Needed a plumber quickly, could Not wait for a maybe… tomorrow. Called Lakeview Mechanical. Joe was fixing my clogged bathtub and bar sink in the basement. Fast , knowledgeable, and clean up after his work was completed. For sure the MNF game is on Go Lions , the niners are going down the drain. From the initial phone call, through writing the check, they are helpful, polite and respectful. These guys are in 1st place.

I just had a furnace install yesterday 1/20/2020. Mike W & Chris W did a phenominal job. Their attention to detail was outstanding and the furnace, Humidifier, Humidistat, and Condensate Pump are perfectly installed.Kevin in sheetmetal cut everything perfectly for Mike and Chris for the install. Don rescued me on New Years Day when my furnace went out. During his process to get it going he said Nick....I think its time for a furnace. My furnace was 26 years old, despite getting it running he pointed out things going bad. He did not charge me for the service call because I took his advice to get a new system.I purchased a beautiful Rheem Furnace and super nice humidifier and condesate pump. Mike and Chris were Rock Solid. I cant thank these guys enough, they really looked after me and made sure everything was perfect. Lakeview also installed a super nice Rheem water tank for me previously.My son is also in HVAC, he has field experience but works in Distributor Sales. He knows good work when he sees it and really liked talking to Don. They talked shop when Don took care of us on News Years Day 2020. Don explained to Tony what he thought was going on and Tony followed his explanations. They both explained to me what was happening with my previous system. Tony was so impressed with the guys and their quality of work.As far as electrical I have had Lakeview install three very nice high end fans for me with the related wall controls. Perfect, clean job as well. Lakeview Mechanical is outstanding and great people to work with.This company gets down to business, there is no fluff or fancy marketing. Lakeview is absolutely spectacular! I called in the middle of the night because my tub backed up and my toilet wouldnt flush. Matt came and checked everything out. Turns out I had a broken sewer line. Matt and Thomas explained everything so that I completely understood what was going on. They cleared the original obstruction and told me I could call them at any time between then and my appointment for repair, which provided tremendous peace of mind. They explained all the financing options to me, which took the stress out of the expense. On the appointed day, Mason and Ethan came. They were very courteous and professional and, much to my delighted surprise, they finished the entire job in one day! They had to come in and out of my house and they were completely trustworthy, not to mention clean--they didnt leave so much as a dusty footprint behind. I have heard so many horror stories from friends who went through a similar experience, so Ive been dreading having to have this done almost from the time I bought my house nearly 20 years ago. If I had known there were people like the guys at Lakeview, though, I wouldnt have been nearly as stressed out about it, because they took great care of me! I would 100% recommend Lakeview, 15 out of 10 stars!

I had a plumbing emergency last night around 11 pm. Sewage backing up into the tub. I called Lakeview and a plumber arrived within 30 minutes. He was friendly and diagnosed the issue quickly. The price charged for an emergency, late-night, call was fair. I would use them again.

I have nothing but good things to say about every tech and worker at Lakeview. We have been using them for the past 20 years and they have treated us great. Honest and fair on pricing.Just had new furnace installed in the dead of winter, they were out and got new installed in no time. air conditioner will be installed in spring. Day after Christmas out basement drain backed up and they were out same day. Joe came out with another guy(sorry forgot his name). They talked to my insurance company with me to make sure claim was filed correctly. I could go on and on. They are a great company and I would recommend them to anyone.

I’m writing this review on behalf of my mother in law who raved about the service she received from Lakeview. The water heater was leaking. Instead of just replacing the entire water heater, Chad from Lakeview took time to troubleshoot and found that the piping just needed to be replaced. He saved her hundreds of dollars! Any other company would have just replaced the entire thing and would not have taken the extra time to troubleshoot. This is the third time she has used Lakeview and she can confidently say they are an extremely reliable and trustworthy company. She would recommend them to anyone!!

They replaced my thru-wall AC unit within a day of me reaching out to them! I had been calling around for weeks to find a company that would be willing to do it, and they were able to come next day for a reasonable price, and made sure it was functioning, and insulated well!Pricing was very fair! I told them about a quote that I got from another company on a larger job in my home and they said their estimate would have been for half of what I was told. Wish I had started working with them sooner. Will definitely be using them again when my house decides to fall apart on me!

Had some plumbing issues late on a Thursday night. Joe Kennedy was the person who came out to my home. He discovered a MAJOR issue (main pipe) but was able to put temporary fix in place until the issue could be addressed with a permanent fix. Joe was the lead for the job. Joe is professional , knowledgeable and communicated with me through the entire ordeal. He addressed all my questions and concerns and made the situation bearable. The entire crew was great, they cleaned up after the job and took steps to protect my home. I have had Lakeview at my home multiple times and will continue to do so. Thank you.

Bathroom was leaking into the kitchen. They were able to send someone out with 24 hours to find the problem. Josh came out and found the problem within 30 minutes and gave us two options. They gave us the estimate upfront. We had the problem corrected in two days. And they stuck to their estimate with no hidden extras! They had to cut through the kitchen ceiling and contained their work area. No plaster dust any where and the cleaned up after they were done. Can’t wait for Lakeview to come back to put in air conditioning. Josh and Dallas were professional and clean. No disruption and no mess. Will definitely recommend and use Lakeview in the future!

Lakeview Mechanical does it again! Our furnace went out during the cold snap on Sunday night. We called Lakeview and although they were booked solid that evening, they were in my driveway at 9:00 am the following morning. Our repair person Dave, was professional, courteous and diagnosed our problem quickly. Even though he had to make a quick run for parts, he had our furnace up and running in under 2 hours. Thank you Dave and Lakeview Mechanical! You are always our first choice!

As you know we experienced a lot of rain in a short amount of time and some of us had our basements flooded. Just as bad as it was in 2014. I knew this time the damage was bad to my Hot Water Tank and would need to be replaced. I called on a plumber, but lo and behold, my air went out...well the blower fan. Since this particular plumber was swamped and really only did plumbing, I needed someone to do both. Lakeview Mechanical was the solution. I had dealt with them before on a friends renovation of their large home about 25 yrs. ago. I have seen their Vans still all over, so I knew they were still in business. I called and was immediately told the Hot Water, if in the flood should be replaced. I said I was aware. They came out that same day to install a new one and had scheduled an Air Conditioning contractor for that afternoon. Well, they called me around 2:30pm to say that it the air conditioning had to be rescheduled for the next day. I didnt mind at all, even though it was hot, I wanted to enjoy my hot water with a lengthy shower and put my pjs on, not matter what time I was done. LOL All the workers were friendly, pleasant and professional. They went above and beyond, which has put me at ease. I will be using their services again. Ed was understanding and cooperative with respects to this unexpected dual expense. The company offers their business credit cards with financing available. Check them out. I have more projects for them, but need to take a break for a bit, however, they are the ones I will call. I suggest you call them first.

They were honest and trustworthy and their workmanship doesnt compare to the other shoddy, undercutting companies I have used in the past. I decided to get a new furnace put in because I knew they would do a excellent job at the best price. Thanks to Dave C for doing a job well done. Will be telling friends and family about Lakeview!

I had a sewer line break in front of my house. My usual guy recommended Lakeview Mechanical. Am I glad he did. Josh, who responded to my call, came out , inspected and answered all my questions (and I had a lot). I got a great price, everyone I spoke to was polite, the work was done in one day, and the clean up was amazing. I was expecting a huge mess as I had to have similar work done years ago, but there was no mess left behind. There is a mound of dirt,which is standard with sewer line repair, but they made it as unobtrusive as possible. They cleaned up my sidewalk, my grass, everything. Very friendly and very professional.

He put me in touch with Chris to discuss things in more detail. Chris was great. Super informative and thorough in the phone call and in-home estimate. Very honest and down to earth. Job well done. I highly recommend this company.

Several years ago my elderly parents up in Romeo had a problem where their toilet would not completely flush. The bowl would overflow then would only slowly drain down. They called a local plumber who came out and claimed the toilet needed to be replaced despite it being relatively new and previously working well. They had the toilet replaced but unfortunately that did not fix the problem. My parents then called another plumber who discovered a blockage in the drain pipe out away from the house but he was unsuccessful in restoring the flow using a snake and didn’t know exactly where underground the pipe was that was blocked but suggested digging up the gravel driveway as he was sure that the drain ran under the driveway out to the city sewer main. Based upon a recommendation my mother then called Lakeview. Mike quickly came out, ran a camera out to look at the blockage, then went out in the yard and using a locating device, pinpointed where the camera had stopped which was exactly where the blockage was (some 60 ft away from the house out in their backyard). My parents agreed to Lakeview’s recommendation to dig up and repair the 100 year old plugged pipe. The next day Lakeview pulled a permit for repairs but the village inspector found it hard to believe the drain pipe was where Lakeview had said it was in the back yard. Curious, the inspector came out to watch the work and was amazed to learn there was a working sewer main (not in any of their books) which ran off to the side of my parents house. Despite heavy equipment being in my parents backyard and all the work that was done my mother was thrilled to not only have the problem fixed but to also see minimal disruption to her yard!A few years later after heavy spring rains, my home in Sterling Heights developed drain backup problems and our basement flooded. In a panic and not even thinking of Lakeview I went to the yellow pages and had the first plumber I could get ahold of come out to our house. They verified our drains were clear between our house and the city main sewer pipe under the street. I then met with the city engineers and DPW but the answers I got always changed and quite honestly we’re not forthcoming. After many meetings, and a couple more floods over the next several years I realized they were not going to help me with this problem despite it being caused by the their mains backing up. I then went to the yellow pages and got quotes from 3 “dry basement” companies to fix this issue. We went with the most expensive quote because this company provided a lifetime warranty. After spending over $10,000 the repairs only partially worked and the company did not know what more they could do.During a subsequent basement remodel I decided to replace some plumbing and had Lakeview out. Mike showed up and gave me a quote. It was at this time I shared with him everything we had done in an attempt to understand and stop the basement flooding issues. In 10 minutes he shared with me everything I had been trying to learn over the past several years and even knowing we had another company that was going to do the repairs because of their lifetime warranty he still reviewed with me the remaining repairs we needed to have done to stop the flooding. The next day one of Lakeview’s plumbers came out and when I told him I was a handy guy but just never had been taught how to solder pipe, he taught me! I then contacted the basement repair company and they implemented Mikes suggested repairs which then stopped the basement floods for good!To me they are hands down the best and only plumbers in Southeastern Michigan I will use!

Thomas S and Joe both saved the day twice this week at my moms condo. The first time both sump pumps (primary and battery backup) failed during a storm and the water was rising. They came promptly, cleaned the pumps and got them running again. Then again last night during a terrible storm they failed again. The primary was fried. Joe came right out within 45m and replaced the main. We had 4-5 of water in the basement but its not their fault. They were extremely responsive, answered our calls and got us realistic ETAs, showing us how trustworthy, responsible and responsive they are. Big thank you to Lake View, but particularly to these two professionals.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Charlie and his crew at Lakeview Mechanical. I had a pipe burst under the cement in basement. I called several local companies but was disappointed with the response. No one could pin point where problem was resulting in them wanting to break up one part of basement and if that didnt work then they would break up other part. Some i never got estimates from. Charlie came out same day found the problem. Him and his crew were out within a week. They moved what needed to be moved, contained the dust, mopped up when done and put everything back. Charlie was very patient with me and all.my questions. Even spoke to me after hours and on Sunday since I cant make calls from work. He helped walk me through insurance nightmare as well. He even came out when I noticed water in basement and found it was an extension we had on the down spout. I gave met Paul who will handle putting everything back together. I would defenitly recommend Charlie.

Called Lakeview Mechanical when temperatures were below zero for the water heater and furnace at our church, they were out within two hours. Dave repaired the water heater promptly and Bob came out the next day to fix the furnace. Both men were very courteous and professional, even putting booties over their shoes so as not to track in salt and snow. I had earlier called a different company and while they came out they said they needed a different wrench and left to get it and didnt come back for two days, that is when I called Lakeview. I would hire them again for any heating and cooling problem.

After basements in Grosse Pointe flooded, my neighbors were surprised how quickly I had a new hot water tank. “I called Lakeview,” I told them, and Mason was at my house later that day. The rain revealed that I needed to solve a problem with my storm drain. Charlie diagnosed the issue, and Mason returned to perform the excavation. It was a dirty job, but they worked very hard to ensure the repair was done correctly. I’ve owned this house for 35 years, and I have learned to call Lakeview first.

This outfit came highly recommended. We live in Grosse Pointe Woods and we wanted to convert a breezeway into a heated space and we needed new duct work! Lakeview to the rescue. 1st they sent out a yeoman named Kevin who had the job designed and planned before it started then they sent an Ace by the name of Chris. The owner is a Veteran of the United States Armed Services named Ed. All in all the job was priced right and more over, the quality was of such high magnitude it honestly raised the value of our home by $20,000.00+ for about a grand in green backs!
