    John was very helpful and fast. I had a plumbing issue around midnight he came out right away to help the issue. There was a sewer clog and the whole house was backed up he did his job by unclogging it quickly and everything went well. Highly recommend him, very respectful and on time.

    This guy is awesome. Very friendly, came out within about an hour, reasonably priced with no surprise fees after the fact, and the best part is HE CLEARED THE BATHTUB CLOG, which was pretty major since tree roots were growing into our pipes. Would call again for any plumbing issues.

    John at Rooter Shield is fantastic....super responsive, professional and very reasonable prices. I have had my challenges with other plumbers and I now feel as if I found my trusted plumber in John. He helped me two times on a weekend with a pretty urgent hot water heater repair issue and also another time at a different place installing a new water heater. He was communicative, professional, cleaned up the area he worked in leaving it in better shape than when he arrived and was very reasonable on his prices. He does it right the first time and I strongly recommend him to others. Thank you, John!

    Best plumber Ive had! Called him to fix leaky faucet handles in my shower. He walked me through exactly what the problem was, replaced the stems, fixed the issue within an hour, along with replacing a leak-prone water line on the refrigerator while he was here at no additional cost. When I had a clogged garbage disposal a couple weeks later, he came to fix it in about 5 minutes, left me with a tool and instructions on how to handle it next time it happens, and he didnt even charge me for the visit!

    Wow what amazing service by John and this whole company. They came out for a free service inspection and throughly checked and diagnosed the problem.     I hired John/Rooter Shield for a second opinion after the first plumber advised that detecting the leak under my balcony could leave my townhouse looking like Swiss cheese and could costs me thousands and replacing my shut-off valve, which broke when he attempted to shut-off, could costs me hundreds. John evaluated my property step by step just like the first plumber. Only difference is that John immediately suggested doing a leak detection BEFORE punching any holes. John informed me that it was not necessary to replace the entire shut-off pipes as the pipes were in good condition; only the valve needed to be replaced with an upgraded model. The price was reasonable. John educated me on the issue and we scheduled the leak detection right away. John was professional, punctual and transparent. He doesn’t gauge you with pricing and really gets β€œcustomer service”. I will hire him again and again. In one word, excellence!
