Update as of 11/2024: I cannot say enough good things and Dan and his company. They have seen in the inside of my basement laundry room more than my family and friends haha! He has replaced drywall in several areas due to water damage, repainted a concrete floor, and came to replace a water heater at 9 pm on a Monday night. Always fair pricing and always great work. Thank you again!4/2024: Daniel did an awesome job fixing the drywall in my basement! Had to rip out some drywall several years ago due to a downspout issue. The quote didn’t include paint but he threw it in anyway - so nice :). Extremely reasonable price, efficient, professional, and quick! Highly recommend and will be using Daniel’s services again!

I can’t say enough positive things about Daniel. I originally contracted him for a full bathroom remodel (which was a large job and he nailed). Through the course of that I added numerous other things to include; flooring and removal of an exterior door and subsequent siding and drywall repair. He did an amazing job on everything he had completed for me.The whole experience with Daniel was nothing but positive, professional, and the highest of quality work. Not only were the end products excellent, but more important to me process was seamless and pleasant. He truly treated my house as it was his own, taking care to seal off all work areas and to thoroughly clean at the end of each and every work day. Not to mention a full clean when the work was done. Dont hesitate call Daniel if you want it done right by an honest person. Replacing 2 shower/tub combos destroyed by renters. Received several large estimates from several different companies. Not one listened to what I was looking for or treated me as if I could understand what needed done. None really addressed the bigger problem that could be hidden underneath and basically just wanted to put a bandaid on it and get paid. I Was ready to give up when I accidentally came across Daniel. He responded quickly and came when he said he would. He was very respectful and patient. He listened to my concerns without interrupting, confirmed my suspicions and offered several different solutions for both projects. He was fast, efficient and so clean that I would not have known they were even there if it wasnt for my beautiful new tubs and all the extras he noticed needed fixed and was nice enough to fix while they were there. I even had another contractor who was fixing things in the kitchen tell me how polite and capable Daniel and his crew were. Again call you will be glad you did!

Let me just say, Daniels Home Improvement was the BEST experience I couldve wished for! Besides being very nice and friendly people, they have done fast and professional work in 3 days! They repaired all of our first floor ceiling drywall cracks and repainted it with a matching paint. We can’t express enough how thrilled we are with Daniel’s Home Improvement! Although our bathroom update was relatively small (new floor, vent fan/fix and repair ceiling cracks, and removal of baseboard heater/associated light switches), he made us feel important and was very quick to respond and schedule with us. He got it completed in one day, working longer than typical hours to finish the job. He worked with us on exactly what we were looking for and didn’t try to up-sell us with anything unnecessary. Working with Daniels Home Improvement was wonderful! We reached out to Daniel about issues with tile in our bathroom coming off the wall. He provided us with different options at various price points and was amazing at staying within our budget - so much so that we ended up doing a bit more than tile!Although we were nervous about picking up all of our own material (tiles, shower pan, grout, etc), Daniel was extremely receptive to text messages throughout the process. Once the project started, we felt included in every decision that had the possibility of customization (tile/bullnose pattern, placement of an exhaust fan, placement of soap holders, etc).Finishing up each day, Daniel and his team cleaned most of the area they were working in! At the end, a very small piece of tile was missing (understandably so, since it was under a sink vanity and could be easily missed). Daniel was VERY quick to work around our schedule and fix the issue within days.Overall, we would HIGHLY recommend Daniels Home Improvement. One of the better companies weve worked with!

It was an absolute pleasure working with Daniel. He came in looked at the job quoted the price and two days time to replace a fiberglass tub. He knocked it out the park! One full day of work and was out before noon on the second day! He was professional and on point all the way through. We chose Daniel after comparing reviews of his previous clients with those of other similar local area home improvement contractors. The scope of the project included the following.- Paint the entire place; walls, ceilings, interior doors, baseboards, moulding, and all other trim.- Replace moulded resin bathtub/shower in one BA with a new, wider tub, and tile the walls with 12X24 glossy porcelain tile.- Remove moulded resin standing shower in the 2nd BA and replace with porcelain tile walls and river stone shower floor.- Replace linoleum with non-slip 12X24 porcelain tile and install under floor heating in both bathrooms.- Replace toilets and sink vanities in both bathrooms.- Replace flat mirror in one bathroom with a recessed medicine cabinet.- Replace all wall-to-wall carpet with engineered maple, and the kitchen linoleum flooring with solid plank bamboo. All wood flooring was glued to the concrete slab.- Replace existing water heater with tankless gas water heater.- Install new, light fixtures, new exhaust fans, and new water fixtures in both bathrooms.- Install new light fixtures in kitchen and dining room.- Install ceramic tile kitchen backsplash.Much of the project was done very well, but there were some things that should have been done better.The main frustration was with the maple flooring. Although it appeared to be well installed, some of the boards came loose directly inside the front door. After they had been replaced with different glue, there were visible spots of glue residue on the flooring in several places. Daniel himself tried to remove them, but he found it impossible. Besides those spots, since we saw cloudy glue residue on nearly the entire floor, we talked about it and he agreed to return to try to remove the glue residue. He did have some success, however there are still many places left. Even a month and a half after completion of the renovation, we are still trying to remove the remaining residue. If the floor had been professionally installed at the time of placing the engineered floor materials, we wouldn’t have to spend this much time to restore the floor condition that we were supposed to have. Nobody wants to see residue stains right after the completion of renovation. Regardless, we’re trying to gradually remove them with the hope that someday we won’t see any residue on our brand new floor.Daniel told us near the completion of our project that they are skilled with laminated or LVP flooring, but not necessarily hard wood flooring. We wish he had told us BEFORE beginning the project. He concluded that the best solution would be replacing it with a floor specialist if we want to have real wood flooring.Other, less significant issues include the following.- A kitchen cupboard we had asked to be taken down and left for later use in the garage was discarded instead.- When tightening a sink mounting bolt, a small dent was put in the wall.- The light fixture in one bathroom was installed at an uneven angle.- When we adjust the shower valve to the faucet, water also comes out from the shower head.Although their paint work was excellent, their price was much more expensive. Daniel’s estimate for painting our garage was $850, but a professional painter’s quote was $650 under the same condition that we provide the paint. It seems like a big difference for the same room under the same conditions.As this was our first remodeling project, there were things that we didn’t have prior experience with or knowledge about. We learned quite a lot during the process. The tile work was exceptionally good. All of the tiles were even, correctly aligned, and all grout was evenly applied and properly sealed. All Daniel’s staff were hard workers and friendly.Overall, we were pleased with the results. More than likely, we would hire them again except for any kind of flooring work. In that case, we would ask deliberate questions to better understand the specific strengths and weaknesses of Daniel’s team since people expect their professionalism.

Drywall replacement in the corner of basement bathroom due to water damage from a plumbing leak upstairs.(already repaired). Very quick response to my call. Estimate for replacement was surprisingly low. On the second day the seam sealant wasnt dry enough to paint. Daniel set up a heater and went off to another job but returned after 6pm to finish! He didnt want to let me down.

Daniel and his team did an excellent job! We had a crack in our tile that caused a leak into our living room, which was obviously an issue. Rather than simply putting a patch on the problem, we opted to replace the shower and determine if the leak caused more extensive damage than what could easily be seen. Daniel was able to locate the area impacted, get it dried out and resolve our issue. He then helped redesign our shower to prevent it from becoming a problem again.He definitely had his work cut out for him - our walls/ceiling were not perfectly square. He was able to add trim around the shower, creating the illusion that our walls were better than they were. His whole team was nothing but professional - always polite, very clean (even when tearing out the old shower) and very accommodating. I work from home, so they did their best to minimize any disruption caused by the construction. They cleaned up their work area EVERY night, and just overall were super nice people.If you’re looking to have excellent craftsmanship from an extremely professional team, you can’t go wrong hiring Daniel!

In fact, his price was lower than the multiple estimates that I had received from other contractors. But beyond great pricing, his work is not just excellent. Its perfect! I was stunned to see the attention to detail. For example, he took it upon himself to go out and get caulk that matched the wall tile colors (a detail that I didnt contemplate). Everything, and I mean everything, is perfectly set and leveled. He asked me questions all throughout both projects to make sure that he was giving us exactly what we envisioned our new bathrooms to be. He and his assistant, Victor, were incredibly respectful of our home, covering both the carpet and hard wood floors to avoid damage and dirt. At the end of every work day, they completely cleaned up everything. Their incredible work ethic culminated in a total turnaround time of just under 2 weeks (*the master bathroom was previously gutted to the studs). The results are incredible. The upstairs hall bathroom is completely updated/modernized. It is just beautiful. The master bathroom looks like a high-end spa! Both bathrooms look like they belong in a home design magazine.
