirt or mud into my home. Who else does this?? it was a very professionally mannered thing to do! Atlas really knows how to treat their customers!

Absolutely the best place to get a stand-by generator and window screens. Ordered a Kohler 30k and was told it would be sometime before we got it delivered, came about 6 months faster than everyone expected. The guys came out and did a fantastic job installing the generator and were some of the nicest friendliest I’ve seen in a while. Ordered screens for the windows and turned exceeded expectations. The gentleman that installed the screens was quick and friendly. Everyone even cleaned up after themselves. It was no hassle from the time my wife and I walked in the door to getting everything we ordered.

6/18/22I called late Saturday night and received 2 call backs immediately after leaving a message. Noah was at my home the very next morning checking my ac system, took his time and thoroughly checked everything. He found several things that needed repaired. He also gave me several options and is going to research more options before I settle with whats best for me at this time in my budget, unlike a previous company who came and after 5 minutes told me a needed an entire new system. Im looking forward to hearing from him soon and trust he will help me the best he can. Will update review once the service is completed.Update 6/23/22Unfortunately my ac unit is over 20 years old so the parts are no longer available to fix. He found the freon that is needed (but more expensive) and put that in today. My home is cooling down more than it was before so, Im hopeful to make it through the summer. My aging a/c unit had been limping along for the past few summers, with the help of recharging, and finally this year, I was able to shop for a replacement. After attempting to obtain quotes from 2 local, well-known companies, and one private handyman, I was very frustrated with one no-show after another. One company in particular failed to even bother to return a call as promised to setup the appointment, and said they forgot after cancelling twice! Not a good sign. So, I kept looking and finally in the list, realized I hadn’t called Atlas Cooling, and after investigation, they had great reviews from previous customers, so I gave them a call on a Friday. That very next morning Keith was at my home, on his busy Saturday, running a diagnostic, and answering my questions. Throughout the entire process, he explained everything I never knew about air conditioning systems, and helped guide me to the unit that was right for our home. There were no used car salesman tactics, and decided to go with a variable speed air handler. Before he left, he even charged my old unit, so it would keep me cool until they were able to get back and get the new one installed. They were right back on Monday to begin removing the old unit, and working on the construction portion of the project. Going up to a larger unit meant rearranging the closet and intake, which they did. Atlas provided an extremely fast response, very fair pricing, and professionalism all the way around. Just truly exceptional service which is growing rarer all the time it seems. Highly recommend Atlas, and will to anyone that needs a/c services!

Excellent Service! It all started with Frankie and Magan. When we called, they were very friendly while setting up our appointment. They told us that Mr. Keith would be over the next week to give us a quote on a Mini-Split Unit. WOW, that was fast! When Mr. Keith came, he was so down to earth. He explained everything and wasnt in a hurry. He walked around the house giving me all the details. He then came in and gave us a quote. What really shocked us was that he came on a Tuesday and told us that his crew would be here on Thursday to install our units. Now that was FAST service! Noah, Kade, Levi and Kenn came on time just like we were told. They were all very friendly and took their job seriously. At the end of the day, our Mini-Split was installed. Thanks guys! Atlas is a VERY reliable company. We HIGHLY recommend them.

As always, Justin always assist me in any of my HVAC and generator concerns. I wanted to make sure that my generator was prepared for the tornado and thunderstorm weather that was coming my way. Justin notified Noah Holt to assist me. Noah was very professional and had excellent customer service skills. He kept in contact with me giving me updates on his arrival. Noah inspected the generator to make sure that it would work if the utilities went off. He instructed me when he would need to cut the utilities off to make sure the generator is in ready status. He gave me other instructions on the generator as well as assured me if there are any concerns that just give Atlas. I truly enjoy the wonderful experiences that I have encountered with the Atlas staff. Way to go, Atlas!

Id like to share a story about integrity and professionalism. Our home was a fire trap thanks to the faulty installation of a heating system that was completed by a local A/C contractor. They did not even bother getting the work inspected. Little did we know the danger that we were in. Some weeks later, Atlas Cooling was in our home to give us an estimate on some duct work. Keith looked around and gave us a price. A couple of days later he called us and explained that he knew something was wrong in the attic and had finally been able to pinpoint it. The heater was installed incorrectly which made it unsafe. He did not even try to get us to let him take the job to fix it. Instead, he provided guidance and knowledge to help us to get the issue resolved with the initial installer.When Atlas Cooling later came to do the duct job, his team (Micah, Garrett and Samuel) were extremely polite and friendly. They did a wonderful job AND cleaned up the work area when they were finished! We owe Keith a debt of gratitude for helping to remove the fire danger from our home and for doing such a great job on our work. Atlas has a customer for life. Integrity is everything!

I received a sky high electric bill and while trying to figure out why, discovered that my auxiliary heat was the only heat warming my house. I have a heat pump so I needed to find an HVAC technician fast. After searching Google and giving a couple of other companies a call, and leaving messages, I gave Atlas Heating and Cooling a call. They answered immediately and scheduled someone to come look at my unit later that same day. Within an hour and a half, I received a text message with a picture of the service technician who was heading my way. I also received a call from the office letting me know he was on his way. Not long after he arrived he had diagnosed the issue and gave me 6 different options to fix the issue. My wife and I decided to get a new unit installed (both condenser and air handler). Atlas worked with me on different finance options, until almost 5pm, and reopened their warehouse so a truck and trailer could be outfitted with new equipment for me. The installation technicians came to install the new system the very next day, in the rain no less!! They arrived promptly at the time promised, were very courteous, and went straight to work. Less than 24 hours after I called Atlas Heating and Cooling, they had diagnosed the issue at hand, and installed a new system. I could not be happier with the prompt, knowledgeable and friendly service provided! I would recommend Atlas Heating and Cooling to anyone looking for a reliable company to handle their heating and air conditioning needs!!

Levi and James installed a 20 Kw Kohler standby generator at my home on 5/31/2022. I watched the entire installation from start to finish. In this day and time, it was refreshing to witness such a fine-tuned team at work. Neither was overbearing on the other. They were very professional and well disciplined. When issues were encountered, they put their heads together and quickly came up with a reasonable and effective solution. They were very meticulous with every measurement and adjustment. The entire installation is absolutely flawless. The only item left open was beyond their control. The dirt dug out of the trench wasnt enough when it was back filled. They are scheduled to return on 2 June with dirt to fill the trench in my lawn. Otherwise, the installation was outstanding.

I cant say enough of their professionalism and work ethic. I can admit it took a bite out of the pocket but it was necessary. Due to unforeseen issues, they had to keep returning to my home for several weeks, but they made sure the situation was handled at the end. Justin went as far as giving us his cell phone to contact him day or night. He personally came with his coworker to finish the work. He also called a week later to make sure the unit was properly running. I cant remember all the HVAC techs who came to work on the unit, but they were all so nice and polite. It is nice to receive a text with their photos prior to them arriving ar your home. Even the young lady at the office was helpful with our needs. I definitely appreciate having some nice cold air now!

Fast, friendly, and professional. My AC started acting up on Friday, July 3rd, just as the recent heatwave was setting in. I figured I was in for a long, hot weekend but called my home warranty company. With luck, they assigned my call to Atlas and Keith was at my house in Lafayette in under an hour! He quickly diagnosed the problem, clearly explained to me the issues, and rapidly helped me arrive at the right solution. The next Tuesday, Michah, Sammy, and Daniel were promptly at my door installing a new evaporative coil and condenser unit. They came prepared and ready to work and rapidly knocked out a large job in just a few hours. They ensured everything was working properly before leaving with everything but the new equipment. The cleanliness of the work site was appreciated. All in all, the professionalism of the Atlas team from start to finish helped me keep my cool despite the frustration of a broken AC in the heat. I highly recommend Atlas for future repairs and hope my home warranty company will send them again, if ever needed.

I had an issue where in my apartment my air conditioning was not blowing cool air, and the maintenance tech on apartment property could not fix the problem for months. Over the weekend I researched reviews at the top 10 air conditioning companies in central Louisiana and Atlas Cooling came up and I was amazed by the reviews and stepped out on faith to try them. Brittany S. called me. She was very pleasant and very helpful and wanted to assure me I was in good hands with the choice i made contacting Atlas. She managed to schedule an appointment window for Keith L to come out and get a look at the problem. She emailed information about who was performing the service and if I had any questions I could call. Keith arrived on time in the window suggested and went to work looking at the problem. He is very knowledgeable in his job and it was very easy to understand, he even went the extra mile fixing what the maintenance tech neglected on top of my roof and to me, that shows attention to detail. Keith did a follow up call to see how things went with repairs which I though really shows he takes pride in his service and customers get the best help. I would definitely recommend Atlas Cooling to anyone out there looking for AC repairs,etc. Thank you for helping me get to the root of the issue, hopefully it will be soon resolved!!

Our heat died on the night of the worst Louisiana winter in 30+ years. No one was opened Monday so we tried again on Tuesday, calling some local businesses in desperation. We had used another local company two years ago and they were unprofessional and unreliable. Atlas was incredible! They were trying to get their people out on service calls, despite so many roads being closed. We hit the jackpot with Atlas, and their HVac Tech- Josh. Josh kept us updated on his way to our house and arrived quicker than we couldve imagined. He crawl into our tiny attic crawl space and was down within 5 minutes, with a picture of our problem (a burnt to crisp wire). He then grabbed a few things from the truck and back up he went. The whole process took maybe 15 minutes and it definitely fixed the issue. If you’re needing HVAC help/maintenance, Atlas is the place to call!! We were having trouble with our unit not cooling, we knew it was old and eventually would need replacing, but tried to bandaid it as long as we could with another company who continued to give us the run around. On a Wednesday, I got intouch with Frankie about getting someone out to inspect it and give us options to fix it and she was on it! Within 2 hours, someone was there, not to mention it was after hours. It ultimately came down to us having to get a new unit, inside and out. They were able to schedule it for two days later! Friday morning Kenny and another guy showed up on time, and began to work, and had everything done by the afternoon! My fur babies also got some attention from Kenny, they were eating it up! I definitely recommend Atlas to anyone who is looking!

I had a great experience with Atlas. My wife and I had just purchased our first home, and wouldn’t you know it, the furnace was original to the house and the other components were from three different decades (but it had passed multiple inspections and until the coolest days of winter had no issues). YIKES! I had called a few local companies in Lafayette and asked them to come and give it a look to see if it could be serviced/revived and to give a bid to see if it could be replaced. Of course, everyone said “yeah, its DOA” and the bids ranged from a few thousand dollars to a couple of tens of thousands of dollars- in fact as much money as we had put in for our down payment. Fortunately, I remembered that we had received a home warranty as part of our purchase. I called the home warranty company, Old Republic Home Protection, and after sending out some people, they settled on contracting with Atlas Cooling. AM I GLAD THEY DID!!! From every service contractor and company, these guys were the best! I had learned a lot concerning furnaces and AC units from the previous contractors as well as the internet, and from all of them, Keith the lead service technician, was the only one who was able to bring all the information into focus. He earned my trust by being knowledgeable and down to earth without ever being salesy. In addition, he got my DOA unit to run safely until they could schedule a replacement. Keith, along with his assistants, Garrett and Micah, did a fantastic job. I would also like to give a shout out to their office coordinator, Hannah, who was very pleasant, easy to understand over the phone, and was able to coordinate everything quickly and efficiently. They were always on time and always called ahead. They didn’t try to sell me a line of BS or over sell their services. And to be honest, I personally have no problem with leaving these guys to their work if I could not be in my home at the same time. On top of that they were pleasantly conversational. I am very grateful to my home warranty company, Old Republic Home Protection, and even more so to the outstanding service by the guys from Atlas Cooling.

My mother lives alone and i love the fact that the texted her a photo to let her know who would be arriving from Atlas.Keith called my from my mothers living room at 1PM to explain what my options were. It took nearly two weeks to get the system to cool without it failing, but it ran constantly and never made it to the set temperature. Oh, theres more to add, but Ill move on.So, I called Atlas for a maintenance check since it was clear something was still wrong with the AC. Atlas pointed out several things I already knew and some things I didn’t know. The most important thing was that the condenser was incorrect for the internal unit, which is why it never worked after installation. Atlas made it all right. Levi, Julian, and Jacob were great, very professional, and very friendly gentlemen. They were very efficient and thorough, and the final results reflect this. I appreciate all the hard work each of them did.
