They addressed challenges unique to my house (like joist placements) while keeping everything aligned with my vision for the recessed lighting in three bedrooms. They also completed all the other electrical items on our list. Everything was finished flawlessly!Their attention to detail, efficiency, and friendly demeanor made the entire process stress-free. I realized the day before Hurricane Helene was supposed to make landfall that I was no longer on septic and would need power for my grinder pump to work, but had no interlock kit for my generator. I was not optimistic at all when I started calling electrical companies in the morning to see if one could come install one, and the first four that I called all told me there was no way to make it happen. GT Electric was my fifth call and SK was great. She assured me they’d be by at some point, she just couldn’t guarantee a time because of how chaotic their schedule had become. Sure enough, GT’s techs were at the house at 7pm and got the connection installed. We lost power the next day and my generator ran the house without a hitch.GT Electric was my fifth call that day, but from now on they’ll be my first for any kind of electrical need.

He put into motion a service call that met my needs. The electrician that came to my hone was Justin Kelly. He located the problem and fixed it immediately! I would GT Electic to anyone!

Ralph and Jose came and installed 3 low profile gallery light fixtures for a small art wall in my master wing. They were so respectful, thoughtful and didn’t cut any corners. My husband contacted GT Electric a couple of weeks ago for assistance with an electrical issue we were having at our home in Monticello. We were surprised to find that one of their electricians would be able to come out so quickly, and that they actually showed up! Two knowledgeable, friendly and efficient technicians arrived at my home in the time frame that I was given, 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm, and after 45 minutes were able to solve the issue. We had a slight issue with billing, so I reached out to the owner Ben. Talk about customer service! Ben immediately responded to my concerns, and handled everything with professionalism and respect. I was impressed already with the technicians, but to meet an owner of a business who shows support not only to his employees, but also to the customer, made it an easy decision to write this review, and spread the word on a really great family owned company. It can be hard to find an electrician who even returns your calls, much less show up, so to find a company like GT Electric who were friendly and knowledgeable from the initial call, to the completed work, even following up to make sure we were happy with our service and experience, is almost unheard of. I highly recommend using GT Electric for your electrical needs.

Jacob was so professional and was able to install two light fixtures that were very tricky to change because they were in very high, and titled ceilings. He did the job carefully and quick, and was nice enough to even dust a vent that was way too high for me to clean due to not having a ladder that was high enough. He is the best! And will definitely look for him again when I need anything electric.

I called GT Electric because several of my neighbors had positive experiences with GT. Justin led the crew to install outside floodlights and under-deck floodlights. These guys are the “Seal Team 6” of getting stuff done! They showed up right on time and within a few short hours exceeded my expectations in the end product. They were stealth while working and left the place spotless. My only concern was, after my wife checked the job, they were done and gone before I could personally thank them. The entire project even passed the “white-glove test” of satisfying The Goddess, my wife! Double thumbs up on Justin and GT Electric.

GT Electric performed a full electrical audit (inspection) of my home to ensure my 30+ year old home was up to code. They discovered some minor issues and one major issue in my panel that was a potential fire hazard which they resolved immediately. They also installed a surge protector for my home. The crew of Jose and Justin D. were exceptional, thorough, very knowledgeable, and explained everything in a way that was easily understandable. I highly recommend GT Electric and could not be more pleased with their service!

Update: August 2022I reviewed GT Electric several years ago when they did some work at my house. I was extremely pleased with my experience at that time.I called them back needing more work done. Francis was very helpful and friendly and set up an appointment for me. Jose Garcia came out to do the work on my home. He informed me every step of the way about what he was doing. He was professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant.It was so nice to see that their work ethic had not changed in the past few years that Ive known them. You really couldnt ask for a better company when you need electrical work done!Previous work:Im sorry I didnt get the names of the two nicest employees I have ever met. GT electric did some work at my house and did an absolutely great job. These two employees had worked all day at my house and got stuck in my yard after working a very long day in the cold.They never got flustered or upset and were extremely pleasant. I cant say enough nice things about these two men. Because of them I will use GT electric again.

We had a major electrical problem while I was out of the country. As a result the entire meter needed replaced. The entire GT electric team was so helpful to facilitate the repair, and work with me around the world, and coordinate with the city to turn on/off power, and even work to rendezvous and schedule with my friend to open the house. The fix took a few visits, they even stopped by on the weekend to do some service so I would be ready before I returned to the country. With all that, in the end, the final bill was under their estimate. Cannot complain at all, and Im super super thankful for their work.

So my wife and I bought a new house(1993), called GT Electric to get some rewiring done which Aaron and Christian did a phenomenal job at doing, but unfortunately it was not the correct wire, all because our Cable provider had not provided the details and specifics that were needed to my wife and I in order to relay to GT. I then called GT and spoke with Jose and explained everything and he and his crew came out immediately, no questions asked, and not just once, but twice due to some difficulties in our walls, but he got us all fixed up and didnt charge us a dime on these last 2 visits when they probably could have, and most companies probably would have, regardless if it was the cable providers fault on not communicating well. So, in the future, we will be using GT for any our future electrical work, and we will be referring them to all of our family and friends in the area. Thanks Jose, Aaron, Christian, and the 4th guy that came out today with Jose. Yall are the best. Keep it up!

GT electric was there to solve the problem when nobody else was. They even made a late night house call when I had a problem after the line was replaced. After replacing a power line, they restored power to my house. I returned to my house to find I still couldn’t turn on the power. It was 10:00PM on Friday night and I was worried I might have to go without power all weekend. Not only did they answer the phone, but Jose came out to my house within the hour. I had mistakenly caused the problem by keeping the meter head locked inside, which kept the city inspector from reconnecting it. It was not the problem or responsibility of GT electric to fix my mistake, but they quickly came to the rescue anyway. I will always use GT electric going forward.

Highly recommend GT Electric! Was referred to them by a long-time friend and client who is a satisfied customer. Everyone involved, from Jason and Sonya (who I spoke with on phone) to Jose Garcia (operations mgr), who came out and did the inspection/diagnosis and the work itself (with his assistant, Wesley? Sorry, my mind just went blank on his name!), were extremely professional, courteous, and a pleasure to work with! They were on time, consistently an effective intermediary/advocate on my behalf with my electric provider, Talquin, and helped speed up the repair process greatly. Jose is extremely knowledgable, friendly, and patient, and answered all my questions clearly, pleasantly, and without hesitation or condescension, teaching this largely clueless customer a lot about how electricity works, and how to troubleshoot problems. He also, happily, made a point of finding the quickest, most cost-effective, safe and professional solution to solving our emergency electrical issues--which is a godsend in a service industry that is, admittedly, not without its price gougers. I/we will definitely use their services in the future without hesitation, and recommend them to others!

With the uncertainty of this hurricane coming our way I didnt want to take any chances on our brand new appliances and any of my husbands gaming consoles. I found out you could get a surge protector for your whole house built into the electrical panel. I got the 120 KA surge protector. If lightning hits are something makes the power surge it wont destroy all my appliances or Tvs! One last thing to worry about. The 2 dudes came by on time and were super nice and professional and it only took them less than an hour to install. Their names were Sammy and Jose and I will totally be using them for all my future Stuff! I totally recommend everyone should have one of these things!

They explained the process and time envolved. They were booked out, but because of the circumstances, Jack Stinson and Tyler Jessup gave out their 4th of July to work on her townhouse. Jose Garcia rushed the materials, and their team was skillful and polite. I can not not tell how pleased I was with our experience with GT Electric.
