    Urso Electric is fantastic. Tom Urso started the business a couple years ago, and has grown it with other trucks, yet is still very hands-on and attentive. His team installed some outdoor wall-hanging lights and repaired two internal ceiling lights today. They were professional, cordial, and efficient. Urso deserves the 5 stars that everyone gives them.

    We have been residents of Vero Beach for nearly two years now and when needed have relied on Urso Electric and Lighting to make changes to our indoor lighting, adding exterior flood lights and most recently providing electrical service for a portable generator. Tom Urso has been very prompt in returning phone calls, meeting with us as scheduled and answering our questions. His crews show up on time, are very polite and considerate, clean up well afterwards and generally very professional and efficient in their work. I have found their billings to be fair and in line with the other electricians in the area. In summary I have no hesitation in recommending Urso Electric and Lighting to my friends and neighbors.

    Urso Electric and Lighting has done the majority of the work at my new home. I have always been very pleased with the quality of workmanship and the professionalism of the employees. The estimates I received were accurate and transparent. Lastly, each time a job was performed on my property, the work area was completely cleaned and swept, then all trash or residue was hauled away when they left at the end of the day. Of the many companies that worked on my house Urso Electric and Lighting is the only contractor that did this. This Company is very impressive and will always get my business for the next job at my home. I would refer them to any one needing top quality electrical work done. Skilled craftsmen are getting rare but can still be found on each appointment at Urso Electric and Lighting.

    Let me tell you Tom is the his crew at Urso Electric are miles ahead on professionalism and installation than others I have used. They installed high grade wires and had to add a 50 amp to switch panel for my newly installed pool heater. Very nice to talk with and job was done quickly and no mess left behind.     We had Riley and Tom out our house fixing our electric problems. They went above and beyond to fix everything and were here for like 4 hours they really care about what they do and make sure it is correct!!! They are so professional, hardworking, knowledgeable, and made sure our kitty didnt get outside.     Tom, the owner, and his associate Jack did an outstanding job replacing a 35-year-old panel. Tom is a great communicator and always very prompt in telling you what is happening. The electrical inspector was here for about 10 minutes, which tells me that Urso Electric did a great job. I highly recommend Urso Electric.

    We had an issue with our GFI outlets in the garage. Urso Electric was recommended by a friend. My husband called this morning and they were able to send an electrician out to us.     I highly recommend Urso Electric. I spoke to Tom on the phone who was able to book me an appointment promptly to have five new smoke alarms installed that had to be hard wired. The electrician, Keith, came and did the work first thing in the morning on our appointment day in a about an hr or less. Keith was very helpful and knowledgeable in explaining and answering all of our questions about the alarms. We were very satisfied with the pricing and the courtesy. Thank you again for your help and professionalism; and will be calling again for any other work that may need to be done.

    We had several old outdoor lights to replace and 2 old patio fans to replace as well. Tom came out to look at what we were hoping to do and explained the process and what to expect. He was able to accommodate our time frame and have Omar install 8 lights and 2 fans. Like Tom, Omar was punctual, friendly, professional, and completed the job in a timely manner.     Florida has great weather but contractors in our area..Vero Beach...seldom do what they say they will do; seldom show up on time; and sometimes have inadequate knowledge and/or bad attitudes. Tom Urso, Keith and the rest of the team at Urso Ellectric and Lighting are the happy exception. Professional; on time, on budget; and always looking for the RIGHT...vs. the EASY...way to solve problems. These guys even drive clean, fully equipped new trucks and always respond on the same day. Real Pros in an area with too many marginally competent electricians, plumbers and building contractors simply lining their pockets at the expense of seasonal homeowners.

Omar did a wonderful job at our house installing bathroom light fixtures and running an outside line for our water feature on the patio.     Tom Urso and his employees have done high quality work every time I’ve called them. My most recent experience was when I purchased some Wi-Fi wall switches to make my home more of a “smart” home. I talked to Tom about them, and said that he didn’t like using them as they are unreliable, but that they would do the work if I really wanted them to. I had already purchased them so we moved forward.Tom’s employee Jackson came out and installed the switches as I requested, but asked to see the schematics that came with them. After he reviewed them and I programmed the Wi-Fi so that they worked, he left for another job. All good. An hour later, one of the lights came on by itself and wouldn’t turn off, manually or by Wi-Fi. I called them back and Jackson came back first thing the next morning. He troubleshot the system and found that the schematics were wrong and required an included adapter that they said were not. He repaired the issue, I reprogrammed the Wi-Fi and no more problems.Even though they had to come back and repair a problem that wasn’t their fault, they didn’t upcharge me for another visit. Their quality work and great customer service is why I’ll always call them first if I have any electrical issues in the future.As for the Wi-Fi lights, they work great now until you lose power. Then you have to reprogram them each time. I should have listened to Tom in the first place…

    I recently purchased a home that the previous owner had done some of his own handyman electrical work which was very shoddy . My spouse and I reach out to a few companies and decide to go with Urso and I cant say enough great thing about Tom and his company! everything from being on time and professional to the honesty and pride he takes in his work is absolutely outstanding. If you are looking for an honest electrician look no further. We had Outlets that werent working, light fixtures that needed replaced as well as some new Outlets put in the garage. Tom got it all done in a timely manner. He did such great work that our neighbor across the street had him do some work at his house as well.

    Tom is experienced and knowledgeable. Hes punctual and extremely good at communicating appointments, arrival times etc. (How rare is that these days?)     The electricians did a great job. They showed up on time, were efficient and cleaned up after themselves. Best of all he gave us an option to have an outside flood light with a remote switch for tuning it on or off. We have already recommended them to family and will use them again when needed.

He put in new outlets around the house that were very much needed, and helped us rewire our hardwired water pump..something we didnt think was going to be possible, but Tom came through and made it happen!     I found Tom Urso through a fakebook post of someone else looking for an electrician. Urso electric was mentioned multiples times. So I goggled them saw the 5 stars called and left a message Tom got back to me the next day, came by looked at what we wanted done - 2 bath fans replaced,4 exterior light, pool light looked at and repaired, exterior GFI plugs all replaced, garage light repaired, 2 flood lights. Tom and Jackson are professional and I can see why Urso has 5 Stars! We will use Urso again!

    Tom was recommended by a friend. We were adding a pool heater and needed a new power connection installed. He answered his phone (!) and gave us an appointment the next day. He texted that he was on his way and arrived on schedule. We were starting from “ stupid” as this is our first pool so he patiently explained what we needed and how he would provide our needs. He gave us an estimate right then and a tentative date in about 2 weeks. We confirmed the date once he obtained the needed materials.He sent his right hand guy Keith to do the install, such a great guy. Keith was polite , clean, neat in appearance and work, communicative and efficient. Tom stopped by to insure that all was well and it sure was. Our install was done on time, at the quoted price and more neatly than we expected. These days it difficult to find trades people who respond , return calls and then perform as promised. Urso Electric did all that and more. Their card is on my bulletin board to call if we ever have an electrical issue in the future. Give them a chance, you will be glad you did.

    I dont usually write google reviews but this guy deserves it. I ran into an issue installing a bathroom fan and needed a professional. Tom Urso came out within a couple of days and not only finished the installation, he found and fixed an issue with the switch that powers it. This may not seem like too big of a deal, but living in Florida, Ive experienced some of the most undependable contractors from every trade, and Im sure you have as well. Tom showed up EXACTLY when he said he would, was in and out quickly, and was personable while doing it. Add that to a reasonable price and Im having him back to do all the other electrical work I need done. He will now be my go-to. Use him - you wont be disappointed.

    Moved into a bit of a project home on the water which had some wonky electrical stuff done which my inspector said needed to be addressed. I sent copies of the inspection report to several electricians asking for a general quote on the high end so I could have an idea of what to expect. No one would do so and I did not know what to expect. Urso was the only company that came back with a price and explained what went into it. They sent Keith over this am and he traced wires, relabeled my electrical box, ran conduit, installed outdoor sockets in the walls and soffit and capped off, removed wires to no where. Very thorough, very polite and quality craftmanship. Will use them again in future projects as the rehab/upgrade process goes on. I highly recommend them them to anyone needing extensive work done in their home.
