    I had the pleasure of getting Thomasā€™ support with what I thought was a leaky hot water heater, but turned out to be a condensate pump, phew! He was able to replace it right then and there with a new one in his truck. Great service and no games. Very professional! Highly recommend!

    Weve been very happy with Boston Standard ever since they installed our system in 2015. On the rare occasion weve needed them, theyre always responsive, efficient and respectful of our home and time. (The booties are a nice touch!) Theyre great to work with and we always trust that they will get the job done right. Two thumbs up.

    We needed to replace our failed central A/C and Boston Standard was the only one that gave us a reasonable time frame (3 days) to get the job done. Carlos, who headed the team of 3 or 4 workers, delivered a heat pump unit at 8 AM Saturday morning, as promised, and did a superb job testing and finishing before 2 PM. Very neat assembly and cleaned up both inside and outside. Boston Standard did all the paperwork for the energy rebate and now the house has never been this comfortable.

    Marlon and the team was awesome!! Everyone that came out to take care of the different parts of the project were very nice/patient/respectful. Especially Marlon, he is very patient with us/took his time to explain things, very respectful and asked what we want to do/where we want to place the different units. When we asked him for his opinion, he would explain to us why he would do it that way. Marlon went above and beyond to get the job done, cleaned the area of work, completing the job on a Saturday when they dont usually work on the weekends. We really appreciate all that he and his team had done.Corey the project manager was great as well! He was quick to respond to messages and helped submit documentation to make the pre-work process seamless.

    I feel so fortunate to have discovered Boston Standard Company. They were the only responsive company that would come out the day I needed them as the furnace stopped working the night before. My place had no heat & it was in the low 30s outside. I was soo impressed with each person I met in the process from the start - Michelle, Juarez, Leo, Fred and Peter the technician. I am grateful for my technicians who got the new furnace installed quickly. Such a thorough, thoughtful, dependable, considerate & professional company! THANK YOU!

    Woke to the boiler not lighting. Called around and Boston Standard was the most responsive. Worked with Linda, Mike, and Nick to resolve the issue. Mike was prompt and able to assess the problem quickly and worked to find the part at a reasonable price. Linda was in constant contact with me regarding the part order and scheduling the installation. Nick showed up on time and was able to get us up and running very quickly. He even pointed out some areas on the boiler that should be watched and addressed, and gave me a quote without any pressure to move forward now. It was a real pleasure working with them all and would highly recommend Boston Standard!

    Technician Davidson and his assistant James were fantastic installing my new heating / cooling system. They were thoughtful, extremely experienced, reliable and liked after my big dog Jasper when I had to go to work during one of the installation days.Iā€™ve worked with Boston Standard for years and have always had great experiences.     I had Boston Standard remove an unused gas heating stove from my living room. Their rep, Thomas, had great suggestions for how to handle minimizing and capping off the piping remaining in my basement that went to the unit that I hadnā€™t though of. He was great! Reasonably priced and professional. I would highly recommend this company.

The process of making the appointment on the phone with Grace and the texting communication leading up to the appointment made an unfortunate situation of my heat not working as easy and stress-free as possible.     Really happy. Dom showed up within the window given and was professional and friendly! He took the time to explain to me what he was going to do, saved photos of the internals of my heat/AC/water heater so I can see what ended up needing to be done.Glad I called this company, a lot of HVAC firms wont even respond these days, but I will be calling back for another annual service next year!

    Jeff Hill came to our house a couple of times to fix our Navien water/heat machine. He was careful and meticulous, which was needed since the machine was having several problems. I got the sense that I was in good hands -- he is a professional that thinks and analyzes the situation without rushing. The machine appears finally to have been fixed!! Jeff was also responsive to the stress that having no heat and hot water puts on his customers. I will definitely continue using Boston Standard. When you call a real person answers!!

    Many years ago Boston Standard METICULOUSLY installed TWO new furnaces in my home.Five years later I sold that home and ā€œinheritedā€ the furnace that came with my very old ā€œnewā€ house. But Iā€™ve always been uncertain about both the furnace and any service done to it, as my ā€œnew homeā€ inspector missed a LOT of red flags that quickly became MAJOR issues.Recently I saw a sign advertising a winter service special by Boston Standard and called for an appointment while still standing in front of the sign. Time to finally take action.Now only one week since that phone call, their professional service reps just finished the inspection and afterward agreed it would be wise to have the furnace cleaned and hot water tank flushed.When I told them Iā€™d make a future appointment for that, they MADE the time and did BOTH, the logic being they were already here!I am SO PLEASED with Boston Standardā€™s own standards of performance and professionalism that I recommend them, HIGHLY.

    I found Boston Standard through search after my furnace stopped working. After troubleshooting I identified the problem to be electrical related. Called them up as a new customer and they were incredibly polite over the phone and tried to get a technician in as soon as possible.Today I met Joarez and he was incredibly polite and knowledgeable. Even though I scheduled just a troubleshooting call, Joarez was able toIdentify the issue, provide me with recommendations and resolve the problem in little over few hours.

    Ive seen their trucks in my neighborhood and it was urgent. My previous contractors no longer in business. On a Sunday morning(!) about 7AM frantic, called and was told I would be placed on a wait list. Not being a regular customer I was down and set the bar low. I receive a text early afternoon and the technician was here before the anticipated time frame and he was EXCELLENT! Diagnosed the problem and we were up and running in about an hour (less than two). Boston Standard will be my standard going forward. Can not recommend enough and I hope they will not get overblown for my sake as happened before with others I have experienced.

    THANK YOU!!! Boston Standard Company is now the only company I will ever trust working on my HVAC system. I found BSC after an AWFUL experience with another HVAC company here in Boston, where they charged me thousands of dollars to not even find the main root of the issue and then proceeded to be extremely rude and unprofessional to me. Thatā€™s when I called Boston Standard Company, where I was met with amazing customer service for scheduling etc. They immediately had a technician to my house that evening, since we were having extremely hot days they wanted to inspect the unit so they knew exactly what tests they needed to run. The testing was completed within a couple of days, it can take up to 3-4 hours so it was a big time window they had to block out. This technician found the MAIN ISSUE!!! There was a leak in our condenser (no other company said ANYTHING about this) he also pointed out that our system and our neighbors systems are missing a crucial piece to the condenser. This man knew his STUFF! A true professional! Now, we were able to help out our neighbors and give them the heads up so they donā€™t run into the same issues we did..     I recently had an exceptional experience with Boston Standard Plumbing that Im eager to share. The technician, Kai, demonstrated a high level of expertise. He accurately diagnosed the plumbing issues and provided a clear explanations of what needed to be fixed and how to maintain it for longevity. His professionalism, efficiency, and kindness made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Dealing with plumbing problems can be a headache; I know because I cheaped out last time, didnt hire these guys, and it caused massive issues. But with Boston Standard Plumbing, I felt confident I was in good hands.On the other hand, my previous experience with Boston Budget Plumbing was disappointing. Both the disposal and dishwasher installation could have been done better. The last garbage disposal I purchased, despite its high horsepower and the promise of handling everything from chicken wings to cherry pits, lasted less than two years due to constant leaks from a shoddy installation. The Budget companys installation had me leaking within months. Boston Budget never even finished installing my dishwasher, which moves around constantly. They have similar names but are vastly different in quality. Boston Standard is far better than Boston Budget. While Boston Standard may come with an initial higher price tag, the peace of mind it offers with its high-quality workmanship and guarantees far outweighs the cost. Its a wise investment to pay a little extra for work done right the first time. Trust me, being leaky sucks, but with Boston Standard, youā€™re in good hands.Get the guys in the blue and white work vans, not the orange ones, and yes, youll see the difference. I stand by this steadfastness regarding how great one is and how terrible the other one is. Ultimately, choosing a plumbing service is crucial; you want to avoid leaks right after an installation and not have to pay to have something done twice. Boston Standard Plumbing was more cost-effective and spared me the hassle of dealing with subpar service and multiple visits.
