I discovered this Amazing Company, while searching, and doing my do diligence, for a new hvac system, for my home. After having a couple of companies come out, and high pressure sales me. From the moment, i spoke with the business office, i was impressed, and felt comfortable here. There was no pressure, just accommodation, and the desire to earn my business. I said I was not available until 7pm. No problem, I will have Jason..the owner contact you then. Not a sales person, the Owner!. I was asked if i wanted a phone call, or to meet in person. I opted for the call. Jason called, explained in detail, and easy to understand his equipment, warranties, rebates, and tax advantages. An all electric system, which will lower my PG&E bill each month as well, as leave a lesser footprint in the environment. I did my further due diligence, and the very next day, Jason came out, inspected my house, which at that time, discovered my water heater was leaking, so I added that, and retained Cozy Home Services. Unfortunately, they were swamped with installations, so I had to wait. He assured me it was a 1 day installation! I could not imagine how. When they arrived, they were early, very professional, all of the men were uniformed, in several company trucks. They were very courteous, very respectful of my property, and answered any questions I posed. These professionals went about their work, with precision movements! “Rolex” has nothing on them! I now understood, how they could install everything in 1 day! All of the equipment was installed in 1 day! Jose was the Site Manager, Dan was a Master Plumber, from the plumbing department, Steven and Roland assisted Jose, Justin and Gustovavo, were supporting technicians to the team. James (Jimmy) was from warehouse support, to ensure everything they required to do the job was on sight, and of course Jason, arrived to ensure i was comfortable with the process. When the job was completed, the system was thoroughly checked, explained to me, I would be remise not to include the Amazing Office staff, and their Accounts Receivable Department. Ms. Carla, Ms. Jaime, and Ms. Gloria, who manages the Office Operations.When the team left my home, the only “footprint” they were there, was my new system, water heater, and my complete satisfaction! Im 75yrs. young, and have not experienced this type of Customer Service in years! Please don’t take my word for it…call and you also, will have an Amazing experience!

This was an easy pleasant experience to get a complete HVAC system. Jason Grant was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was very communicative about each step of the process. He was very timely in response to questions we had during the whole process. The work was done professionally with very little disruption to our lives during the installation. Jose and his team arrived with serious energy to complete the work at our house. Ours was a complete HVAC replacement, tankless water heater cleaning, and a water purifier install. Throughout their long day, Jose and his team showed great skill including specific knowledge of the installed equipment, on the job metal fabrication, a desire to ensure we understood how components worked, and consistently respectful treatment of my family and my home. While there were a few stress points during the installation process, the overall experience was smooth and professional.Quote ProcessCozy Home was recommended to me by Mitsubishi as a Diamond Certified installer, and they truly lived up to the title. Out of all the contractors I received quotes from, Jason (the owner) stood out as the most knowledgeable and responsive. He addressed my questions and concerns thoroughly, and there was absolutely no pressure to move forward. The quote process was straightforward and stress-free.InstallationScheduling the installation for my Mitsubishi system was quick and easy, thanks to Gloria, who ensured everything was set up smoothly.The installation itself went well. The team, led by Jose and James, was professional and considerate. They walked me through the installation plan and collaborated with me to find the best solutions for my space. I appreciated how careful they were with my newly remodeled floors and walls, covering them to prevent damage.Stress PointsWhile the overall process was smooth, there were a few surprises and challenges:1. Installation Location Changes:On installation day, the team needed to adjust the planned location of the system due to space limitations. This required us to quickly peel off wallpaper, prime, and paint the new area overnight. While the team communicated the need for changes, it was still a stressful, last-minute task for us.2. Speedy Channel Adjustments:Initially, the plan was to use a small interior speedy channel, but more was required than expected due to the layout changes. Unfortunately, the extra speedy channel, especially in our small bedroom, is more visible than we would have liked. The exposed elbow is an eyesore, but we felt we had no choice but to proceed.3. Final Day Rushed Completion:The crew seemed rushed on the last day of the installation. They packed up quickly, leaving some trash behind, a door uninstalled, and accidentally taking my ladder. The final walkthrough felt hurried, and while I signed off and made the final payment, I wish there had been more attention to detail during the wrap-up.4. Minor Damage:There was some damage to our floors, drywall, and a few indoor and outdoor mini-split units (e.g., scratches and paint chips). Cozy Home resolved the issue with the floor damage, but I will need to patch and repaint the walls myself. Although minor, I wish these issues hadn’t occurred in the first place.Post-Install ServiceShortly after the installation, I encountered two issues:• A disconnect box stopped working.• Coolant leaked from one half of the system.Gloria quickly scheduled service calls, and both issues were resolved within a week after each issue was discovered.Final Thoughts:Despite a few hiccups, I’d still recommend Cozy Home for their expertise, professionalism, and responsiveness. While there’s room for improvement in attention to detail, they delivered a high-quality product and addressed post-installation issues promptly.

Chris came out for my winter system checkup. He was on time, pleasant, and very professional. He checked the systems very thoroughly. He noticed I have a tankless water heater and recommended that I have it flushed once or twice a year. This led to a conversation about water conditioning which I have thru a monthly service with another company. Chris explained to me how installing a Halo system would enhance my whole house experience and save money in the long run. I’d heard about them before and was now in a position to buy. Im happy to say the new system should be installed next week.

UPDATED REVIEW!!!! After getting a couple of quotes, I went with Cozy to replace my HVC system (on the roof). The entire team was awesome!!! The installers (Jose, James, Justin and Aaron) were all very respectful and polite. They left NO evidence of them even being in my house, except for the new thermostat! LOL The unit has worked perfectly and just in time for high temps! Gloria is the office is amazingly patient and kind as well. Chris has a great group of employees!!! I will be going back to this company for other jobs once I get this unit paid off :)Chris was great! Explained everything, answered all my questions! Very thorough and helpful!

From the beginning of the quote process to the install, Cozy and staff were great. The quote for the heat pump unit was straight forward and did not change as promised by Jason, owner. In scheduling the install, the office staff was friendly and a showed a high level of professionalism.The best part was how the three installers interacted with each other always saying please and thank you and it showed that they wanted to do the job well. A follow up visit was required and they remained professional and even funny while servicing our heat pump.I would not have a problem recommending Cozy to install and/or service someones HVAC..

We had another company out and they said we needed 4k in parts to be replaced on a 2 year old system. We thought that seemed wrong and Danni was quick to figure out the $300 issue! The names werent provided. The crew work long and hard. Im sure the were here much longer they had planned. No complaints, just excellent workmanship.The only things, and we talked about them briefly were visual design perspectives. From a contractors perspective every thing was laid out fine. I admit I anal anal on how the visual perspective should be; cables and hoses not seen wher possible; new holes in building should not be seen, rather placed wher existing lines, knobs, standoffs, etc. are. In most cases, not only do things look better but the new work use shorts runs.Dont get me wrong, from a contractor work everything would have been great. From a Design Layout things ended up looking great and probably took less time and materials.The bottom line is the crew was very pleasant to have here, was very qualified, worked well together and did their very best to accommodate!r meGREAT JOB - THANKS!SnM

This our second experience with Cozy Homes. Chris answered our questions and explained what he was doing. He worked very hard in 105° for an hour and a half, found the problem, and we now have a cooler house. It was a bad capacitor. He also serviced our AC and said he would be back in November to service our heater. Our 46 year old son lives with us and has heat related seizures. We asked to be helped as soon as possible with the high temperatures.They were able to help us the day we called. Thank you Chris!

Chris from Cozy Home Services was so very helpful and thoroughly informative about the maintenance of our AC unit. He did an amazing job trouble shooting reasons why our AC wasnt working consistently. It would work, then it would stop at times. Chris was so great at explaining the causes of why the airflow was getting weak and it was an easy fix he took care of. I had to make sure I change the filter every 3 months because our filter overtime ended up with thick dust buildup which affected the airflow and eventually affected the proper functioning of the AC unit. However it also turned out that the unit disconnect box was causing a static-like noise that ended up being very unsafe so he explained that that had to be replaced for added protection. Now everything is running great! Thank you so much Chris for looking out for us and your helpful advice!

Jason arrived early and was scheduled to do a design appointment to replace my aging furnace and AC system(21years old). One of the questions that he asked was if the system was working properly or currently having problems. I explained that the AC system was having a problem which prompted the call. Instead of just saying the system was old and outdated (R22 refrigerant) and quoting for a new system, Jason quickly diagnosed the problem, put in a new part, and had the system up and running in under 30 minutes. He then offered to continue with the quote or to leave it as fixed. Very upstanding and respectable way of doing business. Thank you!

First made contact with Cozy Home as a second opinion on a project that was recommended by another local company. I was put at ease by their professionalism and candor. After that visit helped make my decision not to complete the project that was recommended by the other company, I used them for a hot water pump (electric hot water heater) and hard start kit/surge protector (a/c unit) installs. While the water pump was pricy, they gave me info on federal tax credit and rebate processes. Best part, the hot water pump has dramatically lowered my monthly utility bills. Satisfied customer!

We contracted Cozy Home to install a new HVAC system in our home (electric heat pump + new attic fan + whole house purification), run new ductwork, and worked with their partner (Citadel) to install solar. The entire process was seamless, and the customer service from both Cozy and Citadel was top notch. We met the owner, Jason, at the first walkthrough of our home, and he remained our primary contact throughout the project - rare in my experience! I appreciated that consistency. Cozy Home was also more than patient with us. We signed in early 2023 before NEM 3.0 went live, but due to an extensive home remodel, we werent able to bring them in to install the HVAC and solar until early 2024. Once installed, Jason came out to do a walkthrough of the system with me, and I appreciated the opportunity to better understand our system. He even caught that the HVAC system wasnt working properly and stayed to figure out the problem, sent out a team to fix it, and it was up and running in no time.

We have two air condition units that were not working. Jeff, one of their technicians, came to our home, evaluated the problems and was able to replace parts and a breaker in order to get both air conditioners running perfectly. This is the second time we used Cozy Homes and we we were so please with the professionalism, information and skills of both technicians brought with them. I highly recommend Cozy Home Services! My 40+ yo gas furnace finally died and Jeff Saldivar met with me to review my options. I really appreciated how he was forward-thinking and explained why going with a ductless heat pump system would not only be more efficient and cost effective over time, but also better for the environment. Used Cozy a couple years ago when my heater broke. They came out almost immediately on Christmas Eve and got us back up and running quickly. Didn’t feel cheated or taken advantage of. Actually called the owner, Jason, and thanked him personally. I decided from that point on to call them when there is a problem. This weekend, when the temps started climbing, of course my AC went out. Called them on Saturday and Jeff was at my house on Monday. It was fixed in about an hour and he took the time to explain everything in detail. I decided to upgrade a few parts at his suggestion and did so because I trust them to give it to me straight. I also signed up for a low monthly service fee (I never do this stuff) to start having them come out twice a year to ensure everything is running properly and to hopefully avoid any future major problems or expenses. The air handler (for a ducted system) was noisy from the initial installation. Jeff recognized the fan was making more noise than it should. When he removed the cover he located a piece of tape (likely from packing material) hidden in the fan area. In addition he noted that the filter in the air intake plenum was not necessary. The unit is much quieter. Because the fan is no longer obstructed and the motor does not need to work as hard to pull air.

Just had a new battery storage system installed in my home. Part of the package included Cozy Home Services installing whats called a soft start on my AC compressor. They were able to send someone out the same day they were contacted.During the install, the technician (Jeff) and I talked about my existing system, the fact that it was a bit older (12 years) and that my male dogs had a habit of using the unit for target practice, which was slowly rotting through the outside to the coils. He also pointed out some rusted parts on the inside of the unit.Jeff casually suggested some replacement options, one of which included a dual-fuel heat pump inverter. This would allow me to continue using my existing gas-powered furnace infrastructure in my attic and just replace my outside compressor unit with a new heat pump. I had him send me a quote, which he did that evening.The configuration Jeff showed me was intriguing and was priced at half the cost of swapping out my entire system. The price he quoted me allowed a manufacturers rebate to be combined with a military discount (as Im a vet). I was able to save a considerable amount of money.After researching the unit quoted, I decided to call Jeff back the next day and move forward. This was on a Friday. He had the Cozy crew out on Monday to install! The crew was quick, efficient, and really too their time to ensure all aspects of my system were running perfectly.Im a realtor, so Ill be sure to highly recommend Cozy to all of my customers in the Bay Area needing HVAC work. I’ve had wonderful experiences with this company. Unlike many other HVAC service company, even the owner is involved! When was the last time you dialed a business after hours and the owner answers? Today, one of the technicians, Kolby, repaired an a/c promptly, followed up, and relieved a family of four which included a baby on the hottest day of the season. I have more than four decades of experience in working with HVAC companies, so don’t pass up Cozy Home Services. They are staffed with the very best and knowledgeable technicians and a responsive, warm, cheerful staff 24/7 and on holidays. The icing on the cake is their prices are reasonable. Add to that community service, so when calling them, you’re also helping the youth in our community.

I received excellent service with Cozy Home Services and highly recommended this company. Kolby was my lead contact and prepared the contract and oversaw the installation of my new mini-split heat pump system, which is working well. His manner and attention to detail and customer needs was exceptional and professional and his friendly approach made me very comfortable working with Cozy. Kolby made himself available when l had questions and he went out of his way to help negotiate installation applications with my HOA. The installation crew under the leadership of Aldo and Ernie was equally satisfactory. They were considerate of the surroundings, polite, hardworking and cleaned up at the end of the day. As a result of my satisfaction with the personnel and the company, under the management of Jason, l am now seriously considering using Cozy for solar panels.

Cozy Home Services installed a Mitsubishi mini split unit at our home. The owner came to give us the estimate, which was very competitive, and we had the cost estimate the same day. The crew that came to do the replacement was very professional, courteous and on time.
