The power went out in our master bedroom and Taylor Criner came out and helped diagnose the issue and gave us a few different paths on how to fix it. My dad (who worked as a general contractor for almost 40 years) and my grandfather (a general contractor for around 60 years) own their own company. They handled most of the house and business building projects on their own with a crew, even they weren’t as big of help as Taylor was. He was also just an overall cool guy. We were very happy with Central electric!

Listen. If you are looking for a great electrician who will be there when they say they will, be respectful, and do an amazing job, this is the company to use. We have used them for every job and have continued to use them even when we move. I’ve even gotten other bids from other companies and compared them. Price is about the same, but expertise is second to none. I had another company tell me they would have to tear up my ceiling. Mike came out, took one look at it, and said no way. They could do it without being so intrusive. I am a customer for life. You guys rock!

I had a great experience using Central Electric to install an EV charger in my garage. The electrician, Mike, was on time, friendly and did a great job installing the charger. He took the time to make sure it was mounted correctly and did a very clear installation. When we had an issue, he was able to trouble shoot it and resolve it while we were waiting on a response from the manufacturer. They also offered a very competitive price. I will be sure to use them again when I need an electrician.

Was looking for an Electrician to install an EV charging station at my home. After contacting many on the list and receiving either a very high quoted estimate or a request for $55 to provide a quote I finally called Central Electric and scheduled an appointment for Mike to come out and give me a bid. He showed up during the scheduled time and was very knowledgeable and was able to help guide me in what was needed. His quote was significantly less then the over the phone quotes.I scheduled an appointment for the next week but asked if they could let me know if they had a cancellation and could fit me in sooner. They called the next day and were able to get me in that afternoon.Neil came out and did the installation. Did a professional job and was able to get it done in a reasonable amount of time. The next day when I first plugged in my vehicle it caused the breaker to break and would not charge the car. I called that afternoon and they immediately requested Neil come back out. He came out after his last call and replaced what was a bad breaker. Its not that the solution didnt work the first time its how they fix the problem. They came out the same day and replaced the bad breaker getting me up and going in the same day. This is good customer service.I would recommend them for any EV charging installation and more.

Happy Birthday to me! We had an old breaker trip and wouldnt turn back on this morning... I was in a panic, today is my birthday and after spending an hour calling every electrician on Google (even the after hours services werent answering or saying they wont be available until Monday) I gave central electric a call in a last ditch effort to find someone to fix it so I could move on with my day.They were up front about after hours emergency prices (which were fair and comparable to other emergency electricians) and James was out within an hour to get it fixed and got it repaired in less than five minutes.He took the time for us to recreate the scenario (vacuum being plugged in) to ensure there werent any other issues and explained the warranties.Im thankful they could come out and get it repaired so quickly. I will definitely use them again in the future.. Just, hopefully on a more planned timeframe.

I was calling around for Bids for a Tesla Wall Connector. Central Electric was the only Tesla certified installer that would come to the house to Bid. The others asked questions then proceeded to quote me a huge amount of money for an otherwise small job. Mike came out and gave me a fair Bid seeing it didnt require a lot of hours, he was personable and just a cool guy. James came out a week later to install. James was professional and courteous. He went the extra mile to make sure the whole install looked clean. These guys are awesome, so much so I felt they deserved for me to take some time and post it here. Thank you Mike and James, you two are awesome and have won this customer over for future work.

We were so lucky to call this company!On New Years Day, we lost power partially, and called Central Electric. They answered quickly, and we were connected with on-call technician, Taylor. He was able to easily answer all our questions, and helped to fix the problem. Taylor was super professional and knowledgeable and helped diagnose the issue immediately. I would work with Central Electric and Taylor again!

The aerator in my backyard goldfish pond stopped working. I checked the circuit breaker, but it had not been tripped. I called Central Electric because I had used them on previous occasions for other problems. Ray Gilles came out, immediately diagnosed the problem: a GFI switch had tripped! He reset it and, voila! It worked! My 8 goldfish got a reprieve! But here’s the truly amazing part...when I took out my credit card to pay for his service, he waived the fee!!! True, he diagnosed and fixed the problem with unprecedented efficiency, but how many companies would have done that? Unheard of in this day and age!! Truly an excellent company! Thank you!

Had them come and do an install and they messed it up. So why 5 stars? When I called them on it, the owner immediately took responsibility and personally came over to my house to address it. He refunded the cost and then personally re-did the install within 24 hours. He didn’t make any excuses, just owned the mistake and honestly solved the problem. Screw-ups happen, but this guy handled it like a boss instead of trying to shift blame. They earned my future business, despite the initial problem.

My mother in law was having flickering in lights and we could hear crackling in panel. Gentleman came out in a snow storm, on a holiday weekend, kept us informed on how close he was.
