The entire process went so smoothly that I can’t believe it’s done! Mike Mendivil, Miguel and Ruben made it happen. I had been dealing with an extremely noisy A/C unit. I talked with Mike about it and he presented to me information on the units suitable for our home. Within a few days, the entire system was removed and replaced with a system so quiet that I dont realize it’s on most of the time. I love it! Our home is comfortable and quiet. I highly recommend Mike Mendivil, Miguel and Ruben. They listened to what I wanted and worked to make it happen, the greatest team! Choose them and you won’t be disappointed

Great, fast service. Mike Mendivil made sure I had the best fit for my needs, and was quick to answer my questions. My new unit was efficiently installed my Miguel and Ruben. They worked so hard in the heat, to make sure I was cool again fast. Nancy at the office was a pleasure to deal with also, making sure I had the thermostat I wanted. Hansberger may be a large company, but they treat you like family. I would gladly do business with them again.

Hansburger is a hidden gem in Yuma and they did such a fantastic job with our AC replacement. The sales representative, Mike, who came to our home and was courteous, polite, and patiently/thoroughly answered all of the questions we had about replacing our units/reworking our AC ductwork to improve airflow in certain parts of our home.I’m incredibly thankful that Hansberger was referred to me by word-of-mouth since I initially didn’t find them when searching online for “ac replacement” companies.After receiving quotes from multiple companies, we ultimately went with Hansburger. While it wasn’t the most inexpensive quote we received, we felt like it provided more value than other companies were offering. There were no “free services” offered as leverage to offset the cost of the entire system replacement, it didn’t feel like I was being pressured into purchasing anything other than what I initially was asking for, and I didn’t feel like I had a “yes man” here saying anything/everything was possible… we really appreciated that. What we ended up paying for is exactly what we wanted. The installation crew, Miguel, Anthony & Ruben, installed two 4 ton, energy efficient air conditioner units, improved insulation around the AC intake, and improvement of airflow in our home and they more than exceeded our expectations!Our unit was replaced about a month back and I waited to post this review because I was curious to see if these units truly were more energy efficient than the older units that were on our home when we purchased it. I am very happy to say that our APS bill is already half the price of what it used to be and I couldn’t be happier that we are now Hansberger customers! (i’ve attached the before and after photos of the two units they replaced. The work is absolutely beautiful and seamless.)

It became apparent to me I needed a new A/C system. My old one was 15 years old and lost most of its efficiency. I decided on Hansberger due to their high Google rating and their many years of service in Yuma. The entire process was painless and a great learning experience. I first met with a very nice Nicklaus who referred me to a professional and knowledgable Albert who thoroughly inspected my home and walked me through several system options that would be the best fit for my home. I chose one and about two weeks later the system was installed. The installers: Ivan, Rueben and Miguel took about one and a half days to install the system. It was an inconvenience but well worth it. A temporary A/C unit was used to cool one room during the installation and that made it much more bearable. The three installers were hard working, very professional, knowledgeable and went every extra mile for me. It was an enjoyable experience having them in my home. They were funny and relaxed while they played some awesome jams from my generation’s music. It was quickly apparent that they truly loved and enjoyed their work and that enjoyment trickled out to my girlfriend and I. Their extreme attention to detail in all facets of the installation is noteworthy. I very highly recommend Hansberger for your next A/C installation.

We are very please with the technician who fixed our AC. Cam was very polite and professional. Even though it was scorching hot, Cam and his partner were up on the roof working away on the AC. Both Cam and his partner worked diligently to make sure the AC was running and working properly. We are back in our house, enjoying the cool air again! Ive been a satisfied customer of Hansberger Refrigeration and Electric for several years now. I was, and still to this day, happy with the installation they did on our mini split. Their yearly service scheduling process is incredibly convenient, making it easy to keep my HVAC system running smoothly. The customer service team is always friendly and helpful, addressing my questions and concerns promptly.During my recent service visit, the technician arrived right on time and conducted a thorough evaluation of my system. I mentioned that the motor on one of my units had been making unusual noises. The technician greased the bearings, which helped to reduce the noise somewhat.While I was initially pleased with the service, I unfortunately had to call Hansberger back a few days later because the noise persisted. I was charged a $60 diagnostic fee, which I found to be a bit disappointing. I believe that this issue should have been identified and addressed during the initial service visit especially since I pointed it out to the technician upon arrival.Despite this minor setback, I would still recommend Hansberger Refrigeration and Electric. We just had a new heat pump installed by Hansberger. The agent we dealt with was Mike Mendivil . He was very thorough in explaining our options for the unit we purchased as well as financing options. As we made our decisions, he filled out the paperwork, got our financing approved on the spot. Our installers were Anthony and Ivan. They are courteous and efficient. They appear to know what they are doing and dont mess around. Our old heat pump had a hard time keeping the house comfortable and in fact couldnt cool the house and sounded almost like a train going by. The new Lennox is super quiet and cools the house to whatever we desire very quickly. I am told the new one should be much more efficient (which it is) and will cost less to operate. Surprising to me is the fact that from our initial conversation until install completion was just over 2 days. These guys are amazing. Mike strikes me as the kind of guy I would enjoy talking to over a cold beer without any sales or business issues. Just a great experience overall and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of their services. Thanks guys!

Two summers ago my AC unit went out. It was so hot inside the house that it was actually cooler to sleep on the back porch. I had invested in a home warranty plan and paid for the upgrade with the understanding that the AC unit would be covered and that it would be replaced if/when it went out. Unfortunately the home warranty company found a way to not honor their warranty. Thankfully Mike Mendivil and his crew from Hansberger Refrigeration were available to take care of my immediate problem. Mike’s professionalism was apparent from the start. His crew worked quickly and efficiently. Not only did they replace the AC unit, they also fixed the ductwork. Now all of the rooms in my house are properly cooled. My house has never felt better. Also, whenever I have a question or concern I am always greeted quickly and professionally by their front office personnel. It is without reservation that I highly recommend Hansberger Refrigeration for all of your cooling needs.

Our AC went out and we tried going through our home warranty, that was a huge mistake. We finally got tired of waiting two weeks and called Hansberger. They sent a technician the next day and he was able to fix our AC that day. Lance was the technician and he was great. He communicated with us the whole time and was at our home for hours working in the blistering heat (in our attic) to get our AC working again. We truly appreciate him and Hansberger for getting our AC running again. Highly recommend them!

I highly recommend Hansberger Refrigeration. Michael Mendivil gave us our quote and explained our options. When we had questions for him, he was quick to answer them well and in a friendly way. They communicated well regarding what was to be done and when and what associated costs would be. They made the process very easy for us. When a problem was discovered regarding our electric box which required fixing for the job to be done correctly and safely and up to code, they communicated what the issues were did the job properly. They also honored the original quote even though they needed to invest much more time, labor and materials to the job. My AC died on Wednesday night and by Monday evening, Mike, Michael, and Ruben had installed a new heat pump and air handler. The service was excellent.In just a few hours, Mike prepared detailed bids on 10 different AC/heat pump/furnace/air handler combinations.Mike installed a temporary loaner single room AC in my bedroom on Sunday. Thats when we signed the contract. Early Monday morning, Michael and Ruben arrived with their crews to install the new units. Work was completed by 4 pm Monday ahead of a week of 100-degree temperatures.The Ecobee thermostat works like a charm. Mike followed up to tweak the installation with trim work inside & outside. Overall, the installation and appearance looks completely professional.I highly recommend Hansberger. I am completely happy with all the work they have done for me on the heat pump/air handler, a split unit for my garage and vent work.The attached picture shows the old gas furnace replaced with a new electric air handler.

I had an entire new split unit installed, Mike was our first contact and he talked to my husband and I and explained what we would get with a quote. Answered all of our questions and was helpful. All of the installment crew were professional and courteous. They explained what they would be doing and the steps they would take to complete it. In two days they completed the entire job, just like the said they would, they always arrived on time and let me know when they were done for the day. They made sure nothing in my home was damaged and they were careful to make sure everything worked properly. I decided to go with Hansberger’s due to their reviews and the years of experience they displayed, I am happy to say I was not disappointed. Victor was quick and thorough. Hansberger’s usually is, thank goodness!I was shocked when my bill was over a thousand dollars I was told they would add a 2.5% up charge. Why? Waiting for someone to tell me. We have a maintenance program for the A/Cs on the house and have been doing business with them for quite a few years. I paid the bill down below $1000 so I wouldn’t have to pay the up charge. Making me think twice.Hansberger is good but the up charge is not.

I received word from a different company a month back that Id need a new unit entirely since it was fairly old and that they dont make the parts anymore. Lance from Hansberger was able to come out the same day I called, and not only was he able to find the parts it needed, he had them already in the van ready to go. He didnt have to leave my property, finished quickly, and the cost ended up being 20% less than his initial estimate. Amazing work, fantastic service, highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Did a great job on my house installing new ac. Didn’t just recommend different units but also informed me of a tax credit that makes a top of the line unit basically cost the same as a lesser unit. Redid some ducting, sheet metal, etc to make the whole system work better. Also got me hooked up with better air filters that work better all around. Very courteous and professional. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

Our twenty-five-year-old rooftop HVAC unit failed. Mike and the team of installers, Ruben, Miguel, and Anthony were extremely professional from start to finish. The installers arrived on time to set up and begin working on the removal of the attic, hallway, and roof equipment. Two and a half hours later the crane arrived, placed the new unit, and removed the old unit from the roof. We recently purchased a home in June, and have been having trouble getting cold air to all of the house. Our master bedroom and kitchen were not getting a 1/5 of the air pressure the rest of the home was getting. After an initial inspection, Mike came back and explained how the unit was not getting enough air to circulate through the home. So he came up with a game plan and got to work. During the repairs a serious prior install error was found and fixed. The drain from the unit to the septic was not properly installed and was sucking back up the septic gas. After Ruben and Anthony finished the new air filter install and additional circulation vent, we did notice a substantial increase all around but not what we were expecting in the rooms that were lacking circulation. Mike came back and we decided to inspect the duct work, which definitely needed replacing. Mike and his team have been dedicated and through from the start. Mike even came back with spray paint to hide the white drain in the vent. Just goes to show how much they truly care about the quality of their work. The pricing was fair and honest, they went above and beyond our contract to make sure we are comfortable throughout our new home!! Thank you Hansberger!!

A few weeks ago our AC broke. It was close to 30 years old so I made the decision to get a new one. After have several other AC services give me quotes my family decided to go with Hansberger Refrig & Elec Co. Mike Mendivil answered all of are questions and schedules us with a new install. His team arrived and did a great job. Mike also stopped by to make sure the work was going as expected. So far the new system is great and overall the customer service has been great. I will say other companies did not take the time to answer questions and even evaluate the home properly. Value and customer service is the most important thing when making such a big purchase.

After getting several quotes and about two weeks of analyzing them all, I decided to go with Hansberger. Knowing that I am not the easiest customer to work with, I was very impressed with Mike M, one of Hansberger’s Comfort Advisors. I asked question after question as I did with all the reps that came out to quote , and Mike patiently and professionally answered each question. (Something that cannot be said for many of the companies that quoted.) After installation of the new A/C, Mike took care of registering my warranty with the manufacturer as well as submitting any rebates on my behalf that I was entitled to. Removal of old unit and installation of new unit went well and the installation came with Pearl Certification.I cannot yet rate/review the actual A/C unit being that it’s only been installed for about a week and for the fact I likely will not be using it until summer. I am looking forward to a lower utility bill thanks to the more efficient unit. I will follow up on this review at a later date on how the unit is doing after its been in service for a while as well as Hansberger’s after the sale customer service.

They arrived on time for an evaluation and estimate. They provided an honest, professional opinion on our AC. Have not received the estimate at the time of this review, but were knowledgeable and have been the only company to diagnose the issue.

Well I just got to say I first visited and had an estimate by the second largest heat pump repair facility in Yuma Arizona, and their quote was $250 higher than Hansberger. And I must say their technician was on top of it, he installed a new electronic boardI on a 20-year-old heat pump, so it was a wiring nightmare, the technician spent a couple of hours trying to figure it out, called for help Mark came to his assistance and fixed it in 20 minutes. Job well done I would never hesitate to call him again Great company great service excellent work. All is well and working perfectly.
