We’d lost power in the upper level of our home. We made an appointment with our local Mr. Electric for diagnosis of the problem. The technicians were prompt and professional, snow outside and booties on their feet in the house. They accessed the problem and quickly found a receptacle that had created an open circuit. They also installed a replacement GFICreceptacle and we were good to go. Reasonable cost and piece of mind is rare these days.

A ceiling fan went out and I didn’t even have a ladder to reach. The electrician Shane was on time, courteous . knowledgeable, and replaceable the ceiling fan quickly. I will use Mr Electric again. They charge some, but got it right the first time. That’s better than I can do it.

My house had a very old and outdated circuit breaker panel and one day turning on my oven blew out half of the panel. I called Mr. Electric for help and they sent someone out that same day to look at it. Aric came to my home and was able to explain not only what had happened, but that my panel and breakers were an old (and potentially dangerous) style that are no longer made. My options were explained to me and I scheduled a replacement of the entire panel. Aric I. came and replaced the panel with new, safe breakers and whole home surge protection. He even went above and beyond my expectations and re-secured some low voltage lines that were damaged by a falling tree limb. Aric is very knowledgeable and professional. I am very happy with the entire experience and process with Mr. Electric of Wichita. I highly recommend giving them a call for your electric issues/needs! Needed a 220 for a hot tub and separate breaker by the hot tub. Light is not 5 feet away and hot tub breaker was installed just above the cement. Good thing an inspector is coming. Not happy. They did do a good job at changing out my main breaker box and checking that everything was safe.

Mr Electric was quick to respond to my request for emergency repair and did a great job fixing my meter pole that got knocked down in the storm. Evergys tree crew cut my power line from the pole at my meter due to the downed line leaving me in a critically bad position. They didnt do anything with the tree that fell on the line. Evergy refused to send a technician to perform a repair so i had tp pay out of pocket for this power reconnect. Its a holiday weekend, you know. No one was available to assist except for Mr Electric.

Aric always shows up when he said he would. The job was a breaker juggle and replacement, and he did it in an hour as bid. On price. And then gave another additional hour [assessment and planning hour was free, a month ago] . And then we discussed future work. Because Im happy enuf to plan to have him back for more work.This competent and happy service provider rocks, and their people are top notch. You can find a cheaper electrician. But i doubt you can find a better or more communicative one.If you just need no drama and new capacity or just brought up to code, ... call Mr Electric. And ask for Aric.

I was so impressed by the contact I received in response that I decided to pursue official contact with the company. She made arrangements for a technician to come out and give me an estimate the following day.Ben was prompt, courteous and explained everything very clearly. He answered all of my questions and reviewed all of the details thoroughly. I was very impressed by his professionalism. Based on these back-to-back great customer service interactions, we decided to hire Mr. Electric to do the work the following Monday.Ben arrived on time again and got straight to work. He beat his expected time to complete the job, which was great since it required shutting off the power to our residence. The work he did was excellent - everything works exactly as it did before (except with new hardware) and it looks phenomenal.I then received a call a couple of hours after the completion of the work from Kathy again informing me of the appointment they arranged for the City inspector to come and sign off on the work.Altogether an excellent experience that took a great amount of stress off my shoulders at every interaction. Aric Irsik from Mr. Electric came to address an we had with our GFI outlet in our master bath. He quickly diagnosed the issue and solved it by replacing the outlet. He did a safety check of our electrical panel and other outlets. He was very personable as he explained potential issues he found. He allowed me to pick and choose what issues I wanted to address at this time. He frequently asked questions to make sure I understood and that we were on the same page. Our house was originally built in 1986 and never had any electrical upgrades, so it was time to do some things. I won’t claim the repairs were cheap (what is in today’s world with inflation and supply chain issues),but he kept me informed as to the costs of repairs. I enjoyed working with Aric and would do so again.

Shane answered all of my questions about the issues we were having. He was early to the appt time and a photo of him was texted to me prior to the appt so I knew who was coming. I meant to write a review long back: I had issues with the electric in my house in November of 2020 and contacted Mr. Electric. Shane and another technician came out and looked at some things that could have possibly been an issue, I had them fix it, I was still having issues and wasnt sure if it was actually an electrical or heating issue (or whatever else...my house has many issues). Shane and the office were super patient with me, they came out multiple times and helped me contact Evergy because when I would contact Evergy, they wouldnt actually fix what we were pretty sure the problem was. After Shane also contacted Evergy, the company finally came out a third time and fixed a wire that had been spliced by a tree, which was causing my flickering lights. I honestly cannot say enough how much I appreciate what the company did for me and how kind everyone was. I struggle with different disabilities, but everyone was kind, patient, and helped me until the problem was resolved. Any charges were reasonable and honestly, they probably could have charged me more for having them coming out when it was an Evergy issue the whole time. I grew up being told to keep a list of your go-to: Plumber, HVAC, and Electrician companies and Mr. Electric is definitely my go-to electric company! Thanks to everyone at Mr. Electric.
