    Ive had work done on my house a few times by Scott and his team. They are always professional, courteous, on time, and do great work.     Scott and his team are true professionals. I reached out to him on a Monday and he called me right back . He was very punctual and a great communicator throughout the whole job. He installed multiple recessed lights and was even able to coordinate a painter to come and and do touch up work that i needed, saving me time and money.     Scott and his crew came to re-wire my kitchen and in doing so, found some old and dangerous wiring issues from the previous owners! They quickly addressed the issues without gouging us price wise, and we can now sleep better knowing the wiring is safe. And the work in the kitchen came out amazing.     Scott Hayes and his team at colonial electric are fantastic, I needed to change out an electrical panel and got some quotes from other companies and some never even called me back, Scott got back to me right away and the price was excellent, he gave me a date when he was going to do the job and when he would be finished. He showed up right on time with another guy and finished exactly when he said he would. He also told me about a national grid rebate that I did not know about which will save me a ton of money. While Scott was at my house I asked him to change out some older electrical plugs and to install a ceiling fan and he banged it out in no time. Scott and his help were neat and cleaned up after themselves.As I was getting ready to pay him for everything and I told him that I was not looking forward to putting up all the Christmas lights because I hate ladders and he explained to me that he has a program/service that he installs these puck lights that stay up year round and are not noticeable and you can change the colors from your phone and they are Leds so it is very cost efficient and you can make them green for St Patricks day and red white and blue for the 4th of July and tons of colors for Christmas or just solid white and they can blink or they have rotating colors so we are having them install them in a couple of weeks for the holidays. If I could give Colonial Electric more than 5 stars I would they are friendly with very fair prices and do very high quality work, so do yourself a favor and give them a shot and I promise you wont be disappointed.

    I called Scott on a Monday and he was able to schedule me for Wednesday. He was great about communicating. Sent me texts with questions, and I could tell he was thinking about how to solve my issue even before he got here. He arrived about 10 minutes early (unheard of)! The recessed lighting in my bedroom was flickering. He did a thorough check of my electrical panel and then opened up the switches to the bedroom lights to problem solve. He went above and beyond, calling the manufacturer of the light switches to check compatibility and troubleshoot with them. He found the electrician that originally installed the lights did not wire them properly, so he fixed all of the wiring and even straightened out the crooked switch plate! Would definitely recommend Scott, and would hire him again.
