    We had some water coming into our main panel after a heavy storm. We also knew that the way the electric was ran originally was not safe as it was tucked behind the eaves of our roof. Called Jim and he was able to come out the next day to give me a quote and made sure it was safe to leave the power on at the house even with a very busy schedule. His crew showed up a week later and completed the job in a very timely and professional manner. From speaking to Jim and his crew, as well as the quality of work I can tell there is a real passion and knowledge for what they do. That being said I will always recommend Ginter electric to anyone I know that needs some work done. Thanks again!

    With all of the high winds we have had a tree branch was laying on the power line coming into our home, causing our lights to flicker. Ohio Edison came and removed the branch, checked the wires coming into our house and found a lot of moisture and corroded ground wires inside of our exterior meter socket and box.I called Jim on the same Thursday afternoon, he returned my call within an hour and was at our house the same evening and gave us an estimate to replace the electrical service panel and exterior meter socket box and wiring leading to it. We also asked for a socket to hook up the generator we had just bought too.Jim emailed the quote the same evening when he returned home. We decided to have him do the work on Friday or Saturday and Jim had his crew here Monday morning as promised at the time promised! The electricians were professional, friendly and did a nice job. Quality work! We won’t need to worry about the worn out wiring coming into our home again!Regardless of the other reviews we saw here we decided to form our own opinion of Gintners and are glad we did. We didn’t have other estimates done so I can’t vouch personally for the pricing, I have a friend that was recently quoted for having their electrical panel replaced and compared to her quote ours was more reasonable.We will call Jim if we have any other electrical work that needs done and will recommend him to others, good people, great experience here!

    Once again Gintner electric has provided me with excellent work and awesome customer service. In the past they have upgraded my homes electrical box, installed a 220 line and fixed some plugs for us. This year a new 110 line for a pool was installed. We encountered a small hurtle with finding someone to dig for us on short notice but Mr. Gintner kept in good contact with me through the whole process to ease my worries!     Needed an electrical panel and some wiring repairs on a home that one of my investors purchased.     Jim went above and beyond what was expected. He went personally to see the property to assess needed repairs and gave us an excellent quote for his work. He worked around vacation schedule of the renters and provided wonderful service once they returned back home. The cost never exceeded his quote and he even suggested adding 2 more lights that we did not request. Responsible, reliable and honest are words that describe Jim Ginter. Very knowledgeable and thorough. I would recommend his company to anyone who needs electrical work in the Warren-Youngstown area.

    Excellent service and response time! I contacted Gintner Electric for an estimate to replace my Electrical panel, which was needed as a result of a home inspection. Jim Gintner, came to my home the next day and I had an estimate that evening. Three days later, his team came out and finished the required work on the inside and out, that same day! They did an excellent job and were very neat!I will be recommending Gintner Electric to all of my family and friends for any electrical work they may need done.

    I have used Gintner electrical multiple times. Once, when I was selling a house to get it up to code and now installing a new upgraded breaker box and installing electrical outlets and lighting to my new shed.     Ginter Electrical Services, LTD  was recommended to me for correcting some wiring which a different company had done,  which was found to be done incorrectly during a home inspection. Jim Gintner  Electrical Services were easy to schedule, and quick to offer a time to perform the needed work. I am very pleased with the professional work which is also a comfort, knowing the wiring is now done correctly.  They also had even patched the drywall for me after they cut through it to correctly get the wiring to the panel.     At 7am on a Sunday morning, we had a partial power outage in the 140 year old home we are buying. We called Gintner Electrical Services & Jim himself came to assess and repair the problem.Our outside service line was fried, as well as the ancient breaker box, that was in meltdown mode. (Literally melting rather than tripping as they should. Extreme fire hazard)Jim & his assistant were extremely courteous & caring! They were prompt, worked quickly to make all the necessary repairs, cleaned up all work debris. Jim took the time to flip each breaker & mark the new panel for us as well!Jim contacted me at 8:30 pm to check and make sure that all was well!Extremely reasonable rates for an Electrician!If you need any Electrical work done, I recommend Gintner 100%!

    I cannot say enough about Gintner Electrical Services!! I needed a hot tub wired and couldnt seem to get anyone there to do it in any kind of timely fashion. I called Gintner and the woman who answered the phone was very nice and told me she would have the electrician call me back. I thought, Yeah, ok! And decided not to hold my breath waiting. Not only did Jim Gintner ACTUALLY call me back within 15 minutes, he ended up coming out to my house that very day and giving me an estimate! A crew showed up the VERY next day-WHEN HE SAID THEY WOULD-and so did the boss, Jim! (I was astonished given the bad experiences I have had with contractors over the years!!) But they worked together like a well-oiled machine and had the job done in no time at all. No problems, no broken appointments, no lies, and no price gouging!!! They are they best! After the job was finished, I chatted with Jim for a bit and can say he is a very sweet, kind, intelligent, wise and insightful man. In the little while we talked, I could see he genuinely cares about PEOPLE, and not just customers. He cares about actual people and humanity itself, and that is certainly very rare!!     Stick with who you know, and these guys make your electical needs right. I had the team out to do a decent sized project, running an entire new box, surge protector, and electrical to many new and existing outlets. They nearly wired the entire house. This was a 100 year old home, so it wasnt an easy task working through plaster and through the tight cramped spaces. They got it done and they made it look great, very clean, very professional.If you know Jim or the guys, make sure you follow the one rule... Stick with who you know.Aside from the good work, they were prompt. Jim was fast about scheduling and they were in and out with no excess time wasted.Thanks again guys.

    We recently purchased a new house and needed to upgrade the electric to bring everything up to codeJim came to the house to give us an estimate for the work. He was very professional and personable, spending time getting to know us and letting us get to know him. The proposal came within a day or two and work commenced only a few days after that. We had a new box installed, a number of outlets installed in the basement and a few outside. Also shop lights installed with 2 switches to cover each half of the basement and GFCI outlets in the kitchen and bathrooms.The crew was professional and their work was neat and precise. I mentioned to one of the guys how neat and exact they were, and he told me that Jim instructed them to do the work as if they were working in his house. If it wasnt up to that standard, he would make them re-do the work. The price was very reasonable.We will definitely use them again in the future, and would recommend them to anyone in need of electrical work.

    They were quick to schedule and address my issue. Work was professional, by the book, and GREAT. They came to address an outlet in my kitchen. In the process of fixing that, they were able to address my kitchen sink light and even fixed up the switches so that they all worked appropriately.     Excellent work. Efficient. The work easily passes inspection. Engineers project to suit customer needs. Outstanding customer service.After giving up a job to an insurance contractor, he followed up to see if their work passed inspection. When it did not and we asked him to make it right, he replaced the faulty work and followed up on the inspection of the repair to make sure it was done to meet our time line.I have never had a company more interested in customer satisfaction while maintaining high standards of workmanship. His service is prompt, but I’d be willing to wait in line, if need be, to have his company do the work. I would know that it would be done right.

    Jim installed a new 100 amp meter socket. Called him went there within an hour. They had no electric for a week because the outside socket needed replaced. He installed it got the inspection from city and electric co put new meter on. She is 8 months pregnant and has 5 yrs old. This was an emergency and thanks to Jim he made it happen. I couldnt been more impressed with a co like theirs. I would give them 10 stars if I could. He not only did greatJob but he seemed like he really cared and thats rare these days. The woman who answered my call was kind, courteous and took the time to discuss my issue. She had Mr. Gintner call me to further discuss my problem and he was able to make it to my house within an hour! Mr. Gintner has the kind of personality that just makes you feel like you have known the guy for years! He was kind, conversational and took the time to explain things, but above all he was fair!     Jim Gintner is honest, professional, and extremely responsive! I called him concerning an electrical issue that needed repaired before Ohio Edison would restore electricity to my home. Mr. Gintner responded urgently to the matter, assessed the issue, and gave me a quote. To my own ignorance of what actually needed done, I hired Mr Electric to do the repair work. When the inspection came, the inspector failed the repair done by Mr. Electric and told me they did not fix the issue, but instead tried to cover it up. I then called Mr. Gintner who again responded urgently to my immediate request for service. He not only fixed Mr. Electric’s work, but he also got the inspection done immediately for me in which it passed. He then followed up to make sure I was able to get my electricity fully restored as it was a long process. If you want the job done right the first time... call Gintner Electrical Services!! I will definitely be recommending his services to family and friends!

    Fantastic service.     I’ve had Mr. Gintner and his team handle two different jobs at my home. In both instances the work was done quickly, correctly, and professionally. Dwayne was on site to complete the work each time. He’s a true pro. Great attitude. Communicates clearly what he’s doing and why he’s doing it.     We moved to Warren from out of state. The home we bought is a victorian home built in 1908. The home was in desperate need of updating and general repair. The former owners had electrical wires running from everywhere directly into the electrical panel.     If there were a 10 star option Jim would have earned it ! My lights were flickering off and on. Jim came out and identified it as an Ohio Edison problem on the incoming wiring outside and before my home. I called Edison, they came out and said everything was clear and passed their testing. Jim called a few days later to check on things. HE HIMSELF called Edison and had some one come again ! Yes, was exactly as he said. Edison repaired the problems .     Mr Gintner and his crew are great! We had a pool installed and the company that was supposed to come out and hook up our electric to the pump and heater cancelled at the last minute. I called everywhere trying to get an electrician to give us a quote and do the job before 17,000 gallons of water turned green. Mr Gintner postponed his personal plans and came over that evening to quote us and fit us into his busy schedule two days later, once the needed parts arrived. He assured us he was coming whether rain or shine. He and his crew worked for more than five hours on the job. All the time making sure they didnt track mud into the house and didnt tear up the yard. Mr Gintner even noticed that our dryer had the wrong breaker while he was in the basement and fixed it for us free of charge! I cant say enough nice things about them. Very professional, friendly, and kind. Our pool is up and running on short notice. They gave us great work at a great price, and even better customer service. He is the only electrician we will use from now on.

    This is the second project that I have had Jim Gintner complete. Last year during a window install, the electrical had to be disconnect to the 3-season room and outside shed due to incorrect wiring from a previous owner. I called Jim to come out and access my situation. He deducted that I would need a separate wiring circuit installed for this room and my outdoor shed. My breaker panel was full so a new sub-panel would need installed and wire ran to the location. Jim had a loaded work schedule at the time, but I knew I wanted him to complete the work since I really trusted him from his excellent work that he previously completed for me. I was not in a hurry so I told him to work it into his schedule as time permitted. When his schedule opened up enough, he called to ensure I would be available for the work to be completed. Two of his employees, Kelly and Bill, arrived at our scheduled time. They discussed the work that was to be completed and included me with additional options that could be beneficial for my situation such as wiring routes and outlet placements. Jim stopped by during the install to ensure project was going well. They went above and beyond and even revealed an addition issue with wiring in another outlet that they repaired. They were very courteous, professional and thorough. They cleaned up after the job and reviewed the completed work with me.I am extremely impressed with how Jim conducts his business and will continue to use his services as needed in the future. A++++ company!

His response to my initial inquiry was on the same day I made it, we met the next day and he started work as soon as I was ready to proceed.     I’m a real estate agent and home stager. My client was transferred out of town and had to leave abruptly before her home sold. The home had some electrical issues that needed to be taken care of. My client called another company (Mr. Electric), and they charged her $700 and DID NOT fix the problem at all. My client then called Jim and he came right out to the house, diagnosed the problem and took care of it right away. He went over and beyond what he needed to do.     I have used Gintner a couple times for electrical work on my home. I bought a foreclosure home and it came with a lot of issues. His guys do excellent work and his prices are reasonable. Everything from a new breaker box to my stove outlet, water heater, light switches, outlets and loose hot wires throughout my home.
