    We have sewer problem every couple of months but usually with some Drano it clears up within few hours. This time our 2 toilets were not flushing and dirty sewer water was backing up into our showers. After multiple attempts of Drano and snake we were unable to clear the clogging. Having a 7 months pregnant wife we are in desperate need of working toilets, and showers of course.We called the first company we found on google which said it is 24/7, granted it was 5 pm on a Sunday we didnt expect much. The operator was very nice and professional and said she can have someone come within 90 minutes.... very impressed...She also said the technician will cal 30 minutes prior to their arrival.Not even 30 minutes later we get a call that technician is outside??? Even more impressed!His name was Ray and he quickly assessed our problem and recommended clearing the drain from the main line , makes sense.Yes the price was not the cheapest however the operator said if we ask not agree with an estimate, they do not charge for a service call. We agreed with the price because it was Sunday and they showed up very quickly and Ray was very nice and we really really need working toilets in this house.He cleared the drain fast and even gave us a 30 day guarantee.Honestly, outstanding company and service, highly recommend and Ray, you are awesome and continue providing people with your great service!

    Very pleased, my Mainline was backed up. Russell was amazing and didnt give up until the camera showed it needed to be replaced.Vince and Russell worked up a plan that worked for my situation with the help of Management. The work was completed within the day. I cannot say enough about Russell and Vince they were Professional and extremely helpful!So Grateful I found and used ARS RESCUE ROOTER.

    John was very helpful and very knowledgeable about the problem my house was having. He unclogged the pipes and make the shower, sink and toilet run the water easy. He explained what to do and what not to do for this problem not to happen again. He also told me if it happens again in the next 90 days , he will come and do it a not charge. That is a nice warranty. I highly recommend them, they were nice on the phone and nice here, even John’s supervisor Vincent came to check. I will call them again anytime I have a plumbing issue.     Rescue Rooter was great. I had a sewer line that failed and they handled it with such ease and precision explaining and showing me where the many issues in the entire line were. I had them replace it and could not have been more satisfied with their professionalism at every aspect and their fees are within industry standards. If your looking for a cheap way out go elsewhere. They not only do detailed class A work the city inspector was here for less than a minute and signed off on it.Shout out to Marco and Vince as these two guys are superstars at this company. I would not only use them for other plumbing issues but recommend them to anyone. Any negative reviews about price are from folks who want cheap shoddy work done or expect folks to work for peanuts.Great company and you get an honest quote.Thanks guys.

    Water was backed up in our kitchen sink after using laundry. Called Rescue Rooter and they have sent the technician quickly. Carols seems very experienced and quickly assessed the situation and explained me the situation. He fixed the issue very quickly and waited until we used laundry to make sure water is not backing up in the kitchen sink again. I’m very grateful to Rescue Rooter and Carols for fixing the issue quickly for a reasonable price and very quick. I will use them every single time!!!

    From the moment i called until the plumber arrived, it was a wonderful experience! Albert Flores showed up on time. He was kind, professional, extremely knowledgeable and very conscientious. He had to replace our garbage disposal and then cleaned up the mess. He explained what he was doing and did not make us feel stupid or embarrassed for asking questions. He is a great Asset to your company. I would gladly recommend your company to our family and friends. On a scale from 1 to 10, i would give him an #11!!! Keep up the great work!

    After calling Roto-Rooter on a Sunday morning, they had someone out within an hr and on time!Moses was the plumber who arrived. He was polite and professional. He gave me all my options and was able to fix the problem with a cheaper option which saved us a lot of money. All around great experience, definitely recommend for your plumbing issues.

    Rescue rooter was the only 24 hour emergency plumbing company that had someone available24 hours. Josh was amazing! He came to my house after midnight. He was very polite, compassionate about my problem and stayed untilIt was resolved. He didn’t give up and left everything clean. I would recommend Josh and rescue rooter to everyone.

    We had a water leak coming from inside the wall and ARS saved us! They came out and mapped out a plan to fix the leak and had it fixed within the week! Russell is an ALL STAR PLUMBER and does amazing work, Vince also did an amazing job at explaining what the process was going to be. I recommend saving this company for ALL of your plumbing needs!

    As a first time homeowner, this was my first time calling a plumbing service. I decided to go with this company because of all the great reviews and they did not disappoint. Ray was great. He made sure to explain every detail needed before the procedure. Although the price wa just a little higher than I expected I did not mind it because the customer service was exceptional and it was under an hour.

    I am so happy I called Rescue Rooter! I was very impressed with entire service I received. For starters the dispatcher, Roxy, was very nice and helpful over the phone. She also called to let me know when a tech was on his way and who would be arriving. When Carlos showed up he was clean, professional and greeted me with a smile. Thats always nice because sometimes you can be in a crappy mood (LOL) when you have plumbing issues. Well, Carlos was super cool and helpful. He knows what he is doing and is very knowledgeable.     Had a major problem with a kitchen drain. Richard came out with Ian and tried to clear the clog but couldnt. Their supervisor (Juan) came out and after researching the problem showed me that I had impacted mud in my line due to a hair-line fracture in the pipe. Juan offered me a quote that shocked me but after he got me off the ceiling, I realized that they were the best people for the job. Richard never left the job (which was extensive) and was always there to answer my questions and explain what they were doing.It was a pricey (IMO) solution but there was not other way to do the repair other than to re-pipe the house (not an option). They worked for two days and in the end, everything is better than it have ever been and I even got a 5 year warranty!I highly recommend Rescue Rooter and especially Richard for excellent customer service with a Can-Do attitude.Im hoping I wont be seeing them for a while but Ill certainly be telling everyone I know about this company and about Richard.Thank you Richard and Rescue Rooter.

    Outdoor drain clogged on Friday afternoon. Rescue Rooter was quick to take my information and dispatched a specialist. Margarita came and worked on the mess until it was fully resolved. Hes super nice and easy to work with. Despite running overtime on a start of his anniversary weekend, he was patient and sympathetic to my problem. He was reassuring and thoroughat the task at hand. Needless to say, he saved our day!

    These are my families go go guys!! They are priced very well for being in the valley, have same day repairs, friendly and professional, plus they do septic services. We always have problems with our septic backing up into our other shower they came in crawled under our house to fix the problem. We havent had an issue since, fingers crossed.     Joshua knew exactly the nature of the plumbing problem. He fixed it immediately and I was pleasantly surprised at how fast he completed the repairs. He also checked out pressure regulator to see if it was a cause of the problem. The pressure was fine so that was not a source of the problem. I applaud his knowledge and skill to have us get our water back and running!

    I give this service rep 5 starts, because he was helpful, friendly, prompt, courteous, efficient and professional. I would not use this company again, however, because I feel that they are practicing deceptive advertising with their $59 un-clog special. I explained my issue clearly to the appointment scheduler. At no time was I advised that my issue was possibly not going to fall under the work covered by the special they advertised. When David arrived to do the work, he advised that it was not considered something that would be covered by the special that was advertised. Nonetheless, he was good at his job, so I can definitely recommend him!

    I had a main line clog and old drainage pipes. We called and John showed up the same day and saw the problem. It was a major job. All of the drain pipes would have to be replaced. I expected us to be down for weeks. John came in with a team on Tuesday morning and we were up and running by Wednesday evening. John was polite knowledgeable and explained everything clearly.     I initially contacted Rescue Rooter to fix some things noted on the home inspection when we purchased our home; adding a drain line and pan and an expand tank to my water heater and fixing the drain line on my dishwasher. While under the kitchen sink fixing the drain line for the dishwasher the service tech noticed the plumbing for the kitchen sink was all wrong. To make a long story short - that one “little fix” for the dishwasher drain line uncovered a much bigger problem that involved cutting open the outside wall to gain access to the pipes. While doing a through assessment of the situation before giving me a quote, it was also discovered that there was a break in my sewer line. I’m happy I called them!     I had water backing up into my home recently, and I knew the scope of mitigating the problem was more than I would be able to handle alone. Russell was the first person I spoke to from Rescue Rooter, and my first impression was that he was a professional man who was straight-forward and understood not only the source of the problem, but how to communicate that to me clearly. The work took for days to complete, and Russell was there each day making sure that it was done to the highest standards. When it was done, he summarized the job, walking me to the various points where holes had been dug and clean-outs had been installed, providing details that put my mind at ease knowing that I was finally free off the issue. He even took time to voluntarily wipe the bathroom floor where he had removed my toilet for the initial inspection. I have dealt with plumbing companies in the past, but I have never encountered one with such high integrity, nor an employee who represents that so well. Thank you Russell for your dedication.

    Vince arrived on time. He cleaned out the sludge from our kitchen pipe so that the water could drain. He did not charge us as we were still under warranty from the last time Rescue Rooter came out. He suggested we use heavy duty degreaser, in our kitchen drain which I think was a good suggestion.     We had a sudden back up of both bathroom toilets, and I had the dreadful feeling that this was really bad. Called rescue rooter, and they came as promptly as they could--seems like it was 2 hours. Ahmed, very pleasant, empathetic, and considerate came, with his well equipped truck, and quickly assessed the situation as needing a powerful snake to clear the line. The snake ran into an obstacle, and Ahmed showed me the tip was not proceeding and hitting dirt, meaning there was a hole in the line. He called for video confirmation, and another plumber Vince came to video; the video showed that the cast iron drainage pipe was corroded badly, and had cracks and holes. They videoed to the street, as the drainage pipes were all 60 years old, except for a small section of clay pipe that I had replaced almost 10 years ago. The section going to the street sewer was intact, but the joints were loose, and ready to give way. 2 options were proposed, one to re pipe the corroded area only, or to go to the street connection while Rescue Rooters were there, avoiding tearing up the street and paying enormous extra $$$ in the imminent future. Option 1 was about $10,000, and Option 2 was about $18,700.Since the line ran under the house and under a concrete patio and deck, I was faced with the prospect of tearing up the whole side of the house. However CIPP (cured in place pipe) is now available, which places a new PVC pipe within the old by pumping curable pipe compound inside, forming a new pipe.Luckily, my old cast iron piping was not completely in pieces, and could withstand the process, which involves reaming out the inside surface, re videoing all the time to check on progress and pipe condition, power washing, application of dis solvent, before the actual re pipe could begin. I chose Option 2.Needless to say, this four day process was very stressful, with water off for several hour periods, no use of the bathrooms, no laundry, no dishwasher, not showers, crews there all the time, with large trucks parked in the drive.Ahmed was there the whole time, checking the progress, supervising the crews, working at tearing up a minimal amount of concrete for access, securing permits, keeping me informed of timing and what was to come next, and listening to my stress complaints. He made the process so much easier, being mindful of how much disruption this was for the owner and possibly neighbors. They provided new flush out access, as the old one was not easily entered.Every crew that came-jackhammers and dirt removal, reaming out crew, pipe pumping crew--all arrived promptly, were quiet as possible, courteous, knew precisely what they were doing, were supervised by Ahmed, and all removed debris promptly. The crew that blew in the new PVC had a very large truck full of equipment to accurately perform the final step in the most efficient way, and worked hard to do this difficult process. The job was seamless in its total duration, and they tried to make every disruption as short as possible. The piping carries a guarantee of 10 years.The company has an arrangement to time pay, or to finance the whole amount with no interest if it is paid within a year. They are strict with this arrangement, and the buyer has to be wary of the year deadline to pay the bill. Of course, I was floored and stunned by the $18,700 needed to re pipe approximately 55 linear feet. I questioned both Vince and Ahmed about this, and was informed that this re pipe process is the most expensive, but the demolition alternative is not pleasant either. I still dont know if this price is within normal range, but am relieved to have this problem solved by Ahmed and his multiple skilled crews.Only four stars just because of the $$$$ price.

    5 stars for their phone answering service and the fact that they were able to come out the same day. Only really disappointing thing was that when the plumber said the toilet had to be removed temporarily to snake the drain, he quoted us $500, which is just crazy. We removed it ourselves in under 5 minutes while he went to grab the snaking tool from his truck, and put it back after. Ended up owing $88, which was reasonable.

    I had a problem with plumbing running under the slab of the house. Ignacio and his people did a really good job fixing the problem. He personally did some little side jobs for me. He replaced the faucets to the washing machine and patched the wall where the workmen had caused some minor damage. I am very satisfied with the work they did. I will definitely call Rescue Rooter again if I need them.

    Hello. I had a big job on replacing the 64 year old pipe behind the sink. It was something that had to get done and access was needed from the kitchen, under the house and outside the house. OMG... walls needed to be cut!!! Of course since usually all plumbing problems happen on a Sunday, I made the call to ARS/Rescue Rooter and an entire team came out promptly within 90 minutes. The team was professional and the job was done right and fast (and the walls were patched). Afterward, the site was cleaned up... spotless. Its rare for a group to have passion and knowledge on getting the job done and right. I would recommend this company.

    Hector did an outstanding job. He is not only competent but trustworthy - a combination hard to find in this day and age.     We had the unfortunate event happen of our pipes cracking underneath our house near the foundation, but were fortunate enough to have contacted Rescue Rooter LA North to help fix our problem. Hector and Vince were prompt, professional and very courteous professionals that made our bad situation less so. Hector was even kind enough to put back our Halloween decorations after a small portion of our bush had to be removed.     Ive seen some lousy reviews. Thats not my experience with these guys. I needed them in a crisis and they were completely fair and responsive. Here is my story. The drains at my house were backed up during one of LAs rain storms. I called and they came out. The first guy (ray) came before the big storm. He found some roots but said they dont guarantee the work. When the real rain started to pour and the drains were backing up again I called and the second time they sent Alex. He snaked the line from the street and it seemed to do the trick. whatever was blocked in the the drain cleared right up ... they came quickly when i needed them and they didnt try to upsell or recharge me for work they already had done. I was very impressed and appreciated Alexs attention to getting it done right and fixing my problem.

    My mothers house was built in 1954. A house that old poses special plumbing challenges. My plumber, Moses, was able to troubleshoot and fix a variety of drain, fixture, and gas line problems. The company was even able to send a drywall repairman to replace water-damaged drywall. When I needed a second opinion, his manager, Randy, showed up in a timely manner, even on a Saturday. Moses also helped me locate a broken sprinkler head on the property in a difficult location, and coached me on how to repair it myself. I have been calling Rescue Rooter for years, and highly recommend them for your plumbing and drain needs!

    For some reason this review is being posted under my sons name but Im his mom Laura Patterson. Heres the story. Thursday night no hot water. Ok, Ill call the plumber in the morning. My plumber is on vacation. Mind you no hot water. No dishes washed, no Laundry on, no showers. For a busy family of 5 this is not good. I quickly google plumbers in town. I find someone who can come between 12-2. Ok... things somehow get screwed up and no one shows up until 7 that night only to tell me that they can do nothing because the water heater man they use couldnt make it out for a repair until the following tuesday and it would cost a lot of money. So back to the computer to find Rescue Rooter. In steps Cole, the next morning. Two days without a shower and boy do I wish I had contacted him first. He knew exactly what to do, informed us what we needed to do, fixed the problem in a short amount of time, used a coupon to save us money and on top of it all he was so nice. He is one of those representatives that you keep his card and use it to follow up with him. This gentleman knows his stuff. Hard to find young people like this in any business these days who cares about what he does and who he is assisting. I recommend that anyone looking for a good plumber call Rescue Rooter.     So who sends out a live human being to tell you that your service technician is running late? Rescue Rooter of North Los Angeles, thats who. Vince arrived to tell me that Ernesto was running a little late and proceeded to check out my problem so that Ernesto wouldnt have to ask the same questions when he arrived. Who does that??!!! When Ernesto did arrive, he was clean, competent and did exactly what was needed. He even apologized when we needed to snake out another line, because he would have to charge another fee.     Three years ago, we paid $5000 to unstop an overflowing toilet because there was a root ball in a clay pipe 7 feet below my lawn. I paid an additional $5000 to make sure it could not happen again by having a plastic liner inserted all the way to the sewer. I feared I overpaid, but when it recurred this month, in the same spot, Rescue Rooter dug a new clean out, and then came back and redug the original hole so they could fix the liner breach. There was no additional charge because the original work was covered for 10 years.
