    A terrific experience with Kuhlman Electric, start to finish. Very pleasant and responsive office staff (Erin, Kerri, Lillie, Jen). Clear estimate process. Kevin Cajuda and Ryan Peters were the electricians who did our EV charger installation and replaced some lights and whole house surge protection. They were on time and worked efficiently and were professional and personable. Great communication throughout with everyone we had contact with at Kuhlman. We will be using Kuhlman again for wiring replacement based on the very positive experience weve had so far.

    Radha Diaz and Jay Fernandez from Kuhlman Electric quickly installed my at home charging station, and handled the set up and all I had to do was show them the electrical panel and install location and they took care of everything else. They only charged the invoice once I had tested the charging station and confirmed it was working properly. The initial quote was free and very broke down what would need to be done in a timely and effective manner as well. I highly recommend Jay and Radha and Kuhlman as a whole.

    We just had 16 recessed lights changed to LED versions, 3 smoke/CO detectors replaced, and electrical panel/wiring work to fix a short circuit. Jay Fernandez and Radha Diaz were fantastic - polite, hardworking and they cleaned up and did minor patching as they worked. Well be happy to have them return to do any electrical work we need in the future - Highly recommended.

    Ive had Kuhlman (Ervis Bushi) install 2 EV chargers and a whole-home surge protector at my home and they are my go-to recommendation for EV installers.     Alfred and Jake from Kuhlman were amazing on my house surge protector and ev install. After completing the install they hung back and helped me troubleshoot the unit for over an hour till we figured out it was a defective unit. I then exchanged my unit and they prioritized coming back to install the new one at no additional cost. The install looks very nice as well as I was worried it would be an eye sore but it looks very professional. I’ve used Kuhlman for all my electrical projects and plan to continue.

    Easy to make an appointment! Kuhlman Electric technician Ervis Bushi came to our home same day that I called. He immediately spotted the problem, make from this situation a classroom for us with clear examples of the danger of an old electrical system in our 100 year plus home.     Kuhlman electric installed a level 2 Chargepoint charger at my house. Kevin Cajuda and Ryan Peters worked on the install and they were both very professional - they were quick efficient, explained the different options and gave helpful advice. The install took less than 2 hours including cleanup. Highly recommended!

    We were very pleased with the work of Radha and Dori as they removed and replaced knob and tube wiring in our house. They were very knowledgeable of the requirements and codes, worked efficiently together and kept us updated on what they were doing. We worked closely together to replace fixtures that needed to be replaced. The quality of their workmanship was evident. We would recommend them highly.

    Ervis communicated well and did the installation of the co2 detector and smoke alarm promptly and carefully. He left the place clean as he found it before doing the job. We would definitely recommend him as an electrician with Kuhlman.

    Kuhlmans did an extensive and complex BX wiring Replacement Project in our 4 family house, along with EV charger installation and 400 Amp panel replacement. From initial inspection (Steve) to Supervision/Planning (Ervis) to execution of the work by Steve Minichiello and Indrit Agalliu, Kuhlmans staff were experts in all aspects of the electrical work and regulations. They were extremely conscientious reliable responsive and professional. The results and experience were well beyond our expectations.We most highly recommend them.

    Indrit Agalliu and Steve Minichiello did an amazing job running a new 100A sub panel to my garage and rewiring all of the circuits to allow for 48A (60A breaker) EV charger and then installed that too, all in one day! Clean installation and very professional.

    Kuhlman Electrical replaced all the knob and tube electrical service in our house. We have been here for many years, but were unable to afford this major undertaking. The process was great. First, an estimator came and checked out everything. We liked what they had to say, and accepted the quote (which was in the middle of the three we got). But what made the decision easy was the other reviews I found about Kuhlman doing exactly this type of work. Additionally, our neighbor, who is a contractor, told us (after the job was started), that they were really good. We were not disappointed. Jake and Alfred worked together seamlessly, and Ervis, the regional manager checked in several times to make sure everything was going smoothly. It took 11 days, but the work was great, and the house is now safer and easier to use because of several choices that the electricians helped me make.

    They were AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!!! Steve and Indrit did the rewiring work and they knew everything and did everything wonderfully. They were knowledgeable, responsive, creative and efficient. They were also fun and friendly!!! The oversight gang (managers), notably Ervis, were also great. We had a HUGE project in 4 condo unit that took ~6 weeks. We upgraded our service (400amps) and replaced old wiring in much of the complex. All new panels were installed. Just a HUGE, HUGE undertaking. THANK YOU, THANK YOU KUHLMAN!!!

    Kuhlman electric was great from the initial estimate through the final project. They added a panel, and installed an electrical a charger in the garage. They also add an exterior outlet and trouble shot an issue in the garage. We had to add an extra service and Kuhlman was totally accommodating. Steve and Radha were awesome! They kept me abreast of what was going on and the plan to get the jobs done. They did great work, cleaned up everything after the job and made sure to check in to see if I had any questions. I will definitely contact Kuhlman for future electrical work.

    Hired these folks to fix a botched K&T inspection that ruined electrical throughout my house. The inspection was the standard price of $250 and very thorough. The work was done quicker than expected and since they were doing the work it was worth adding a few outlets and adding wired smoke alarms which was great. Ervis and Radha were so kind and professional. We vacated our house during the work and they were respectful of our kitty and our space while we were gone. Highly recommend these folks for all your electrical needs, and especially K&T repair.

    The Kuhlman team, and Ervis specifically, are so unbelievably professional and attentive. They installed a home EV charger and several ceiling fans. Handled all permitting work and personally cared about the quality of the work. We ran into some issues with 2 of the ceiling fans, and Ervis was very committed to fixing them. Turns out to be manufacturer issues that Kuhlman couldn’t control, but Ervis and team really want to solve the problem because they are committed to their craft of fine electrical work.     Indrit and Steve replaced my ceiling fan with utmost professionalism. They moved furniture and removed the old fan before installing the new one with a new fan box. They worked quickly, safely, and they cleaned the area afterwards in addition to reboxing the old fan and putting it into storage for me.     I just had Ervis come into my place today to help with a breaker box that was buzzing loudly in a 100+ year old home. He took the time to dissect the problem, explain to me what the issues could be, replace some faulty parts and we were up and running better than it was before. No more tripping breakers! He was on time, courteous, friendly, and honest. The pricing was more than fair for the time and work he put in. He also swapped out a loose outlet and light switch for me that were acting up as well. I highly recommend Ervis and the team and Kuhlman.

They made a minimum number of holes to complete the work and were very neat with their cuts and saving the removed pieces of drywall. Their office team was fantastic as well helping me through the entire project. The office team helped me with my insurance company as well.     I had a great experience using Kuhlman electric to install a new track and some ceiling lights. I had to reschedule the appointment a few times due to personal reasons and the rescheduling was very easy. On the day of the appointment, Ervis Bushi, Indrit Agalliu, Steve Minichiello arrived on time and worked very fast to finish the job in a few hours. Then they cleaned up after themselves.     I called Kuhlman for a small job that I needed to have done pretty quickly. This is exactly the kind of job that Ive had trouble with in the past. Either the electricians dont respond or they say that theyre too busy for a small job or they say they can come out in a month or so. Kuhlman was super responsive, we set something up the next day, and their electrician Ermal Goni was great. Would definitely recommend.

    Roy and Marc were on time every day to start the days work. They were always polite and professional explaining the planned work for the day. The work done was methodical and flowed through my old house. They were upgrading knob& tube wiring and it was a good five days work. They both were constantly working and I was able to work around them and keep my two dogs out of the way. Each day ended with a plan for the next so I could prepare. Two other family members were coming and going and it was never a problem for us or the electricians. I also want to mention Scott McLoud who originally came to inspect and evaluate the job. He is very personable and professional. We walked around the whole house together to determine the scope of the work. It was his professionalism that led me to hire Kuhlman Electrical Services and it was Roy and Marcs work ethic that makes me want to recommend them to anyone. I am sorry I didnt take any photos.

    I have to say, I spent a good deal of time working to choose a company and electricians to install my EV charger. I chose Kuhlman Electric because of the great reviews. I always assume there will be some minor issues with the service etc. There were none this time. My electricians were Ermal Goni and Radha Diaz, and they are/were the best! They actually called to say they could come early, they got right to work, they answered my questions, and the work is just excellent! I was anxious about this whole process, yet I am so happy and really glad I made the choice I did. The charger is flush against my house, the wiring seems seamless, and all is working well. Also, they offered a great quote, which is icing on the cake believe it or not. I did have others come out to give a quote. Kuhlman offered the best quote, had the best reviews, and delivered great service. I will recommend you any chance I get, thank you! Shout out to Ermal and Radha!

    I had two ceiling fans installed by Alfred Brown Ayres and Radha Diaz. They showed up on time and were efficient, knowledgable and kind. We actually needed some advise on what lighting to install in place of the lighting fixture we were having removed and the electrician who came out was able to give us a few good options, we ultimately went with track lighting installed on one of the beams in the room.Kuhlman Electrical came out and performed all of the work as quoted. They were prompt, professional and they did very good work. They were even able to complete two smaller jobs I didnt include in the original quote (installing two thermostats and extending my cable coax cable to a better spot in my living room). From end to end, my experience was friendly, professional and efficient. I will reccommend Kuhlman to anyone I know who needs electrical work done in their home.

    I would highly recommend using Kuhlman Electrical Services! I reached out without having a lot of knowledge about what the issue could be with my older home, and they got right back to me and scheduled an appointment for only a few days later.     I needed a home EV charger hardwired into my garage on a new circuit. KES provided a prompt, free, on-site quote. Compared to one other quote, KES was about 40% cheaper for the same work.     I have an older home, built 1901, which was converted to from a single- family to a two-family. In addition to an uncomfortable amount of shoddy electrical work having been done before I bought the home, there was also active Knob and Tube wiring which was detected during a Mass Save energy assessment back in 2017. In order to have my home weatherized, this K&T wiring would need to be removed. I was very nervous and intimated by the entire process, and actually dragged my feet for a couple years before moving forward.When it came time to get it done, I knew I needed an honest, professional and experienced electrical company to tackle this big project. Kuhlman Electric Services came very highly recommended. Jenny from their office was extremely responsive to my calls and emails, and was able to arrange an estimate with quick turnaround. David arrived in a matter of days to provide an estimate. He was very thorough and helpful, and got pricing over to me very quickly. They understood that I was balancing a few different projects and were very understanding and accommodating.Finally, it was time to get the work done - a five-day project. Ervis and Liam arrived on time every day, were professional, friendly, and very thorough. Despite the amount of work they had to do each day to extract this old wiring from my interior walls, youd never know it - because they cleaned up very well behind themselves, patched up the walls, vacuumed, etc. With my 18 month old at home during this work, they were very conscientious of her safety at all times went to great measures to work around our occupied house (dog included). Each day that I returned home from work, Ervis walked me through what was completed for the day. It was obvious he took great pride in the work he had done, and also apparent each day that he had gone above and beyond what was expected.All in all, I am so glad that I had this work done - and thats largely because of who i chose to do it! Lets face it, a project like this can be stressful and inconvenient, especially when were talking multiple days of foot-traffic and disruption of your daily routine.     Wow!! This company would get six stars if that was available. End to end, they were timely, professional, thorough, fast, and worked so well together that it even put our neighbors in a good mood. They moved and installed new panels for our two apartments plus a third for a common space, rerouting the wires for the entire house, a messy, complicated task in an old Victorian like ours. Ervis, their foreman, was direct and responsive, as well as caring and helpful with the larger project of which this work was a part. He’s amazing.     I had six light fixture boxes and a bathroom fan installed in a 1980s house. The switches I wanted to reuse previously controlled outlets, and Kuhlman was the only company that checked how they were wired before estimating the work that would need to be done. The setup I had is apparently no longer standard, and would involve an extra step when rewiring the switch/outlet.The team (Ervis Bushi, Indrit Agalliu, Radha Diaz, Steve Minichiello) finished everything in one day: figuring out my outdated, poorly-labeled electric panel; running new wiring from the basement to the first floor or across the room between switch and outlet and fixture; cutting out and installing the new boxes; moving a set of switches to a different wall; patching all the holes for the rewiring; and even sweeping/swiffering the floors. They were also very flexible (and patient lol) about the fixtures I asked them to install: one was old and did not come with a manual/spec sheet, and another was missing entirely (my fault) so they had to estimate the location and box size. They worked around these limitations with no issues, and everything turned out great!Overall a really great experience, and would definitely work with them again!

    I contacted KES on line. Someone got back to me immediately! They detailed $$ per hour and minimum time. If that was acceptable, they made an appointment. They asked for a description of the problem. That process was a pleasant surprise, having tried to get an electrician in the past.Electricians arrived on time the day of appointment. I had a ceiling fan that had exposed wires on top near the ceiling. It turned out that the top section had fallen down and needed to be resecured. This did not take the hour minimum time so the lead electrician (there were two) asked if there was anything else they could do, since I still had time. They replaced two outlets, which only worked on and off. I thought it was great that they wanted to give the customer their money’s worth. They worked efficiently, took the time to answer all of my questions and even spent time troubleshooting issues that weren’t scheduled. Kevin also followed up with me directly on a couple of questions that came up a few days later. I will definitely call them again for any future work!
