Excellent service as always! Michael is a rock star. I’m selling my home and the buyers asked another HVAC company (SemperFi) to fail my unit and quote 18k for new. They wanted me to pay the buyer 18k for new on a working HVAC! The fake report scared me into thinking something was actually wrong so I had Grand Canyon come out right away for our annual service check. Breathing a lot easier knowing my HVAC is fine, and no, we did not negotiate with either Semper Fi or that buyer/scammer. Thanks Michael!

Our gas fireplace was making a lot of black soot due to the fake logs being moved, so we scheduled a fireplace cleaning. Our service technician, Todd, was very polite had boot coverings, and asked if wed prefer he wear a mask. He took extra precaution to make sure and cover the surrounding area so that soot didnt make a mess when he took the cover off, as the glass was completely covered in soot. He worked diligently while I went back to my office to work, and let me know everything he did when he was done. I was very pleased with their on-time service and our fireplace looks new again. Its hard to believe its the same fireplace. I would definitely recommend them for fireplace cleaning services.

Grand Canyon AC was recommended to me by a friend in the evening. I texted a technician and told what was wrong and he replied in a timely manner and said he would get with the front office in the morning. The front office actually called me that night and got an appointment tonight for the next day, when the technician, Mike, came, he was very courteous and friendly. He found the problem and fixed my air conditioning unit within an hour. I had an all-around very positive experience with this company. I would recommend them to anybody!

Scheduling was very easy and the serviceman was on-site as scheduled for my winter service. The repairman, Matt, was professional and thorough. He changed my filter, climbed in the crawl space/ attic serviced the equipment, took pictures of the condition and showed them to me. He attached them to my file and wrote notes to review at the next seasonal service. He took care of the air handler equipment outside. Before he left, he explained everything clearly to me. Our AC unit was low on refrigerant and Shane came out to service our unit. He did a phenomenal job and went above and beyond. He arrived on time. He is kind and professional. He went over everything before he started he also gave us some recommendations for our AC units. Great to have great technician out there who is very knowledgeable about what they do. The office ladies are also very kind when setting up the appointment. Hubby and I are very happy. We will definitely use them again for any future repairs or services.

We hired Grand Canyon as a second opinion after they lost our coin toss with another company that had similar reviews. The stark contrast in customer service, pricing, and honesty of the work was astonishing! Our first AC fix went okay but when we got a quote for the second one, things got shady real fast. I decided to call Grand Canyon as a second opinion and they told me that, had we allowed the previous company to fix things the way they wanted, it wouldve been a code violation and kept us from selling our house someday. Not only that, it probably wouldnt have fixed our problem. Grand Canyon immediately offered us a lower quote, got the parts in when they said they would, and even called me day of to let me know the tech would be there closer to the end of the window so I had a better idea. Rachel was super helpful every time I talked with her! Todd and Matt did an AMAZING job with our air box, and for the first time since moving into our home, our AC is blowing correctly. Im SO thankful I called them out for a second opinion. I just wish Id called them initially too! You can absolutely trust them to be honest and fair about whatever project you need done. People who have home warranties expect that this company or any company for that matter is required to fix their AC like its a Lowes or HD product. Thats not how it works at all?!!! If you think a home warranty was a worthy cause youve been duped the moment you thought that!!! A majority of AC units are typically covered by a 10-year PARTS warranty, depending on the manufacturer. (Common ones are Trane, Lennox, Daikin, Goodman, mostly the big brands) However, LABOR warranty is only limited to a 1 year warranty (required by code for new installs) UNLESS the manufacturer that makes the unit specifically states you receive BOTH but that is rare and most of them charge extra for both parts and labor upon the request of the owner but typically their new unit is covered for parts that go bad. Ive worked in the industry for 10 yrs and know very well the inner workings of how warranties work. Home warranty is different. MOST of them are scams, but some are good, i.e.. a lady whos compressor went out, her home warranty company covered the cost of labor and the manufacturer covered the cost of the part so my company (SunTech) was paid by her home warranty to install the new compressor but that was a rare GOOD home warranty company. Folks, DO YOU HOMEWORK! Not all home warranties are created equal, especially since they are not on your side. (Theyre like insurance companies that try to worm their way out of EVERY claim and will do the bare minimum to get out of spending money)The best avenues to take is to purchase an extra labor warranty from the manufacturer of your new unit that covers everything both parts and labor, although quite expensive, it gives you that peace of mind that it doesnt come out of your pocket! The other thing you can do is maintain your unit with a maintenance plan with the company (or any) that installed the unit. This preventative maintenance is CRUCIAL to the overall health and longevity of the unit and not doing so will cost you undue stress in the worse moments like not being able to get your unit fix in 100+ degree weather. The cliche, an ounce of medicine is worth a pound of cure, rings true in this situation.PRO TIP ADVICE: It be in your best interest to learn about how an AC unit works so that companies that do offer maintenance plans dont fleece you with unnecessary repairs (basically scamming you) where they pressure their techs to making a certain quota that theyre pretty much coerced to lie about those repairs. You dont have to be an expert on it but theres so many simple YouTube videos out there that explain in laymans term how each part, each system works to help prevent yourself from getting screwed over. Do yourself THAT favor and dont be like the folks thay blame everything on the industry because they dont get what they want. Take matters into your own hands!!! And finally, ALWAYS register your product (or ANY product that you buy for that matter) the day you purchased it or got it installed with the manufacturer because if you dont, theyll limit it down from a 10 yr to 5 yr coverage.This is especially important when you buy a home from a seller that has a new or used AC unit to register it within 30 days of owning it.

Called Grand Canyon after someone gave me their number because I needed my fireplace looked at. Since it is a gas fireplace, I didnt want to attempt anything on my own. GC was able to schedule within 2 weeks and got me fixed right up. Mike was a great technician.

Initially I contacted Grand Canyon to come out for repair work on my Air Conditioning Unit. I have a contract with them for regular maintenance. Even though the maintenance was performed recently they sent a repairman as soon as I called. He put a booster on the compressor to get it to start. That didn’t last very long. I had to call them back a couple days later. The unit was completely gone. Nothing could be done. It was over 110 degrees in Arizona. In fact it was record breaking heat. The interior temperature in our home was 97. Grand Canyon provided a portable unit so we could be in one room comfortably while we worked on securing financing. Nick was a phenomenal resource when it came to walking us through that process. He was reliable, trustworthy and always available when we had questions. Nick did the home evaluation before the new Air Conditioning unit was installed. The new coils were damaged in shipment. When Nick was notified he immediately ordered replacements. Grand Canyon has always been a reputable, reliable and professional business. We hope to continue our affiliation with them for many years. I learned through this situation they can be counted on in the worst of circumstances. It is nice to work with a man of Nick’s caliber. He runs his business with character.

I had another company out TWICE on Monday and paid them over $600 to not repair my AC. Called Grand Canyon after hours last night when I got home because it was 84* in my house. The lady that answered the call was super nice. She said that she could have a tech out this morning at 7:00. Matt showed up and he was amazing. He immediately checked my unit and said that I was low on refrigerant. He added 4 1/2 lbs of refrigerant and my house has been at a steady 77* all day, not the 84-87* that I’ve been dealing with for the past two days. HIGHLY recommend this company.

Todd helped us with our gas fireplace! It had been a long time since it had been cleaned. We just bought our house in November of 2021 and had only used it once to see if it worked. Called on a Sunday and they arrived within 2 hours to replace a bad fan motor on my a/c. Mike had the part on his truck and had the fan and capacitor swapped out within an hour. Lennox warrantied my 3 year old motor for a whopping $75 which didnt make much of a difference in the $1100+ bill, but that is on Lennoxs hands. Very happy with the service and professionalism of GCHS! Wouldnt give a nickel for another Lennox system!

I went to Grand Canyon outside of home warranty and they took video and fought hard agains my home warranty to have the correct repairs covered..They were successful and have maintained my AC ever since. Woke up yesterday morning to no A/C and it was humid and hot! Tried to contact our home warranty company, and finally after 3 hours they called me back. The assigned a service ticket and the contractor was pushing the repair visit out 6 days! No way! Its summer in Phoenix, are you kidding!? So my husband called Grand Canyon, they agreed to quickly dispatch someone. Unfortunately he was on a plane from LA to PHX and I was at work over an hour away. The tech didnt need access to the house for the likely repair, however, he did need my credit card info. And guess what I had done just that morning when I left in a flurry due to the A/C issues...left my purse and wallet at home on the counter. Between scheduling issues, travelling conflicts and lack of payment method - Grand Canyon was great! Kathy @ office was fantastic and understanding during my rant and the tech, Todd was fantastic as well because I oddly had to have him go into the house, find my purse and get my credit card from my wallet for payment. Talk about crazy day! Came home last night to the house cooled from 85 to 78 (in only 2 hours) and by later last night finally to a very comfortable temperature. Very quick service and polite! Would definitely recommend Grand Canyon.

Part of the Family!I have to say I am so pleased with Grand Canyon Air Conditioning, Heating & Solar. I sent an email very early in the morning (like 6am) to see if we could get someone out to fix our A/C unit that broke the night before. We used them for a big fix last year despite being out of their service area. Since we used them previously, I thought it would only be fair to reach out to them again for the first opportunity to service our unit. I got a reply email within an hour (or less) and then a follow-up call when he made it into the office. They sent someone out within a few hours. The gentleman that serviced our unit (Eric, I believe) was friendly and great about explaining what he discovered the problem to be. He fixed the unit and as he left I said, Thank you so much for coming out to see us despite being outside of your service area. His response really said so much more- Hey youre part of the family now!. Grand Canyon Air & Conditioning has been a great company to work with since day one! Thank you for your excellent customer service!!!

Todd P was very professional and thorough. He answered my questions and let me know what was going on in my attic and my A/C units without trying to upsell me other services. He was honest about what problems were coming up with my units without making me feel like I had to spend a lot of money right this minute. The fact that Grand Canyon Home Services doesnt send out technicians that work on commission makes the experience less stressful because you dont feel like youre getting hustled to spend a lot of money on unnecessary parts and repairs. I will always come back to Grand Canyon Home Services for my A/C needs.

This was the second time in 3 yrs that we had Grand Canyon HVAC out to the house. The first time was because I blew a fuse on the air handler in the attic without knowing it, trying to replace the thermostat. The serviceman from Grand Canyon at that time, could have told me I needed a new circuit board, but coming down from the attic reported only a fuse blown. I was VERY impressed at this gentlemans (companies) integrity.Now we are selling our house and the inspector said rattling was coming from the air handler. Weve never heard any noise like that, but we called Grand Canyon to check it out. Todd was the serviceman. He was very clean, professional and did a thorough inspection of the air handler and found it to be sound and in good working order. Again, who knows what he could have found and charged us for, but again, another serviceman with the utmost integrity who only reported what he found after a complete and honest inspection.These 2 personal incidents have made us FOREVER customers of Grand Canyon Home Services. This review is regarding an on-site consulting appointment with Juan.Juan performed a thorough inspection of my existing AC unit inside and out. He then discuss all of his finding: what they are, why they are of concern and how Grand Canyon would address them. He then discussed the AC units offered and the differences between them.The visit took a little over two hours. I appreciate the time and effort to gather information about my current AC, my future plans for the house: how long I plan to live at this residence and to answer my questions. I was provided two estimates via email later in the day. At no time did I feel pressured to buy or steered to a particular unit.Prior to this visit, I had two other AC companies provide me estimates also. One performed an inspection but didnt go into much detail regarding his findings. The other only looked at the unit outside, gave me the sales pitch and I felt like he had someplace better to be.

Great Service from Nick and Todd I will only use Grand Canyon AC.When we called and talked to Nick on sat June 18th he had one customer to finish with said about 45 minutes to an hour he was on time and I was glad to see him it was 105 inside our home. Would recommend this company to everyone. Thanks Grand Canyon

Awesome service. Called this morning at 9am for service on my AC, was told a tech would be out between 10 and 1 today. I got a call from the tech within the hour, all work was done by 11am. There was no pressure or attempt to upgrade this or fix that. Everything is running great now and was less than half the cost of what I had feared. If you need any HVAC work done, call Grand Canyon!

Our AC went out Sunday and we were able to get an appointment same day. The technician was on time. He diagnosed the blower fan was dead. They charged $740 to replace the blower motor. This is very high but we were in a tight spot and needed it fixed. The tech replaced the blower motor. The system was blowing VERY little are after he replaced the motor and said it was fixed. After calling the tech back in because the system was not blowing he instead that everything was fine and it was just quieter then the old motor. We had to call them back out the next morning and miss work because the AC was still not working. The same tech came back out but because the system was iced up, due to the blower not working he couldnt work on our system. He left and came back a few hours later. Opon return he agreed that the system was not moving air with the new motor and that he needed to go get a factory replacement motor for our unit. Hours later her returned and installed the factory replacement motor. The system was still not moving air. He then figured out that he had wired up the motors incorrectly. The system was finally working. No offers of a discount or anything. Now just 3 days later the blower is again not working. This is very disappointing.Update: After talking to Nick, he made it clear that they wanted to do what they could to make it right. They came back out and discovered another part had gone bad. Nick offered to replace the part at their cost. He also seems truly concerned with making me a satisfied customer. I am updating my review to 5 stars because of the dedication to customer service I have seen today. I will also call them the next time I have heating or cooling service needs.
