Jason and his crew completed a waterproofing project for our home. Jason was great to work with. He showed up the same day I called to provide a quote. His communication is very detailed and thorough. Prior to beginning work in the house Jason protected the stairs as well as sectioned off areas of the home to eliminate dust in other areas of the house. Jason also ran air scrubbers to help collect dust. He sent photos and updates during the process. The work that was completed was very neat and Jason is on site working. The work area was cleaned well upon completion of the work. I would highly recommend Jason!

Jason waterproofed our basement and answered so many questions we had about the process before, during, and even after. We’re not from a state where they have basements so we were pretty clueless. Jason is very knowledgeable and a hardworking guy. He doesn’t rush through a job just to get it done and you can tell he takes a lot of pride in the quality of his work. Most waterproofing companies will come into your home, find a drop of water, and then start pointing out everything that’s wrong with your home. They’ll tell you about the structural integrity being compromised, the hazards to you, your children, your pets, the neighborhood, that expired loaf of bread in the microwave with a little mold that you forgot about (you didn’t know, but that’s from moisture in the basement apparently 🙄), and if that doesn’t work, they’ll probably tell you that the future of mankind depends entirely upon your basement being waterproofed by them. Anything to make you pay any amount and sign on the dotted line right then and there. They’ve all got their gimmick, they’ve all got a reason they’re better than everyone else, and they’ll all tell you that they are only “there to help you”. Jason, from AB Drain, is the opposite of all these salesmen. Here’s how my experience went. Jason came over, looked over every inch of the basement, asked a lot of questions about the problem, the history, what was important to us, our plans post-waterproofing, etc. He then made a recommendation for 2 options with an emphasis on the more thorough one without applying pressure. I’m a “buy once, cry once” sort of person, so we went with the whole basement. Most companies will ballpark (overshoot) the price right there with massive margins so they can get a commitment before they leave. Jason said he would work up a quote during his office hours and send it over ASAP. And that’s exactly what happened. I had a quote later that night. The pricing is competitive, especially when you consider the following: pitched pipe runs so you have no standing water in the system (most don’t do this), sdr 35 for all runs (HIGH quality pipe), all personal items protected from dust, air cleaners and dust collection at every point, owner on site performing and/or inspecting the work every day, and a clean job site at the end of the day every time. The system is top tier. No gimmicks, just functional and proven materials and methods. You’ll never have a chance to wonder about anything because Jason is a skilled and reliable communicator. He made an extremely invasive project seem routine and unobtrusive.The bottom line is this, when you hire Jason, you will experience an open and honest line of communication, a clean and efficient worksite, care and respect for the home in which you live, and a killer end result. Do yourself a favor and go with Jason for waterproofing/drain/etc. projects. You’ll be glad you did.

Jason has an attention to detail that is hard to compete with. He stayed true to his quote, stayed in constant communication over everything. The scope or work was internal (basement) however many times I saw him surveying my entire property looking for any faults or challenges even outside of the scope of work. I waited a few weeks to post a review because I wanted to test the systems, and I can rest assured my basement is finally dry. Thank you AB Drains, Jason, for your hard work. I would recommend this business to anyone with a wet basement, that wants peace of mind with a lifetime transferable warranty that your basement will never be wet again. Im a believer that a business will triumph their competition overtime through merit and integrity, and AB Drains is an example of that. Well done.

I had Jason and his crew waterproof my basement by installing a drain tile system inside. Work was done in a timely and workmanlike manner at an affordable price. Jason and his crew were extremely knowledgeable and courteous of my needs as a customer. Customer service is a big deal for me and he, along with his crew, went above and beyond my expectations. He encountered a few problems throughout the job (at no fault of his own) but was able to correct those issues quickly and keep the job moving foward. When the work was done they cleaned up and left the place spotless! I would highly recommend his services to anyone. If I ever find myself needing anymore drainage issues resolved in future homes, I would not hesitate to have Jason and his crew back to resolve those for me. He was knowledgeable, conscientious and finished in a timely manner.He also returned to work on the job after he was paid.They didnt put things back or plant grass where disturbed, but Im not sure that that is supposed to be part of the job.Overall, Im very happy with Jason.

I was exceptionally impressed with the amount of care, thought and information given during the job. Not only did Jason correct my broken shutoff valve he helped me understand why I couldnt get the thing to stop leaking after I tried to DiY it. He went over and beyond to ensure my water line wont leak again.After some prior unfortunate experiences with plumbers, Im glad I found AB Drain and Construction. I plan to use them whenever I have future issues of any kind regarding the plumbing in my pretty old home. So it will probably be sooner than later. Jason is the man for the job !

Jason and his team were professional, courteous and simply wonderful. Jason explained all that would be done to waterproof my basement and address issues with downspout placement. He assessed and created a plan for the areas of concern and did not try to sell a whole basement or nothing contract which I greatly appreciated. I called Three different waterproofing companies when I realized I had an issue with my newly purchased house’s basement.Jason came to my house, performed a thorough inspection and provided me with a few different options. He also answered quite a few questions from both myself and my wife without pressuring us to move forward with one.After I had two additional companies provide me estimates, I decided to go with AB Drain. I was impressed with the multiple options and Jason’s time he spent to educate my wife/myself. As far as cost estimates - he was a shade above the least expensive.He started within a week of signing a contract and completed the job in approx a week. He was on site for almost the entire duration. I had downspouts replaced and a periferil french drain put in. Owner was on site for job. Explained what he was doing and kept me updated the whole time. Professional and knowledgeable. He cleaned up afterward leaving my yard ready for grass ro be planted. After the 1st rain I noticed a huge difference. No more water problems! Reasonably priced also. I would definately recommend AB Drain, if you want it done right!

Jason did a great job, the estimate was very reasonable and it made Ohio State Waterproofing look like a clear scam. I had two sumps put in and a bowing wall that was repaired with carbon fiber straps and poly injections. Jason and his crew took time to cover everything and keep cement dust under control as much as possible.They were local, honest, hard working guys. The team had good time management as well. At the end of the project, the crew took their time to clean and did a good job with it. The work came with a lifetime warranty thats also transferable to a future home owner.I highly recommend this company.

I would give you guys 10 stars if I could! As a single mother looking for a company to handle my moldy water infested basement honestly and being treated fairly not like an “easy target” was beyond frustrating until Jay showed up at my door within 2 days of me calling him. From the start he was very knowledgeable and explained what was wrong and how he could fix it. By this point I had 6 companies already at my house so I was somewhat familiar with the solutions he proposed. I actually impressed him once or twice ;). The next day I had his estimate in my email as promised. Their prices were the best by over $10,000!!!!!!!! I was hesitant because of how much lower his quote was but he said to trust him and his crew to deliver as promised. And deliver they did! It has poured over the last few weeks and not a drop. I used to get the worst anxiety whenever the weather man would call for rain but not now I can actually relax for once. He even removed all the moldy paneling and took it with them for free! I would recommend Jason at AB Drain and Construction to my own mother (which I actually did!). Sometimes the lowest price turns out to be the best value and that’s how America should be!!
