It has been a joy to complete the project with Joey, the contractor. I vividly remember our very first meeting, where he explained the project in detail—what it would involve, how it would unfold, and how it would ultimately be completed. Throughout our interactions, Joey was confident and provided invaluable guidance. He mentioned that he works with passion, not for money, and I can attest to that. I have extremely high standards, and the project required careful attention to detail at every corner.We faced several challenges along the way, including incorporating new designs and materials, but Joey handled everything flawlessly. He is undoubtedly the best contractor in San Diego. I’ve worked with several contractors before, but none can compare to Joey. He delivers exceptional work at a reasonable price, always putting the customer first.If you’re planning to bring your dream home to life, Joey is the right person for the job. I am incredibly grateful he took on my project, and the results are truly stunning—like something out of an architectural book.

We selected Joey and the CRAFT Home Remodeling team after interviewing 4-5 different contractors for our remodeling project which included a complete reconfiguration and remodel of our master and guest bathroom, a refresh of our kitchen and fireplace, and various other pieces around the house. This was our first remodel, so we were looking for a contractor to help guide us through the process at a reasonable price. Joey was a great combination of professional, personable, and reliable that also had a good eye for design. While we did have a designer help with planning, Joey also helped us independently select our guest bath materials. We were also expecting our first child so we had a very strict deadline to adhere to. Joey and his team met our expectations and more at every step of the way and really cares about his clients. They understand this is a big undertaking for a new home owner and was very responsive to my many inquiries and questions.The results of the project speak for themselves. Joeys entire team was very professional and did a great job with each project. The tile work in our bathrooms and kitchen was installed very well, along with the fixtures, vanity and other appliances. As we we moved out during the process, Joey uploaded progress photos every few days so we could keep a close eye on how things were progressing. We were impressed at how quickly the team worked while not sacrificing quality to meet our deadline for being complete before the birth of our child.What separates Joey and the team from other contractors was his communication and willingness to accommodate changes as we saw the project come together. We also checked in a few times and noticed a few small things that needed to be fixed or changed. Joey and his team were quick to remedy anything we saw that needed a fix. Overall we highly recommend Joey and his team if youre looking for a contractor with exceptional communication skills and a caring personality with an eye for design and what makes sense and is feasible. We will definitely be reaching back out to Joey for other projects in the future.

They truly outdid themselves with our European-style kitchen.Joey, the owner and Shelly the designer were exceptional throughout the entire process.The design phase was impressive; Shellys creativity and attention to detail were evident in the 3D renderings she provided. The way she brought our vision to life was incredible. Her choice of black cabinets and brass hardware perfectly encapsulated the European aesthetic we desired.During the construction phase, Joeys leadership ensured everything ran smoothly. The teams dedication was outstanding. They paid meticulous attention to every detail, going over any questions my wife and I had .The kitchen remodel took approximately 8 weeks and Joey prepared us for 10 so that was great as well.Youre so anxious about doing a kitchen remodel it took us 10 years to finally pull the trigger and Im so happy we were referred to them by a friend from work.

Everything was neatly cleaned up after a days work. We did a complete remodel on our kitchen, breakfast room, family, room, and guest bathroom, in addition to the majority of the flooring and painting of our downstairs. Joey and his team did a great job on a full home remodel. I serendipitously had Joey referred to me for this project. Joey helped walk me through the entire project from start to finish and explained every step of the process in detail. Not only was this my first remodel project, it was a large project that involved updating the entire home and was also more complicated in that I was out of state and so was the designer.Joey always made time to answer questions throughout the process and set up conference calls or facetime videos, and sent texts and videos of the progress.I am so pleased with the whole project, and especially the beautiful, modernized kitchen and bathrooms, as well as the front porch with an updated walkway to the façade that has been updated with new bricks, lighting, and paint. It’s hard to believe that this is the same house from where it started.It was also especially nice that Joey helped out with other big projects that were needed outside of the home by helping to refer and oversee work done by a landscaper, the building of a new fence, and the installment of handrails. I don’t know what I would have done without his help facilitating these projects, and he went above and beyond to offer to help with this. The updates to the outside of the house now complement all of the beautiful work that Joey and his team did to the house. I hope we have the opportunity to work on another project in the future.
