    Ill preface this review by saying that I am a picky customer. I normally like to just do everything myself due to this but electrical work is something I would rather just pay for the experience and knowledge.BLUF: Use Monumental (Jimmy)... You wont regret it.My experience...1. Researched three different Tesla certified installers that had the best reviews. I emailed all three the same day. One of which I never received a reply. One that emailed me back same day but as I am writing this review, I am still waiting for that quote. Monumental (Jimmy) CALLED me same day & had a quote for me within an hour. I waited for five days to see if I would get replies back from the other two companies to which I did not. I texted Jimmy on that Friday telling him that I wanted to use him for the install and he had me scheduled for the upcoming Monday.2. Monday arrived and so did Jimmy. I made him aware that I was picky about aesthetics and it didnt bother him one bit. He was efficient & cleaned up after himself. If I didnt have a sweet & perfectly installed charger on my wall, I wouldve never known that he came. I also try not to helicopter too much, but when I did it didnt seem to bother him.3. I was skeptical about how he had a perfect rating on Google, but I can see why now. If I have any electrical work in the future, Jimmy will be my first call!

    I was having a fireplace installed. Half- way through the workers told me I needed an electrician because the old wiring was unsafe and they could not continue working until it was replaced. I need the job completed ASAP so I called Monumental and he was at my place in 30 minutes and rewired what I need in a snap. This saved the day and my fireplace was installed that day!

    We havenā€™t finished the work yet, but so far I cannot recommend Monumental Electric enough. I called them on a Saturday after another electrician gave me an estimate for work that I wasnā€™t sure was necessary in order to restore my power. I explained what I had been quoted and that I didnā€™t have the funds for the extra work and he pulled a permit with the county on Monday as soon as they were open. He agreed to do my reintroduction of power inspection for a quarter of the price, without charging me for unnecessary work (the first estimate told me I needed to upgrade my 2,200 sqft home from 200 to 300 amps). So far, I have experienced integrity, prompt service, and straightforward communication from Monumental Electric, and I plan to use them in the future.

    Jim installed two circuits and two Tesla EV chargers for us. The workmanship was excellent, the price competitive, and everything works perfectly. The communication during the job was great, as was the experience prior to the work.     I highly recommend Monumental Electric. My kitchen fan fell down from my ceiling after a faulty installment. I called numerous electricians on Angies List, but none were local or in the Southern Maryland area and couldnt promise to come within a few weeks.     I found this electrician from Teslaā€™s website for authorized Tesla Wall Installers. From the beginning, James was very courteous and knowledgeable about the Wall Charger. He was always very responsive and scheduling was very convenient. He installed a new circuit from my panel to my garage and installed/programmed the Wall Charger. His pricing is very competitive.     This guy is awesome. Need a Tesla wall charger installed at a momentā€™s notice, he came out on Saturday (usually he doesnā€™t work on weekends) got my charger installed at no extra cost, in was less this that he told me it would take. Plus I wasnā€™t even in the country, had a friend went over, give him the password to the Wi-Fi and his payment. Charger is working flawlessly, wires are tucked away. Very neat job.     My stove just died on me, (at least I thought). So I bought another one. I had it delivered and installed; only to find out, it wasnā€™t the stove that was the problem (sad face). The delivery man said you need to call an electrician. Since I didnā€™t know any electricians personally, I asked my friend, ā€œGoogle ā€œ for ā€œelectricians near meā€. I read the stats on a few different companies and called several, but no one answered .. but Jimmy from ā€œMonumental Electricā€. (Now weā€™re cooking with fire, literally)!! We spoke on the phone on Saturday; he asked for pictures and my location and came out the next day, (on NFL Sunday, yā€™all)!! This young man was punctual and polite. He showed up and went right to work. It took him no time to pin point the problem. He went to the store to pick up my new part, but because my part was so ancient, the store didnā€™t have it. He called me back with a solution, (which required my part to be ordered). I agreed to the terms and he came out the next day. He installed the new part and was done in 15 minutes. He emailed me my invoice that offered several different ways to pay AND the price was very reasonable!! I have a nice, new working stove AND an electric company thatā€™s licensed and insured for all my future electric needs!!! Yā€™all, give Monumental Electric a call!! Itā€™s worth it!!

    Amazing customer service. My daughter contacted Monumental Electric via chat. They were super responsive and came out to fix our electrical issue 1 day after a major snowstorm. Then my electrical panel wasnā€™t up to code and they were amazing to help me buget the cost of that project along w hanging a ceiling fan.
