I had an emergency at my home with a couple of drains backed up. I didnt know what to expect about how the issues would be addressed. Roto Rooter sent a plumber on the same day that I called, and he addressed both drains quickly. I worried that the second drain might be a big ordeal, but the plumber was able to snake it without changing the price hed already quoted for the first drain. One of the drains was a floor drain, and it finally has a proper cover on it, as it has needed for a while. Im very happy with my service.

Well, I had about as good of an experience as a person with sewage in his basement can have! Brian, my technician, was polite, punctual, articulate and informed! He answered all of my questions and understood my reservations about how we needed to proceed. In the end, it was taken care of professionally and efficiently. I was educated as to what caused the problem (That camera that can go out the sewer line was pretty cool!) and given some reasonable recommendations on follow up service.I called Roto-Rooter because of their good reputation and I was not disappointed!LeeStow, Ohio

I had been having issues with slow draining pipes and I had another company out and I wasnt really happy with their customer service. But they told me it was the main drain that was clogged. Because I am financially tight right now I thought I would rent a snake and do it myself. After a few hours of frustration I thought I was OK but the drains were still clogged. So I called Roto-Rooter in Akron and they set me up with a free service call to diagnose the issue that same afternoon. AJ arrived earlier than the original time they had scheduled with me in the morning and with a smile on his face. I have to big dogs and I warned him that they were hyper and just wanted attention, and he treated them nicer than any service person who has been in my home. I explained to him all the troubles I have been having and the things I tried on my own and what I thought it may be based on the small amount of research I did and he was polite and said that with the different issues going on it was hard to pin-point anything specific. He recommended a camera scope of the pipes to find the issue and completely explained all of the cost break down and the process he would do. When he scoped the pipes he found the trouble to be the main sewer line. He quoted me accurately and throughout the whole service he explained everything step by step and gave me good advice for maintaining my house plumbing going forward in the future. Im grateful for this because I am usually a DIYer and I know I can seem like I think I know everything but he was super polite with me and allowed me to see the screen where the clog was and everything! I feel like his service was outstanding and the costs were very upfront and fair. He completely explained the warranties to me as well and gave me his card with his number if I have any issues. Oh, and he cleaned up after himself (not that he even made a mess to begin with) but in general he was very neat, organized, clean and efficient. I not only plan on using Rotor-rooter (specifically AJ) from now on but will suggest to everyone I talk to to do the same as well! Thank you!

My wife and I have learned in the last three years that if you just have standard plumbing work to be scheduled and done, there are plenty of good guys locally who will likely do a good job and probably cheaper than Roto Rooter. But when the going gets tough and you have an after hours or weekend emergency, Roto Rooter are your guys. Two incidents at our home in the last three years, both times they were the only ones available that night. Even better, arrived in 30 minutes both times. Had to have one of our home’s main drains cleared tonight (Friday at 7pm) - couldn’t do it myself, sadly I tried but failed. Adam arrived in 30 minutes, was more friendly and professional than I could ever have expected. Less than an hour later, had us clear and flowing. Accepted the coupon on their website and, ultimately, ended up the same price as quoted by the “local guy” who said he couldn’t get here until some time on Saturday. I want to thank Rob from the stow office for replacing our water heater. After a long week of getting the run around from another plumbing service and HSA they came out an hour after I called them and were done in less than 2 hours. Thanks for the speedy turn around. It is very nice to take a hot shower in my own house for the first time in almost a week.

I woke up saturday morning and found my basement drain backed up and sewage on floor. I called Roto Rooter for help and had someone there in an hour. Randy Metz my service person was very calming and with in a hour the drain was clean. i saw the inside of the pipe from house to septic tank on a camera. Very impressive. A+ Will Definitely use again.

Called on a Saturday night for a backed up main sewer drain, Randy showed up within the hour. I can not say enough great things about Roto Rooter but most importantly about Randy. Ended up being a two day job and had me as a priority the very next day. Was here on Sunday at 8am to finish the job. Told me all honest ways of fixing the issue and the best way to go about it. Randy is an asset to roto and they now have a forever client from me!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

A+ service on multiple calls.Ive had roto rooter from the miami st in akron location come to my house in stow twice now. Once for pipe snaking and now once to replace an old drum trap. AJ just came out today to replace my old drum trap and galvanized steel pipes in one of my bathrooms. He was super awesome, explained everything and cleaned up after himself (and myself from my own patch work). Great attitude and got the work done fast and even worked with my home warranty to make sure I was covered. He is one of the reasons while I will keep using this company.

We tried many things to get the smell out and the black liquid that was in it finally we called roto rooter to come fix the situation. It took about 45 minutes. Now the smell and what was forming in the shower is now gone. I would definitely recommend this service.

Its always difficult finding service providers you can trust to provide a quality service at a reasonable price, and were very happy to call upon Roto-Rooter -- especially the particular service professional (whose name escapes me at the moment) -- whos been out each time. Theyve earned our trust for plumbing needs. We had a brand-new hot water tank installed and the price and service provided easily surpassed what any of the big box stores could provide.

Roto Rooter, and in particular A.J. Karder, saved my day. I had another company (Charlies Drain Service) out yesterday and the expandable cap they had me purchase, since they broke mine, fell into the drain that they had just snaked to clear a clog. As I understand it now, they never should have left without replacing the cap for safety reasons. Charlies Drain Service had me go to the store to buy the one they recommended - never said it was urgent- and the darned cap they had me buy was too small - thats why it fell in. Then they returned the next day after telling me it was my fault; they were really rude. They couldnt get it out. They even dropped a knife in the drain. They then informed me to get someone to come into to open up the concrete floor and get it out of the pipes. A.J. put the camera in and couldnt see the cap. So he had me flush toilets, which they too should have done. And voila, he was able to get the cap. A.J. was very understanding of my situation and was very kind. I felt confident in his work and will definitely use Roto Rooter again.
