Even fixed some flashing that had come lose on our roof while they were up there for free. Going to have them do our back patio next year too.

After researching several options, we knew Steven and Tulsa Renew would be the company to bring back our stone cottage’s charm.We were not disappointed. The professionalism of Steven, Joe and Waylon went above and beyond what we hoped for. They were reliable, thorough and kept the job site clean.     Short answer: We recommend Tulsa Renew without hesitation; you wont be disappointed. We chose them to install James Hardie siding on all dormers and chimney, as well as paint siding, shutters, garage door and trim. We will definitely chose them again to complete the last 2 phases of our project.Our experience: We obtained several quotes from various local siding companies along the way. When we reached out to Steve for a quote, he responded immediately and showed up on time, very professional and trustworthy. He didn’t try to sell his product or service, but rather presented the options and plan in a transparent and honest manner. He left a great first impression. Other siding companies in the area really haven’t learned that the days of sleazy salesmanship are over and the product you deliver can speak for itself if it really is as good as promised. Tulsa Renew is the only company we found who automatically installs James Hardie siding per manufacture specifications. These are the reasons we chose Tulsa Renew.The crew was phenomenal. Excellent communication throughout. The project manager, Joe was onsite each day and sent video updates on progress and expected timeline. These details matter! The carpentry crew: Jairo (Crew Chief), Nahum, and Jose as well as the paint crew: Art, Paco, John, and Jaime were very professional and respectful. Their attention to detail really shows in their work! I even crawled onto our roof to visualize sections that otherwise remain unseen, and found that the quality of their work never wavered even in areas hidden from view. They took the liberty of fixing a hole in our soffit (left by the squirrels) and repairing the architectural detail work that was damaged around it. They also repaired a significant amount of wood deterioration on our shutter before painting it. We never asked them to address these items; we just came home surprised to find that they had fixed them. These are just a couple examples of details and decisions they made along the way demonstrating they went the extra mile to ensure the outcome was exquisite. We are definitely requesting them for Phase II of our siding project.We were initially perplexed by the massive quantity of 5 star reviews this company receives; however we are no longer surprised as the quality is strongly evident in their work and overall customer experience.     My wife and I chose Tulsa Renew to replace our old siding and could not be happier!! We would 110% STRONGLY recommend Tulsa Renew for any of your projects! Steven even installed and stained new cedar beams for the mantle and in the ceiling of th living room! Not only that, but he had his guys install our new exterior lights! All at no additional charge! Steven really makes you feel like youre talking to your best friend. He makes sure he understands what you are wanting and what your end goal is. Even if his company isnt doing ALL the work, he will make sure you are 100% satisfied with his companies work AND will even follow up AFTER the other companies do their work to make sure his work is still up to your expectations. AT NO ADDITIONAL COST! Seriously?!? Tulsa Renew stands strong on the fact they provide superior quality that is second to none and is backed by a 30 year warranty! Tulsa Renew is one of the few James Hardie elite preferred contractors!We had several bids for the work the siding replacement project. Honestly, Tulsa Renew was not the cheapes, but we felt so comfortable with Steven throughout the bid process we just couldnt NOT go with him. Boy are we glad we chose Tulsa Renew!! The price Steven Jones gave us in the beginning is EXACTLY the price we paid in the end. There were no hidden fees or costs!Steven got his crew over ahead of schedule! This is when we met Joe, Stevens right-hand man. Joe was such a pleasure to work with as well! He was sure to keep on top of all the ins and out of the project and sent daily update to us! When I say updates, not just a quick text, but an actual video of what they did, what they found (or didnt find), what they have planned for the next day, etc. Very thorough. I didnt really understand the value of this until now. When you arent able to be there during the work, you dont know what all they did (or didnt) do. What did they find? Did they fix it? Did they cut a corner? We had NO worries with them! For one, they dont cut corners. 110% guarantee that myself! But two, they take pictures of EVERYTHING. They had to replace at least 5 sheets of OSB sheathing due to weather damage (very common in Oklahoma with our weather extremes, especially below windows). Joe detailed everything in the update. Did they charge us more? NOPE! Not a single penny more! Thats something other companies would have charged extra for (it was even written in the other bids paperwork). Our old brick veneer eyebrow over the garage door came crashing down during the project. This was 100% NOT their fault. The mortar was already damaged and cracked long before they came along. It was being held in place by the old siding apparently. But that didnt matter. Tulsa Renew FIXED IT AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!!The quality of the work is second to none! They follow the book to the t! Moisture barriers, flashing, correct clearances, correct fasteners, best caulk, top of the line primer and paints, and on and on. No detail spared. Joe and Steven even allowed us to change the siding style right before the project started. Even let us change the gable vents! All these little extra details set Tulsa Renew so far apart from their competition its not even close!Both the install crew and the painting crew were soooo nice! They literally felt like family when they were onsite. Very respectful, friendly, fun to be around. They also kept an impeccably clean jobsite. They picked up after themselves all day long, then did a final walk around at the end of the day to ensure everything was neatly put away or thrown away before they left. They didnt mind answering questions from inquiring minds such as myself.Thank you Tulsa Renew!!! Steven, Joe, John, Jairo, Nahun, Casey, Corey, paint crew (sorry i didnt get your names), truly thank you. Your work speaks for itself, but to know the person behind that work makes it so much better. We love our new home and are so glad you all were apart of the transformation!

    Steven Jones and the entire staff went above and beyond what they were contracted to do. They completely renovated the entire outside of our lake home including the deck floor, porch ceilings, siding, and garage doors. They also transformed our large detached garage making it look new.     Im so thankful to have found out about Steven and Tulsa Renew! I contacted the company based on all the positive reviews and Im really glad I did. I knew this was a different kind of company when Steven, the owner, personally contacted me a short time after seeing my request for info. We set up an appointment to discuss siding and when he arrived Steven took the time to walk with me around the house to get an idea of what I needed. He worked with me based on what I could afford and I really appreciate that! The project manager, Joe, is also great to work with and both he and Steven were always more than willing to answer my questions and concerns. The crews did great work on repairs, installation and painting and Im so grateful to have the damaged areas both repaired and protected. I could have gone with other siding but its a long term investment and I shouldnt have to worry about replacing it in my older years. I highly recommend Tulsa Renew!     Above and beyond!After a very negative and costly contractor experience a few years back, my husband and I were reluctant to jump into a new, but much needed, home project. We put it off as long as we could, but our peeling and rotting wood siding needed to be replaced. We spent months after meeting with Steven and other area siding contractors researching companies and their product offerings. We chose Tulsa Renew and are so glad we did! Steven didnt just renew our home, he renewed our faith in contractors. He was accessible and stayed in constant communication with us, immediately addressing any concerns we might express. His crew was courteous and respectful (sadly, Ive learned with other home repair and property maintenance companies that this isnt something to take as a given). The work started and was completed when promised.Additionally, Steven noted some areas that needed refreshing or repair and asked if he could take care of those for us, without bumping up our quoted price! It is clear he cares about the health of his business, actively managing and overseeing all aspects of it. But even more, I think he values leaving behind happy clients who love their home, which indeed we are.

    The absolute best communication and efficiency around! We where amazed at how efficient the guys where.     Overall experience I would give Tulsa renew an A compared to other contractors and quality of work. They do good work and have friendly, knowledgable workers (Jose was great). They are about 1/3 higher in price then there competition but you get what you pay for. Steven is a very nice guy and he will suck you right in when he comes out, his knowledge and personality get you hooked and the promises of superior work and the details hes going to add make you feel better to spend extra to get better quality work. They fit us in quick and finished the job in a reasonable amount of time, and it looks fantastic.

    Loved being able to schedule an appointment online. Great communication and fast service! Steven was so nice and had done his homework ahead of our appointment to make things so quickly.     Tulsa Renew rebuilt my very decrepit chimney. The siding had water damage due to not being built correctly in the first place. The guys came out and had the thing rebuilt in less than a day. The painters came the next day and finished it up. It looks far better than the original chimney. They corrected the mistakes and used far superior materials. I wish I could use it as my storm shelter because its probably the best built part of my home now.I chose Tulsa Renew because of their reputation. They were recommended to me by a friend.     We highly recommend Tulsa Renew to anyone needing an exterior home renovation.Our experience: Our two-story Colonial Revival was covered in thirty-year old Masonite, and it was becoming a hassle to maintain and had become unsightly. We knew there was water damage underneath the existing siding and decided to act before it worsened. It was going to be a big job.After meeting with several builders, we decided on Tulsa Renew based on its reputation, competitive price, and comfort with owner Steven Jones. Steven made us feel very at ease with the huge task at hand. He had an answer for all of our questions, and he had a plan for every detail. He took us to some of their recently completed projects to show us the finished product, and we were blown away. We went with Hardie siding and paint.The work started quickly and the crew was very friendly and professional. They were sensitive to our home and work schedules and were mindful that we have dogs and young children. Our project was complete in about 2 weeks and we were very pleased with the final product. The paint crew was amazing, and we cannot stop looking at the house now that its done.As with any large construction project, no matter who does the work, there will be issues. We checked on the progress multiple times per day and would find things that needed to be addressed (exposed blind nails, blind nails placed where finish nails go, inconsistent lap profile heights, laps not matching at a corner, etc.). We were initially disappointed in some of these details that seemed to be overlooked, especially when the details were one of the main selling points that influenced our decision. We wondered if some of these things would have been fixed had we not said anything. However, Steven was always very prompt, understanding, and professional when we found things that needed to be addressed. It was obvious that our satisfaction was very important to him. All of our concerns were resolved by the time the project was finished.Finally, the warranty and service after completion is incredible. We will never have to worry about our homes exterior again.     Had a confirmed appointment to meet with Steve about replacement windows and doors. After waiting more than half an hour after the appointment time I called them. The person I spoke to said they would contact Steve and have him call me about why he was late and when he might be there. Was told he Steve would be in touch very shortly. Twenty four hours later and Steve has yet to call. Lousy customer service in my opinion. Im not recommending Tulsa renew to anyone!Following my above post Mr. Jones immediately contacted me and expressed his embarrassment over the missed appointment.     What a great company to do business with. The owner, Steve, is a great guy. Very knowledgeable, friendly and picky to boot. Tulsa Renew is a certified, elite contractor that installs Hardie Plank siding. This was very important to us, as this assures us not only a quality job, but a valid warranty with Hardie. Steve has put together a great team, that does excellent work. The siding installers, gutter folks, concrete workers, and painters are all prompt, friendly and do quality work.     We were very pleased with the work performed by Tulsa Renew. Steve and Keith are extremely knowledgeable about the Hardie siding product and the installation guidelines and requirements. They put us at ease by answering all our questions and giving great explanations, whereas, a couple other Hardie suppliers which sell and install the product, could not give satisfactory explanations, nor could they put us at ease with our concerns regarding the Hardie product or installation. In fact, their responses only created more questions and concerns for us.     Im delighted with the work the Tulsa Renew did for us. I was looking for someone to install cement siding (e.g. Hardie Board) as well as cedar siding and shakes. Id been impressed by the work theyd done on another house nearby. I got a bid from them as well as from two other contractors, and I went to look at houses all the contractors had worked on. In terms of the price, the bids were very close. What impressed me about the Tulsa Renew, though, was Steves attention to detail in the process of assembling the bid. Im picky and there were a lot of details (not all of them conventional) that I wanted to be just so. Steve discussed them all at length with me and helped me to come up with the best materials / techniques to realize them. He even helped me to tweak things a couple of times after Id signed the contract. Steve got involved in the project at time of production, once the work started. As with Steve I felt strongly that he wanted to do all he could to make sure I was as happy as possible with the result. The same was true of the two guys, who did the actual work. They checked in with me about design details, were very pleasant to have around, and did a meticulous job. As I said, Im delighted with how it turned out. I would--and am!--enthusiastically recommending them to anyone looking for a contractor to do siding or window work.

    Customer Service - The owner, Steve Jones, was polite, fair, knowledgeable and very helpful in describing what needed to be done and the best way to approach each issue. The project manager, Kieth, who oversaw the work, was helpful, a good communicator and very patient, especially when it came to helping us select paint colors. All workers on the job were polite and appeared to be hard workers doing quality work. It was obvious to me throughout the job that quality and customer service were top priorities and that Tulsa Renew ultimately wanted our working with them to be a positive experience.Scope of Work - The home is a 3100 sf single story ranch style home with a combination of rock siding and wood with 3 large gables. Tulsa Renew was hired to remove damaged wood, install James Hardy siding, cover wood window frames with flashing or Hardy siding, caulk the rock wood interfaces and paint the exterior of the home.Price - My initial impression of the price quote was that it was on the high side, but I somewhat begrudgingly accepted it. However, when I saw the man hours involved in accomplishing the work and the quality of work performed by Tulsa Renew, I believe the work was done for a fair price and I am very happy that I had them do the work. My house looks new, it is protected from deterioration and fire and the Hardy Board has eliminated the need for a great deal of future maintenance to the exterior. Tulsa Renew warranted the paint for life. I am 100% satisfied with the price and quality of work done by Tulsa Renew.Quality - Everything done was top of the line quality. Tyvek moisture barrier was installed beneath all Hardy siding. The craftsman installing the siding removed deteriorated wood and did an excellent job of matching the original house style with Hardy board. The painters did an excellent job caulking and used a Sherwin Williams caulk rated at 55 years. Three colors of Sherwin Williams paint were used to cover the eves, garage door, trim and main house. An additional color was used for the front door and they hand painted a bench next to our front door. There was no skimping on paint quality and no complaints about our desire to use four different colors (including the front door).Bottom Line - 1. Fair price, 2. Excellent quality workmanship, 3. Top notch materials, 4. Excellent communication, 5. Very positive experience

    My home has now been RENEWED!!!!!!!!! We narrowed down the choice between Tulsa Renew and Burnett Siding, just felt more comfortable with Steven and his company. Couldn’t imaging this project going any smoother. Plus the James Hardie siding is soooooo much better than the LP siding or any vinyl siding could be that other people where offerering.     We are so thankful we went to the January Expo 2015 catering to home owners looking at remodeling and gardening. Our purpose was to find a siding company to redo our exterior completely. At the expo we met Steve Jones with Tulsa Renew and learned about James Hardie board or siding. We did not commit to Steve immediately but got a bid along with two other companies that used aluminum siding. Our first clue in deciding to go with James Hardie board was the appearance after completion. We could always spot the houses before we were in front of them byhow it appeared - so new even especially next to installed aluminum siding. Some of the houses we visited had the installation done five years ago and still looked brand new with no complaints from the home owners. That convinced us to go with Tulsa Renew but what makes me so happy that we did was the material arrived late and installation occurred while we were on Spring break. My confidence in Steve and Keith was not shaken with the idea we would be gone and my level increased with each night we would watch the video sent to us of the work done that day and how it was progressing. We had new windows installed too and did that before we were on vacation but the siding and painting was done extraordinary well all without our suppervision. All the necessary repairs that were needed were done professionally too. You will not go wring with choosing Tulsa Renew, a quality product with professionalism from the people who discuss the paint colors to the installation to the follow up for any small missing details. Yes they are very detailed and is why it is such a great product and we are super happy with the out come.

    We had vinyl siding on our home that had hail damage and some had even blown off in a wind storm several months ago so I did extensive online research for a Tulsa siding company to replace all of our siding. Tulsa Renew came up right away with outstanding reviews so I set up an appointment with them. Steven, the owner came out and gave me some great ideas! It was like he “just got me” and we signed up with him. Our home is a registered historic house in the Swan Lake district so we needed to go to the Preservation Committee for the City of Tulsa for approval. Steven handled all of these meetings for us as our representative and got us approved in no time. The only material that the Tulsa Preservation Society will let anyone use on historic homes are wood or the James Hardie siding product. We knew we didn’t want to go back with wood because of the obvious maintenance so went with the Hardie siding. Steven was able to match the way the house looked originally by using a smooth Hardie plank lap siding with the same width lap it had from the 20’s. He even had his guys install a whole new front door and custom shutters they made out of the Hardie trim. Looks amazing and we LOVE the simple, clean look. Hire these guys!!! They are AMAZING!!!

    I met with Steven, the owner, to discuss replacing the siding on my house, which is starting to show its age. He was very courteous and professional, and offered me several solutions to help meet the quoted price for a complete replacement. When I further discussed with him my plans for the house and the timeframe, he suggested I forego replacing the siding in favor of repairs and touch-up work. His justification is that the siding is still in decent shape with the exception of a few trouble spots, and that a full replacement would not be a sound investment on the property given the amount of time I plan to own it. He then forwarded me his estimate, along with contact information for other companies in town who would be able to assist me should I decide to go the repair route instead of the replacement route.This says a lot to me about Steven as a person and about Tulsa Renew as a company. Regardless of whether or not I use them on this project, they have definitely earned my trust and respect, and they will be the first company I turn to the next time I am in need of the services they provide.
