Jamie let me know what steps needed to be done to replace the clothes dryer electric cord, and the clothes dryer electric box. He assured me there was no damage to the main electrical system. He replaced the box and added a shorter electrical cord to the box. He went to a store to purchase an electrical cord the the clothes dryer, and replaced it it one visit.He made sure I tested the dryer (turn it on) to ensure it was working. Yes, the clothes dryer is working.Thank you, Jamie.

I hired Exceptional Electric to install a ceiling fan (replacing old) and run a number of highspeed networking wires in my home. It took a few days doe to the data runs routing them up a wall thru the attic then down another wall and into the basement where I manage the end points.I am very happy with the work done.

It’s true. All of it. They really are that good at what they do, as honest as the reviews say, and as reasonably priced as you could hope for. I have an electrician now, and that’s a serious weight off my mind as a homeowner. They treated my not so big job as if they were doing a full restaurant install. They masked for my health without complaint or pushback, and they stayed honest and true to their word from my initial contact with Monica, through the last screw was in the wall plate by Jamie. Greg, Lyle, and Rich are AMAZING. We initially called to have an electric car charger installed. We asked them to also provide estimates for installing recessed lighting in a finished lower level, overhead lighting in two bedrooms, a outlet for a TV over the fireplace, a floor outlet in a great room, a sub panel, and a garage outlet for a garage door opener. Rich is very familiar with electric cars so he personally came out to give me advice. Lyle started the work and did a great job. Greg finished everything and did an amazing job. He was so professional and his workmanship is impeccable! He involved us in the decisions, explained challenges, and was so conscientious! Drywall cuts were necessary for our installation; his cuts were so clean! Great conversation and very personable! We cannot say enough good things about Greg! I have high expectations and they exceeded them in every regard!

Lyle was professional and polite. It was very easy to schedule an appointment. My initial appointment was understandably cancelled d/t the inclement weather as technicians were unable to drive the service trucks. They were able to get me back in the schedule in 2 days! That is unheard of currently and I was honestly shocked. The job took longer than expected and Lyle was able to come back right away and finish my light installation and outlet move (both of which were, of course, more labor intensive than I anticipated). They left everything spotless in the work areas when they were finished each day. I will be calling them again for any electrical needs and will recommend to anyone that asks. Lyle is a gem! Both he and Isaac were kind, professional, AND pet my yappy dog, so you know they are legit.

Ive used the home warranty before, and there are contractors who dont treat you very well because dealing with home warrantys can be a pain. I needed several things done, and I had Kyle B come out, and the experience was just as the name of the company, extremely exceptional. Not only did he do an excellent job, he saved me money by repairing my ceiling fan that I was prepared to replace.

I hired Exceptional to wire and add a new light fixture in our office where there wasn’t one before, and add a new electrical circuit and outlets to our garage. Greg, our technician, was great. He suggested a way to actually get two new circuits to the garage for the same price and worked hard to get me the best price possible. On the day the work was scheduled he arrived early and got the work done quickly and professionally. In addition, he luckily discovered where the breaker for our A/C was starting to fail and replaced it at the same time. I will definitely call them the next time I need electrical work.

Quite pleased with Exceptional Electric who I had come to install and exterior GFI outlet on my home. My initial communication was with Monika, their secretary and she was fast to respond and answered all of my questions and concerns. Lyle was our service technician who was professional and honest about what would best way to go about completing the work. I was glad he presented a few options to choose from instead of a take it or leave it proposition which made me feel like I had a say in the way to complete the project. Pricing seems fair for the amount of work necessary and there is certainly added value in the fact that the work was performed at that same time of the quote. I was pleasantly surprised to be able to secure an appointment this evening after only calling yesterday. I received a text with my technician’s name and a way to track his arrival before he came. Our window was 4-6 and he arrived right at 4:00pm. Greg (I think that was his name) wore booties in our home and was pleasant and respectful the whole time. He asked permission to walk into other parts of our house and assured me he would vacuum up the dust he made (which he did at the end of the appointment.) He figured out our doozy of an issue and fixed it for us pretty quickly. Since this was the first time using an electrician, I can’t speak on the value, but it was worth it to us and felt like a fair fee. Will definitely use this company in the future.

We wanted our outside weather-head repaired or replaced after experiencing 5 downed lines over the last 15 months due to storm winds and falling limbs. We decided to also replace the electric line from the weather-head to our meter, which required permits and getting Ameren involved. Amerens engineers were slow to respond, internally conflicted, contradictory and unprofessional - in short, absolutely horrible. After 82 years, the service line from the utility pole to our house was declared by Ameren to be unsafe and in violation of their regulations. Their initial remedial requirements were absurd. Rich from Exceptional helped mediate a resolution that ultimately satisfied Amerens internally conflicted and contradictory demands and requirements. When Exceptionals electricians Jamie and Corey were finally cleared to replace the weather-head and new electric line, they showed up on time and performed their work professionally, efficiently and accurately, three adverbs that cannot be used to describe Ameren as it is currently constituted.

We have aluminum wiring and a gap had formed between one of the wires, so we had no power anywhere on the circuit. Exceptional Electric fit us into their schedule for the next day so we didnt have to go long without power to that part of the house. In order to find the problem wire, the electrician had to remove all the light and outlet covers. He worked quickly and cleaned everything up when he was finished (I saw his work-in-progress and it was a mess (it needs to be) but you couldnt tell it was ever a mess when he was finished). He also saved the bad wire to explain to me what happened to cause the gap; I really appreciated him taking the time to teach me something. Also, I had 2 kids under 2 at home with me and he was very considerate of them. We will definitely use them again when we need an electrician.
