    So far I have no complaints using prime heating. They did have to reschedule from November to January for routine maintenance because of people having heating issues, but that is nice to know that takes priority. Everyone Ive interacted with has been super nice, our tech Michael was very pleasant and helpful today and Elijah was super great when he came out last year. The girls who do the scheduling are very helpful and nice as well.

    Amazing company to work with! They helped me to find the best possible heating and cooling solution for my home at a price that cannot be beat.The company is small but mighty, striking the best balance of that personal, small business vibe with the benefit of installation and device experts that usually only exist at larger companies.     I recently had my furnace serviced by Prime Heating and Cooling, and I couldnt be happier with the experience! Larry and his team were friendly, punctual, and incredibly professional.They arrived right on time and took the time to listen to my concerns before getting to work. Their thorough inspection and cleaning of my furnace made a noticeable difference in its performance.What impressed me most was Larrys willingness to educate me about my furnace and provide maintenance tips. I felt informed and confident moving forward.Overall, I highly recommend Prime Heating and Cooling! They deserve five stars for their excellent service. I’ll definitely be calling them again for any future heating needs!

    Two gentlemen came out in the bitter cold for an oil spill during a recent tank fill up for heating oil. The gentlemen were efficient, professional and friendly and knew what they were doing. The cleaned up and tossed out anything that was contaminated and found an area that was lose and tightened it. They cleaned off everything with brake cleaner to see if there were additional leaks. Super satisfied. They left but returned in 5 minutes to let me know that the side of the house was splashed as well and told me how to clean it up. Amazing service...highly recommend them.

    Prime comes in clutch once again as we are repeat customers. We woke up this morning with no heat. We placed a call to Prime and they responded out promptly and repaired the issue. The tech was courteous and knowledgeable. Fantastic experience.

    Super super nice young man came to check out our old furnace today. Or first time with this company. Extremely satisfied. Very very prompt service even for a non-customer of theirs.     We made an appointment for annual oil burner maintenance a few weeks in advance, but the day before our service appointment, Prime called us to re-schedule because they were behind schedule. I understand how that happens, but thats why they earned a 4 star rating instead of 5. For the second appointment, Prime showed up within the time window they said they would (though, they didnt text me slightly in advance like many service companies do and I like to have that advanced notice). Victor was pleasant and he cleaned our oil burner and thankfully pointed out a couple valves and a gauge which needed replacing (and which we hadnt noticed). Victor, even called me back later that day to review in detail what hed found and texted me a photo of some internal flue damage I wouldnt have been able to see, but which needed repair (the kind of repair Prime isnt licensed for, but which chimney sweeps do). I very much appreciate that level of service.

    Awesome company!! I called cause my boiler died. The same day a saleman named Anthony came out. What a cool guy! Went over 3 different option. Then a few days later they came to do the work. Victor, James, Jason, Elijah and one other person but forgot his name were very polite professionals and effective. Couldnt of asked for a better job. Thanks Prime!!

    When I had a heating issue, I called prime and they responded right away. Someone was out the next day to assess the problem and order the part. The tech was very friendly, polite and professional. He went over the issue in depth and explained everything.As soon as the part was in, they had the heat up and running. I would definitely use them again if the need arises.

    My mother just had Prime install 2 mini splits and fix some pipes in her basement. She couldnt stop talking about how great Eli was who installed the mini splits and Michael who fixed her basement pipes. My mom is almost 80 years old and I can not be always their to help her.     We are new customers with Prime Heating & Cooling, LLC. Michael just finished our annual furnace cleaning and we are extremely pleased with the service. Michael was polite, thorough, and very professional. After completing the cleaning, he gave us detailed information about the furnace which was very helpful. Excellent customer service!8/27/2024 Last Friday, we found a small amount of oil on our basement floor. The smell of oil was obvious and we assumed that there was a leak. The tank was 60 years old and it was clearly time for a replacement. We called Prime Heating & Cooling, explained the situation and within an hour a technician arrived. James found a leak on the bottom of the tank and was able to put a temporary patch in place. He was very polite, professional, and provided us with information about the process to have the tank replaced. I called the office and we were able to schedule the replacement for today.The technicians who were here today to remove the old tank and install the new tank did an absolutely outstanding job! Victor, Kevin, Luigi, and Dan completed the removal of the old tank and the installation of the new tank in 2 1/2 hours. They were all polite, professional, very hard working, and absolutely terrific! They also did an excellent job of cleaning up the work area. We are very pleased and very impressed with the work that was done today! Of note; I am extremely sensitive to oil and gas smells. I was a bit concerned about how bad the smell might be while the work was being done but remarkably there was only a faint oil smell and it dissipated within a few hours.

    Prime is installing both a Water heater And HVAC system. The sales people Having been great so far. The water heater was installed and a little bit of water was found a few days later. Prime came right out and identified the expansion tank was faulty and quickly replace replaced it.The text were great and explained everything they were doing and even showed me how the expansion tank had gone badLooking forward to getting the HVAC installed.

    It’s hard to get quality service these days, but your worries can be put to rest with these guys! They show up as expected, explaining what they do and answering any questions you might have.     They finish the work and follow through. They don’t however seem to arrive within the window they promise. So that’s an inconvenience. But they did good work in the end. They are responsive. And that’s the most important thing. I would definitely recommend them. We had a totally new central air put in. Including all new ductwork. And two cassette self contained units. For reference.

    We will use this company again. We had an annual tune-up of our AC system, which was professionally and thoroughly carried out. A few weeks later the condenser unit started making a loud buzzing sound when running. Someone came out promptly, knew what the problem was right away and fixed it, all with no charge. We were very impressed! We will give Prime a call when its time to service our boiler.

    From the first phone call through the day of service I was impressed with Prime.I was fortunate to have a new hot water tank installed within just a couple of days after my call. The installer, Michael, was very courteous and explained everything to me.     Had a new central air unit put in and new furnace. The workers were very pleasant, Noah especially, and got the job done in a timely manner. Even the owner came out to help finish the job, hes also very pleasant and professional. Had a hiccup in the quote and it was taken care of in a very fair manner.     After my regular “boiler man” retired I was in need for someone to do the regular cleaning and maintenance of my oil boiler system. Prime was recommended and upon calling them they very quickly scheduled an appointment to clean the boiler. Justin did a great job! Shortly thereafter I noticed the boiler sputtering and struggling to stay lit…..I called back again and Victor came out within an hour and what seemed like maybe a bad coincidence turned out to be a quickly diagnosed bad relay box which he quickly changed out and at no charge! He answered all of my questions and took care of a minor problem of some exhaust escaping from the junction of the exhaust pipe and the back of the boiler. We couldn’t be happier and hope he returns next year when we are due for another cleaning.

I was told my boss needs to review the case to get a quote from Prime and to text if I didnt hear from them by the end of the week. I never received a quote, so I texted the Service Rep, then followed up again later. Never received a response. I have to assume they were just not interested in the job.Seems there was some misunderstanding perhaps? Ill bump the rating up to 4 stars. Nothing bad happened after all.

    Let me first say primes office staff is AMAZING. They had a complete handle on scheduling and kept me informed of my upcoming cleaning and maintenance appointment. The service techs Dan and Chris were an absolute pleasure. These two guys went above and beyond. Both super friendly and very knowledgeable.The only problem I had was pricing. The appointment was triggered by a RISE assessment that took place. When I first called prime I was given one price and notified them what RISE was requesting. I sent the paperwork RISE provided me and prime called me back with another price that was $100 more than the original they provided me due to the nature of the cleaning necessary. Then, when the work was completed I was told the price was now MORE than TWICE as much as the second quoted price I was given. I realize the work needed ended up being more extensive than originally anticipated but I felt the price tag was WAY too high.

    My system was installed in March of 2023. So far, the system is working well and I am glad I went for the heat pump as the house is comfortable all year. I like the fact that it uses no fossil fuel as well.As far as the company is concerned, my experience was very mixed. When at my property, everything seemed to go smoothly, however, the installer forgot to reattach a light fixture and (this is the most perplexing of all) the front cover of my boiler jacket went missing. I had no boiler work done as it is pretty new. I have had lukewarm to no response from the company to correct this issue. There was a lot of passing the buck (so and so was supposed to take care of that), and then just plain ignoring my calls and emails. 5 months later Im still waiting. The owner did contact me when I researched the cost of the replacement part...guess what! You cant order the cover separately and the jacket is around 800 to replace. The installers attitude was whats the big deal? The boiler still works. The big deal is that all the wires are exposed and relatively new boiler/just paid for/ looks like crap. The owner finally offered to have his sheet metal guy make me a cover, but that never panned out as he was out of the country on a family emergency that is ongoing 4 months later. In other words, no action on the part of the company. I can only guess what could have happened...did the scrap metal guy help himself thinking I wouldnt notice? Dont know. I finally just ended going to a sheet metal fabricator on my own, took my own measurements and had one made. I am frustrated and annoyed with this company and will be sending them the bill for the cover...probably along with a small claims court document as I expect the owner will ignore this as well. If you have them in your house, keep an eye on who is coming and going. Thats my advice.Update: January 24. Apparently the employee who was ignoring my requests is no longer with the company. A different tech came out and he was so personable and helpful that I have decided to give the company another chance. A good employee is worth their weight in gold.

    I had a wonderful experience using Prime Heating and Cooling LLC. Our house had no heat and the company that we have always used previously (Restivos) said they could not come until January. The technician (Chris) was there promptly on time and explained all issues found. My Parts had to be ordered and Cindy called me when they came in and arranged to have Kevin complete the Service. Kevin arrived on time too and completed the repair ( I needed a new blower motor and my capacitor was weak so that was also replaced. They also installed my Thermostat that I had purchased previously to calling them. Within 1 week all of my issues were taken care of and our home was warm again. They have gained a new customer.     When Nelson Oil dropped their service crew, they recommended Prime. Was unsure about the change but took their advice. So this was the first time having Prime do the routine maintenance on my oil furnace. Tech was thorough and knowledgeable about the burner. Noticed a issue with incorrect nozzle size and pressure setting that was making the burner run very rich (ie dirty with excess soot and CO production, what is really a serious condition). He was great at explaining the issue and how he ultimately corrected the problem. Very happy with the service call and now confident if I have any problems this winter that Prime will be able to handle them.

Hasn’t been fixed yet, because the technician didn’t have the replacement parts needed. He made an appointment for tomorrow, Monday, January 2, 2023. Don’t know the time yet!     The install crew was fabulous. Neat and thorough - with attention to detail. Each day they cleaned up after themselves - to the point you wouldn’t know they had been there - even though they were coming back in the AM. We switched to Prime from another RI HVAC contractor - and wont be looking back. Could not be happier with the install.

    Got up in the morning to our furnace blowing cold air. Called to schedule an appointment and was able to get one for 3 hours later which I was happy about. Received a call 2 hours before they were to come out to say they could be there earlier. Diagnosed a problem with the thermostat. Installed a temporary one and Im planning in having newer ones installed by them.

    The two employees from Prime Heating & Cooling were diligent in analyzing why the thermostat wasn’t connecting with the furnace. When they arrived, the house was 53 degrees. They replaced batteries in the thermostat then went to work downstairs. Bottom line? The draft inducer was malfunctioning and not pushing the flame upwards. Because of that, the flame rollout switch was burned out. They left to pick up the necessary units that needed replacing and returned to install them. Bottom line? The house is warming up as I type this.Here we are, a few months later, and now the AC system doesnt work. The Prime tech arrived and $444.64 later, I now have a functioning AC system.Where the company fails miserably is in the morons they hire for their call center. When my tech hadn’t yet shown 35 minutes after a scheduled 9:30 appointment today, I was told by the rep that she would call him and call me back. I waited and waited, then called again. This time I was told rudely that I had to wait until “the office was open.” This was after 10 on a Monday morning!I decided to call the owner and was about to leave a voice mail when I saw the truck pull up. It wasn’t the tech who was scheduled to come; it was one I hadn’t met before. He was very nice and got the job done — $445 later. Now I can tuck away the two fans I had to purchase to keep my dogs and me semi-comfortable while I waited for an entire week for my AC to be fixed — AFTER they pre-collected a $149 fee. When I asked if this was something new, I was told it was a result of people’s not paying their bills after the work was done. Another result of Braindead Biden’s horrendous economy. 😡

    It was great being able to see when the technicians would arrive. They showed me the wear and tear on my HVAC and gave me options and prices on the spot to replace a corroded part. Very friendly, super helpful-- would use again.
