Theres no need to contact any other electrician after working with Doug! Theres also a reason he has so many great reviews...Hes personal, punctual, extremely knowledgeable and very efficient!I originally contracted him to run power out to a garage door I had installed in the back of my house- he came over, I explained my plan, he gave me the run down on what I needed and he wrapped up everything seamlessly. I was so impressed that I already have another project hes going to help with.Dougs the guy you want if you want honesty and professionalism!

Great experience! I called AES for assistance installing two wall sconces after being rather disappointed by a popular company in this area. Doug came out the same day to give me an estimate for the work and came back later in the week to do the work. He and his assistant (apprentice?) were very respectful of my time and my home and did a top notch job! Im so pleased with their professionalism that I recommended them to a neighbor who has been considering having lighting added to her home, and I am looking forward to calling on Doug for my next electrical projects. Thank-you for a wonderful experience!

I contacted AES this weekend after losing power to a furnace. Doug came out within two hours of my call. He was professional and patient as he had to do quite a bit of work to find our problem. He was able to provide us with a solution that brought power back to the furnace and restored our heat. The price was reasonable considering we have an older home and his service and communication were both top notch. We highly recommend.

Doug did 2 different jobs for me this year so far: outdoor ceiling fan installation and most recently relocating an electrical box that was not centered for a new vanity light. He worked quickly and did a great job both times. Hes very responsive to setup a time. I will use him for all future electrical work.

Doug did a great job of installing my security light/cam. He communicated in advance, was on time, and installed the system quickly. He cleaned up everything once done. He was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend him for electrical work. He will be the person I call whenever I need an electrician in the future.

I had 2 plugs in 2 rooms that burned out. David fixed them really quickly, in less than an hour. He also showed me that one of them was arcing and was dangerous. Now I know not to wait this long if this happens again. But he also advised me on what to do to avoid this problem in the future. Im very happy with his service.

Very pleased with the quality and service of work! Doug is very responsive and professional. He came on time as scheduled and followed the CDC guidelines to wear a mask. I had three ring products installed and two fan light fixture worked on. He was able to quickly complete the task. He is definitely some one you can rely to get the job done. I recently purchased an electric car, and needed to install an outlet in my carport to charge it while home. Doug came over the same day and offered an outstanding quote, well below the recommended guys, and was available to conduct the install only a few days later!On the day of the appointment, he contacted me, let me know some of the things that would be happening, and his assistant arrived on time and began work immediately. They did the work professionally, working in the rain and cold, and finished much quicker than they originally anticipated. I was very pleased with this experience.The quality of the work is top notch, and it works as well as advertised.The finished product may just be a large plug on the outside of my house, but to me, it was the start of freedom from gas stations and a new level of convenience. Dougs work and dedication to completing a professional installation no matter the conditions helped make that happen for me. I cannot say enough about how refreshing it was to interact with this friendly, polite professional!

I was freaking out because a felled outdoor lantern was flaring and sparking and I was scared that a fire would be imminent. I must have called 10 electricians and could not get one to come the same day, if even on the phone! Douglas heard the panic in my voice and made time to at least come and make sure I was safe between jobs. Im so glad he did! I have an old house with some wonky circuits and will call him for future jobs, knowing my safety is his priority.

Ancient Electrical Services was recommended to me by a close friend and Im forever grateful. The quality of workmanship and professionalism is something not often seen in contractors. I hired Ancient Electrical Services for a pretty substantial job so if you are concerned whether they can handle large jobs, they absolutely can. And even better, he communicates any concerns and sticks to the timeline given which matters significantly when you are trying to move into a house. We had a full system upgrade (easily passed inspection), recessed lighting installed (40+ lights), and because the kitchen was demod, he also relocated several outlets. He also installed our Nest doorbell, Nest outdoor cameras, installed shower and closet lights, ceiling fans, chandeliers, and deck lighting. You name it, we had it done. Were actually calling him back to install our wired Nest smoke/CO2 detectors as well. Im a pretty particular person, but Doug hit all the marks with flying colors. He is licensed, honest, precise, detail-oriented, and does the job right the first time; everything you want in an electrician. Unlike other contractors, I didnt have to worry about looking over his shoulder to check his work because he proved he would do a great job whether we were watching or not. And I was never concerned whether we were being charged a fare rate or being nickled-and-dimed. I felt we got a great price for the value. In addition to his professionalism, Doug has a great demeanor about him. Hes personable and looked out for our home on several occasions (we had other contractors working in the house and they were far less reliable or considerate when it came to their workmanship). Overall, highly highly recommended. You wont be disappointed.
