This is the third time we have had to call on Tom Kris and Sons for an emergency downstairs in our basement. Turns out our cast iron pipes underneath the slab finally let go and it rendered our kitchen and washing machine out of service. It ended up turning into a huge job but TK & Sons moved heaven and earth to get us fixed the right way and our house back in order. It’s no fun when things go wrong but we’re happy to have them close by to ensure we get good honest advice and repairs.

The service technician, Brandon, arrived within estimated time-frame, was respectful and clean. He completed the task of clearing a bathroom drain pipe clog in a timely manner. More info from the office on my initial contact to understand basic service call costs, hourly rates and that each work item, requested by me, requires an individual work-up of cost instead of a flat hourly service rate for all work would have helped prevent on the spot decision-making. The hourly work rate is higher than other plumbing services but TK & Sons provided excellent on-site service and the office kept me up-to-date about the service call. I certainly will keep their business card handy.

I have been using TomKris Plumbing since 2019 and recommend them to all my friends and neighbors. Great plumbers and wonderful service! I would give them more stars if I could. The only problem is that theyre so good, theres a bit of a wait. The one time I didnt wait and used a different plumber, I was immensely disappointed. Theyre worth the wait!

We had a great experience with TK and Sons, with Maggie in the front office and also Garrett and the other technician who came out to fix our water heater. I originally had another plumbing company, with a very high google star rating, come out and they told me I needed a new water heater and a range of other repairs which would have cost thousands of dollars. I called TK Sons for a 2nd opinion, and I’m very glad I did. Garrett was quick to diagnose that a small part on the water heater was the source of the leak and that the thermal expansion tank was bad, the water heater didn’t need replacement. Garrett even called Rheem and sat on hold with them to see if we could get any of the work covered under the water heater warranty, without me asking him to do so. I feel like that is above and beyond service, and I really appreciated that. They repaired everything within an hour or two, the work looks great, and they saved me a lot of money. I will definitely use them again for any of my future plumbing issues

The repair on my toilet was excellent. The Eco Quantum dual flush pressure tank was leaking water and pressure in two places. The tank was ordered and installed and now functions perfectly. I was advised of the repair choices of replacing the toilet with a regular flush system, replacing the toilet with a pressure flush system from another company or replacing the pressure tank assembly in my existing toilet and given the cost of each. The toilet I have was fifteen year old and had always performed well until the tank started leaking. I opted to replace the tank which they ordered and when it arrived they completed the installation in one hour at a cost savings of about $300.00. The plumbers doing the work were very well versed in the equipment and efficiently completed the work and left the bathroom spotless. The service call and the completion call were on time.

Very pleasant, very skilled.They are also taking care of a manufacturer warranty that is slipping through the cracks, and stepping it up to the next level to take care of me.So far Ive had a kitchen faucet installed, brand new water heater in a new location, recirculating pump so that I get hot water from the tops immediately instead of waiting, a new line of plumbing runs so that I can use the icemaker and water in a new refrigerator. Very friendly and professional from the initial call to completion. Tom Kris and Sons installed a pressure relief valve and expansion tank on my water heater. The invoice was the same as initially quoted and very reasonable! The guys doing our work were very careful not to damage my home while working in a very confined space. You cant tell they were even here! They put everything back exactly as they found it. I had several individual issues that all hit at once from a toilet that wouldnt stop running, a faulty pressure reducing valve, a broken thermal expansion tank on my hot water heater, and a broken garbage disposal. The pressure reducing valve was giving off lots of mixed messages, and Garrett, one of the sons of Tom Kris & Sons, was determined to make sure every avenue was researched to the fullest and make sure everything was handled properly and efficiently. I am having my kitchen remodeled and noticed a few pinhole leaks in my copper. I decided to go down the path of replacing my copper piping for the whole house. From the very beginning they were very honest about what needed to be done and gave a very fair estimate of the whole house repipe. I was also concerned about the cold water and hot water running through the slab and asked about eliminating any copper in the slab. They gave me multiple options including the best one which was running a new water line into the house right by the hot water tank. All of the plumbers were very knowledgeable and professional when cutting out the drywall etc. They also were able to answer all of questions and concerns promptly. I am so happy that I ran a new water line to the house as the water pressure has improved immensely. I would highly recommend this company for anyone considering repiping their home. 5 star service.

The service was great from beginning to end of the installation process. They were very careful on taking out the old water heater, and installing the new water heater.
