    We initially started with 1Solar and moved to Green Ridge Solar when 1Solar support fell through. Our experience with Green Ridge is heads and shoulders above what we got with our previous service. They are responsive and have exceeded our expectations whenever called upon.     I needed a ground mounted system and they provided it. Easy to work with, great customer service. I had f an issue when the power company finally installed the bidirectional meter and they were quick to reach out and solve it. I mean quick, I emailed them and the next day customer service had my issue solved.

    Thus far we have been very pleased with the attentiveness and knowledge of the Green Ridge crew.     I talked with more than six different solar companies, and Green Ridge treated me like an adult. No overwrought promises about solar production and savings. No pressure, just information. After talking with me and looking at our house from satellite images, they made an initial estimate, which they provided in writing. And, without prompting, they offered local references. Some other companies I dealt with made overly ambitious promises, refused to give me a hard copy of their estimate, and said they couldn’t give me references because that would invade the privacy of their clients. Unlike some others, Green Ridge didn’t offer Voodoo financing, instead hooking me up with a decent solar-specific loan from a credit union, and they did all the paperwork to take advantage of a state rebate. And unlike others who wanted a lot of the money upfront, in one case even before the physical site inspection, I didn’t pay Green Ridge a cent until the system was installed. All through the process, people were friendly and kept me informed. The installers were great, and didn’t mind my constant questions about what’s that thing and what does it do. When we had a hiccup with electrical inspection, they sent the electrician back promptly until we got it resolved. Once we passed final inspection, they let the local utility know and within two days they came out and installed the new two-way meter. We flipped the switches and, Victor Frankenstein proclaimed, “It’s alive!” If you’re interested in solar, do talk to several companies. Just make sure Green Ridge is one of them. We’re glad we worked with them.

    My solar panels were installed by Green Ridge and I recently had them removed and replaced for a new roof. While nobody likes to pay additional money (it costs to take them off and reinstall), they were a pleasure to work with - very responsive and communicative. They had some folks out sick and could not finish the first day and they took care to cover everything well, clearly communicated, worked within our schedule to get the job done. My solar panels have always worked well without problems - I would work with them again anytime!

    From beginning to end Green Ridge Solar was terrific. What we appreciated most was their handling of the permitting process which took 6 months, including getting easements from the power companies to put the array under their wires which cross the only clear areas of our ten acre forested property.     Installing Solar Panels with Green Ridge was seamless. Green Ridge sales and management teams were great to work with. They answered all of my questions promptly. The panels were installed quickly and to agreed upon specifications. The panels were installed in late August 2020 and provided enough power to cover my usage through January. By March, my system was again exceeding my usage. I would highly recommend Green Ridge Solar to my friends and neighbors.

    I have worked with a lot of teams and this one is clearly fine tuned and driven by tech. I started with a recommendation from PGE to a list of contractors for solar and a battery. Green ridge was first to respond, fast with appointments, and present through the whole process. This was important to me as I wanted to ensure maximum offset of my electricity usage with all planned renovations in mind to my home adding a jacuzzi and EV - Caroline (who has a degree in this business - all the folks are super talented) said no problem and was right there the whole way as the federal incentives changed providing super advice to match. Their management of all the permits and tree trimming and assets with shortages is impressive and I felt informed the whole way.I am absolutely thinking of green ridge for future projects, and appreciate the installers and electricians putting up with my questions- clearly they are passionate about their work!!

    The crew that performed the install on the house Summer 2018 were experienced and did a good job. The roof had no leaks, and they were prompt & timely. My electric bills are effectively gone. In the summer I bank credit through the net metering agreement with the local power company, and in the winter I draw on those credits when needed.Ive had a couple minor complaints with the performance of the battery system, but Green Ridge has been very proactive about making sure I am satisfied with the performance of the system they implemented as a whole.Update August 2019: Green Ridge replaced the original battery system with one that is a significant upgrade, as they recognized the batteries they were installing in 2018 were problematic for other customers as well. The new battery is wall mounted & looks much nicer, takes up less garage space, has far better load & capacity specs, and is more reliable. They did this at no charge, and included an inverter replacement/upgrade and a couple more roof panels for my trouble. You really cant ask for a better response.

    I had solar arrays installed on 2 homes. One had unforeseen structural issues that Green Ridge remedied at their cost in order to pass the city of Portland inspection. On the other home I ended up with a more powerful array than I expected at no extra cost. I highly recommend this company. They install top line products. Emma Purice was great to work with, very pro-active, excellent customer service/coordination. The crew was fast professional and efficient.

    I had zero clue about solar. I found Green Ridge through energy trust of Oregon. They had very high great reviews. One of the 1st companies to reach out after submitting my request. I strongly recommend them. The whole process from start to finish was so very easy. The company does all the paperwork for you just a couple esign documents. They schedule all inspections you need. The crew was very prompt and professional. Good guys to talk to and everyone knows each aspect of the project. Any questions I had were answered immediately.

    So far, so good!! Very good! Excellent planning team, professional installation team, now just waiting to turn on my system (next week after inspections)! Like the planning team, the installation team was polite and efficient, and left my property clean as a whistle, whoo wooh!Now I am waiting for delivery of my backup battery system, which has been delayed by national supply and delivery problems, not at all Green Ridges fault. They let me know, as soon as they knew. Ill report back again when my solar system is up and running, for a Solarbration!!

    Initially had some problems with lack of information from sales. Once the administrative personnel and the installers got involved, the process was completed timely and professionally. The installers were terrific and took less than one day to install the panels. The electrician was prompt, professional and was willing to explain what he was doing and why. My experience with Alex Carpenter and Susan Williamson was excellent and all questions and concers were addressed promptly and professionally.

    9.92kw home project last fall (Sept) and they got it done in 72 hrs and it looks beautiful, has saved us over $100/month on our 4200 sq ft house and the 30% Federal tax credit for 2019 was huge. Also , the tech works. From Sept 17th to April 24th my array has generated 5.23 MWhs so far. That is wonderful considering this doesnt include Western Oregon summer yet. I highly recommend Greenridge for any solar project. From installation to inspections to startup to support, they are highly experienced and we are very happy with our experience. Thank you GRS!Dec 2020 update - with just over a week left in 2020, my GRS array has produced 12.03MWh for the year. I am very happy about those numbers and that is with weeks of smoke from fires too.

    When I started my solar project I had a lot to learn so I contacted 9 different solar installers, all recommended by either EnergyTrust or EnergySage. The proposals were complicated enough that I made a spreadsheet to compare them all. Green Ridge came out better than median on $/kW panel production, and a leader in $/kWh of battery, which is important to me. Filling in my spreadsheet gave me an idea of the customer service I could expect from these companies and here Green Ridge is the clear winner.GR went through numerous design options with me – their modelling software made it easy to run through any number of configurations until I had one I liked. They promised to handle the bewildering maze of regulations/inspections/PGE-clearances required and they came through perfectly. They made several site pre-inspection visits to my home to get the plans all correct, then they showed up when they said, finished when they said, and now I chuckle every time I see that green arrow on my phone app that tells me I’m sending power back to PGE.I have already recommended GreenRidge to my brother-in-law – his solar system is now up and running also. And I recommend GreenRidge to anyone who appreciates good customer service.

    I had an issue with the inverter not communicating and a tech came out the next day. The fix was a simple update of the inverter software and a system restart and all was good. The tech walked me through the restart proces and said to try that first if it stops communicating and that should fix the problem, and if it doesnt somebody would come out right away to fix the issue.

    DISCLAIMER; I did not buy solar panels. This review is based solely on my inferactioms with team memebers. After being persued what I would call aggresivley after clicking on an ad banner on Instagram I was somewhat dreading the telephone conference I had set up with this company. I was genuinely interested in investing in solar, but after doing some research prior to the meeting I was starting to realize solar may not benefit me as much as I presumed it would. Electricity in my county is among the cheapest in the country and it would probably take me beyond the life of the solar panels to recoup my investment. But I decided to hear them out anyways, I mean I dunno my research could be wrong. To my surprise it wasnt, and the rep let me know right away it probably wasnt a great fit for me. Seems like a stand up company to me and wouldnt hesitate to revisit the idea with this group down the line when solar is invedibaly more affordable and commonplace

    I am pleased to give a 5 star rating for this solar company. For 5 years I did my research on the solar industry and had multiple bids from different companies. Green Ridge showed itself to be a cut above all the others I spoke to. Their professionalism from the first contact was exceptional. They were not pushy in their sale and they were some of the most competitive with their pricing that I found. After viewing all the info on their website and reading all the reviews I was satisfied to decide to use them to put in my ground mount system. From the first day of entering into a contract for the install they said what they would do and did what they said. They made this install so easy with their prompt install, keeping me in touch with the next task and scheduled time for crew to be here. Everything with this install was done with efficiency that only comes from a can do motto, excellent work onsite with their in house employees who quickly completed the project. I also drove and toured the headquarters of Green Ridge and was impressed with their operations. This is one satisfied customer to say the least. Yes, give them a call as you will not be sorry.

    Green Ridge Solar did a fantastic job on our solar system installation. We learned about them through Energy Trust of Oregon, which pre-qualifies design/install businesses, and couldn’t be happier. They were so professional throughout the entire process – from design (including onsite visit), through permitting (which in our case was more complicated due to unique home design), through installation and follow-up. They answered all our questions along the way, and dealt with all regulatory matters so we didn’t have to. They even recommended a roofer which could work us into an already busy summer schedule, so we could get our panels up without delay. During installation their crew was efficient and super-nice, even working on some hot days. I can’t recommend Green Ridge Solar enough!

    The crew was informative and responsive, the planning of the project was well documented and shared, the installation crew received the wrong parts when first arriving to get the project done, so there was a wait time of about a month to finish the project, but otherwise they were quick and efficient, and took care of everything for us.
