    I waited a long time to find out why when I opened the inside valve water gushed down the inside wall and not to the outside faucet. I suspected a burst pipe which was the fault of the previous owners had not shut off the water properly. It requires leaving the outside open and shutting the inside closed. Simply turn it off at the outside faucet leaving water in the line. This is recipe for disaster in Minnesota.Within three days Christian was out and found two areas with burst pipe in the line. He corrected the problem changed the slope. Even showed me where the bleed valve on the inside shut was to further evacuate water during the winter shutdown. Professional. I could not be happier with the results.I took the recommended steps a layer of insulation behind the pipe and one in front. I Installed new sheet rock

    Aaron replaced our garbage disposal today. Everything went well. He was friendly and knows his plumbing very well. While there he was able to tighten a loose nut on a drain that had a slow leak. I feel very comfortable working with all the folks at B&D. The service manager Eric has also been great to work with.

    Isaak from B & D plumbing is the best plumber we’ve ever found! We had some weird clunking in our basement from a pipe that was rubbing on our framing and Isaak was the only one willing to investigate it. And he figured it out! He completed the work in a timely fashion, and cleaned up really well after cutting a small hole in our closet and cutting out a piece of 2 x 4 that was causing the clunking. He was courteous, answered my questions without judgement, and came with an apprentice who helped so I didn’t have to run up and down the stairs to turn the water on. You’d think anyone coming into your home to do a job should be like this, but they are not! These two were both fantastic!I truly can’t say enough great things about this company. They followed up after their first diagnostic visit to make sure that we had the cartridge we needed for our shower and then they scheduled the second service call. I didn’t have to reach out to them! Amazing service all around. Showed up on time and got the job done! They are now saved in my phone as “my plumber.”

    Knowledgeable, efficient, and didnt try to upsell me a new mini split unit when my original could be easily fixed the way the previous company tried.Update - I had an anode rod on my water heater I couldnt get out and B&D showed up the same day, the day after Christmas, and completed the job in under 20 minutes. Im always impressed with how knowledgeable their technicians are and how easy their staff is to work with.Truly a great company to work with for any HVAC or plumbing needs.

    B&D are amazing. As a member of the US Army, I cant stress enough how great it is they actually provide a substantial military discount on top of other promotions. Unlike the 7ish other plumbing companies in the Ham Lake area I tried, they are the only ones that seem to care about the customer and not just the standard rates. If you are in the military (or not), absolutely give B&D a call.

    Its not every day I write a review where I get to say that someone literally saved us $10,000, but today appears to be that day.Back story: Our nearly 20 year old AC quit blowing cold air last weekend. Husband and I called several companies to give us an estimate on repair and/or replacement. We were prepared for the worst, but certainly not looking forward to the bill.Three of four companies we called didnt even bother looking at our unit- they instead immediately decided that the AC wasnt worth fixing due to age, and started pressuring us into purchasing a new central air system. Once they found out that our furnace was the same age, we started getting pressured into replacing both the furnace and the AC. The best quote we got any of them was around $13,000 to replace both, and we were subjected to a lot of high-pressure sales tactics that left a pretty rotten taste in our mouths. (Schedule today, well knock off $1500! DO IT! You wont see a better deal than this!)Thankfully, we also had B&D come out and take a look. Unlike the other companies, they didnt send a salesman- they sent an actual technician. The technician, Eli, arrived (well within the scheduled window, I might add!), prepared the quotes, but also took a look at the AC. Actually look a look at it. Friends, he fixed it. He had it blowing cold air in about 15 minutes. And he showed us how to fix the annoying rattle too. In under an hour and for less than $350, our dinosaur of an AC was back in business, at least for the rest of the summer.On top of that, B&Ds quote for a new system included options that were not as fancy as the other companies but would be more than sufficient for our needs, significantly better than what we have, and several thousand dollars cheaper than the options that other companies offered. Without even a HINT of high-pressue sales.Long story short- if you run into a bind like we did, are trying to decide between replace or repair, CALL THESE GUYS. If its fixable, theyll fix it and not argue with you, and youll get a much better range of options if indeed you do need a replacement.Thank you!!!!!

    This is the best plumbing company Ive worked with and they will be who I use going forward. They are prompt, communicative, thorough and friendly. Often contractors are hard to work with, but B&D is easy. They even came back and corrected something that was a purely aesthetic ask from me without complaint. The guys we had were wonderful and you can tell high integrity professionals. They also guarantee their work and will fix if anything is amiss. And, then I got a call the next day to ensure everything was to my liking. There are so many bad contractors, but B&D is truly great.

    I appreciate this team so much. I have had nothing but positive experiences with them. When another plumbing company did not install our kitchen drain to code and B&D came to install our dishwasher, they also cleaned up the mess the previous company had left for us as part of our install. We’ve had them out to service our boiler system as well as install our oven and replumb our basement sink so that the washing machine had its own drain pipe, not hooked over the sink. All of the work has been beautifully and professionally done.In our most recent visit, they had to re-do a system of pipes that previous home owners had installed under the ceiling and then covered with a lower ceiling. What a mess. (Old OLD house.) They were able to install it in a way that allowed us to bring the ceiling back up and I gained about a foot of ceiling height in my kitchen.Every technician that has been to my home has been professional and thorough. They are gracious about our old home and are still able to complete the work quickly, to code and without complaint.After our oven was installed and still not heating they sent a technician out the next day to check gas pressure and ensure all was right on the install side. Ended up needing an appliance repair from the manufacturer. But their response time has been amazing and I’m thrilled at how willing they are to work with you and get your problems handled quickly.I cannot say enough good things about B&D. They do it right.

    Sewer backed up on a Sunday in December. I was on the phone for 2.5 hours calling all plumbers anywhere in this end of the area and the only one that would come out on Sunday was B&D Plumbing. At my age we cannot go any length of time without our bathroom and made many trips to a restroom in town. Yes, they are a bit overpriced but they gave me some coupons to use which helped me a lot AND on a Sunday! They had their sister company come out from a neighboring city and the guy that came was Mo and he was wonderful and kept us apprised of everything he was doing and told us how to keep out sewer drain cleaner from grease build-up. I was very happy by 5:30 p.m. THANK YOU Mo and B&D Plumbing.

    These guys made my day!! My water heater went out yesterday and I was not able to relight. I had Roto Rooter come out initially, who quoted me $3200 for a new water heater and did not offer a repair option (when I inquired if there was a cheaper/alternate option as I was not anticipating or prepared for a $3200 bill)I called B&D who sent Service Technician Aaron Jacobsen out the same day- within hours. They were wonderful and extremely professional, and ended up repairing the water heater for $360!!!!!10/10 recommend!!!!! Definitely will be using B&D for all my plumbing and HVAC needs in the future. Thank you guys so much!

    B and D Plumbing is a reliable, prompt, and local plumbing and heating company in Wright County. Honestly, we have hired them for multiple jobs at our home, including when the home was first built. The photo below is my new bathtub room. These new soaker tubs and their plumbing are quite complicated, and I wouldnt have trusted anyone else to plumb it in and balance it. I am thankful for such a great company that is local.

    May 2023: B&D replaced our 16 year old garbage disposal which had started leaking and was beyond repair. Professional young men came out the next day and did a super job. Once again I recommend this business.needed to replace 16 year old water heater. Made call, came out the next day diagnosed the issue, said they could repair the old one for $$$$ or put in a new one for $$$. We went with the new one, it was here and installed within two hours. No mess, all cleaned up and old hot water hauled away. Professional, friendly efficient service men. Also made us aware of a rebate and helped us get that too. Will use them again! Melinda and Craig in rogers12/29/22 Once again B&D came through for us. Made it out the same day. Dan their service tech zeroed right in on the issue with the furnace and we are good to go.     Heating went out overnight and temperatures outside were well into the negatives. The inside of the house was definitely getting very cold! Called right when B&D opened and told them my problem. They were able to schedule a technician to come out and I was very grateful. About 30 minutes after scheduling the appointment, I got a call back saying they had an earlier availability and asked if I would prefer that. Talk about service!     I emailed B&D over the weekend to schedule a kitchen faucet and shut off valve replacement. They would have been out Monday (!) but I couldnt make that work, so they came out today, Tuesday, right away in the morning. Aaron was awesome, pleasant to talk to, very laid back and absolutely a rockstar at his job--from the time I was told he was on the way to the job being totally DONE was LESS than two hours! About half of that was just him traveling to our house (a bit far from them, so totally expected). Weve had their help in the past and will call them for any future needs as well.     It is now officially cold (-3F at the time of this posting and very cold for several days already), yet warm in our house! Ive waited about 8 months to post about how thrilled I am with D&B! I have a 2 story house with a finished basement, this past early spring, we had a boiler leak somewhere in our basement zone (below the foundation). Knowing the extent of the work needed, I explored converting our house (which previously had no ducting) to a forced air system (so that we also could also have central air). D&B quoted a reasonable price for the ducting install, a/c install, and furnace install (we also added a new hot water heater). I was very worried about the amount of work that I may have following this big change, since I had 3 kids under 5 and a baby due in 3 months. Kent and Michael spent a full day planning the system and considered the finishing work that would be needed. Michael worked extremely hard with others in the following days. The system was installed with minimal finishing work needed (On our main and upper level, only the interior of 2 closets needed refinishing and no ceiling work was needed, in the basement the ceiling work was minimized) The cooling this summer was fantastic throughout the entire house, and with the really cold temperatures, I can now say the heating is fantastic throughout the entire house!! I highly recommend D&B!! Especially Michael!!! This is my only Google review to date, but I find it necessary to recommend D&B, again especially Michael and his very hard work and Kent for his design and experience!

    We are thankful that Isaak was able to repair and complete the installation of our new water softener. (Our DIY attempt was a failure.) B&D sent someone out the same day and finished the repair in less than 2 hours. We had to pay extra for after-hours service, but it was well worth it.We will undoubtedly use their services again if the need arises.

    I was checking on my in-laws place on a Friday afternoon on a town home in Rogers (not even 2yrs old,) before I left I had noticed the main water line check valve that feeds the fire sprinkler system, the housing of the valve cracked & started making a mess. I knew who to call right then & there (B&D plumbing) they were able to come in & replace it that day fortunately & these techs (Jackson) are top notch & professional.Id never hesitate to bring them in when a pro is needed.

    B&D Plumbing, Heating & A/C were out today to fix and unclog a toilet. They were great very kind, considerate and knowledgeable. They took their time and were very patient with me as I was having trouble deciding on having one other item fixed. He emailed me a quote and let me know it was no problem... both guys did a great job. Also I called the day before and they came right away the next day it was great. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars (and I had a hard time with this) was the price everything else was wonderful.

    B&D is an amazing company. Ive been a loyal customer with B&D for the past four years for all of our heating, plumbing and AC needs. Over the years, weve replaced each of our units and have always received stellar service. Today was no different. When my water heater stopped functioning I was able to call their after hours service center (Beverly is ALWAYS amazing). I had the option to get after hours support or I could wait until the following day. I decided to wait until the following day and was the next morning I received a call that Keith was available earlier if I was available! Keith came and helped walk me through the process and the issues that the water heater was happening and got it all fixed!     Isaak was great! He came out a couple weeks ago and told us our water heater needed to be replaced. He didn’t put any pressure on us to make any same-day decisions. I called to make an appointment to get it replaced, after making my appointment I got a call saying Isaak was going to come out the same day I called because he knew the severity of our situation. I will definitely be using B&D again!

    Plumbing:TJ Huber was fabulous as he localized a bathroom leak to a 70 year old toilet that was completely mortared in place. There was no wax ring - just mortar, and even the hold down bolts were mortared in. The toilet weighed a ton and the bathroom is small, but he was able to get it out and replace it with a new toilet. The workmanship on the new installation was very professional and impressive given the old ceramic tile flooring. The charge for the removal and then installation was very reasonable given the amount of work involved.A/C System:Austin was very knowledgeable and professional. He explained what he was doing and why, got the A/C system working properly, and made sure that unit was properly cleaned. There is a slow, small leak and he added some dye so that in a month he will be able to to find and fix it.

About 45 minutes later, to my surprise, I received a call asking if I still needed a plumber same-day. One of the plumbers schedules opened up and they were able to get me on the list for same-day service! My afternoon working from home wasnt wasted after all.     Our furnace stopped working over night. Called a few places and the receptionist at B&D were helpful. Hayden came out and took a look at our furnace and laid out all of the options. He went through the furnace and said what would have to be replaced soon. Ended up being more problems than anticipated. All options were provided and we decided to get a new furnace after letting him know if the rest of the problems weve been having. I would highly recommend B&D for their services.

    We had a very slow plumbing leak in what seemed like an impossible location to get to. Jackson was really clever in finding a way to discover it, with some use of a heating vent removal and is phone to peak in there an take a picture to show me.     Wayne and Jackson did an awesome job (and faster than expected) putting in our new tankless water heater. Unfortunately I couldnt find another company in the short of time that would install one so I didnt have anything to compare for price. Google search I feel like we had a fair price. Wayne was very helpful in all my 100 and 1 questions with our new home. He gave me a bunch of quotes for all sorts of things. I decided to try out another company to install our water softener since were new to area. They were similar pricing. When I call a plumber again, Id definitely request Wayne and Jackson.The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was because I felt other prices for things were quite high. $300 for valve change (got it done for $100) and fix a leaking toilet for over $800. Eek! Im not a plumber though so sometimes you have to bite the bullet for quality work.They have a good credit system in place for higher priced jobs. The people in the office were friendly and helpful, however someone was supposed to call me back, but never did. Not a perfect company, but Id call them again.

    Cant say enough good things about B& D Plumbing. On Saturday, April 2, the IntelliValve on our hot water heater stopped working. I contacted B&D by phone. Very courteous and helpful in getting a technician assigned to come out later that day. Nick arrived and promptly confirmed the problem, however he did not have the part on his truck. He spoke with one of his colleagues, but couldnt confirm if the part was at the shop. Nick went to the shop himself to search for the part. He called me and said he was on his way back to my house with the part. If not for Nicks extra effort, we would have had to wait until Monday afternoon to order and install the part and we would have been without hot water for 2 more days. Thanks Nick and B&D for your commitment to customer satisfaction!

    We used B&D Plumbing when we lived in Rogers and always had a great experience. We have recently moved to Plymouth and today noticed a leaking pipe. I called B&D and they were out within an hour. As expected great friendly and professional service!

    My furnace went out on a cold night. It made sense to replace the furnace in lieu of repair (Vaughn helped me determine the best course of action - thanks to him) so B&D borrowed me space heaters until Kent could come out and replace the furnace - nice touch! Kent and the team do great work and I appreciate the detail and advice Kent provided. I will use B&D again.

    We were introduced to B&D Plumbing by Steve Dahl of Steve Dahl Construction. The first time we had B&D to our home, we required an extensive replacement of our sump and connected drain. The professionals who conducted the work were incredible, fast, experienced and conducted a quality repair. Our most recent experience was with Service Technician Barron Cate. We had contacted B&D for a non-emergency install of a 50 gallon hot water heater as ours was starting to leak. We called B&D to leave a message on the weekend and by Monday morning we had been contacted and they arranged an install that afternoon. Barron brought a commercial grade AO Smith unit with him in anticipation of our needs and it was perfect. The install was fast and beautifully completed. We will continue to use B&D to help us keep our old but special house operating. Thanks B&D.

    The water supplies (both hot and cold) froze during the deep freeze (1/29-1/31). Once water started flowing, we discovered the pipes had also burst. We reached out to B&D 2/1 AM and it is 1:30 and the pipes have been repaired already! That is fast service. Our service technician, Barron, was friendly and and answered any and all questions we had. We would definitely recommend B&D.

    I am very impressed with B & D. This was our first experience with B & D after trying some other companies in the area. Adam was very pleasent and knowledgeable giving us a quote for a PureAir and AprilAire system which was exactly what they charged. Kent did a first class install. They were both right on time and got the job done quickly. We have been in the area for seven years now and have been looking for a HVAC and plumbing company to rely on.     Austin just left our home. 24 hours ago in subzero temperatures, our furnace fan stopped working. We called this morning and later this afternoon we had service (and most importantly heat)! Austin was courteous and informative. After his repair and while he was waiting to ensure all was working as expected, he helped answer questions on our air exchanger, humidifier, etc... Awesome guy and very helpful! B&D is our go to for all HVAC needs. Thank you!!

    First, BD Plumbing arrived early and was waiting for me to arrive at our rental property to fix our boiler system. The day prior, Center Point Energy gave us a 6 hour window, so my husband took the day off from work. Then he waited fours hours to only get a phone call from Center Piont Energy that they do not work on boiler systems. Go figure!Secondly, Nick and John of BD plumbing identified the problem right away. Both had calm confidences and were very knowledgeable when fixing the problem which gave us ease of mind that the problem was being fixed appropriately.Thirdly, they explained every problem and fix clearly to me then to my husband by phone as the situation unfolded.Lastly, not only did they fix the problem appropriately, but always seemed to be looking out for our best interest in regards to our budget. They were very fair with their pricing. Even though, I had never met the men, I felt like they treated us almost like long time friends. They even called later to make sure everything was working appropriately.
