    I would highly recommend Mr Rooter - Jamie. He has done two homes (both very old, renovation/additions) for me which required - cut/cap, diagnostic, relining sewer line, adding new sections of sewer etc. He was able to get the town permit and work efficiently with the sewer department. Job explained clearly and time line met both times. Very happy with his service!

    Great service, very responsive! My kitchen sink got clogged last night, I called Mr. Rooter and they sent Jamie first thing this morning. Its Thanksgiving today and we have a full house coming for dinner. Cant imagine cooking dinner without a sink! Jamie was great, figured out what needed to be done and fixed the problem in a very short time. Thank you Jamie and Mr. Rooter!!

    I was kept informed as to when to expect the plumber. I had issues with drainage under my sink for years. The drainage always leak several times each years. Finally bite the bullet and had a professional do the work. The difference was night and day. Very professionally done work. Fast and prompt. Beat expectations. When completed it looked like artistry with minimal drainage pipes and more under the sink space. Iā€™d highly recommend.

    I highly recommend Mr. Rooter of Southern Fairfield County. They responded to my inquiry on Home Advisor for a sewer main repair immediately. I barely finished clicking submit when my phone rang. The office staff was polite, friendly and efficient. The owner August Wildman was at the door within an hour. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He prepared a written estimate on site and emailed me his quote as we spoke. He promptly responded to phone calls answering honestly to all follow up questions and options. Once hired the work was done within a day. The crew was more than competent, courteous and respectful to my property. The owner was present during the job and kept me fully apprised as the worked progressed. I would hire them again.

Arrived on time, same-day service, price, quote, agreed-upon, added in some details about the service contract, whole process took about two hours or so to change the leaking hot water heater, upgrade to a 50 gallon heater, and he explained the whole process as well as next steps, and how to operate it. Also, his suggestions to avoid the same issue in the future were very well made, including bringing in other technicians with further abilities to be sure the issue did not arise again. All in all, while always a concern when a plumber has to be brought in, it was a satisfying experience - I would highly recommend Fernando and Mr. Rooter for your plumbing needs.

    Friendly, personable and careful service tech, Arthur, called beforehand, arrived on time and completed work expeditiously. He was observant enough to notice a color mismatch w/ new replacement part and managed to incorporate a part from the older unit to complete the look, something you wouldnā€™t expect.     Very happy with the service from Mr. Rooter. Every email was answered promptly and they showed up exactly when they said they would. The job was finished in a very timely manner and everything was very clearly communicated to us. They even very carefully worked around my plants and any shrubs in their path were carefully removed and replanted afterward. Not part of their job, but we really appreciated that extra care!

    Unfortunately my garbage disposal seized on Thanksgiving morning and my sink clogged. It was a total emergency as I needed to wash my turkey and get it in the oven ASAP. I was so happy to call Mr. Rooter and get a live person who told me someone would call me in 5 minutes. Not only did someone call me but it was the owner who told me he was sending one of his plumbers. I was so relieved. The plumber Kevin then called me within 5 minutes to try to understand my issue and he then told me that he would be on the way shortly. When Kevin arrived he was very professional, polite, & fixed the problem right away. He even cleaned my floor where a little water spilled and could not have been nicer. I was so thrilled that my garbage disposal sink working again and the sink clog cleared. Kevin and Mr. Rooter saved the day! I most definitely will be calling them again and will gladly refer to my friends and family!! My experience could not have been any better!!!

    Saturday afternoon with a clogged toilet at church. Jimmy spent about one and a half hours trying to clear the clog without success. The response time was excellant and Jimmy was very professional.     I called at 5:40 PM. The customer service representative who responded was friendly and took the time needed to ensure she correctly documented my problem. My technician was Mr. Fernando Mojica, Jr., who arrived within the estimated time of 20 minutes. He was friendly, courteous, and conscientious about keeping the workspace and my home as clean as possible. Mr. Mojica helped me move a storage shelf in my basement so he had room to work. He also helped me open the BILCO doors to my basement so he could bring his equipment directly in from the outside and, thereby, avoid tracking any dirt or debris through my homes living area. (Moving the BILCO door was NOT easy, but Mr. Mojica was fine with helping me.) My husband arrived just after Mr. Mojica began working. He and I both asked questions about the problem with our plumbing and its drainage to the sewer outside. Mr. Mojica was patient with his responses. He finished the work within an hour of his arrival and left no dirt or debris behind. I highly recommend Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Southern Fairfield County in general and Mr. Fernando Mojica, Jr., in particular. Thank you for the great service!

    I had a very positive experience. The team arrived promptly, in one case AHEAD of schedule (after calling ahead to make sure it was ok.) They explained everything, gave me a price ahead of the work and when I contacted the office after they left with a quick question, I got an immediate response. All the service I got was very friendly and professional. I dealt with Fernando, Kevin, Gary and Eric. They were all friendly and the work was excellent. The work was done by Gary and Eric.     When Home Depot did not disconnect and remove my old refrigerator because it had a copper pipe leading to the ice machine (?) and left my new refrigerator in my kitchen uninstalled I needed emergency help. Mr. Rooter sent 2 super-competent professionals who arrived at my house within an hour from my call and did the whole job. They disconnected the old, moved it out of the way, and perfectly installed the new. I am so grateful they were able to come on short notice and get the job done, and impressed with how positive and helpful they were. They are now top of my list to call the next time I need help and I could not recommend them more highly.

They came the next day for an on-site analysis and quote. The fault was identified quickly, a quote made, and the jam removed. The service man wore mask as required by the town. Highly recommended.

    Mr.Rooter is this absolute best plumbing service!!!!I made my appointment on Friday with Mr.Rooter. The secretary was so courteous and was upfront with the cost. I was a little concerned on having a overflow in my bathroom. She reassured me by giving me an emergency contact number.     We had a new finished basement flood in our fairly new home and many contractors came in with very expensive advise but one suggested that before we start jackhammering and excavating, we check the drains with a camera. We called the Ansonia CT Mr. Rooter and Fernando and Tremain appeared with equipment within the hour. They worked diligently and using their tunneling camera, discovered the water source and a collapse in the draining system. They demonstrated everything to us on video. Then a supervisor came with a locator and for excavation purposes and repair, pinpointed where the collapse was. They were professional and they actually educated us on the drainage system of our home and the importance of proper maintenance. Grateful!

    Great for basically all of our plumbing needs. We returned home one evening to a hot water heater fault and no hot water. Called Mr. Rooter the next morning, they already had our information from a previous visit, and Gary and crew were on site two hours later to diagnose.     I had the sewer back up at night which I found out in the morning.Thankfully it was overflowing from the outlet in the backyard which saved the probable mess inside my home.I called Mr. Rooter based on their google reviews and I think I made a great decision there.They entertained me on the Sunday considering it as an emergency and despite of limited resources on Sunday, they assured me for the best possible help.It took few hours, but they were at my place with their crew and machines. They reviewed all the plumbing and connections thoroughly and made sure there is no issue before applying the solutions.They then started with hydro jet flushing, but the clog was not completely removed, and the video inspection showed that it was stuck at 40 feet. They didnt give up and located another entry point which required a foot digging where they had to cut the 4-inch pipe and jet from that location and after jetting cleared obstruction at about 90 feet. It was then stuck at 90 ft and was not able to move forward.The point of obstruction was located, and it was decided to dig another day and find out the root cause.Next day they took care of all the city inspections and approvals for the excavation and showed up at 7:00 am with their crew. Excavated existing sewer line near condenser on side of yard. They then exposed existing AC 6-inch sewer line with fernco. continued to expose existing sewer line and found another fernco coupling. At some point in time, wine was repaired with fernco and SDR pipe. So basically, we found frozen grease and wood debris of pipe size and misalignments. He removed the proximately 10-foot section of pipe and replaced with (2) arc couplings and 6-inch SDR pipe. Also installed 6-inch clean out for future access. The old pipe was replaced and the offsets in the pipe was corrected up to a great extent.After all the process a proper video inspection was done and shown to us to make sure the line is flowing properly. Also recommended for 2-year inspection.It was little overwhelming for us being 1st time homeowners, but I must say Mr. Rooter handled it meticulously. He was very thorough and transparent with the complete process and made sure I understand the problems, steps to correct it and the costs involved.They also inspected my sump pump installation, bidet installations and made sure we understand what is correct and whatā€™s not. They also offer financing solutions but interaction regarding that on phone could have been better, there was some miscommunication regarding activation fees.They are humble, professionals, caring and understanding. They know what there are doing. They know the pulse of these problems and their never giving up attitude and execution excellency makes them the best in the class.Thank you, Mr. Rooter, for helping us. Keep it up. Not only that he was honest and could definitely trust he was not taking advantage of new homeowners.The second visit was for clearing out our drain leads from our lower driveway.     Our water main line had developed a leak right next to a large tree bordering our neighbors property. This was the second time in less than a year, so we decided to replace the whole line. I spent weeks researching and calling many contractors to find the right one. From the first visit, Jamie was professional and straightforward in his assessment. He was willing to give me a quote on a custom excavation path that would cut into our driveway, veering far enough away from the tree to help ensure its survival. His quote accounted for the narrow pathway and central A/C fan on the side of our house which would require both a mini-excavator and an A/C specialist. Other companies I called seemed to specialize in just plumbing or excavation with or without asphalt, hiring sub-contractors for the other parts, but Mr. Rooter covered everything. Even the A/C specialist would come from their sister company Aire Serv. Overall Jamies quote was reasonable compared to other companies and managed to stay within my budget. And then during the job itself Jamie and his team of three others worked harder than anyone I have ever seen. Despite several challenges, including having to cross a gas line three times due to the custom winding path, the team continued working into the night to ensure that they would not leave that first day without turning on the water with the new line. It has been ten days following the completion of the project, and I could not be happier with the results. I would highly recommend Mr. Rooter and in particular Jamie and his team to anyone who asks.

    I really needed to give a shout out to this business and the way they handle their customers. During the repair of the pipe, they accidentally broke a piece of our fence. This is not a post to share that they did a bad job, because honestly, they found our water build up problem within minutes, found the location of the pipe and found that it was crushed in our backyard. All something that I thought would take a long time to figure out. The day that they came, they dug up our yard exactly where the pipe was, and replaced a huge piece of pipe all under 2 hours. I think they did an amazing job and were on time each time we had them over our house. When confronted about the fence, they were extremely professional and apologetic, and they worked on fixing it immediately. Not a lot of companies would do that, they would find some way to blame the consumer and get out of having to pay.     I had an outdoor spigot that wouldnt turn off. The guys from Mr. Rooter came out and did what needed to be done to replace it and to install an indoor valve so it could be more easily turned off in the future. Nice guys, reasonable prices.

    Jamie and AJ came to my momā€™s home, which is over 200 years old, to unclog her bathtub. They were punctual, efficient, responsive to her needs, polite, and especially kind to my 95 year old Mom.The cost for this work, was extremely reasonable. This old house needed a lot of repair and updating to unclog the tub. They were there for several hours. They explained exactly what they were going to do and they showed me what they were doing along the way. The result was an unclogged tub, but more importantly, new PVC pipes that will ensure better drainage and access for 2 bathrooms- for not only the tub, but also both sinks and toilets.
