Darren Huddleston & assistant Connor came a little early, took the time to do things right, and left their job site nice & clean. I had a multitude of electrical issues to resolve. They were trouble-shooting effectively. Darren was very helpful in sharing his expertise & recommendations, which enabled me to make the best decisions for me. They were also both very personable, so I felt like I had had friends come by for a visit, rather than it just being an electrical service call.

Recently a tree fell on our property which ripped out the main electrical line. Due to the age of the unit, the repairs included bringing up to code. This meant it took more than the first afternoon to complete, but the team made sure we had temporary power. Many thanks to the crew especially Darren and Connor… superb work y’all !

Field Electric in Stillwater has done some different kinds of electrical work for us, ranging from repairs to changing out difficult fluorescents to adding new lights to the ceiling in our family room. Darren Huddleston did most of the work. He is competent, careful, reliable, and considerate; and his work is exemplary. I recommend him and his company without reservation for any electrical work you need to have done. Kudos to Darren and to Field Electric for doing such wonderful work! By the way, the bathroom heater that they repaired and Darren installed works better than it ever did. No more freezing after getting out of the shower!

Can’t recommend Field Electric highly enough. 10/10 stars, Darren and his apprentice were super responsive and professional! We could never duplicate the issue I was having, but he fixed a couple things we thought it might be and things have worked great since! He also explained everything he was doing, and even showed me what I did wrong on some of my amateur electrician work. If I ever have another electrical issue Darren, and Field will be my first call!

Very happy with Field Electric. In Stillwater it seems there arent many electricians that work during the weekends, but Fields returned my call the same day and got someone out here fast! Their after hours upcharge was completely reasonable in my opinion and was just a few dollars increase to the normal hourly rate. (The only other company I could have even gotten out here on the weekend was based out of Edmond and wanted $300 up front just for coming out plus whatever labor and parts would have ran). I feel a lot of other companies exploit your desperation on a weekend, but not Fields. Corey was a really nice guy. He was friendly and he patiently explained everything he was doing and the why behind it. At the same time, Corey was very to the point, efficient and fast! It took quite a bit of trouble shooting to figure out the underlying issue between the city and Fields (my issues started after my new meter reader was installed by the city so I honestly felt it was on City of Stillwaters end because of the timing) but the situation was made a bit complicated because the city had already shut my power off to prevent a fire when I had them check their meter reader, so I can certainly appreciate that it is likely very difficult to diagnose something when you cannot test it. Corey replaced the obvious problem (a melted service wire) in under 1 hr! Unfortunately when the city cut the power back on we realized there was a bit more than just the obvious going on with our setup. In the end, I just decided to go ahead and replace my entire setup out back (it was very old and probably the original from when the house was built in the 70s). They were completely willing to repair my old system and to trouble shoot to save me money. They did not pressure me in any way to update nor did they try to upsell me. They genuinely were trying to find me the lowest cost option, which is really awesome. I just decided on my own and for my own peace of mind to upgrade my setup. They were able to get it all done the same day as the decision was made. I am now sitting in my warm home, washing my dishes and doing laundry while I remote work. Everything is working great! The lights are no longer flickering and I could swear the lights are actually even brighter than they were before!Another thing I really want to mention is that Jason, Coreys boss, was just awesome to work with! He was extremely friendly, patient and professional. He seemed to really care about my situation and he even came out to see things for himself when we realized the problem might run deeper than we initially thought. He was very communicative through text and again, I cant emphasize enough how much he really seemed to care about our problem. Jason also seems to have a good rapport with the city. He was able to get the City of Stillwater service truck out here fast to hook me back up once the work was done.It may have taken a couple days to get a resolution, but I do not at all feel that is on Fields. The issue was complicated by the city shutting off my power (which, to be clear, I do not hold any ill will towards the city for this. I know they were doing their job and they just did not want to see me and my family on the evening news). Anyway, I am giving them 5 stars because I think that despite the complications, they did a fantastic job and remained professional for the entirety of my experience.I will definitely be calling them again should the need arise. I highly recommend!

It is always a pleasure to get any electrical work done with Field. We have used them four times so far and every worker has always been helpful & friendly, going out of their way to make it a good experience and put in excellent work. We have two little ones so we needed help to update several outlets in our home recently and Darren & Conner came out to do it for us. I was told it might take a few hours to do as many outlets as we needed on the phone but they were done within an hour. They worked well together & were so timely, efficient, and helpful that I am even going to go so far as to request them next time I need to get on the schedule. I would definitely recommend Field Electric!

Thank Field electric. Getting a quick, next day appt was simple, Darren Huddleston LISTENED to me. He asked questions related to my explanation and followed the clues. It wasnt the restart at the recepticle, it wasnt in the electrical panel, ...he followed clues all the way back to the original line on the roof and found only half of the electric was coming in the house. Fixed in just a few minutes and didnt cost an arm and a leg! Friendly, professional, patient and kind. Thanks again Darren.
