UPDATE - Today we had Carolina HVAC back to address an intermittent issue with the outlets on our screened-in porch. After rainy or wet days, the breaker would occasionally trip, but it became more frequent after a recent storms. Carolina HVAC promptly dispatched Kyle Brooks, who had never been to our property before. Kyle quickly and professionally pinpointed the issue: a single outlet beneath our covered patio that, while seemingly protected, was installed in a standard box rather than a weather-resistant one.Upon closer inspection, Kyle noticed signs of oxidation and weathering, making it the prime suspect. He replaced the outlet with a weather-resistant box and cover, addressing the suspected root of the issue. His thorough and efficient work left us hopeful that the problem is now fully resolved.Carolina HVAC continues to impress us with their outstanding service and commitment to quality, even months after the project’s completion. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and professional work!Carolina HVAC and Electrical has finished my 8 month renovation and construction project adding approximately 1500 sq ft of living space and a 750 sq ft screened in porch. This project included moving the over head 200 amp electrical service from the back of the home to 400 amps underground entering the side of the house. Upgrading gas lines from 3/4 inch to 1” to support a second instant hot water heater, a new gas fireplace and a new gas manifold for grills or gas fire pits in addition to existing gas appliances. They installed a second 200 amp inside panel and upgraded the service to the old existing 200 amp panel. They upgrade existing 2 wire ungrounded outlets to 3 wire grounded. Installed well over 100 new outlets, lights, fans, etc. Installed new smoke alarms. They installed a second dedicated Carrier Infinity HVAC with an advanced filtration system for cigar smoke. I love this system. Its dead silent even outside standing right next to the condenser. You don’t hear it. I’ll definitely replace my old existing HVAC at it’s EOL. As always Carolina HVAC and Electrical has met every commitment and exceeded all our expectations. We’re very happy with all the systems and services performed. I highly recommend them for any HVAC, Electrical or Gas project you have.

From the moment we called and set up a quote, we knew we had chosen the right company. The office staff were so friendly and helpful in setting us up for a quote for a replacement of our unit. Pat came to our home and answered any questions we had and gave us a quote on what we needed and wanted. He was very kind and knowledgeable and we felt valued. We were treated with respect and professionalism from the office staff to the installation of our unit. They showed up on time, worked hard and everyone that worked on installing our unit was kind, respectful and professional. They did not leave til our unit was completed and working as expected. I cannot express enough gratitude and appreciation I felt from this companys professionalism, kindness and service. We had several quotes from other major companies, but they were far superior to any of them. It was an easy decision in choosing them. It is hard to find a honest, respectful company that values its customers, where the employees are respectful and professional, and the work is exceptional. I heard they also have an electrical side to the company and it is just as exceptional. I know who I will be using in the future.

Great installation and service. Love our Infinity systems.4/3/2023:Carolina HVAC did a wonderful job installing a 22KW backup home generator. Arrived 8 AM and finished by 1PM. Only had to remove power for 30 minutes. Cleaned up after themselves and the install looks like it has always been there. Very good price included all labor charges as well. I bought the propane tank and paid a boring company to route the gas line without disturbing my grass or driveway. A very satisfying project that brings a lot of peace of mind powering our home during power outages. Noise level sounds like a CH-47 helicopter flying by in the distance. Quieter than expected.05/13/2024 Westin performed a service check up on the house HVAC system. He is very professional and thoughtful. He wore shoe protective covers in the house to protect our floors. He endured 100 plus degrees in the attic to inspect the cooling coils in the air handler. Thank you.08/19/2024 & 8/20/2024 Westin & Chris installed warranted evaporator assembly and expansion valve in attic. Had a great night of perfect a/c last night. They even loaned us a few portable ac units over the weekend. Couldnt be happier with the service.

I have had Carolina HVAC and Electrical do both electrical and HVAC work for me. Today Kyle Brooks came by and did some electrical updates. The whole company is terrific and Kyle is no exception. Timely, courteous professional and highly skilled. Not to mention patient! Patience is a requirement when dealing with nutty old ladies and Kyle has it in spades. Cant recommend them highly enough. I live in a older house. After Helene and fighting to find fuel for my portable generator, which proved to be frustrating I decided to look into a standby generator. Carolina HVAC & Electrical installed my Generator and upgraded my power feed to my house. Carolina HVAC recently replaced our obsolete electrical panel as well as our hardwired smoke detectors. From the first meeting with Steven I was impressed with his professionalism and knowledge of the work that needed to be done. I was also impressed by his detailed, itemized estimate, and the office staffs knowledge and willingness to help when I had questions. Their competition for the job had provided an estimate that basically said Replace electrical panel, and provided no details on start date, length of job, payment intervals, or accommodations for my disabled husbands comfort. They also took 4-5 days to return my call regarding those items, by which time I had already decided that Carolina HVAC was the best choice.Led by Steven, the Carolina HVAC team did an excellent job of placing protective covering on our floors before the job started, and cleaning up all trace of their presence before leaving the property. Due to my husbands health, we were unable to leave the home while the work was being performed, and we were able to rent portable air conditioning units from them to keep us comfortable, and they provided portable generators to keep those a/c units and our refrigerator and freezer running, as well as maintain our wi-fi so that my son could continue to work from home without relocating for the day. They were in and out in the timeline Steven predicted, were quiet and polite while they were here, and they left the house as clean as, if not cleaner, than it was when they arrived. Carolina HVAC has become my “go to” HVAC professionals. After moving to Aiken a year ago, I have struggled to find solid home improvement professionals. Carolina HVAC is a keeper! My two-car garage cooks like an oven in the summer, and the water pipes can freeze in the winter. I had Carolina HVAC install a “Mini Split HVAC” system in the garage and now I can enjoy using my garage year-round. It’s a hotter than normal August, and I was able to sit in my garage, with the sectional door open, and feel a cool breeze while the humidity was dealt with. If you want to enjoy your garage year round, get your concrete floor sealed, get an insulated door installed, get your siding insulated, and contact Carolina HVAC! They had the system installed in 2 hours! Wonderfully professional, honest, and friendly. You get what you pay for…Carolina HVAC are proven winners.

Have come to depend on Carolina HVAC for quality and dependable service. Had them come by my home earlier in the year to do a yearly scheduled service on my home standby generator. As always nothing but a professional and quality job. Logan did a complete service on my generator and noted any issues he saw making sure I was aware of any current or possibly future concerns.Today Logan and Chris came by for the yearly heating inspection on my two units. I have been using them for several years signing up for their yearly maintenance plans for my HVAC units at home and can say that I know my units are seeing a MUCH longer service life because of consistent quality care. Their prices for the services we have used are very reasonable. They are professional and very courteous and never have tried to sell me anything not needed. We had Steven, one of the Carolina HVAC electricians come to our older home to troubleshoot a voltage issue with several of our electrical wires.Steven called ahead to get a sense of what the problem was so that he would have the proper equipment to resolve our issue.As he finished his previous job, he called ahead and let us know he was on his way.After arriving, he had me walk him through the issue. He asked if I wanted to accompany him to understand what he was doing to troubleshoot the issue. He did so in a way that I understood. After troubleshooting, he resolved the issue.He was friendly and knowledgeable throughout the process, and I would recommend Carolina HVAC.UPDATE: Our heater was not working, and we had Derrik out to look at it. He was great in walking us through the problem, fixing it and recommending future maintenance items we should consider, some of which he said we should do ourselves. We called Carolina HVAC after another disastrous experience with ARS. Carolina HVAC has been wonderful. They’re responsive and polite in the phone and in-person. They’re knowledgeable, they won’t scam you, they’ll give you the facts and options and allow you to make an informed decision that’s best for you and your situation.ARS quoted a ridiculous amount to replace two damper motors and an old panel - but would not tell us the model numbers for comparison. Carolina HVAC came in much lower, gave us the exact parts, and we ordered them on our own (cheaper) and had them instal them.On a separate occasion ARS came to look at our frozen AC - they told us after a quick test that our TXV valve was bad and it was a minimum of $3300 to repair it. Carolina HVAC came in for a second opinion, and it turns out a previous “repair” ARS had done was faulty and insulation fell on the AC coils causing the freeze. They fixed it for good, checked the TXV valve for good measure (it was fine) and made some simple suggestions to improve our system and air flow.Everyone we have encountered has been top, but Logan specifically was a great help. Carolina HVAC sent him out for our second issue since he was already familiar with our system. I’ve already recommended them to local friends, and I will recommend them any day of the week for anything HVAC related.

I cant recommend this company highly enough! I own and operate an upscale Bed and Breakfast, The Birdnest Inn, in Aiken, SC. After hours on a Friday evening the downstairs HVAC went out. Having guests that could not physically navigate to the second floor it was imperative that I have air-conditioning on the ground level. Carolina HVAC was onsite within an hour, determined that the problem could not be repaired until Monday and set up portable a/c systems throughout the ground level. On Monday, their in-house electrician, Steve, was able to rewire and replace several breakers, while Pat, the owner, replaced several parts. I was back up and running.
