My experience with Genesis was extremely positive from the beginning. Said was very patient with all my questions and concerns. He clearly explained the process, the different stages of prep work and final coating, the quality of products used, and the warranty. Financially it was a big project for me, but I felt that I could trust this company to deliver and back up their work. The two workers that actually did all the job were very professional, punctual and respectful of the property. They showed they cared about their work and they did a very good job. I am very happy about the final results. The exterior of my house looks great. David conducted a throughly final inspection to ensure that I was satisfied and there were no unresolved issues or surprises. Very happy customers, my wife and I are absolutely delighted to write this review and recommend Genesis Home Improvements SD. From the sale to the finish product was an awesome experience. The commitments made to us were fulfilled on time and with excellent workmanship. A few people I would like to thank for the excellent job done. The product delivery team lead by the project manager, Harocio, and his crew, Gustavo. I was so impressed with team Gustavo and the care they took at prepping my home before the Text Coat was applied. Harocio was involved in all of the major steps of the process. He involved us in inspecting and approving each process that went into applying the Text Coat. When finished Horacios team, Gustavo, cleaned the entire job site. This was no easy task as Gustavos team insured perfection of the finished job by insuring my solar system was covered, all my lights that I had installed around my home prior to the application were all put back in place and tested. Genesis Home Improvements just put a BEAUTIFUL roof on my home! It is PERFECT!From the sales team with Patrick, Joe the project manager, Gabriel who put the roof on so perfectly, to Jose and Danny who did all the finish work to make it PERFECT. I have worked with other contractors that were a nightmare! These guys are honest, detail oriented, very courteous, and left the job site cleaner than when they got here. EVERYTHING was well delineated in the contract and they did everything they promised when they promised.They will be doing more projects for me in the future.

James Guarin the Project Manager, Said Aguilar the Sales Dude, and Adrian and Martin the Texcote Technicians, all did an amazing job from start to finish. I highly recommend this company and this product. I am super stoked on how amazing my home looks and am looking forward to never having to paint again plus lower electricity/gas costs for heating and cooling. If you are needing to get your place painted, definitely consider Texcote and Genesis Home Improvements instead of latex paint. Tim, Christian and the whole Genesis team provided excellent and thorough service for our home improvement project. We contracted Genesis to power wash, complete stucco repair, and paint our home with the Cool Wall product. They guided us through each step and helped with ideas on color selection. We were happy with each phase of the project. Communication was prompt and polite. They wasted no time in getting started and worked each day until completion. When a few touch up areas were identified, the painting team returned and made sure each detail was completed. Our property was kept clean throughout the project and they were careful and frieldly with our two dogs. We highly recommend Genesis Home Improvement SD.

I have had a couple of projects done by Genesis. We had our whole house stuccoed and had the patio covering done. They did such an amazing job. Our neighbors have driven by and stop to tell us how beautiful our house looks and that it’s a night and day difference. The workers were all very kind and professional. Robert always made sure everything was clean after they left each day. They even finished the stucco ahead of schedule. Genesis really did do an amazing job and customer service was awesome. I had the pleasure of working with Jonny and Noor, who walked me through the details of the paint product for our full exterior repaint. While the sales pitch felt a bit high-pressure at times, I always felt heard and respected throughout the process.The crew at our house was friendly and did a great job keeping the site clean. Christian, our project manager, and Hector, the foreman, were both fantastic. Hector and his team were easy to work with, and any concerns I had during and after the project were addressed by Christian, whose understanding and approachable nature made the experience a lot less stressful overall.After the project was completed, we noticed a few spots that needed touch-ups. Within two weeks, we had a team out here to address them quickly and efficiently. Knowing that this company has a strong track record spanning over a decade gives us peace of mind for any future needs. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I’d recommend their services.

We had a five star experience across the board with each person we interacted with. Daniel Villasenor, our sales rep, spent an extraordinary amount of time explaining exactly what would be done, how much it would cost, and how long it would take. We had a three man crew at our home for a few days, Horacio, Manny and Rafael. Horacio was our project manager, and he was there to make sure everything was done properly, the colors we picked out were confirmed and walk-throughs. We had his cell phone anytime I needed to get a hold of him! Manny was in charge of doing all of the re-texturing and our house was a mess! He fixed everything and you can’t even see where he was blending! Raphael and his precision painting was phenomenal! Overall 5 star experience!

I contacted Genesis for assistance with purchasing touch up paint for my existing cool wall system. I spoke to Alan who informed me that the components for the cool wall system is only sold to licensed installer and not to consumers. He said they could give me an estimate for a whole house install but since my needs were only cosmetic, it may not be cost or time worthy. I appreciate the honesty of Alan and him not pressuring for an upscale. I will recommend Genesis to anyone seeking the variety of services they offer.

It started with the Sales team Bryan who introduced us to the Genesis products. Initially we wanted to paint the house, yet we decided to install windows first. Bryan discussed in detail the benefits Anlin windows would provide. We ordered 8, eight, windows. Our project manager Sebastion, communicated effectively keeping us informed on when the windows would be manufactured and ready for installation. On schedule the windows arrived and were professionally installed by Felipe. The care and quality that Felipe performed was incredible. Between the three teams Sales, Project Management and Installation they all were great ambassadors for Genesis Home improvement. I would recommend them to anyone considering them for windows, roofing or painting. As you can see in the photos, windows look amazing, a great improvement over the single pane ones that were replaced. Now the exterior painting needs to be done next.

My experience with Genesis was great. From the start of the project, Strider Dennis and Jonathan Brooks, explained the total process to be done on my house. All my questions were answered fully. Horatio Garcia, the project manager came by to check on the progress of the work and let me know any issues that needed to be done. Ernesto Via was a big help letting me know about any problems that needed attention. The painting and repairs was completed on the time line I was given. I am a very happy customer, and my house looks beautiful.

Horatio did a great job of supervising the project, while Abraham did most of the work. Abraham paid a lot of attention to detail and displayed meticulous workmanship. While two other workers provided support, Abraham often re-taped prior to painting when others didnt meet with his standards. Abraham and his apprentice worker stripped off the 15-year old Rhino Shield, which didnt breathe allowing moisture rot and some termite damage. A lot of wood siding and trim were replaced, as shown in the attached photos. Horatio did a fine job of overseeing the project to insure that all areas needing repair were fixed. We are extremely satisfied with the Tex-Cote and the completed job.

In June we contracted with Genesis to repaint our home’s exterior with the TexCote lifetime coating. With only a couple of weeks left before a scheduled July 4th pool party in our back yard, Tim (our Genesis rep) assured us they would finish the job in time for the party.Over the next days, the crew worked hard to prep and prime the house… then the work came to a halt, while we waited for the coating to arrive from the manufacturer. I’ll admit, by this time we were getting nervous, and making contingency plans for how we might have the party with the house half painted and covered in plastic sheeting and masking tape.After a three day delay, the paint finally arrived, on the afternoon of July 2nd. Genesis immediately swung into action, and a crew of five people worked together like a well oiled machine for the next day and a half, and our house was completely painted by the end of the day on July 3rd. The party was a success, and many of our guests commented on how beautiful the new paint job looked. Genesis did an excellent job, in terms of workmanship, teamwork, project management, and communication with the client. We couldn’t be happier with this experience and would recommend Genesis to neighbors, friends and family.

I bought a 1937 Spanish casita nearly 15 years ago. Over time, the stucco developed a lot of cracks, even falling off in spots. I wanted to get it repaired before the rainy season, fearing moisture might damage the framing. Genesis came up with a competitive (not cheap, but very competitive) price for TexCote/Coolwall, which promotes itself as never re-stucco or repaint again! Genesis was not high pressure. Their crew was professional, careful and friendly, and finished my job sooner than estimated. I am very pleased with the results, and I hope the product will live up to its lifetime guarantee! I heartily recommend Genesis. FYI, my next project is water-wise landscaping for my naked front yard!

Genesis just completed tex-coting my house exterior. My house is stucco so it needed significant stucco repair. Top marks to the crew and their work. The job was completed efficiently and in a timely fashion. The crew were real artists. Every aspect of their work was first-rate. The Tex-cote colors are deep and way better than any latex paint. My only criticisms is the unacceptable hard sell. The initial bid came with a discount that was only available if I signed immediately. Fortunately CA has a 3 day right to cancel so I decided to sign knowing I could cancel. Still the sales pitch was marked by over the top pressure. After the job was complete I got a high pressure, unprofessional phone solicitation for additional work. The caller would not relent and I had to insist they stop and go away.Why the company does this when they have a great product and very competitive pricing is beyond me. Unfortunately this aspect of the company makes it impossible for me to recommend Genesis to my friends as I do not want to be associated with their sales techniques.

Very professional and respectful. We got off to a rocky start since they require both adults who live in the home to be around before they will giving a quote which was incredibly frusterating. There seems to be a little bit of a disconnect between sales and project management. We were originally told that the material would not work on our existing aluminum patio awning structure, but once the project started we were informed that the material changed about a year ago, so they could paint over the metal structure. Adding that to the project and the costs after the fact was a little annoying, but the project manager was great and accomodating. Other than that the painting team was wonderful and had great attention to detail. Any mistake or peeling, no matter how small, the project manager made was corrected. Again, overall good experience.

Had my roof done by Genesis about 1 year ago, and then decided to get my house painted by the same company. The salesman Lorenzo was very informative and a pleasure to work with. He helped with the credit application process and was able to get me a good deal along with a manageable payment. Dave Scott was the project manager for the job. He was very patient with me while I picked the color for the house. The crew that worked the job took great care of the items around the house. They moved or covered them to keep them from getting sprayed. When the job was complete we did a walk around to inspect the work. Had a couple of touch ups which were corrected. In all Genesis was a very good company to work with. I would highly recommend them for any home improvement project.

Joe, the project manager, was professional and extremely thorough. He came through and measured my windows several times to make sure that all was as it should be before the new windows were ordered. The two gents that came to install the windows came in and got right down to business. They cut down the bars and took the ratty windows, along with the bars away. Tony, the installer on the job, came in with his partner and right away tackled the job of replacing the windows that I swear Methuselah himself installed decades ago. If ever I need any other work done that Genesis covers I will most definetly call them first. They are a hardworking company with workers that are extremely knowledgeable and very efficient. It was by accident I found Genesis. I was looking for a painting contractor because I do not have the luxury of time as do most now days. The responded quickly to the request for quote. They accommodated my availability for a meet with their sales representative. Leo Ramirez came with the latest tech and gave an expressive presentation of the product, how it worked and made the negotiating on cost painless. Very comparable to others but their quality and guarantee from the OEM far outweighs the cost and it comes with an unquestionable quality material. Enter the Project Manager and Team. They are obviously very experienced and masters of their trade. They followed the process and worked multiple task in lateral so no time was wasted. As a retired Marine I understand and know teams. These guys are the constantly communicates so your questions are always answered. The Project Manager always drops by and/or communicates to keep you informed. It is a very cohesive team all together from start to finish. It takes a lot for me or us to be impressed but the work ethic, quality and communication is note worthy. I have never when dealing with contractors seen such the work ethic these guys displayed. Hardest working and dedicated team I have witnessed. The end item says it all. You want to see, take a look. We could not be more enthusiastic about the outcome and finished product!

The only short delay was caused by running out of paint. The construction crew was extremely capable and highly skilled. The salesman who priced the job visited several times to check on progress and my satisfaction. The job was finished on schedule.The only thing I cannot comment on was the price: I know nothing of such things. It seemed expensive, but that is the opinion of a miser.At the end of the job, I was very satisfied and pleased. My house had been in the most disrepair in the neighborhood. Now it looks brand new.

The company was very up front on products and costs and how paintng our house would help it stay beautiful forever.The workmen were prompt, polite and worked very hard. They cleaned up after themselves. The manager checked in regularly and did a final walk around to be sure everything was done right.We are very happy with what they did. The house looks beautiful! I would hire them again anytime.

I recently had two projects done by Genesis Home Improvement. I had profound termite damage to a wooden pergola patio cover and to a wooden French door. They replaced both using very high quality vinyl. The pergola looks like real wood and the additional lattice will provide additional coverage yet still let the sun in. The French door is beautiful and no more swelling with moisture and best of all no more termite food! The craftsmen that did each project were very professional, friendly and answered all my questions. When they left there was no debris left behind. Though the cost was not inexpensive it was very fair for the quality of the materials and the workmanship. I would highly recommend them for home improvement projects.
