Recently had Filan and Conner come out to fix some faulty gas lines. They were easy to deal with and have fair pricing. The technician Buck who completed the job was fantastic. He was professional and courteous. He treated my home as if it was his own. He also easily explained the work needed to be done in a way I could understand. After the work was completed, he walked me through the repairs he made, they were extremely thorough. I couldnt recommend this company enough!

First , thank you F&C for coming out 9pm on Christmas Eve to support the initial phone trouble shooting the Heater to see if it could be fixed/ repaired. Nick via phone and Kiet at our home did all they could do trouble shooting ,without parts for a 20 year old system , with the holiday & weekend , it was major hurtles to source parts and was not solved , the heater remained off line. Fast forward Tuesday after Xmas- Tony R. he was able to come out early Tuesday to estimate New Heater and AC (because that will be the next to go with older system) , Tony, Samantha / Savanna (sorry if I got that name wrong ) had us scheduled the next day (Wednesday) for install. After calling to confirm “on the way” in the AM, Sam - technician and his team of techs/ apprentices were here on time, install was done before early evening. They were respectful of me my pets and my home, and explained anything I had questioned during the install. It’s a beautiful efficient system (Rheem) and cannot be more thankful for the professional work of Filan & Conner Manager, Coordinators and technicians/ apprentices. Great job and thank you. We have heat…, more efficient heat and AC. Happy New Year!

This was our first big renovation so didnt know what to expect but this was completed in about 3 weeks and we are extremely pleased with the results. I am very satisfied with service of Mr.Buck who installed two sink vanity water and drain pipeline system form one sink vanity system, repaired broken old main water pipe line, and replace outside broken pipeline and faucet. He even contacted township water company to repair outside water system that comes from the street to my house and neighbor after finding problems. He found out possible problems ahead to reduce bigger future possible damages.I am very thankful for his professional mind and his ability to handle all kind of plumbing problems at the fair price. Very grateful for the helpful team at Filan & Conner. Our furnace stopped working on one of coldest days we’ve had so far, with an impending snowstorm. I called and spoke to a friendly staff member (Amy). She assured me someone would be out to help that day! Their technician, Van, arrived quickly. He was able to troubleshoot the furnace and ran out to get the specific piece we needed. Van was respectful and gave me some good advice to keep my furnace running properly. Let me start of by saying holy cow! These guys were fantastic from start to finish. Everyone from Tony and Jen in the office to the techs Nick, Danny, Mark, and Butch were great to work with (especially Nick since he was the tech here the most). I had two HVAC systems converted from oil equipment to natural gas, a hot water heater installed, and ran 2 gas lines to my range and outdoor grill. These guys worked with me the entire time from getting the financing through the gas company, scheduling of the work, and completion of the job. Even when unexpected problems occured, as they always seem to do, the whole team was responsive and fixed the problem pronto. The work itself was exceptional and efficient. The techs were very knowledgeable, courteous of the cleanliness of my home, and understanding of my three dogs running around. I could not recommend these guys more. And do not even get me started on the price. This was probably the best bang for the buck Ive received on anything. I have never written a review before, thats how good the entire experience was. Use this company! Theyre good people.

They were actually early in arriving, they took great care in removing the old toilets and installing the new ones, and the work was neat and professional. We then used them for installation of a garbage disposal, and that was also a great job. I was very impressed by the care the installer used in keeping the house clean. Called Filan Conner for an estimate after I came home to broken heater. Out of several companies they responded first and were able to get my heater fixed in less than 24 hours. Installers, particularly Matt, were all fantastic. They went above and beyond with every request I had. They even helped me fix my basement sink. They were there for the HVAC and hot water heater. Eric DOttaviano came twice within the month. First to fix a broken garbage disposal and second to repair a leaky bathroom pipe.. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and he got the work done in a timely manner and at a good price.will definitely use this service again.Well, some years later, I needed further services. Filan & Connor sent me Chris, in response to some significant shower difficulties, with temperature and pressure.Chris spent about 4 hours diagnosing and fixing the problem. He told me he did not like to ge beaten by ay plumbing issue. I appreciated his dedication to his caft, and, indeed, he solved and corrected my problem..I recommend Filan & Conner to any homeowner in need of quality pluming services. They have done big jobs for me (replaced a sewer line) and small jobs, (repairing a sink disposal) and now they have fixed my shower. Prices are fair, but not cheap. You get what you pay for.Filan & Conner are worth it.

We have been using Filan & Conner for plumbing services at the recommendation of our former plumber, who retired. They have always done a thorough job and are fair priced. Each time weve had different member of their plumbing staff but theyve all been really good, skilled, and friendly. Will continue to use them for as long as we can.July 2024 Update - we have continued to used Filan & Conner for all of our HVAC (and plumbing) needs. Most recently, we needed to replace three A/C condensers. They provided us with a quick assessment, quote, scheduled us for installation quickly. Compared to others I know that paid for one system (through another company), we had three installed for only about double the price. It did not cost us much more to change out the furnaces either (two in the attic and one in the basement). Filan & Conner also coordinated our financing with PSE&G to make the process a little easier for us. The techs spent two days at our house and worked in a way that did not cause much of any disruption to our personal/work lives at home. They were courteous and respectful and got the job done promptly. They swiftly removed and disposed of the old equipment and system without our awareness despite it being large and clunky. We went from having a 96 degree room to a comfortable 72 degrees quickly and efficiently. We cannot recommend them enough. The owner, Brian, seems to take much pride in his business and will attend to matters personally if needed. Thank you again Filan & Conner for being a trusted HVAC and plumbing provider for our home and family.

You guys picked up that same day and scheduled to come out the next! Part and installation only 700! Amazing price and service will def be using Filan and Conner for ALL future needs!

On 6/11/19, I had my sewer line clogged for the 6th time in 6 months. I used my sewer auger and cleared it, but after pulling it back it became stuck. I had issues with roots before, so I assumed it was caught. My sewer was technically working, but my sewer auger was stuck somewhere in the sewer pipe.For perspective, the first time (January 2019) I used Roto-Rooter who charged ~$450 to snake the sewer, didn’t use a camera (said would break the camera) due to the J-pipe (later found out, no J-pipe), and proceeded to try to sell me $4,200 to change out the non-existent J-pipe.This time I looked for a company with stellar reviews: they’re highly ranked on Google, Angie’s and Homeadvisor. Called on 6/12/19, got Joe to come out on 6/14, who used a camera for $300 (fair) and diagnosed that my auger hit an obstruction and then tunneled through my metal sewer pipe, thus it became stuck. Joe tried to free it but it was stuck too far down the line, about 2 feet from the house. Said the work to replace the sewer pipe section would probably be $2,500-$3,000. This was less than I saw estimates for online, granted my line is fairly shallow and not far from the main street.On 6/15, I called to check on the status, a dispatcher picked up and took down my info. Less than an hour later, a person called to make sure it wasn’t an emergency. It wasn’t, but I was immediately impressed that they followed up to make sure.On 6/17, I called for status, and they had reached out on 6/21 to the borough for any permits that Collingswood required. The Collingswood permit person was on vacation, so we were delayed. On 6/18, I got the estimate, which was $2,500; $2,750 after tax. We were scheduled for 6/22, but they had a cancellation and came out 6/21 after checking with me. Again, my sewer was working, just in bad shape with a sewer auger stuck in it, so there wasn’t a rush necessarily.9am on 6/21, Eric came out with a helper, introduced himself with the paperwork and recapped the agreed upon work. He was done by 2pm, sent me pictures of his work: he was able to free and save the sewer snake, properly secured the new pvc sewer pipe and reinforced some parts which were weak, informed me of a 2 pvc pipe piece that was stuck in the drain (which was the cause of the auger diverting into my metal pipe), and he removed a bunch of roots which weren’t part of the quote. The work site was neat after they were done. The estimate was what I paid, no surprises.It was amazing. I honestly wouldn’t recommend any other company; Filan & Conner are possibly the best with service, covering all the legal bases, and pricing.

He came out two weeks earlier and diagnosed it was an issue with the four-year-old Kohler faucet that had a lifetime warranty. He suggested that Kohler needed to send a completely new faucet due to the electronics of the existing faucet possibly being damaged. Kohler supplied a new faucet under their warranty.

The Filan & Conner team sent Josh to my house. Before entering my house, Josh put on the booties without being asked.I explained the issues. Josh immediately explained the good and the not-so good; 100% transparency. Josh explained that it might not be that bad, he wouldnt know until he was doing the work.The not-so good avenue did not happen; saved a bunch of cash.Josh respected my house and was not only a professional, but a gentleman.

I can sum up my experience in one word “EXCELLENT”. Not only does this company do an amazing job, but they are timely, professional, reasonably priced and have the best customer service. My heater went out and it was freezing! I was getting the run around from my home warranty company and got so frustrated that I decided to cancel my home warranty contract and have someone else replace the furnace. As fate would have it I wound up having Frank and his son from Filan Conner come out to take a look at my unit. Those two along with Sam and Jennifer have hearts of gold. During the most recent heat wave, my AC unit began to fail and was unable to effectively cool my home. I contacted Filan & Conner for a service request and was pleasantly surprised by how attentive the scheduling coordinator was to my situation. I was able to have a technician at my home the next day. The technician, Nick, contacted me when he was en route. Once he arrived, he was able to successfully diagnose the issue and had the system working shortly thereafter. Nick explain his diagnosis and the necessary steps he then had to take to correct the problem. From my initial call to meeting the technician, I was completely impressed by the courtesy and professionalism of the Filan & Conner staff. I would definitely recommend this company, and they now have a customer for life!

I highly recommend Filan & Conner. I hired them to install 2 zone central air-conditioning in my 1907 two story house which has radiators and no ducts. Each person I dealt with was highly professional, and the price was reasonable. They did a wonderful job and cleaned up after themselves. I have the original pine floors through which they made clean cuts for the vents with absolutely no damage. They immediately repaired the minor plaster ceiling damage on the second floor. I was so pleased with their work and responsiveness that I then had Filan & Conner replace my old boiler and water heater with a new single high efficiency unit which I am also happy with. They will definitely be my go to plumbers here on in.

I did a thorough research of contractors to have my entire 37 yo HVAC and water heater replaced. It served me well. Each contractor (5) was responsive and provided detailed estimates. All of them came in about the same price, deposit requirements were different - some wanted 50% upfront (YIKES), and scheduling was an issue. Some not until late December or January. My needs werent an emergency and I am sure I could have waited. There were several reasons I chose Filan & Conner - they let me choose when I wanted the work done, they didnt ask for an arm and a leg for a deposit, and they didnt try to upsell. I got what I needed and nothing more. Installers were friendly and got the all day job done with few if any issues. Cleanup was exceptional. The manager, Tony, even stopped by to check in and see how everything was going. A nice touch. Im very happy with the service.

Best Customer Service EVER. Our 4-year old tankless water heater developed a pinhole leak in the heat exchanger and required replacement. Filan & Conner installed it originally and it was still under parts warranty, but the labor warranty was expired. Filan & Conner sent two plumbers out to exchange it with the new updated model, and they were completely done in little more than an hour. That was unbelievable itself! Watching them work was was like watching a well-oiled machine. As their plumbers were wrapping things up, I received a call from one of the supervisors to discuss their labor bill: zero. They are going to call the manufacturer for reimbursement out-of-warranty, at no cost to us. You simply cant ask for more.This is one reason why Filan & Conner is my go-to plumber. Jordan and Butch were on-site first thing Tuesday morning ready to go, and put in about 12 hours of work to get the job done in one day. The main drain for my house clogged and I called for service. Although I was given a 3 hour time frame which I was fine with as they were helping me out of a major bind Buck was onsite within an hour. Buck was the ultimate professional. He had the drain unclogged and toilet reinstalled within an hour. Buck asked us to fill the tub, then empty the tub, flush the toilet and run the kitchen sink to make sure the job was complete. Buck showed me the water flow at the clean out by the curb to ensure the clog was cleared and the drain was free flowing. I just had some plumbing repair performed on a hot water copper line at my home. These guys are great. I called and left a voicemail initially for a quote. The office got right back to me, eventually quoting same day from pictures of the area. They scheduled the work on a tight timeline and communicated well about plumber availability. When their plumber got sick, they called proactively to reschedule. They gave a timeslot like a cable-team ~4 hours, but arrived right at the start of the block. They finished the repair in less than an hour and honored the quoted price precisely without any argument. They have all the licenses needed for the work in New Jersey and were a genuine pleasure to work with. Id definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone. It can be challenging to find good contractors in NJ and I would definitely say this company is a good one.

A year ago I had my HVAC completely replaced. I called several big name places for estimates and when Tony, the manager, came out to assess and provide an estimate, I was blown away and then when I saw it in writing I was very impressed. Not only were they a few thousand, yes thousand dollars cheaper but they were out the next week to replace my Air Condition in the summer. My HVAC was the original from when my home was built in the 60s so it was a very big job and their team removed, replaced and installed the air handler in the attic and the fan on the outside all in one day! I was thrilled and so were my young children.I recently had them come out again to replace my garbage disposal and then needed them to fix a leak I had from my kitchen sink. It was so bad it damaged the ceiling below. Pricing is very competitive and they use high quality tools. Their plumbers have been in the business for 15 yrs and really have seen it all. Very knowledgeable and professional. They first came out to fix a leak - then I used them to install a new garbage disposal. They told me of another leak they saw and the piping was really worn down. They removed the old and took the piping to the ceiling under the kitchen sink repairing all the old with new copper piping. They went above and beyond. Very nice people to work with and they really do care about the work they do. If you have a problem with anything after a job, they will answer you and be out to assist the next day. They also are on call on the weekends if an emergency were to pop up. I have also had them replace my entire air conditioning units from the ceiling to outside. They are worth your time to make a call.

Truly exceptional service. Forced air heat made my home uncomfortably dry so I called to ask about installing a whole home humidifier. Tony, a manager, came out to my house that same day to provide an estimate. He walked me through the various options, explained what he’d recommend, and patiently answered all of my questions. Two days later, Nick, a service technician, came out to install the humidifier. He took care to orient it in the least obtrusive way, installed it very quickly, answered all of my questions about the unit and the installation, and demonstrated how to operate it. Now just two days after first calling Filan & Conner, the air in my house is comfortable to breathe, my wood floors and furniture are happy with the better humidity level, and I know exactly who I’ll be calling the next time I have an HVAC or plumbing need.

We called and less than 24 hours later (which he said when he came out to give quote-“if you have no heat we will squeeze you in”, and he was true to his word!).During installing-laid down protective walk area through house, answered every single question kindly and were super informative. Did the work and stayed till completed and cleaned up nicely!!Afterward-something seemed off so I called (like he said if I needed anything) at 10pm and on call came out with another guy to fix the issue. The big HVAC companies were overpriced and really didn’t have a good plan for dealing with our old house layout, and the smaller one or two man companies just really didn’t seem up to completing all the different aspects of the job in a timely manner. I kept looking and started to include Plumbing and HVAC companies and I contacted Filan and Conner in West Berlin NJ. Later that same day Tony Richardson, the HVAC manager, came out to detail and estimate the job and included all the necessary adjustments to the new high efficiency system to make it function properly in our 100+ year old home. I had met with a lot of companies and my brother is in the HVAC business so I had the benefit of a lot of ideas and information and Tony’s evaluation of our needs were pretty much what I knew was needed. The estimate came the next day. A couple of phone calls later and 5 days after signing the contract , a fleet of 4 trucks were in our driveway and in only two and a half days the team of guys removed the old systems, replaced 2 furnaces and 2 outside A/C condensers, reworked cold air supply, added new ducts, replaced the hot water heater with a power vent unit, ran new condensate and sump lines, pulled new lines to the new Wi-Fi thermostats and sealed off the old chimney. A lot of work and the crew Nick, Pat, Norm, Butch and Kyle could not have been nicer or more professional. The crew worked clean using floor tarps and never left any debris. During the mid-winter switch-out we were without heat and hot water for such a short period of time (2-3 hours) we hardly noticed.I don’t usually write reviews but HVAC systems are expensive and complicated and I just wanted to let other people who are looking for a HVAC/PLUMBING company that after checking out lots of estimates and contractors I am very glad I went with this company. I needed to promptly replace a Kitchen faucet that periodically leaked (even with several replaced cartridges) and most recently caused severe water damage and mold to our hardwood flooring. I called Filan & Connor and asked to speak with a knowledgeable person who could advise me on a “worry-free” faucet replacement. Within minutes I received a return call and, as a result of that conversation, determined that Kohler was the only faucet I would purchase. I am pleased to say that yesterday Filan’s plumber installed a beautiful goose-necked faucet. Timing is everything, as today begins the expensive process of having our flooring repaired. Inspected the problem we had, told my wife exactly what would be done and gave her a written estimate for work to be done. Dont even bother calling any other plumbing company, and this is why. Over the past month I have had 3 different water issues. The first 2 were on seperate shower/tubs within a week of each other. Each time i called in the morning, and they had someone out that day. The most recent was 24 hours ago I found my hot water heater leaking! We called at 730pm and spoke with one of their on call plumbers to make sure everything was ok until the morning. At 730am the next morning we had someone out to inspect the hot water heater, which needed to be replaced (15 years old). By 730pm that same day they had our new hot water heater installed. This is fantastic since it was 30 degrees outside! The work was great on each job. For each job I called around and no one could come here sooner. The prices were reasonable and around the same or a little lower then the other plumbers I called. Each job had a different technician come out, but that didnt matter. Each technician was professional, knowledgeable and personable. The schedulers also did a great job when I called, making sure they understood my water problems and getting the technicians out quickly each time. This company has earned themselves this loyal customer through their consistent knowledge, teamwork , customer service, and their quality of service. Great job all around!

Unfortunately, they got backed up but they called me to ask if they could reschedule for the next morning. They fixed the problem and explain it to me. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because of the pricing but honestly I do not know if it was the average cost for the work done.
