We partnered with Kern Company for a full kitchen remodel (new cabinets, appliances, lighting, countertops), installation of luxury vinyl planking on our main floor, and updates to our half bathroom. The process and the finished work exceeded our expectations. They were transparent, communicative, and the work was high quality and completed on time and on budget. They coordinated all contractor work and city inspections, which made it easy for us as the homeowners. I recommend work with Kern Company for any home remodels!

Kerry and his sons, Korey and Kelley, were absolutely amazing for our house construction. I would recommend them for any work, no matter the skill set. Their professionalism and detail work was some of the best I’ve seen.I had peace of mind the entire time of our project just knowing the work they were doing.They foresaw any questions ahead of time and were ready to address any concerns. True craftsman of their work from framing to interior.

Kerry, Kelley, and Korey do excellent work. Super attention to detail and high-quality on the big stuff. I wanted a staircase moved in my little 1960s rambler to open it up. Friends looked at me like I was insane when I’d tell them my plan, but Kerry didn’t bat an eye and took all the necessary steps with a structural engineer and turned around a bid quickly. I didn’t add any square footage, but it feels so big. Plenty of room for three teenagers and all their friends to hang out in the same space. It was tough living in the garage all summer, but so very worth it. I got a new house and didn’t have to move.Photos show some after and before.

Kern company has been great to work with from start to finish with our remodel. Not only did they frame our entire remodel, but also came back to help with some finishing work in a timely fashion. They were quick to respond, gave suggestions when we were left clueless how to do things, and completed work very quickly. I recommend them highly for any construction needs! Everything looks and feels very professional!

Kern Company replaced our small cedar deck with a new, larger composite deck. They did a fantastic job on the project in all aspects. The workmanship was outstanding, they completed the project in the timeframe they promised, and they are nice guys too! We couldn’t be happier with our new deck! We highly recommend them for any/all home improvement projects.

I moved and have had Kern Company do 3 jobs for me. 2 of the jobs were updates on my old and new home. The third job was a 3 season porch addition on my new home. I hope it goes without saying that I wouldnt have asked them to do the addition if I hadnt been happy with their prior work. Putting an addition on a house as a single woman is a bit daunting. The Kerns attention to detail and quality of workmanship is exceptional...they never cut corners. Corey and Kelley seemed very cognizant of my situation as a single woman and went out of their way to correct things they noticed that were not necessarily part of the job. Part of the outside work can not be finished until spring; but, the inside is beautiful and I am so happy with the way the addition complements my quaint 1930s Cape Cod. You couldnt meet a nicer family than the Kerns...they are so easy to work with and their work is exemplary. I am so happy I had them do my project and couldnt recommend them more highly!

I highly recommend Kern Company for their quality of work, high standards, attention to detail, and competitive pricing.Ive had the pleasure of working with Kerry at Kern Company over the years on various projects, including a basement remodel, garage remodel, and more recently, a full house remodel, which included adding a second story with four bedrooms and a bath. Their attention to detail is second to none. Their honesty and focus on the timeline were outstanding. It should be noted as well that during the full house remodel Kerry came up with some cost savings ideas and one specific idea on how to better conceal the laundry chute, which we wound up implementing.Without hesitation, I would recommend Kern Construction to anyone who is looking at remodels, expansion, or even a new build out.

Kern Company did a great job repairing storm damage to a detached storage building. They were easy to work with and listened to our input. They did what they said they would do and left the worksite better than they found it. We have used them in the past and will continue to do so.

We love our porch! The whole process was great and the Kern Company was excellent to work with. They communicated throughout the process.
