    We have use the Zimmerman Electric Company in Surprise for all our electricity needs. The owner Mark is very responsive calling back to set up an appointment. Our latest electrician Shawn was on time and took a lot of time figuring out our problem and explaining everything to us. He was here for one hour to check on why my microwave and double gas oven had quit working. It turns out the largest oven had died and blew the breaker. He made sure the smaller top oven and the microwave were in working order and the plug in and breakers related to the appliance. We are buying a new oven and I had some questions before we picked a new one. I left a message and Mark called me back in a couple of hours and answered my questions and gave me advice so making the decision on what oven to buy was clear . They sent me a very reasonable bill the next day and I paid online. Great service once again. We will continue to use Zimmerman Electric for all our electric problems.

    We needed a ceiling fan installed, and then some work on patio outlets that werent working. On both visits the electrician was very helpful and informative. The work was done quickly, and I was impressed with how the electrician ran through his diagnostics to figure what was wrong with the patio outlets (poor quality installation of outlets embedded in a knee wall). It was a complicated fix, but it works now. I will definitely call Zimmerman Electric when I need electrical work done.

    Ive used Zimmerman Electric in the past with good results. I decided to go with them again this time because of the three contractors I called, only 2 responded with a return call and one was a no-show for an on-site estimate. Zimmerman Electric provided me with a very reasonable quote via email based on a verbal explanation of what I needed performed. The electrician showed up on-time for the scheduled appointment and I was more than pleased with the final results of having a new 20amp circuit added to my garage along with additional outlets. During the install, the electrician identified a double tapped breaker that was likely the cause of it being tripped when under excessive load. He informed me and then moved one of the lines to an unused breaker. Very, very pleased with the overall performance and quality of work.

    Zimmerman is always great. We had a last minute issue and they were able to accomodate both times. Art was so helpful and informative, he explained the issue and even offered to hop on the phone with Edison to get it resolved. Highly recommend!

    These guys are legends. They came out to restore a bathroom fan and gave the best advice for any future situations. It’s the first time I didn’t feel like I got ripped off by payment. Couldn’t recommend enough as they were quick, added a ton of value and didn’t charge crazy rates for a simple job.

    My husband and I bought a new house in Arizona and needed to find a company to install a chandelier in the foyer, as well as a lighting fixture over the dining table.Zimmerman Electric sent over Chris and Bryon and these two men did an amazing job! The chandelier was large and had lots of glass panels (see images) and they took their time meticulously attaching each glass panel. They even added a dimmer switch on both fixtures.We have since used them again and plan to only use Zimmerman Electric in the future.

    I have had two services done. One was adding a subpanel and powering my shed for a mini split as well as power for my tools and fridge. I added a screened in porch that they installed power to. In both cases, they were on time, offered me choices that would fit my needs. They explained what they were doing, and how long it would take. The final bill was pretty much dead on the estimate. Actually a tad less than the estimate. I will call on them again.

    Went through their website about my issue with my waterfall tripping a breaker.. I was contacted via email within an hour or less. Several problem solving emails followed to be sure a trip to my house was needed. Once it was determined I had an issue outside something I could fix an appointment was made immediately for the following day. The gentlemen arrived on time, were couteous and worked through a checklist. Then they gave me options with the least expensive first. I went the inexpensive route first to see if it would remedy the issue. Several days later and their repair is still working great! I highly recommend!!!!

    Our realtor recommended Zimmerman Electric to us.Mark Zimmerman installed wiring from a wall outlet to our patio roof to power a retractable awning motor. Mark submitted the drawing and quote I used for City of Surprise and The Grand HOA approval. He showed up on time and returned the drawing and quote quickly. The work was done quickly. There was minimal damage to the wall which can be quickly patched and painted. I considered the cost appropriate for the quality of the work performed but a little on the high end.Mark also took the time to explain how all the electric in the house works, e.g., breaker box, GFCI locations, and modifications made by the prior owner. He also suggested improvements that many other residents make, e.g., patio ceiling fans and additional outdoor outlets.I would recommend Zimmerman Electric to my neighbors.

We had the opportunity to utilize Zimmerman Electric’s services again. This time because of a low voltage light power outage. It required diagnostics and master switch replacement. We contacted Zimmerman Electric to remove and replace a dining room light fixture. Time and date were confirmed and a technician arrived on time. He was very pleasant, helpful and professional. He took the time to answer questions and check into about another issue we had in the kitchen with can light bulbs burning out.We have used Zimmerman Electric for fan, light fixture, and outlet installation since we built our home in 2017.     My parents used Zimmerman Electric first for the pool area and were very happy with services rendered.I used them in the garage to relocate and install outlets that would support some heavy-duty output. I used a different electrician several months back and was hesitant to use an electrician again as the price was outrageous for minimal work accomplished and I assumed another electrician would be the same.Since my parents had used Zimmerman already and I saw the quality of work and the invoice, I gave them a shot and am very glad I did. I no longer have to worry about which plug I can use for what and have plenty of dedicated outlets for what I need.The owner himself came out to assess what was needed initially. Then Brian and Chris came as a team to complete the job. They did a great job and I appreciated that they cleaned up after themselves as there were wire and other parts that were used for the job.Will definitely use them again for any electrical need and Ive recommended them to several people already.

    We got off to a rocky start but it all worked out beautifully. I called, they said someone would be out the next morning, a Friday. Chris came only to announce upon arrival that he couldnt do the work for us! He was full of useful information about the job (removing a dining area chandelier, installing a new pendant lamp about 12 away from the original chandelier spot, and removing a ceiling fan in our living room) and explained that he and his wife had a weekend away planned and he simply couldnt put in a full day. He said hed gather the info so his boss could give us an estimate, theyd email it to us, and as soon as we approved it theyd do the work.Sure enough, we got the estimate over the weekend, a little higher than wed hoped but we approved it, and at 9 a.m. Monday Chris was at our door and did a terrific job. I didnt even think to ask him if he had a nice weekend, but he told me that they have seven children, so I sure hope that it just a parent getaway weekend with maybe grandma and grandpa sitting in for them with the kids. This actually made us feel way better about what had happened on Friday, that he felt free (and safe) to claim some time away with his wife (who likely needed it more than Dad did), said something very nice to us about his boss. We definitely will call them again when we need the help of an electrician.For all we know, they do this regularly when a job is likely to be more costly then the client might guess, that is, get the price approved by the client in writing before they do the work. Whatever, we were happy with the man and the job he did and a three-day delay didnt hurt us a bit. Good company. Call them.

    Mark and his crew and some of the nicest people I have met. Especially considering they are electricians.I had talked to a couple of other electricians before to get quotes and felt like mark was the best considering price and reviews online.They came over and installed a ceiling fan and fixed one of my loose outlets at a reasonable price. Before calling Zimmerman I called 7 other companies. As I write this none of my messages have been returned. I came across Zimmerman and the immediate response and follow up was stellar.     Had a chime problem with my smart video doorbell. Was able to schedule an appointment within 2 days. They were prompt and efficient. Ended up needing to replace the doorbell, and they even came back by after I replaced that to make sure I didnt have any problems and everything was working. 2nd time weve used them - last time to add lights and plugs in our garage.     Excellent workmanship and very reasonable price. Very easy folks to work with. Zimmerman Electric installed AC power for our hot tub, burying the cable down the side of my house. Zimmerman dealt with getting permits for the project, which took some time, but once that was complete they were expedient at getting the project completed.

    After purchasing my home in Tempe back in June, we found that many items needed attention in terms of lighting, circuits not energized, faulty receptacles and more. Ive had Zimmerman do all my electrical at both my homes. The Tempe home required everything from a new pool pump & filter to all new LED Lighting throughout the house. Zimmerman also installed a few new Fans in specific rooms. We also had built a Craft Shop which required all new service to this building. Mark & the guys after re-wiring our home, completely wired the new Shop, ran circuits for receptacles, lighting and HVAC. He also went in to the main Load-center and cleaned everything up, installed new, up to date breakers and what a huge difference, electrically and safety wise. All in all, Zimmerman has been out probably 5 or 6 times and has brought my home up to NEC and Standards. The best part of the entire ordeal including all visits, I didnt have to spend a small fortune. You bet, Im a repeat customer and recommend these guys for any of your electrical work.

The only reason this isnt a 5 star review is that some of the communication for our appointment was a bit off. We were told he would be here sometime between 2 and 4 PM.     We have used Zimmerman Electric several times over the years and have always had excellent results from them. Today, on a Saturday, we heard a strange noise that sounded like electrical arcing coming from either the top of a wall in our bathroom or the attic. My wife called Zimmerman Electric and Sean came out within the time quoted time frame.Unfortunately, by the time Sean got here, the strange noise had stopped. We described the issue as best we could to Sean and he checked both the exhaust fan in the bathroom and the attic above it. I could tell he was very thorough since the poor guy was covered in insulation and sweat when he came back down.     We lost power to our jacuzzi due to water damage to the GFI receptacle in the wake of a rainstorm. This occurred on the Fourth of July, which was a Sunday making the following day a holiday. Concerned I couldn’t get an electrician over to make the repair before my spa turned green from lack of circulation, I called Zimmerman Electric as they are highly rated. I made the call on July 4th and left a message outlining my problem and why a repair needed to be completed quickly. Zimmerman called me first thing on July 5 (a holiday taken by most), and they had an electrician at my home on July 6th. Sean from Zimmerman made the repair quickly and answered all our questions. A day later, I received the bill via email and was amazed how reasonable it was.Zimmerman made our situation a priority, responded quickly and made the repair. Sean was professional and informational and the repair cost was surprisingly reasonable.Don’t waste your time calling anyone else! Zimmerman Electric is the only way to go. I won’t call anyone else from now on.

    After a bumpy start with Mark in getting a call back to set an installation date, Shawn did an excellent job of installing 5 ceiling fans, 2 ceiling fixtures and 4 bathroom fixtures.     Given the number of attempted break-ins in our community over the last week, we decided to have security floodlights installed on our patio and garage.
