An acquaintance said they had Palmer install their 220 volt home charger system and were quite happy with them, therefor I contacted them for an estimate. Tarah was VERY good, she came to a much better solution than I had imagined. They were even able to reschedule the install when the charger arrived earlier than promised. Jason, the Palmer electrician, came with a great deal of experience and he was very personable and professional during the installation. He answered my questions during the installation and explained what he was doing in terms a non-electrician could understand. He was very neat and tidy. Their price was very fair and reasonable. If I have a need for future electrical services, I will definitely use them again!

I called Palmer after my parent’s disposal wasn’t getting any power. My parents called a handyman they know. After 2 days of working on it they had a new disposal a fuse replaced and the door to the fuse box was off and the islands receptacle was torn apart.The disposal was still not working. He said it was a “ line problem “!I called Palmer and had an appointment the next morning.I really appreciated the technician Guillermo giving me an eta that morning.He and his apprentice were very professional and quickly figured out the problem.My apologies I don’t remember the apprentice name but he had a very nice cowboy hat.Thank you for explaining the receptacle connection error. The disposal setup versus the dishwasher. They even had time to address my parents carriage lights programming problem. It’s working fine now.I have already recommended Palmer to a neighbor who needs a EV panel put in. Hope that use you guys.Thanks again for the great service.

Jason and Ron were wonderful. Jason came to my house to replace a light in my kitchen. He took the extra step of checking my outside electric box and discovered that the wires which should have been connected to ground my house were rusted out and disconnected. He immediately showed me the (very dangerous) issue. He provided a short-term solution and was back a few days later, with Ron, to repair the wires, ensuring my house was grounded.The commitment to excellence in ensuring my familys safety is so appreciated. I am grateful for Jason and his professionalism and high quality service.

Recently contacted Palmer Electric regarding flickering indoor lighting. I asked for an experienced electrician and they sent Jason. My experience with Palmer Electric, and particularly with Jason is positive. Jason listened to my explanation of the perceived issue and he went about troubleshooting. He discovered the problem was an electrical ground system no longer working/inoperative. He provided me with a detailed explanation of the cost and steps to repair. I think that Jasons work ethic, professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively speaks well of this Palmer Electric employee. In my experience in the business world, an employee such as Jason, is an employee to be valued. He represented Palmer Electric in an extra-ordinary manner. Job well done!!

I called to have my weather head repaired before a hurricane, the office was quick to pickup and understood what I was asking for, and they came out right away, with a simple hourly rate+materials cost that seemed fair and reasonable. My electricians, Guillermo and Gage, were professional, efficient, and took the time to walk me through their idea for the repair before they started work, and then were fast to start and complete.Their solution lasted through the hurricane with no issues and I am extremely satisfied.The work was quality, price was right, and the electricians were a joy to work with. Ill be coming back here when I next need electrical work!

10/10 stars for Palmer electric which I do not own. Our house power failed last night after weeks of flickering. We called another company who claimed to have emergency service at midnight and stayed up for hours awaiting a call back. Finally we went to sleep to awake at 7 am and call Palmer. A qualified technician called us in 30 minutes (at no charge) and told us to call Duke to confirm it wasnt their issue. Duke said within an hour it was house not them. Palmer was out within an hour thereafter with ample communication during that time.Come to find out the main line connected to our main service box had fried and could have actually caused a fire. Thankfully it didnt. Around the time (10 am) we had a prognosis from Palmer at a reasonable non-emergency rate the other company called us back but we already had a resolution. They would have charged us $250 for a service charge far above what Palmer charged.We found out from Duke that Palmer is one out of three preferred vendors and we were in good hands and many other companies would have charged a service call without ruling out them first. All this to say we are Palmer customers for life. I will also talk to Palmer about making their yelp say they have 24 hour service which deterred us from calling them first as yelp said they were closed versus the other company who obviously didnt really have emergency afterhours service.

They made quick work and a good job installing a GFCI outlet on the outside of my house. Their rates were fair, I’m happy to pay, no problems there. They were also on time, professional, and courteous, no problems there.However, only 4 stars for the following:• They didn’t pick up any trash they left behind (see photos). I don’t expect every little crumble to be picked up, but at least pick up the big pieces. Even if they would have asked me, I could have thrown it away for them.Update: Palmer Electric reached out to me and apologized for the mess left behind. I do appreciate their follow up and I have hope future messes will be picked up, based on my conversation with them.

We had an entire breaker panel fail due to the electrical storm we recently experienced in Orlando. We are a small law firm and the entire second floor was without power. We found this out on Sunday. Wil Reddick came out and evaluated the situation as we needed to restore power on the second floor. Wil was able to get the parts and make the repair on Sunday night and restored power to our entires second floor. Wil was there until nearly mid-night making the repair. He was extremely professional and very nice. He knew our situation and that none of our staff could work without power or air conditioning. He was amazing and was our “Superman” for helping us outand restoring our power. Thank you Wil Reddick. You are an asset to Palmer Electric!

I used Palmer Electric after Hurricane Ian to replace my meter box and electrical riser on my home. A tree had fallen on it rendering it useless. John from Palmer Electric was immediately responsive to my call and came out same weekend to quote me. The quote was very reasonably priced! Ed from Palmer Electric responded and completed the work did an Amazing Job. They scheduled me from 12-4 pm; however, Ed arrived at 9 am way ahead of schedule. Palmer Electric set up the inspection and called the utility service for me as well and I had power the same day install was completed.Palmer Electric was great in every facet and I would highly recommend them in any and all electrical work you need to complete! I had a great experience with Palmer Electric. I had to have my main circuit breaker and meter base replaced. I opted for a few other things to upgrade my service and add generator hookups.The original call was handled in a day (as well he tightened up a few things to ensure we wouldnt have problems before the work could be done). I received a written estimate in a day. When I approved the work and put down a deposit, the work and ALL associated work (permitting, scheduling with Duke for power down and restore) were scheduled within a few weeks which is impressive considering the coordination required.I did have lots of questions about all of this and did call the office a few times between scheduling and the work to ask questions. The staff was always more than happy to talk to me and explain how things would happen. As well, I requested a few changes to the original quote and these changes were added without issue.The quote was very reasonable for the time and materials that were required to do the work. I did get another quote from another local electrician I had used previously and the were within 100 of each other. I just got a MUCH better vibe from EVERYONE at Palmer that I had contact with. They all seemed very happy and more than willing to work with me.The day of the work, they showed up at exactly the time they said they would. Ed was a pleasure to work with, he got the work done very promptly and the result is very professional looking.It was refreshing to see them interact with other companies (Duke and the City permitting) so professionally and cordially.I will be using Palmer for any of my electrical needs in the future.

I have had a recurring issue with a breaker for 5 years. Ive had several electricians fail to fix it. I had two ridiculously expensive estimates to do more work than necessary to fix the issue. Bob from Palmer Electric quickly identified and fixed the cause of the tripping circuit for a small fraction of the previous estimates. Honest, reliable and fair pricing. I highly recommend Palmer Electric.

Our home warranty company was unable to promptly schedule an electrician to service a breaker box issue resulting in our AC turning off constantly (not ideal in Florida!). We called Palmer Electric for an emergency appointment to finally solve the issue. Both Bob and John were prompt, professional and empathetic (such a relief after our home warranty company), and our issue was resolved quickly and for a very reasonable price at 9 PM. Highly recommend!

Alonso and Daman the electricians came out to replace our old FP boxes this week which was an all day job. They were professional and caring to make sure everything was done in a day. They answered any questions we had and were just really nice guys. Sandy and Josh in the main office were responsive to any questions I had and helpful as well. PE coordinated with Duke Energy and Code enforcement which went smoothly. The whole process went well from a total team work aspect at PE. Also, PE bid was the best out of 6 companies. Thank you!

If we could give them 10 stars We would. We first called several other companies and were unhappy with their quotes and lack of professionalism. We called Palmer to fix what we knew was a simple GFI problem. Gene came and was so good and honest. It was nice to have someone explain to me what was causing the issue, not just try to confuse me and charge me a lot of money. He did such a great job I asked for a quote on running power and putting in a fan and outlet on our patio. He took the time to test things and figure out how it would need to be installed (properly), so there were no surprises on the day of install. I am literally thrilled with how everything turned out. They made everything as simple and painless as possible.

I was having issues with my electrical panel to the point where it started to sizzle. I immediately put in a work order to get the situation resolved. The very next day Palmer Electric Company sent an electrician to take care of the issue. Will was very punctual and ready to work. I was very pleased to have Will be the one to service our electrical panel, he was extremely nice and professional and paid attention to detail. Will knew exactly what needed to be done to resolve the issue, even took a look at my dryer outlet which needed some work and helped me fix it. Next time i need a service technician ill definitely be asking for Will.

I called palmer Electric about an alarm fault we had on our backflow for the fire suppression system on our building. I spoke with Allison and she was super nice during the whole interaction. Asked what our concern was, and confirmed it on her end. She said she would have a technician out to us to take care of the problem. She wasnt kidding, we had a tech here in a half an hour! Thats with no prior appointment or notice. I cant say enough about the service that was provided by Palmer, Allison, and the technician. They fixed their end of the problem in less than an hour and referred us to our sprinkler company to repair the backflow tamper switch. During the repair of the switch we needed to have our system placed in test mode, one more call to Allison and within 30 seconds we were in test mode and the tech was working. Great service by Allison.Palmer Electric, you have a great one representing your company!! Time for a raise!

We needed a meter box and 200 amp main service box replaced on the side of our house. We got some quotes from some other electrical contractors who I wont name, but one who was a spectacularly bad quote rhymes with mr snarky.We found out about palmer electric after trying to get quotes from a couple of other companies that didnt have the bandwidth to help us themselves.They sent out 2 electricians the same day who were very knowledgeable and only charged us for the hours and parts used during the project. I highly recommend Palmer Electric, they basically came to our rescue. We called them to fix a couple small things in our tiny house on wheels. It was Monday at closing time but we were still able to schedule someone for the next afternoon. Wil was great, he answered all our questions and then installed a new switch box we needed and a 48V to 12V converter for our solar system. The 12V runs our water heater so we have hot water now after almost a year, yay! We’re very happy and would use them again.

Wil was an outstanding hard worker and we greatly appreciate his work! Multiple outlet replacements, installed gfis and went on a wild wire hunt to find hot wires in our house. He solved the mystery! Him and his helper rewired our kitchen outlets and instead of cutting walls inside they were able to connect them both through my back yard wall and make their own connection! Wil even experienced a dead rodent in our attic( gross) without hesitation and continued his job! After fixing everything inside he discovered a outlet to the exterior that had been covered up by stucco. What a surprise! So he fixed 2 hot wires in my house we were unaware of! And gave us an extra outlet out front! He cleaned up his mess then even went on our roof and ensured our Christmas lights were working and discovered we had staple through one of the wires. He went above and beyond to make our family happy this holiday season and we greatly recommend his services!

Wil R. came out , apartment had half electricity and no AC , found out breaker was bad and replaced and fixed immediately. Also found that other breakers along with mine would need changing to prevent the same issues to other units. Great Guy and Customer Service.. Thanks Will

We were having power issues with an area of outlets in the kitchen. My problem was diagnosed with another company and was told the main breaker needed to be replaced. That company was unable to complete the work order the same day as guaranteed so I opted for a full refund. Blessing in disguise really. I reached out to Palmer who with a full schedule still came to see. Turns out the lugs for the breaker needed tightening and no replacement was needed. Save me hundreds of dollars. Unfortunately integrity is dying with these sort of services. Not the case with Palmer. You folks are awesome!!!

Palmers have done great work for us over the last five years. Theyve really saved us from catching fire too. When you buy a home and have an inspection, they dont let you know that the attic is full of wires that arent in their proper boxes and things or how clearly some clueless handyperson had updated electrics previously and in fact created a potential hazard. Always call an electrician when you move into a place (call two in my opinion). Palmers electricians are good, honest people. I recommend asking for Robert.
