    My AC handler in the attic was not sounding right so I called Ray and Sons to get someone out to look at it. Nice young man named Tyler was sent out. I told him how it was sounding and he told me what he thought it was. Of course it wasnt doing it when he came but he checked out everything in the attic and outside and made sure everything was OK. Needless to say my unit in the attic is not easy to get to. I will request for Tyler to do my cleanings and services.

    Ray and Son are the best. I had a new Carrier unit installed 22 months ago and first of all the best decision I made. Last night around 8:20 the house was getting kinda warm and when I checked the thermostat the temp was up to 76 and it was set for 73. Needless to say the unit was not running. I called the after hour number at 8:30 and gave my information and was told the technician was on another call but would call me. You figure Saturday night probably wont see him tillsometime Sunday. That was not the case, service tech Jason not only called me but was knocking on my front door at 9:25. He checked the thermostat and saw the code was for a blower motor issue. I thought it would be a hot few days to get one but he was able to get the computer reset and by 9:50 the ac was on. He said you have my number call me if any other issues over the weekend but all has been good. Thank you Jason and Ray and Son for such great service

    My technician was Francisco Pastor He was very professional and on task. He came in, identified the problem ( a freon Leak). He explained the options and what all needed to be checked before repairing. He had to schedule the repair for another day but came back as scheduled and got it resolved as quickly as he could. Great experience and would definitely use them again. Very honest about everything that was done.

    We just purchased our first home and have had one thing after another mess up. Today, the ac went out. My husband made a call to Ray & Son, and they were out in no time.     I was pleased with Ray & Sons ability to provide same day service during a busy winter cold weather event here in Georgia. Francisco Pastor was my servicing technician. Once Francisco arrived, he had my system running again within 30 minutes. Turned out my HVAC units condensation line was clogged requiring it to be blow out to clear the obstruction. After the line was cleared, the thermostat sensor was reset and power was restored to the control panel. Francisco was professional and knowledgeable in conducting the repair. He provided a list of helpful preventive maintenance requirements and explained some of the key features of my system while advocating for the use of service contracts to prevent future maintenance issues. Francisco also went the extra mile to reinstall the original thermostat control panel, which I was prepared to do myself. Although I found the service to be thorough and professional, it was also expensive. My final bill came to $264 for this service which I found to be high for the services rendered. I recommend this company for their service and professionalism but if you are on a budget, shop around for additional quotes first.

    You are the best. The whole process was easy. Brett gave me options with no pressure selling and a week later to the day our new unit was installed. Brett even sent a tech out to top off the freon in our old system so we could be cool until our install. Zach and Pat did our install and were actually early and very professional.     Francisco called me about 10 minutes after I spoke with Greg at the answering center. He was at my doorstep 15 minutes later. He was incredibly professional and very thorough in explaining the problem and solution. Francisco offered a maintenance program as well that will give me two services a year and no after hours fees for in between calls! Love this company- 10/10 recommend! Ask for Francisco, he’s solid!

He also informed us that the furnace is an older unit and could need replaced at any time.     Called to have AC serviced and they were there within days. Needed repair that was done on spot. Called them 2 weeks later to address a plumbing issue found during a home inspection.     Unfortunately, when I came home from Wild Adventures Saturday night we had no a/c. I called at 9:30pm and received a call back within 5 minutes from the technician Francisco. He was very knowledgeable and told me exactly what he thought the problem was. When he arrived he was correct and fixed the problem quicklky. He checked my system over and let me know that I had another part outside that had been messed up by the lawn service and fixed it while he was there.I really appreciated the honesty.     They sent out a technician first thing in the morning when my AC had a component explode in the middle of the night. Unlike the last company that tried to get money for nothing from me, these guys pulled open all the subsystems of my unit and gave me honest, accurate information about what was wrong, and what parts were crucial to being replaced, all for less than their predecessor. The only reason they dont get a 5/5 is that they wont deal with home warranty companies.

    I have only used Ray & Son since I moved back to GA. The team they have has always been very helpful and ready to get the job done. As long as I live here I will only let them service or repair my AC/ Heating unit. They actually go above and beyond to help service their clients. Before we got our heat pump they actually built a bracket to hold the out take fan on our old unit to keep it running, because the brackets were no longer available for that old model AC unit, now that is really helping your clients.

    Another, well known, local business came to my house to fix my AC. First day the repairman replaced a capacitor; next day I realized we had the same problem. They came back out and replaced a motor; 3 hrs later, still had the same problem, after $500. Called them again and they said they wouldnt charge a diagnostic fee to come back out, but would for parts; told them Ill go elsewhere. Called Ray and Son and the repairman knew what he was doing; replaced a relay and my AC works great and at a fraction of what I paid the other company for accomplishing nothing.     Ray and Son installed a new Carrier heat pump/AC unit August 2016. In September 2017, both the thermostat and reversing valve died. While the parts were still under warranty, labor was not (it expired on Sept 1, ~ 2 weeks before the AC died). Ray and Son however, fixed the unit and did not charge for labor (estimated at $500). I appreciate this because a >$5000 unit should not have parts failing a year after purchase, which has me a bit concerned about the quality of Carrier units, however, I dont have the same concerns about the quality of service from Ray and Son. They did right with respect to customer service and fixing the problem, which I appreciate and commend!

    Great experience all the way around. I highly recommend them.We just bought an old home as is....we were told the HVAC did not work and our inspector confirmed it.We reached out to Ray&Son to do an independent check.The scheduling rep, Lisa was very helpful during our 3 calls. The service rep, Hiram, was outstanding! He came out to do a basic service on the HVAC unit. He discovered the heater/thermostat was improperly wired. He took the time to discover the real problem, rewire it, disconnect and clean out the combustion fan....and it fired up!!! I spent a few hundred dollars vs several thousand for a new unit.I am following up with this great company to do the complete duct cleaning in 2 weeks and then some A/C work a little later. I already called one of the senior managers, Mike, to express my thanks for Hirams professional and honest work. Way to go team. v/r Will

    Called at 8 am because our ac had stopped working the night before. They came around 11 that day. The pan our ac is on was cracked and was leaking water. Francisco got us up and running so my kids wouldn’t have to sit in a hot house without air. He then rearranged his schedule so he could be back the next morning to replace the pan so we wouldn’t have to worry about it leaking or the ac stopping over the weekend.     We have been using this company since 2018 when we were at a rental property and our A/C broke in the middle of summer. Our landlord didnt care about our safety but cared more about his pocketbook which we discovered when the repairman put the landlord on speaker as he was telling him that the entire system needed to be replaced. After we bought our own home in the local area, we have only used Ray & Sons. Our first technician told us about the membership club they have that saves money and has a lot of perks. Well worth that! Especially when our shut off valve broke and flooded our hall. They came out and fixed it right away! No problems since. Now when it is time to schedule maintenance they get us taken care of and even recommend local businesses that repair other items they notice such as water damage to the exterior of our house. So far we have had Jason, Clay, and Francisco. All three were honest, professional, and great people. Highly recommend and we will not be using anyone else for our A/C or heating needs.
