Never fun on a Sunday to see your water heater throwing a tantrum and leaking all over the place. Even with their busy schedule they got to me Wednesday and set me up with an amazing tankless water heater. I noticed a significant drop on my utility usage. As far as heat or lag, I could not tell much difference. The install was insanely well plumed and they simplified the mess of pipes from previousinstallers. Im so glad I went with the professional and friendly people at Freds, thanks so much!!!

Freds has assisted me on several jobs around the house. They epitomize the saying you get what you pay for. You may be able to find a cheaper plumber/HVAC business, but you will not find a better one. In the three jobs they have been hired to do they have always gone above and beyond the original scope of work while sticking to their quote. Your house will be more functional and efficient for having hired them. They have created a life-long customer out of me due to the dedication to their craft and the quality products they provide.

He is very meticulous. I definitely recommend Freds. Alex is also a licensed plumber.

Freds service area I well outside of where I live but my parents use them annually so I decided to call and see if I could get a professional opinion about my 9 year old indoor and outdoor boilers. The company that Installed this system were less then even cordial when I asked about the layout of my system and why I couldnt use it as is to its full potential. When I called Freds I figured they would probably give some feedback but was surprised on how friendly and professional the conversation was. Not that I didnt think they would be rather to the level the person on the phone was.

Alex came out on a weekend and installed our new and first central ac unit! He also put in a new thermostat and a new blower for more efficiency! Super professional wont upsale you if you dont want to spend more money, but gives you all the best options from a cheaper price point to a greater one! Recommend to anyone needing heat or ac done, or needing maintenance!

Paul and Alex from Freds helped me out of a real bind with a furnace that decided to die. They came out on very short notice when my tenants reported no heat (during a very cold snap) and got the system going short term, but it was clear the furnace would need to be replaced, so we scheduled a time in a few weeks to get that done. Unfortunately, the unit stopped working for good yesterday and Paul was able to work me in to get a new furnace installed today! His crew was on time, friendly and efficient and the tenant said they did a superb job and the house is toasty warm again.Earlier in the season I called on Paul for my primary residence and another rental property - both times he was able to quickly fix the issues. Even when I had to call him on a Sunday in the evening, he was able to help me out.I cant say enough about Freds Heating and AC - Ive worked with other local companies in the past, theres no comparison!

Its hard to read any negative reviews for Freds. I have had the opportunity to work with Freds twice now (August of 2011 and May of 2016) and each time has been nothing short of amazing! They were prompt with appointments, very reasonable with quotes, and the follow through with the actual work has been incredible. Huge shout out to Paul, Alex, and Bill - thank you Freds Heating and Air Conditioning! I have and will continue to recommend this company as they are one of the easiest and most respectful group of folks to work with in a job field that is easy to lose that respect for. Awesome work.

I am in the process of getting a boiler replaced with Freds. So far I am impressed! Our boiler went out last night and we woke up in a panic and freezing. I called Freds and they (like every other heating company) were all booked for the day. Freds was the only company that said they would fit us in today no matter what; and they did! The owner, Paul even came himself since all other techs were full. They called while on the way, explained everything thoroughly so we could make an informed decision. Once we knew our options, we decided to get a new boiler. Freds even offered financing that was a breeze to apply for. My new boiler is on the way and they will be back in the morning to install. I LOVE local small businesses because of this very reason. Freds is doing it right! I strongly recommend you give them a try. You wont be disappointed.

Edit: Got a phone call from Paul, the owner. He explained that the $800 quote also covered the return trip to locate the leak, but not to fix it.Had them out to look at my AC. They quoted me $800 to recharge my system and put in a dye so they could come back later to fix whatever leaks there might be. I know that theres some markup on parts and labor charges, but when I can get a kit with more than enough refrigerant to do it myself for $90 from an American supplier, well its the kind of thing that makes a person think about a career change if theres that kind of money in it.
