Everyone has been professional, friendly & above-board. Weve had them install both a new mini-split & new furnace & their work has been excellent.     From the call for emergency service through the completed install the next day, everyone was top notch. Professional, courteous, friendly and compassionate. 17 yr old furnace repair was going to take half of what a new high efficiency unit would be to install. But we were in no way pressured to buy new and were given three exceptionally reasonable offers for replacement. Thanks to Jason, Mike, TJ and Kyle. They made all happen seemlessly. We definitely made a great choice choosing Choice Comfort Services.

    This company is amazing! They went above and beyond to help us get our furnace installed during the busy holiday season (Thanksgiving-New Year’s) and were kind and professional the entire time. They showed up when they said they would and quickly installed the piping for our natural gas furnace, which was converted from electric. Centerpoint Energy caused a delay in the gas line connection (which pushed out the connection for a couple days), but when we finally convinced them to send out a technician on emergency service call on New Years Eve to connect our service, Mike, the sales manager from Comfort Choice showed up to ensure our system was functional before the cold weather came! Tommy came on the morning of January 2nd and finished the final steps to ensure our thermostat and lines were functioning properly and answering any remaining questions that we had. I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about this company and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC or plumbing work!

    Josh did a great job! Arrived on time with short notice, diagnosed my failed Thermostat, installed the new one, checked out the system, educated me on the repair process, and made sure I was familiar with the new unit.     2024: Update. The Choice Comfort team follow up to inspect my system which was installed last year. The process was quick and easy. I was also impressed they sent one of the same techs that did the installation. Its nice to keep employees like that and have someone who has familiarity with your house and system.2023:The whole process from Estimate to Installation was great on the purchase of a new AC & Heat Pump. The sales process was painless and they listened to what I wanted without playing games or offering products I didnt need. While waiting for unit to arrive and be installed there was a fulfillment snafu which they made right without a lot of pushing from my end. The installation also went great as both installers were friendly, professional, and did great work providing a tidy install. I feel as good as one could feel after needing such a pricey upgrade performed and have no doubt that if a problem arises the folks at Choice Comfort will take care of it.

    Perfect service call. Called in advance of arriving. Arrived exactly when promised . Found small issue on outside unit. Advised on cost of replacement part. Chose to have part replaced.     AC went out 3 days before our new restaurant opened. We were tight on cash since we were just opening and choice Comfort offered us a financing option which was perfect, the techs were super friendly, efficient and their work was very clean.     We’ve counted on Choice Comfort for years since they installed our AC/furnace. They’re always available when you need them, they’re reliable and efficient, and just about everyone you talk to there is super friendly. I’d highly recommend them for any of your HVAC needs. This specific instance, Shaun was the tech who came out. We were one of “those people” who needed their unit serviced during a heatwave. He was super friendly and professional, quickly diagnosed our issue, and has fixed in a blink of an eye. We can rest easy now we have cool air flowing through our home again.

    Cody was thorough and cleaned up our furnace to look like new. Replaced a couple parts, the filter and then cycled everything to ensure the furnace was responding properly.

    We contacted them on an emergency basis to replace our water heater which was leaking carbon monoxide and natural gas. They gave us a window in the afternoon to come look at it but called again with an earlier opening which was much appreciated. Jimmy came and gave us a competitive quote and advised he could do the installation same day. He completed the job quickly and was very professional. We would recommend them to anyone.

    Very impressed with this company. Highly recommended by a friend and now I see why. Had furnace issues in October. They replaced the ignitor/sensor and it continued to run for a bit. Now in January it stopped working again. They came back assessed the situation, determined the control bard wasnt putting out the required voltage. They actually took off the cost of what I had already paid in October. Both Jason and Josh were excellent techs. Very personable, polite, clean and willing to answer any questions. Office staff are great too.

    Lady I spoke with on the phone was courteous and understanding about my furnace not working when it was 7* out. Repairman (Paul) was supposed to arrive between 12 - 2pm. He arrived at 12:15 and immediately got to work and was able to fix the problem quickly. Very satisfied.

    Service was great, technician to the house was great (friendly, informative, careful, and did a great job), and everything is working fine so far, so I have no qualms with the service. My only sticking point is billing and the receipt. I received a receipt for payment but not a detailed billing of what I paid for equipment, supplies, labor, etc. I want to know these details because I want to know what I was charged for equipment vs. what I may have been able to purchase it for via another outlet like, Amazon, Walmart, etc. (obviously for smaller things like faucets and disposals, not big-ticket items). I also want to know if I could have been surcharged for having provided my own supplies, etc. I feel these details are important to both a business and an individual customer, or at least should be to the cost conscience customer.

    To Whom it May Concern,We recently moved into a new home in Troy. When the weather started getting cooler we called Choice Comfort to have them show us how to use the boiler system. We were delighted that they were able to schedule us in a timely fashion. Jason arrived on Monday and set to work immediately only to discover that we had a leak in the boiler system. He decided to call upon his boss who was more familiar with this type of system. “The bearded wonder” or Shaun as he is otherwise known, helped to diagnose the problem. They put us back on the books and scheduled us for the next available morning which was Wednesday.I received a courtesy call from Jason first thing on Wednesday to let me know that they were on the way. I was so grateful that we would soon have heat for the winter ahead. I was greeted by Jason and Findley who were able to replace a pressure valve and get the system to build up pressure, thus allowing the heat to move throughout the house. Jason checked to make sure that each of the thermostats were all working and registering the correct heat. Both Jason and Findley were friendly, professional, and answered all of my questions while explaining how to use the boiler system in the future. I feel like I understand how to use the system moving forward. Jason offered to come back if the need ever arises.I am thankful for the quick remedy to our dilemma, and the helpful expertise of the men from Choice Comfort. I would recommend their services in the future.

    I had to schedule a service call because we had a sewage smell in our dining room and Jimmy and Will quickly diagnosed that the cast iron pipe under our kitchen floor had rusted out. Over multiple days, they removed our sink, cabinet and flooring to find the rusted pipe and replace it with a PVC pipe. They kept me informed the entire time and answered all my questions and left me with the confidence that fixing my plumbing issue was their top priority.

Paul showed up on time, was professional, and spent more than an hour performing the biannual check of our HVAC.Every six months we’ve had the same excellent experience and can’t see any reason to discontinue using Choice Comfort.

    Our old oil furnace was serviced by them to get us through the winter. (Bob does excellent work!) At which time I decided in the spring it would be a good time to retire it.Mike stopped by later that week and gave us several options for a new furnace. They installed a new high efficiency carrier furnace and completed the job in one day. The price was reasonable.Finley and Barry covered the pathway through the house and did an awesome job installing, cleaning up and explaining how the new thermostat works. They also cleaned up the ac coil above the new furnace going above and beyond what I expected. They always call about thirty minutes before arriving for an appointment. I highly recommend Choice Comfort Services and will call them when its time to replace the ac system.

    Able to get appointment quickly. Arrived exactly on time and fixed the problem. Explained everything. The guy was very personable. The only downside was that it was extremely expensive. Everything had a charge driveway fee, diagnostics fee parts fee that was undoubtedly well marked up but at least the service was quick, and it got taken care of.

    My husband and I bought our house this summer and what would you know our AC and Furnace crapped out a week after we moved in.Recently we decided to get it fixed. I was initially impressed with Mike the sales rep that came by to do the initial assessment and how through the 3 day installation he checked in on the crews progress.My installation was a pretty tricky one the old unit was in the crawlspace with an access that would have made getting a new system in and the old one out basically impossible without cutting a hole into our foundation.TJ and Travis were my technicians and they were able to navigate the tricky installation by putting my new unit in a closet and running the new ducting in with the existing duct work. They also repaired broken ducting in my crawlspace then took a few extra minutes to teach me how my new thermostat worked. It was great how they were okay with taking a minute to answer questions and explain how my new system works in a way that I could understand. 10/10 experience.

    I had three local HVAC companies bid a system replacement for heating and AC (no new ductwork). Comfort was competitive with a quote for a mid-range high efficiency system. They were on time for the install, did the job exactly as bid, and answered all my questions. Install took a day and a half, but they had my AC back up and running by the end of the first day, so I was only down a few hours (in August - I presume the furnace gets priority in the winter).Ive only had the new system for less than a day, so I cant review it, but I am very happy with how the install went.

    I had to have someone come out to our home to check our air conditioner on a Sunday. I can’t recall ever having to do this in 36 years of being a homeowner. I felt so bad. Paul was wonderful. He had just done our yearly service on the unit last month and said everything was still fine. There were some glitches in the thermostat, but his initial thought was that our daughter kept taking the thermostat off its programming cycle while we were out of town and it wasn’t catching up. He took it off programming and set it for her. He told me he wanted to try this first instead of us having to purchase an expensive thermostat if we didn’t need one. I appreciated his honesty. We’ve had Choice Comfort out for plumbing issues as well. Everyone has been professional and personable. Highly recommend this company.

    I Had a great experience last year with the service man Pat. My furnace was running for a little while an then shutting off. I had called two companies.The 1st service man wanted $550 for a control board and the 2nd service man wanted $850 for a gas valve. They spent about 10 minutes each checking the furnace and I didnt trust either one of them. So I called a third company Cool Solutions and they sent out Pat. He spent over an hour checking out the furnace and found the problem. It just needed cleaning and that fixed the problem. Theres 3 things I look for. 1) someone I can trust. 2) someone who is knowledgeable. And 3) cost. Pat is someone I can trust and is very knowledgeable. The costs are about the same but I saved money with Pat because of his knowledge and truthfulness.I highly recommend Cool Solutions.

    I work at Grace Crossing Church and we called Choice Comfort Service due to a cracked water pipe in our irrigation system. Rachel was very friendly and told me she would send someone out. Jimmy arrived within an hour and accessed our situation. He was very knowledgable and professional. He was able to give us a few good tips to help us get through til warmer weather to replace pipe.     I’m very mechanical so paying someone to work or preventative maintenance my furnace is uncomfortable but I decided to try CC. Mike was the Technition. He was on time and very professional. He explained everything he was doing and took the time to show me parts he removed and cleaned before reinstalling. Showed me multimeter readings and explained what the acceptable variances. I would highly recommend CC and their service team!!

    I had my 4th service visit today from them and it was excellent. I signed up for a 2 year service plan in 2015 and I am very happy with it and the quality of care I received from the associates. Since that 2 year service plan expired today I signed up for another 2 year service plan. The associate was friendly, on time,knowledgeable and caring.     Barry with Choice Comfort did an amazing job today taking the extra time to really pinpoint the issue in our A/C unit based on just an odd sound we were hearing.     Tommy did an amazing job. Very courteous, walked me through the installation. He had on a mask and gloves to protect us during the installation. On the 2nd day we had heavy rain and winds. Tommy pulled out a large beach umbrella and both he and Anthony finished the installation to make sure our AC unit was up and running. This was far above and beyond.I design HVAC systems, I know what is required. Tommy did it perfect.I had 4 other companies quote and Choice Comfort has the best value.Also they take care of all the rebates. I checked, they gave us the full total of the rebates.Great product, Great Service, Great experience.

    After coming home from a 3 day mini-vacation, It was 84 degrees in our house. When we saw that the thermostat was left on, it was apparent that something was wrong. I called Cool Solutions, and less than an hour, I received a call that they could come within an hour or so. Pat Andrews arrived and was very polite, and extremely kind. He clearly explained what happened, and what it would take to get it right. We joined the Comfort Club, because it was such a great value for us. I was more than satisfied with the service provided.     Highly recommend Choice Comfort! They went above and beyond in helping to discover the source of the mysterious wet patch in master closet carpet. (They even carried away the ruined carpet & pad for us.)Truly professional service! They helped me set up my dehumidifier carrying it up from the basement for me.     The tech was early to on-time. He was very knowledgeable of my furnace. He found the problem within a 15 minutes and then explained the issue in way that I could understand. Since I have 30 year old furnace, he had to go out to get the parts to fix it. He was back in shortly (quicker than I expected). Within an hour he had the furnace up and running.
