Sheer Craft creatively designed and built a custom stairway that floats elegantly up to a loft in a small historic building on my farm. They were delighted to use rough-hewn white oak from the property that they planed and shaped to the project. Soon after they made precise laser measurements of the space, I was given three designs to choose from. Details included painting the hardware and finishing the wood in boat juice a custom recipe of oils and pine tar that brought out the unique grain of the quarter-sawn treads. It is a treasure. They communicated well, stayed within their estimate, worked efficiently and left everything tidy. -

The Sheer Craft team constructed railings for the front and back entrances to our 1890s era home, replacing deteriorating railings of mixed height with solid, uniform railings that are angled to shed water, a detail we wouldnt have thought of. The teams attention to detail, use of high quality wood and overall craftsmanship were exemplary. They are deeply knowledgable, thorough, and super pleasant to interact with. Wed recommend their work to anyone without hesitation.
