Alternative plumbing came out Friday evening on a holiday weekend and diagnosed my water main break. They discussed my options for repair and had a crew back Monday morning to replace my water line. I was very impressed with the speedy service. They do quality work at a fair price.

I cannot say enough good things about Alternative Plumbing. I leave on a slab in Lambertville and there is ALWAYS something plumbing happening. Let me start with the team that answers the phone are friendly and take notes to get you to the correct team. I had one team come out to try and snake the back up.. Conner 1.0 and team were on time talked me through what they found, cleaned up and directed me to a solution. Team two.. Bobby and Conner 2.0 ... absolutely amazing. They had to dig up the slab in my laundry, found the break that Conner 1.0 described, they repaired and re-concreted in 48-hours. Thank you team. I can finally do laundry at home without my pipe backing up. -- This was a very stressful adventure the whole team was amazing.

This crew was awesome with great communication, pricing, and timeliness. After a month of having the city look at bubbling water under our driveway, they stated there was leak in the pipeline between the city and house connection with risk of turning off water. Alternative was able to provide an estimate at half the price of another company within a week. They completed the work of boring a new line, providing code required valves inside, and minimal concrete repair within a day. They did this with little interruption while I worked from home and dealt with an irate neighbor(unnecessary) in a professional manor. HIGHLY recommend this company!

This review is long overdue. In October of 2022, Alternative Plumbing installed a new main water line for my home. The original, 60 year old copper line was leaking 50 gallons a day, and I felt it was time.Alternative came out in the morning to dig near my meter to first see if there was an issue with the connection. There wasnt one, which meant it was the line. So, I gave them the OK to install a new line. The rest of the crew showed up with their ling boring machine a short time later.By the end of the day, I had a new line and the big hole in my yard near the meter was back filled. It was almost as if no one had been there--thats how low-impact their service is in terms of the yard! I was impressed by their professionalism and their competence. The crew was a good bunch of guys. I highly recommend Alternative. And the price was reasonable.

Highly recommend this company! They did an EXCELLENT job on a brand new water line for me, at a very great and fair price! About a week later I noticed that the water pressure wasnt coming out strong, so they sent Cody out to check on it and he was able to fix the issue super fast and didnt even charge me since they had just come out recently to do the water line. Highly recommend them. They are fair, honest, and do great work. You wont be disappointed by choosing them for all your plumbing needs.

Cody and Isaiah just came out to take care of some roots and video scope the main line of a home Im in the process of selling. They have the tools for the job. I was pretty impressed theyre not using the standard equipment, but much more powerful stuff. They ran the cable cleaner, then took a video scope to see how well it was. They went all the way to the city main sewer line and found 2 spots to clean up. Cody was the technician and Isaiah his apprentice. They made another run hitting it pretty good and rescoped the line. I was able to watch the video of the line and it was great to see, to my surprise, how clean it is and the tile was all in great shape for being in place since 1971. This was money well spent. I wish I used them for the 15 years I lived in this house, it would have been cheaper in the long run especially visually seeing it was right. I should mention, last week I had another plumber clean it out but during the home sale inspection they saw plenty of roots with just a simple hole in them. That actually had cost me just as much.

We discovered a leak in our ceiling and our concerns grew after opening up the drywall. We gave Alternative Plumbing a call right before closing Monday night and the office staff were so friendly and kind on the phone and got us scheduled for the next day to take a look and give us a quote. We had the pleasure of working with Tylor and Jordan and within 24 hours, our leak is fixed and we are confident in their work and happy with the repair. Their prices are fair and they answered every question we had.I highly recommend Alternative Plumbing, and they were even recommended to us by another plumbing company who couldnt see us right away. I can see why everyone speaks highly of them and recommends them. They are a great company and we look forward to working with them in the future for some plumbing upgrades in our home. From our initial consultation with Mark the owner we felt very confident the job would be done correctly. Mark and his team exceeded all of our expectations on the line installation. The customer service representatives were very efficient and responsive. The skilled crew performing the installation got the job done correctly and on schedule. It is obvious that excellent customer service is their focus at Alternative Plumbing Plus. Certainly that is top-down driven. Alternative was very responsive to an urgent issue we had with draining. Unlike another plumbing company I used in the past, they ran a camera from the septic tank and immediately discovered we had a broken pipe. They got the clog free so we could use toilets and showers again then came back to repair the break.The old pipe leading from the house was cheap ABS. Alternative dug out the pipe without breaking up our concrete patio, replaced most of the pipe with rigid schedule 40, and weve been going clog free ever since.Great pricing. Small nitpick: when I tried to schedule the large work of digging up and replacing the pipe, I only found out after the workers left that Id need to pay a deposit to get that work scheduled. Had I known I could have paid that while they were there.Again, very good pricing and excellent work. I wouldnt hesitate calling them again.

I called Alternative Plumbing in the morning with a possible plumbing problem. The woman who answered the phone was very helpful and scheduled an appointment for that day between 1:00pm -5:00pm. She also stated that she would call when their technician Mark was on his way. She did call to let me know that he was on his way and it was earlier than expected which was a bonus. Mark arrived & was very professional and solved our problem. I would recommend them from my experience.

I highly recommend Alternative Plumbing. We had a major main sewer back up on a Saturday night. We couldnt run water or use the bathroom. The smell was rancid though out the house. First thing on Sunday morning, we called a different company. They didnt show up until 6pm. They told us it was going to be $280/hr and itll be a mininum of 2 hours but couldnt start until the next afternoon. We decided time call Alternative Plumbing on Monday morning. They were here within 2 hours.A 2 man crew went right to work. They used their auger and knew exactly how to manuever our small bathroom and the tight crawl space. They hard worked for hours and hours trying to break through. The sewer back up was very solid. At one point they said we may have to get an excavator to dig and clear the line. That would cost $1000s. They called the owner and he gave them some suggestions. They finally broke through. We were relieved. The two guys scrapped out the sewer backup in our bathtub and then asked for disinfectant with bleach to clean the tub, floors and walls. We were very impressed. We are grateful that they worked hard to save us $1000s. Thank you Alternative Plumbing!

I am tackling replumbing my house on my own. I came to part of it where I knew I would encounter problems I could not predict due to the age of the pipes and being very close to the main line in the house. So I decided to call them as I have used them in the past and been happy. They came out and sure enough problems unfolded. But they were able to solve the issues quickly. If I had encountered these problems I would have been without water and had to make an emergency call which would have cost more. I will continue to work on the plumbing in the house but there are a few places I will probably bring them in again because it there are a few more areas where I know it will not go as planned due to the age of the system.

I spoke with Heather and told her Nate Bomyea referred Mark to me (with speaking with her I got a sense of relief due to her helpfulness). She said she will contact him and let me know and see when he could come out. She called back and said he will be out this afternoon and she will call to let me know that he was on his way (which she did). Mark arrived & was very professional and explained in detail step by step what was going to happen. The crew showed up and did what they said they were going to do and Bobby made sure I was good with the clean up before they left. Its Wednesday now and I have water thanks to this amazing team of people.

I called Alternative Plumbing Plus because my plumbing was gurgling like crazy. The diagnosis was a blockage in the sewer line. Cody and Isaiah checked the line with a camera and found a break in the tile, the job suddenly became bigger than expected. They showed me pictures of the broken tile and explained the steps to fix it. When they were finished outside, they checked the plumbing inside the house, only to find there was still some gurgling. Into the crawlspace they went to clear the line. They did a fantastic job, and they were polite, professional and upbeat all day. Thanks, Cody and Isaiah!!
