Dans Heating & CoolingSandra, handled my initial call on Sat. Nov.23rd.She was very knowledgeable and worked with me to provide the best information needed for my upcoming service call. I found her to be a great asset to the company give her high praise forher quality help.Nov. 25, 2024 Glen arrived promptly at 11:00 AM. First thing, he checked my heat exchanger for any cracks as well as inspecting the unit as to its safe operation. He found my heat exchanger and burner section very clean and well serviced, by me. Then he set out to solve the blower motor issue which he found was a burned high voltage wire stuck behind burner cover.The trapped wire was my fault. When I serviced the unit two (2) weeks prior I trapped the wire between the burner cover and the front wall of the burner chamber.Glen spliced the wire with a Red Butt connector, which I provided, (He did not have one in his kit).Glen provided a great deal of information about my heating unit as well as general information during his time spent with me.During our discussion of the invoicing my questions were answered to my satisfaction.I offered a $20.00 cash tip for service above and beyond the normal provided, which was excepted.I will request Glen for service in the future.

Had new heating and air system installed Trevor and Kyle did an amazing job they were very professional, matching new system to existing ductwork was perfect, outside they broke up 8 in of concrete so they could level and install a new pad, been 30 plus years since Ive actually seen someone who takes pride in the work they do.Thank You

After MONTHS of research and contractor appointments, I chose Dan’s heating and cooling to install my new Trane hvac systems. This old 1963 home was on its last leg with an inefficient 1990’s heating and air systems. I knew it would be a challenge for the technicians, but Trevor and Kyle worked effortlessly together as a TEAM to ensure everything was done professionally and to my satisfaction. These two techs are beyond exceptional. Earl, sales consultant, was very knowledgeable and experienced. I’m a list maker and had lots of questions. Earl set my mind at ease knowing this was a big decision for me, and I was on a mission to get the best of everything and stay within my proposed budget. It’s not all about price, it’s about reputation, customer service, professional staff, reputable quality systems...the list goes on! No hidden costs, what I was quoted was what I paid. Excellent parts and labor warranties in addition to an affordable and “peace of mind” service maintenance agreement. I could write a book about my experience with Dan’s! Everyone at Dan’s is wonderful to work with. I highly recommend Dan’s for all your hvac needs. They’re the best👍.

Dan’s HVAC has provided service at this house for 7yrs. Dan’s had serviced the original system before we bought the property. The 1999 HVAC system needed replaced so we had Dan’s install an energy efficient one that has continued to save on the utility bills. I’ve been very pleased with all the technicians that they employ and their office staff is the best that I’ve dealt with.

Mike arrived within the appointment window. He brought the semi-annual complimentary filter, which I always appreciate and which some companies no longer provide. After servicing the furnace, we discussed my past problems with the humidifier, and I opted to pay extra for the humidifier system to be serviced. With our drought conditions here in south central Kansas, I feel that humidified air will be even more important for my comfort this winter. He patiently explained to me that although it is working now, since hot water is flowing through the humidifier, sediment from the heater could continue to build up in the filter and valve. I always appreciate his honesty, and I continue to trust Dan’s Heating and Air for all of my HVAC needs.

I had an issue with my furnace and Dans service rep. and technician stepped in and took care of my problem. They went over and above the call of duty. The technicians who came out to work on my parents failing AC were outstanding and provided a real solution to it after some others had tried. It was a reasonable price and they scheduled the repair quickly. The technicians that came out were really nice guys and knew what they were doing and the scheduler actually listened to the problem I was having. I will definitely call these guys again.

Ive been a customer since 2021. From front office to corner office to service techs, Ive had superior experiences. Dans is genuinely customer oriented. Youll notice it in every contact. Dans offers an annual contract (A/C spring & furnace fall inspections). Its worth every dollar plus if a service call is needed anytime, contract holders get top priority. I called at 230pm on a summer day to report AC not cooling. It was repaired by 4pm.In my work life, I offered high-level customer service. Now, I know what it feels like to be on the receiving end.I highly recommend Dans Heating and Cooling.

We purchased an AC and furnace package from Dan’s Heating & Cooling for the 2nd story of our home. We were extremely pleased with their assessment and quote they offered, their communication and their ability to schedule us in for the install fairly quickly. Since the temps were very high outside and our heating unit was in the attic, they scheduled the install in the mornings on two days and we were also extremely happy with how smoothly and efficiently the installers, Jason and Mike, were able to get the units placed and working well for us. Of course the air conditioner quit in the middle of the night when we have a houseful of out of town guests, including a 200 pound St Bernard that gets very hot quickly. The daytime temperatures have been over 100 degrees. We called Dan’s first thing in the morning and arranged for a tech to come out the same day. The tech, Glen, was very helpful, explained what he was doing, investigated if the part was still under warranty, took pictures to put in our records and was very courteous. The dispatcher, Ginny, called to schedule the appointment, tell us the tech’s name, and even called again to see if the tech could come out early. She was courteous, sympathetic and very knowledgable. A pleasure to talk to in a stressful situation. All things considered, it was a 5 star experience. Thanks Dan’s Heating and Cooling!

We had such a great experience working with Dans.. Our sales rep Earl came out to take a look at our AC and he was able to provide an estimate on site. He helped us figure out the best plan to reroute some stuff for our AC to have better air flow. Kyle, Trevor, and Chris were the install techs, they were efficient and kept everything clean while doing the install. They took the time once they were done to do a walk around of all the parts & showed us how to use our new thermostat. We would recommend Dans to all our friends and family!!

We have been 60 year customers of Dans heating from the original Dan, and have always been given good service. But this week set a new record! With 100 degree days on top of us, late one evening we discovered our upstairs A/C had gone out. The temp up ther was 94. Mrs. Berry and I were scheduled to start a driving trip the next morning.I called at 7:32 a.m., not sure I would get anyone that early, and Ginny Burnett answered. I was assuming I would have to ask a neighbor to let them in later in the week to find the problem. She said to stand by and she woud call back. Turns out she called multiple times because I took a shower! When she got me about 7:50 she said their tech would be out right away if I could be there. I could, and Glen Vining arrived. It took a while for him to find the freon was all gone as the result of a hole in the line. He carefully looked for all other angles, keeping me posted all along. He made a through estimate of the repair, which came to about half the cost of a new A/C. Ours was 13 years old and well beyond the 5-year warranty. He explained that currently they were offering a 10-year parts warranty on a new one. Realizing most of ours would still be 13 years old after the expensive repair I opted to buy new. He went right to work and completed in the expected time frame. I had a couple of questions which he answered in detail to make sure I understood. I would give him the highest rating possible as he earned it. I hope he is always available to service our system. My air con stopped working over the weekend. Ginny was great in communicating with me and coordinating the technician to come out to my house. The tech arrived at the prescribed time. Glenn went right to the part that failed. No poking around. All I did was explain to him what was going on and he took a panel off and a small cover and bingo he went right for the problem. Not only did Glenn have the part in his van, but he had a small little mini machine shop in his van and was able to manufacture the other components he needed! Huge thanks to Joe and Sam who did an excellent job installing new furnace and AC. Having a 73 year old house there were some unique challenges. They handled everything professionally and thoroughly. They got right to work, hustled but took no short cuts. They cared about our home and offered us options when finding a sprinkler head that was in the way of the new AC unit. They stayed late on a Friday until the job was done! James was the excellent technician that determined our old furnace was unsafe to use. He showed us exactly where the problems were, no guessing. He told us what we needed and what we didnt need while listening to what we wanted and what we didnt want. Dans Heating and Cooling in general, and Earl McCall and Mike 3.0 in particular, present such a refreshing change from how many businesses operate nowadays. I own a home with good, but aging, HVAC components and I wanted an honest opinion of what to expect in the next few years or if I should try another technology. Earl made the initial assessment almost immediately after my first contact with the company. He came to my house to carefully explain all the options, along with approximate costs. To my surprise, he advised me NOT to invest in certain equipment which would have had little or no return on investment. I was so impressed with his integrity that I further inquired about a service contract. It takes a lot to impress me, but I was blown away by the thorough and professional job the technicians did to service my heating system and to install a new thermostat having complicated controls, far beyond the normal thermostat. So far, so good I thought, but will the summer service be as good? Dans called me to make an appointment, and timely reminders as the day grew closer were greatly appreciated without being annoying. Mike 3.0 called me an hour before he arrived, and showed up exactly when he said he would (and all within the time frame originally set up several weeks in advance). Throughout the process of servicing the A/C, Mike 3.0 explained to me exactly what he was doing, and why. He is extremely knowledgeable without being the least bit arrogant. I wasnt pressured to replace parts that were working okay, unlike the previous company I hired. I strongly recommend Dans Heating and Cooling for all your HVAC needs!

Our air conditioner and heater were both going out, we called 4 companies to get estimates. After reading the first 3 estimates, we thought we just go old school with a window unit or sale everything we owned, including our beloved pets to pay for both! ;) Then, the last company showed up, Dans!!! They saved us! Dans Estimate was nearly $4,000 cheaper than one company and few thousand less than the others. Alex and Sam worked hard to install both systems, they even played with our dogs and cats! They answered all of our questions, were very friendly and professional. Glen is the technician who came to my home a week ago. He performed the maintenance procedure on the heating system, as well as the humidifier system. He discovered the wiring was not done correctly on the humidifier, so he took the time to re-wire it. Throughout the time he was here and working on the heating system and the humidifier, he took the time to explain everything he was doing, and although complicated, it all gave me an idea of how things work or should be working. I appreciate the educational aspect of his visit, and the checking out of all parts related to the heating system and humidifier. Glen is definitely a professional, who knows his business inside out! He even showed me how to set up the Trane app to remotely manage my system which nobody else has EVER done -- which is pretty weird, considering I have had my system now for 4 years...... Ginny did a great job arranging having someone come out for servicing and making arrangements for Adrian to come out and work up 3 proposals to replace both the furnace and the AC unit. Once accepted, Joe, Chris, and Jason came out and completed a the installation in just 1 day. All three gentleman where very polite, professional, paid attention to details, even protecting the floors and stairs from obtaining any damage. When receiving the final invoice it was exactly as quoted. Dans Heating and Cooling team is first class and I would highly recommend them for both installations and servicing.

Im always pleased with the service I receive from any of the technicians they send out, but today I must say WOW. Today, Dans Heating and Cooling sent me Mike 3.0.Mike worked efficiently and quickly. I appreciated how he was explaining what he was doing and why. I actually learned a thing or two. At my rental property, he discovered a safety sensor wasnt performing as it should be. It was a critical sensor that if it failed, it could potentially be life threatening to the occupants. He didnt have the part on his truck, but said it was critical enough that it warranted immediate attention. He came back later the same day and replaced the sensor.I just sent in my Service Agreement renewal for another year. I would recommended Dans Heating and Cooling to anyone as I have never been disappointed.A shout out to Jenny and Sonya in the office who are always pleasant, helpful and professional when we speak.

We could quickly see that Craig understood our geo-thermal system (not every HVAC company does) and earned our confidence by both looking for the solution AND getting us patched together short term to get us cool again.
