    We contacted Absolute Electric to install a dedicated high amperage circuit in our multi-story home. The distance from the breaker box to the required outlet is just about as far as possible, and the path is complicated.     This company has been great to work with. From the online booking and follow up to the day of service.We haven’t had them complete the work yet, but I’ve been really happy with them so far.     Ronnie Jay finished his extensive re-wiring of my entire home. He is perfection personified.See pictures.Ronnie Jay and his team were back in my home for a day of installing new switches and outlets. I had over 250 of them to replace, so it was a full day of work, but they did it expeditiously and accurately. Ronnie and his team were respectful and courteous. I felt comfortable giving them free run over my entire home. Please see the attached phot of some of their perfect work.Ronnie Jay should be cloned as he is professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly knows what he is doing. If you are dealing with electrical issues, those are very good traits to encounter. He also has a demeanor and disposition that puts you at ease and you find yourself being completely confident in his words. This is a dramatic contrast to so many service people I have encountered in recent years. This company Absolute Electric cares about their customers and strives to be fair and honest.     Today I discovered that my HVAC wire outside was smoking. I immediately cut the power and called Absolute Electric because theyve done wonderful work for me in the past. It was after hours, but they came to my rescue anyway. Harrison did an incredible job figuring out the wire was torn up by my idiot dogs and provided me with a list of options for how to go about remedying the situation. I opted for the best choice which was encasing a new wire in PVC pipe and securing it a couple feet up the foundation so the dogs wont risk injury nor my wallet again. This poor guy got here around dinner time and worked away until the job was done, just after midnight. His work looks spectacular and my Heat Pump is back up and running again. This is a company you can depend on in an emergency, and Harrison is a knowledgeable and dependable electrician.

    Ryan from Absolute Electric came to my home to investigate a problem with our breaker box. He arrived earlier than expected, and didn’t take long to trace the problem. He determined it would be best to replace the faulty breaker, which he did quickly. There was no charge for the service since it was all under warranty. As before, Ryan is very prompt, courteous, thorough, honest, and comfortable to communicate with. He explains everything he is doing in terms I can understand, and gives me the chance to agree or disagree on next steps. This company is a joy to do business with!

    Ryan and Anthony from Absolute Electric did an incredible job, but I should have expected that after nearly a decade of similar results in the variety of requests Ive made over the years. Not only did they fix up the lights in my kitchen and living room to chase away the shadows that used to haunt both rooms regularly, but they provided a number of handy tips throughout the process. Finally, they cleaned up my floors afterwards, even going the extra mile to borrow a brush and some cleaner after double-checking my outlets and lights. As usual, Absolute Electric was absolutely worth the price!

    Najae showed up at the early end of the time frame we were quoted. We went over my list and the charges for the work. He gave me excellent advice on the type of fixtures to choose and he replaced a failing light switch. After we purchased the fixtures we needed Katherine and Ray arrived and replaced the fixtures, smoke alarms and two switches all in an efficient and neat manner. All three people were friendly but professional. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs any electrical services.

    We had them come out to look over one or two small issues, and mainly to get a dedicated 240v line for a new electric hot water heater.The two technicians came out and were incredibly easy to work with. They went over what we need to do, whats possible with the remaining space on our board, and how to help do the work affordably.This was the only place that gave us a better and best option, where the best had a couple extra items we mentioned during the visit to bring us up to code in one area. I appreciated seeing the options, though it initially put me off.They worked with my schedule to come out and do the work, and were incredibly quick and clear on what was being done beforehand and afterward. I really appreciated just how nice the people were, and how knowledgeable they were with their work.I think Absolute Electric must be one of the few electricians that pay their techs to take required training. I might be wrong, but I sure know that everything they did was incredible.Well definitely recommend them, and use them in the future.

    Fantastic folks. I had Katherine out most recently, and I cant speak highly enough of her skills or professionalism. She painstakingly diagnosed a troubling GFCI trip issue that required tracing a chain of downstream outlets throughout my home, including a journey through the far reaches of my attic, until she found the issue, which she then quickly resolved. And this service was after hours, when she had already worked a full day. Could not be more satisfied.

    Pyrce McClane and Kevin relocated our coaxial cable connection and ran a conduit inside our wall to facilitate us getting our new large Samsung TV mounted above our living room fireplace. The job took far longer than any of us had expected, but that was due not to any fault by our technicians, but to issues with the supply house furnishing the proper conduit; the delay did not increase the cost of the job. We’re pleased with the quality of the finished work and look forward to calling Absolute for any future work we need.

    Robert and Jacob from Absolute Electric came to our newly purchased home and provided a safety inspection, answers to all my questions, and quotes for several depth levels of work they could do to improve the electrical system. They were friendly and personable, but also clearly very knowledgeable and experienced in their work, and I felt I got a good price for what they provided for me. Recommended!

    Update April 2024: We had a service call from Ryan Kern and his helper (sorry, forgot her name). They performed an electrical inspection and added GFCI outlets to meet current code. Ryan also identified and repaired a short circuit in our breaker-box that was affecting our solar system (he repaired this at no charge because Absolute had installed the breaker-box in 2023). Finally, Ryan installed an OTA TV antenna on top of our house and ran the coaxial cable into the house--and grounded the whole thing according to current safety codes. This was not on the original work-order, but Ryan estimated the job and then completed the work that afternoon.The two technicians were friendly, knowledgeable, and easy-to-talk to. They answered all of our questions. Ryan even correctly diagnosed the problem in our motorized backyard pergola (he suspected a bad motor or controller). Indeed, the pergola installers came out later that week and replaced the controller unit for the motor, and that solved the problem. Overall, we were pleased with the service provided by Ryan and Absolute Electric.April 2023: replaced our electrical panel, installed a car-charger, installed panels sensors, and added 120V outlets in garage

    Yesterday was the second visit for some upgrades for our home. Last week we had 2 ceiling fans replaced, great job. They sent 2 technicians for the installation of an exhaust fan. The techs were careful of my home, they covered the area while they were working. They checked with me a few times about placement. The fan is great. After they were done they cleaned up all the construction mess. They were pleasant and very respectful. Use them and youll see the treatment first hand.

    Great service. Even learned something regarding my electrical outlets. No action was needed this visit only because I didn’t know that my GFCI for my refrigerator was controlled by the outlet that hadn’t tripped.     Ronnie was an absolute professional and his first hunch on the electrical issue in our house was correct. Our electrical panel had two fuses that were tripping when turned on and he fixed those in a couple minutes. He then went a step further and checked the rest of the fuses and tightened them all down. He then explained the annual maintenance I should be doing on the panel and offered his company’s maintenance service plan. To top it all off, his business card is a MAGNET. It’s on our fridge and we know exactly who we will call for service.

    I’m always apprehensive when it comes to hiring someone to do work in my home. Some companies would promise me the moon and not deliver. It would either be poor workmanship or a scam I’d have to deal with. That was not the case this time.     I had a heavy-up (new, higher amp service entrance panel) installed by Absolute Electric in September 2020. Even though their warranty was for one year, on January 11, 2024, almost 3-1/2 years later, I called them about a rainwater leak working its way into my new load center. Much to my surprise, Rob Smith from the Service Department came to my house the very next day on January 12, 2024 to investigate. He checked the indoor breaker panel, area where the cables entered the house and then went outside. He opened the meter panel to check for signs of water leaks. Finding none, the most likely place of water entry, in Rob Smiths professional opinion as well as my own, was at the weather-head where the over-head power lines from the Electric Company tie to the drop cable to the meter. The consensus being that windblown rain during a heavy storm could possibly have entered the cable sheathing and followed the stranded aluminum neutral conductor down and into my breaker panel. Rob re-mounted the weather-head, which had been done before by a siding contractor, to a better position to provide more of a drip edge for water runoff and applied electrical putty around where the neutral entered the sheathing. This was well above and beyond what should be expected of any contractor after 3-1/2 years, and he didnt even charge a fee. I highly recommend using Absolute Electric LLC for any electrical projects you may have.

A problem with one of the outlets they installed developed and we called them to fix it. Turns out the outlet was not at fault. He checked over everything that had been done and corrected several errors he pointed out to me.     So, not every company is 100% as they get busy too. But this company is very responsive.1. Mike was supposed to call me to set up the inspection with FFx county, but when I did not hear from him in a time that Cliff, the technician said he would call, I called and Mike was able to set up the appointment on a day that I was available.2. I did not quite understand how Cliff marked my panel and called Mike to ask. He did not quite answer me completely but again, was very kind to take my call and was patient each time to help me.3.     Ive used this company several times. Two recent projects: first, to install an outside light fixture/lantern that illuminated the outside steps, and the process of which involved drilling thru bricks. The second, more complicated project, was to completely replace the 40-year-old electrical panels in the basement and the connections to the outside meter, some of which were no longer up to code. Harrison came out both times, and was thorough and very knowledgeable. (Kevin and Jason helped out the first day of the large project.) He explained that the power would have to be shut off for several hours to do the second installation, but everything was done well and on schedule. The company took care of getting the county permit and came back to oversee the inspection. It was it all done so efficiently, and I would use this company again.

    Cliff was most professional. He was polite, listened patiently while I described my smoke detector problem and went right to work. He worked quickly and efficiently, determining that two detectors were in fact defective, and then installed replacement detectors at no cost. Cliff was in and out of my house in no time, and was pleasant and efficient in the process. He is the best, Absolute should be so proud to have Cliff on staff!

    If I have any electrical problems I always call Absolute. They found a short in my kitchen that was not apparent. Another electrician came and checked it out but I still had the problem. Absolute (Robert) came and spent the time and had the expertise to find the issue and fix it. I have also used them to replace my old electrical panel, add a transfer switch for a generator and install outdoor lighting. All was explained in detail especially the generator hook up! I wanted to be sure I understood the instructions so Robert wrote out the step by step instructions. I would highly recommend this company!

    Mike from Absolute Electric was a pleasure to work with. He called ahead and provided an estimated time of arrival. Upon arrival he thoroughly explained their process and pricing. As he conducted the home inspection, he explained in detail the good, the bad and the why behind it.     My house is over 200 years old, and naively thought I had a simple problem, a breaker kept tripping. It tripped because the wiring of the renovated bathroom was at war with the wiring in the laundry room. The laundry room was wired with circa 1930-40 cloth wiring AND it was done wrong back then!!! A disaster waiting to happen. Mike and his crew went to work replacing it, and even hung a light fixture for me. I had more outlets installed upstairs, as I only had one outlet per wall for two rooms, one of which is my sewing studio.Mike is a professionals professional, knows his business backwards and forwards, and answered all my crazy questions with grace and patience. He is a good teacher as well, as he worked with his apprentice-in-training, Harrison. Both gentlemen are polite and respectful and take care while on a clients property; they cleaned up after themselves and left things a bit more tidy, which is totally appreciated!My dogs Rubeus and Hermione think Mike is the greatest as well, he brought treats for them! Both pups were at ease with him in the house, and I didnt have to to worry.I have more electrical projects that will need to be done in the near future, and I will definitely call Absolute Electric to do the work.     Mike and Courtney upgraded our lighting from halogen lights to LEDs. We have a large home with over 80 lights to swap out. They have been incredibly professional and worked hard to do the job efficiently. On top of that, we have a newborn baby and they’ve been incredibly accommodating with regard to working around her nap schedule. They also identified expired smoke detectors and replaced them, thereby greatly improving the safety of our home.

It will be our electrical go to company from here on.After spending time researching, reading horror experiences from other companies we decided on Absolute.Mike and his partner are so professional. We were given a 3 hour window the day before which we confirmed. We got a call this morning and they arrived within 20 minutes of the call. They did a wonderful job.We installed 10 dimmers, fix bad workmanship done on the electrical panel by previous electrician from last owner, replaced receiver on a ceiling fan, fixed a light fixture in a bathroom we almost ended up wanting to replace, and installed a GFCI outlet. Mike also found some issues with another electrical panel on wiring and fuses which were pointed to me, explained to me, and we decided to fix them. They also cleaned up and tested everything before they left. The price is very reasonable and the invoice is very detail.I cannot say enough about how good, professional, thorough, detail, and clean they are. They are also very communicative throughout and respectful of our house.

    Absolute Electric (Ryan) did an excellent job in replacing a failed bath exhaust fan. The Absolute team arrived on time and completion took less time than I anticipated. The completed job was neat and left no scars on the bath ceiling. Absolute was able to find a replacement fan with the large footprint of the original, which I was not able to do by searching the local Lowes, Home Depot and Ace outlets.

    I needed to have a 22 year old attic fan replaced. Absolute Electrical technician Ronnie Jay showed up on time for the appointment with an assistant.They first inspected things like my breaker box, GFI‘s and alarms for smoke and carbon monoxide. They showed me what was missing in GFI’s (two bathrooms and the sump pump) and that two built in smoke alarms were well past their 10 year life.The breaker panel was fine but as it approaches year 39 they advised me that most panels need replacing at 30-35 years. I also learned about some code violations in the house which is helpful for the next visit.They installed the GFI’s, replaced my smoke alarms with combo smoke and CO2 alarms that initially talk to you if they detect a problem, and replaced the attic fan which required climbing fairly high outside my home and getting on the roof.All was done with full safety equipment and any mess was fully cleaned after.They did a good job on the work and the overall price was fairly reasonable. I’ve used Absolute in the past, and they have always been good and thorough. I shall continue to use them. .
