Our water heater kept going out due to high humidity in our basement. 5-Star heating and air gave up recommendations on how to get rid of that humidity with a dehumidifier. However, before that it broke 3xs- They came out within the hour of us calling them- EVERYONE was so accommodating, they suggested that we get the replacement parts from the distributor and those were under warranty- so was some of the labor and they explained how to figure that out as well. I have never had such pleasure working with any company the way I did with them. Their prices even at the emergency rate was beyond affordable and we are so thankful we got referred to 5-star heating and air. 5-STARS!!!!!!!!!!

My old AC and furnace couldn’t keep up with its demand and I needed to replace it. The people at 5 star were able to help me out quickly and get everything replaced. The day before my install my water heater started leaking and they were able to replace that too. The quality of work their employees do and their customer service is excellent and highly recommended. There is a reason they are called 5 star.

I live an apartment and Jeremy and Brian had to come out and fix some plumbing issue I had in my apartment. They had to find the issue and they did but making a hole in the floor. Okay that sounds crazy but I am the ground floor. They were funny and knew what they were doing. As a tenant here I had to think of staying or going somewhere else. Since I owned a house at one time. I learned a lot about what they were doing and was curious about it. So ask questions and they are more then happy to tell you what there doing. I want to thank them for helping me understand what was going on. Most people who rent apartments just want them to fix it and move on. But be curious and ask questions. No matter if your in a home of your own renting its still your home. :) Thank you guys for your help.

The customer service is 5 star. Dave is incredible to work with. I had an electrical issue with my air conditioner. He helped pay to have it fixed. Asked questions and then sent people to take care of the problem with in an hour. Polite, professional. Cleaned up completely after. Pricing was excellent. I got twice the appliance then any other quote, for very little extra money. I highly recommend this company.

I received a referral from a friend about 5 Star. My furnace went out a few days before Christmas, we were able to use it yet, but needed a new one as soon as possible. I spoke with Dave, the owner, he took my information, gave me an estimate, and scheduled it for this past Monday. Andy, Don and Jordan showed up before the 10 am appointment, installed my new furnace, and A/C condenser. The guys were professional and conscious of our concerns. System was up and running Monday afternoon!Highly recommend this team!

These guys were AWESOME!! From the first phone call, we could tell we were dealing with the right people. On time, courteous, clean, efficient, knowledgeable, and best of all reasonable pricing. We had another outfit out there that wanted an astronomical amount for furnace only! 5 STAR came in with a bid at about 65% of the other guys bid, and that was with A/C as well!! Very impressed! Fantastic work & even better than fantastic people to work with. David & his employees are wonderful! Very professional & extremely talented at their jobs. We were in a bind because our a/c went out during the hottest week of the year. Not only did they work us in as soon as possible, they also loaned us a portable a/c unit to help us through until they could get there. I would absolutely recommend them above all others & will definitely be calling on them again as we work on our remodel.

Had a REALLY bad plumbing issue. Not only were they able to send someone very quickly, the person they sent ALSO looked at my furnace and did a fantastic job on the plumbing issue. They were not pushy, but gave me options. I was PLEASANTLY surprised at the bill for the day and they gave me all my options and estimates quickly. Again, no pressure. I had to deal with my husbands dementia while dealing with the plumber/heating person... he was great! Thank you SO MUCH!

We just finished having an all new boiler system, split unit heating and air system, on demand hot water heater, and some plumbing work done by 5 Star. I had multiple bids done before we chose 5 Star......the bidding process for me was so hard because I felt like most of the companies I had in my home giving me a quote we’re more like used car salesmen, and then I had Dave from 5 Star in my home, he was very personable, straightforward and honest with all of my questions. Before Dave had even emailed me his quote I knew I would be having 5 Star doing the work at my home. Dave and Kati were great through the whole process and explained everything along the way, and all of the workers that contributed at my home were professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend 5 Star to anyone!!!

After we purchased our newly constructed home our boiler kept throwing codes and shutting off in the middle of the night, I woke up week after week to a cold shower. Dave and his team took a personal stake in solving our issues with the boiler. They came out time and time again to get us hot water. Technician Curtis spent countless hours assessing and phone calls with the manufacturer to get us up and running. We now have a perfectly operating boiler with zero error codes for the first time since purchasing the home. We cant thank them enough and would recommend them to anyone in need of service or installing new HVAC components.

As many other reviews said, this company IS honest! They came to our house an hour after we called, did only the work needed and gave us an honest assessment of our central AC. Their rates were very competitive and the tech was friendly and helpful. My husband and I have health issues and depend the AC. We had to have our entire central air unit replaced and the guys that came did an amazing job! They were very knowledgeable and kind, offering a few “extras” that they didn’t have to do! They were wonderful about explaining all of the work they did (including the extras that they didn’t HAVE to take care of but did). After they left, you’d have no idea they had been there, they were tidy, cleaned everything up, and even offered to take away any of our old things that were no longer needed. Both technicians that were here were extremely personable and kind to our dog and toddler who interrupted them at times. I highly recommend 5-star for any of your heating and air needs!

On memorial weekend of 2018 my air conditioning was leaking water through the ceiling of my downstairs neighbor in my townhouse. I’m a disabled vet with a heart condition and couldn’t find anybody to come out before Saturday night or Sunday. 5 star heard this, they sent a technician by the name of Curtiss to my home within 15 minutes. This technician worked on my AC for over an hour. I won’t go into the specifics on what they would except for payment but I can tell you this, after spending nearly 30 years as a tradesman myself, I have never encountered such incredible professionalism, compassion In my life. There’s still a chance that the pan in my AC is rusted out and will need replacing and if it does or whenever I need anything done on my air-conditioning, it will be through this company only! And I got a hold of the president of our association, our group of town houses and I’m submitting this story and my experience with Five star so that they will be the go to contractor for all of these town houses. Thank you five star, thank you!

Matt and his team are amazing! Back in December 2016 our furnace went out - just 6 months after we moved to the area. It also happened to be 2 months after our wedding and we didnt really have the reserve funds for a new furnace. Not only did 5 Star promptly (within 72 hours) get a new furnace installed for us, they willingly figured out a payment plan for us. Fast forward 4 years, we immediately went to them when we needed a new water heater. The water heater was installed in May 2020 and then started acting up the end of November 2020. Two different guys came out over the course of 5 days to figure out why the pilot light wouldnt stay lit. After their multiple trips and still not consistently having hot water, they simply decided to replace the water heater entirely.All of this is to just to say that 13/10 we would recommend 5 Star Plumbing Heating & Air. Everyone weve ever worked with has been professional, courteous, and willing to answer all of our questions and address any concerns we have. Not to mention prompt both in returning calls, scheduling appointments, and arriving for said appointments. Really cant stress enough how great this company is. We will 100% be calling them when its time to update our AC unit.

The customer service from 5 star plumbing and heating is absolutely amazing. 5 star installed my water heater/boiler and more recently my furnace. They always make my family a high priority. When the house became cold due to a failing furnace, Dave sent his crew immediatly to address the problem finding a carbon monoxide issue. He provided us with portable electric heaters until he could get the furnace ordered and installed the next day. Not only are they prompt but the crew are highly skilled and know their trade well. Curtis is by far one of the best technicians you will ever know. Their prices are fair and reasonable and they will be there when they tell you. I would highly recommend their service.
