The crew at Lightsmith were amazing from start to finish. We hired them to do several small jobs, including replacing several light switches in our barn, replacing a faulty circuit breaker and outlet in our kitchen, and hooking up our old outdoor pole light that a prior electrician had disconnected and refused to reconnect when we had our panels replaced. Everything has worked perfectly since, and our barn is much more convenient to work in now that we have remote switches installed in the front. Prices were quite reasonable for the scope of the work, and everyone I spoke with was friendly and professional. I definitely recommend this place. :)

I have called Lightsmith for 6 years for residential electrical help. They have worked on an assortment of electrical needs; floodlight and exterior light installation, baseboard and wall heater repairs and installation, thermostats, bathroom fans, light fixtures, etc. I am always impressed with the staff’s skills, knowledge, and friendliness. I would highly recommend.

Ive been meaning to leave this review for months since these folks upgraded my new meter and routed it to a new sub panel in my basement. I had literally 8 other electricians come and quote it and lightsmith had the best plan, best execution, and best price out of the lot. Some time ago we had LightSmith install a generator lock-out switch. They showed up on time, did exactly what they said and did great work.We recently had a breaker problem affecting our fridge. They called us right back, helped set a plan to remedy the situation the same day we contacted them. Same day is a bonus...but just proactive communication and support is awesome.

We had a couple ceiling fans installed where there were no ceiling fans installed before. I had called a few of the larger electrician companies and they had insane prices for new ceiling fan locations installed. Lightsmith Electric beat them all 50 to 75% below what others were quoting. Im not exaggerating on the price either. Shawn the owner came out, gave us an estimate, after we expanded what we wanted done.He went over everything with us in detail and we then set up an appointment to have it all done. He really made us feel like he cared. A couple of the electricians came out on our scheduled date, and were even early. A few hours later they had two new ceiling fans installed, in our living room, and bedroom where there had never been fans before. They wired them up and even put the bedroom on a dimmer slider switch that we can control the light separately from the fan, all from the wall. The living room is remote controlled. The guys that came out were very professional and easy to talk to. My wife and I will be customers for life after this. Couldnt have asked for a better experience and the cost savings over the big companies is a huge plus. Thank you!

Sean and Hannah and the entire crew at LightSmith Electric are great to work with. They set up a thorough walk through in order to give a thoughtful bid. They helped us understand safety concerns with our 1937 home and suggested a variety of options and budgets for addressing the issues. They showed up on time and worked hard to finish all of our checklist. They even brought in extra help to finish the work on time and on budget. Zach was our lead on the project and he answered all of our questions and even came back early one morning when some of our tricky pool circuitry had a mix up. I not only recommend them highly, were about to hire them for another project.

Hanna is fabulous! Hanna took my call last week, said they didnt have an availability to get fit our office in for service for a couple of weeks, I booked a tentative appointment with them. Hanna knowing what a predicament that our office was in gave us a recommendation that was fabulous, and took care of the problem. Customer Service 10+ for this business! Will definitely give them first crack if we have future electrical issues.

We overloaded a kitchen circuit this morning and while Im fairly savvy with electrical in the home, it seemed like the problem was back at the breaker in the panel. For me, that means its time to call in a professional. I happened to see the LightSmith truck out in front of my neighbors house and left a note on the truck asking if they might come by my house if they freed up. 10 minutes later, Sean Smith comes and knocks on my door. He quickly diagnosed my problem as a loose breaker in the panel and had it fixed in no time. This is the week of Thanksgiving and Im sure Sean and his crew are slammed, so I really appreciate him taking the time to help us out when he had no obligation to do so. Thanks a million, Sean!!

I had a GFCI outlet that broke. Tried to fix it myself, but too many wires in a too small box. Called Lightsmith electric who were very friendly and arranged a crew to come by. Within 30 minutes the box was rewired and everything was working again. Good quality work, great people.
