I’m finishing a basement in our new home and needed everything that will be covered up and hidden behind drywall to be professionally done for my own peace of mind. When Joe and Caleb showed up to give me a bid I thought they were just the clean, well dressed salesman; turns out they were the actual plumbers! They came in a timely manner, worked efficiently, cleanly, and did solid work. (Pun intended- the shower pan will never move) They even tidied up after a different plumbers laziness. When I had a question, they quickly and totally resolved my concern. These guys are the real deal; clean, articulate, honest, skilled, professional. Joe and Caleb at CB Smith Plumbing are the only plumbers this home will ever have.

My experience with CB Smith Plumbing was excellent from start to finish. I reached out to them on their website, they called back within an hour and scheduled an appointment for our non-urgent issue for 4 days later. Joe called 15 minutes before his arrival time to say he was on the way. After arrival he explained clearly what the problem was and gave me 2 choices as to how to fix it. He did a great job on the repair & explained their warranty. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again for our next plumbing problem.

One of my best experiences ever when it comes to home repairs. My first interaction was with Joe for a cosmetic upgrade. Joe was awesome. He was all around a nice guy, very professional, and offered explanation for what and why throughout the process. He even offered advice for basic good to know maintenance. I had an emergent plumbing need and of course I called CB Smith Plumbing before I even got a chance to write my first review, the office and everyone a I spoke to were very helpful and professional. Mike came out for this repair same day! He was also very prompt, professional, and expressed empathy in the inconvenience of the situation. So despite being in an unpleasant situation, this team did a great job of ensuring I was heard, their response was timely, & their work was performed to the best standard. We called CB Smith plumbing on a Friday. They were at our house on Wednesday, giving us a quote for a brand new water heater in a new location. Our old water heater was in a very inaccessible place under the house. They got us on the books for Friday of the same week.They showed app on time and worked very quickly and efficiently and were out by 1 PM. We have a brand new water heater with a warranty. They were very clean and courteous. I am extremely happy with the work that Mr. McGregor did at our house. It is so exciting to finally be able to take a hot shower. Thats longer than 10 minutes. I would highly recommend this company for any needs in the future. And I will be using them again if I have plumbing issues. Their quote was exactly what they charged us which I always appreciate.

CB Smith Plumbing company is a life saver! I was dreading having to have work done on my parents older home, worried that it would be an outrageous unaffordable cost and that I would be unable to find people willing and skilled enough to fix the problems associated with older houses. As a female I have to worry about getting ripped off with hired tasks Im unable to do myself --and I know Im not the only one! I really should not have put off the work. I wish I called this company sooner. A huge problem affecting living ability in the house was resolved in a couple hours! The cost was less than I expected and worth so much more --to be able to have sinks working again and the stress and worry off my mind! I had to worry about my mother getting injured due to her modified way of living caused by the damaged plumbing.Joe was amazing in every way!!-- from being very knowledgeable, professional, and fast working to just being a kind, respectful, and even funny person! Everyone I spoke to in the office were also very helpful and kind, making the whole experience really great and surprisingly opposite of everything I was dreading! Once again the CB Smith Plumbing team helped when we were in a pinch from a hot water heater leak. That had likely been leaking months unknowingly because who visits their crawl space frequently. I left a message the evening I discovered the leak, and both Melissa & Joe called me the very next morning. Joe came out same day. Mike and team were here to replace a few days later. Quality work as always! Even more, they are really great people! Highly recommend for your plumbing needs!

Look no further- this is the best plumbing company in our area. Our pressure valve failed, leaving us with no water two days before Helene came through and knocked our power out for six days. Recently the underground water line at my home developed a good size leak. I contacted CB Smith to help find the leak and possibly repair the line. Mike Welch arrived right on time and began using their sophisticated leak detection equipment. Two hours later Mike had traced the water line to the opposite side of the house where logic would dictate the line was. He marked the grass where he thought the leak was. We uncovered the ground and the cracked line was exactly where he had marked it. Mike and his apprentice, Chris, were very professional and knew exactly what they were doing. I elected to repair the line myself for $10 in parts. I doubt if I would have located the leak on my own. I would recommend CB Smith Plumbing for any plumbing repairs you may need. Thank you

We had issues with our old galvanized hot water line to the kitchen. Our dishwasher was not cleaning well because there was low hot water pressure, and we also had low pressure to the kitchen faucet hot water as well. We already knew it was going to be a big job, but we also asked if they could replace a couple faucets, including the leaky kitchen faucet while they were at it. When they took apart the galvanized plumbing under the house, we could see that they had definitely gotten to the root of the problem! There was so much buildup and corrosion, that there was hardly any space for the hot water to come through the line. I’ll see if I can attach a picture for you to see! Joe and his assistant were very polite, professional, kind to my kids, and clean as they went about their work, and I appreciated that they were able to take care of several issues at one time. I would not hesitate to ask for their help again if needed!

I cannot say enough about the team at CB Smith Plumbing! Joe and crew were fantastic to work with. I had 70 year old cast iron pipes that needed to be removed and placed with PVC. It was a big job and I was having a hard time finding anyone reliable and available to do the job, until meeting these guys. They replaced 80+ft of cast iron with PVC, the vertical drop underneath the kitchen sink and installed a vent in cabinets under sink. They replaced the flange under the powder bath toilet (that is original to my 1953 house) and replaced the master bath toilet as well. They showed up to quote the job with 2 hours of contacting them and walked me through everything that needed to be done. They were extremely knowledgeable and the quote was more than reasonable. And to top it off, they had availability the VERY next day to do the job. The crew showed up at 8:30AM and was done by 3:30PM. My crawl space was as clean as it was before the work began. They walked me through it again, as it was important to them that I was satisfied with the work. I highly recommend CB Smith Plumbing and I’ll be using them again for my plumbing needs. Having the old pipes replaced seemed daunting to me, but not after working with these guys! Call them!

He recommended a toilet and it turned out to have the highest review rating at Home Depot which is great. They were able to get me scheduled quickly which was nice. Joe was professional and easy to work with. He pointed out things to me as he worked and I was able to see exactly what was going on. Not only did he install the new toilet but he took the old one so that I did not have to deal with it. The bill was reviewed and I was able to pay with a card before he left which was very convenient. To top it all off he had it done within a couple of hours!

As a new home owner having a plumbing catastrophy can be numbing. When I called C&B plumbing and met Joe and Mike my worries subsided. He was very knowledgeable, patient and honest in what leaks were present, and also told us about how to maintain healthy pipes in the future. He was always on time and did not pressure us to buy their service which made us super comfortable to make the best decision for our needs. The job description was to change a main line galvanized pipe, re pipe all copper and galvanized pipes from under the house, reinstall a toilet that basically waterfall flushed underneath our home! I have had an issue with my plumbing since purchasing my home a year and a half ago. Last year I called to have them come out and find/fix the problem and the experience left a poor taste in my mouth and little confidence in their ability as a company to provide accurate and effective solutions. However, after the company came under new ownership several months ago, and after much hesitation on my behalf, they came back out to try a second time at helping me with my problem. It was made clear to me today that not only did they want to lead with excellence going forward in their new work but also address and correct any issues from before ownership changed hands. I work for a crawl space company and we do a lot of work with both electricians and plumbers and can honestly say I was blown away with the communication, knowledge, effort, and experience that was shown by the CB Smith team. Joe and 2 others called me prior to arriving, showed up on time, and explained where and why things were happening and even after spending a substantial amount of time looking for the source of the problem without finding the valve in question, gave clear direction and next steps to a solution rather than guessing after 5 minutes. While the symptom of my problem remains (in no way from a lack of effort or experience), the uncertainty of the solution is no longer a factor. Once I am able to locate the PRV in my home (as the original builders did not install it in a traditional location and is hidden from easy access) they will be the next call I make. I will gladly recommend this new and improved team as good service in the contractor industry is a rarity.
